Relax. Want steady growth. I hate this.

I agree. I think now would be a good time for the super-whales to drop a few million on the exchanges, keep the price from shooting up too fast. This would kill 2 birds with one stone, making another quantum leap in improving distribution.
I'm afraid this will become a fatal flaw.  The people holding the coins aren't going to distribute them FYI.
I hate to be negative because there are so many cool things happening with NXT, but I can't get over people still holding 5-10% of total coins.

There should be a second official round of distribution where like 1000 people can receive coins and distribute them to everyone they know.

Where would the coins come from?
THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH ALL THESE POS COINS.  The developers of the coins can and do gift themselves massive percentages of the "money" and then act like they are being generous by handing out coins to others.  To buy the coins where did the coins come from in the first plac?  The guy just made them up and put them in his wallet them loaded them up to an exchange and then asked everyone to PAY HIM for his worthless virtual bits called NXT that he gifted himself.  It's the greatest scam in history.

This is the fundamental flaw with POS.

How much did the Nxt developers gift themselves? ...

Edit: no answer. For the later readers, the 'IPO' of Nxt only allowed a max of 1btc, 21 btc was collected. The btc contributions were only a measure to give creating sock puppets a cost.

So, if you gave the max of 1btc then you would only get ~5% of the coins at most (1/21).

Why does no one talk about the larger cap coins when making comparisons to Cinni?

To all of you dumping. If someone bought 4,5btc worth of Cinni at 24500 in one go, he's a fool? Or not?

Yes he is fool. :-) I dumped at 30K just to buy more BC. Cinni pump has ended yesterday if you guys haven't noticed, there are millions of other coins to be pumped by whales, currently DRK and NC2. Whale know that it's too risky to pump too long if there are already so many bagholders after shakeout. BC is holding at around 30K just because people understand that it will grow in value due to CoinKite and other real projects which will guarantee mass adoption of the coin.

This is DUF. And Coinkite only has about 40 terminals worldwide. It is long term and will raise all alts as it is easy to join Coinkite.

Did the adoption of the car go through the roof when there were only 40 places in the world to refuel? No, it takes time. And in theat time, every crypto will join coinkite and/or it's competitors.

A few months now. I asked the wisdom dev to include the link in the drop down menus, but its still not there.

Ah! Is it political?  Grin

I only went on there once or twice but couldn't find it. Can you only get to it with a direct link like the one you posted?

Nice indeed!

ALIAS transfer

A developer is working on this, it will be available soon for Nxt.

Any more info on this?

Monitor this thread >>>> https://nxtforum.org/alias-system/alias-transfer/80/

Kushti is working on it. They are new and still getting familiar with the code, he planned an update yesterday all being well, Kushti should update there soon. He may need more time due to delays getting up to speed with the code, we'll find out  Grin

Can someone summarise the innovative bits of Cinni that make it different?

Do some investment, read some pages of this thread.
almost every page someone is asking this

I read the first page. Can you provide links to more info on the innovative bits?

Innovate bits?  Whoops, dev forgot to put that in, new wallet with innovation on the way.  Wink

Only people who have been following CINNI from the start caught that joke.

It went over my head. What will be innovative about the new wallet?

Not a god damn thing.  It's a scam coin.  Dev forgot to put PoS into the wallet when it first launched because he is talentless.

I made a lot of BTC off it though, and am waiting closely to see what the "big news" is cuz I'm curious if this heap of shit can go higher.

This message will be deleted by dev in 3.....2.......1......

Your last post is still there, is there a lot of censorship in this thread?
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 09, 2014, 12:21:01 PM
At the end of the day mate its still a coin, its used to transfer money and a means of storing value. You can only "innovate" that concept so much.. What will really pick winners from losers is devs, supporters and followings, of which Cinni is doing well on all fronts..

If you dont grasp that you should probably not be in this game.

The devs make the innovations so what is it about the devs that make them special? What are their long term plans for the coin, something we haven't seen before?

Every coin has excellent devs and community, reading the threads has taught me.

Take a read mate...

Coin Control (with link to how it was implemented into Bitcoin in March) and Darksend (based on Darkcoin with a link to the darkcoin thread.)
 discussing it).

Why not buy bitcoin if you want coin control? Or just Darkcoin, a google tells me that they have coin control too as well as Darksend? The multipool is a must these days but Nxt had the first one in March. Can these features catch up with other implementations of the same stuff?

wow nice site

REQUEST VOTING IN CLIENT BY Nuber of shares
like:
<1k BC 1vote
<10000k BC 4 vote
<100000 BC 16 votes
Something like that.

If u have to manually count or check votes with <1k BC will be to many. I think It should bo more like

3k-10k BC 1 vote
<100k BC 5 votes
101-250k 8 votes
250-500k 10 votes
500k+ 12 votes

3k is ~1BTC. Voting is privelege not a right and person with 1 BC shouldnt have 1 vote

This doesn't work because you can simply split your balance into 3k chunks and distribute them over several addresses to maximize your votes.

A Sybil attack.

One BC = One vote. Is there another system that can't be gamed?
