Would be better to buy something new and innovative. NEM is my favorite in this manner. Just my two cents. Why are the majority of your posts hit and run spam promoting NEM in random threads in short spurts (or trashing other coins) and then with weeks or months in between? ... What have you been doing for the last 5 months? Using one of your other BTT accounts? **NEM sockpuppet alert** It might even be the Grand Master himself, looking at the first post Just my two cents.

Daedelus, once kushti posts his papers it's guna put that friggin stupid pdf about pos to shame lol
Maybe, I just hope more people will look at the code more seriously. Cunicula was most open and convincing with his criticism of the so called nothing at stake problem 10 months ago > http://www.reddit.com/r/peercoin/comments/1sokg2/proof_of_stake_and_peercoins_historic_significance/ce17qciI would be willing to wager Nxt has addressed a), b) and c). It was a good marketing coup for "Nothing @ Stake" a few months ago, most dismissed POS out of hand. This unfortunately meant no one looked at Nxt in detail so has slowed the rate of code reviews. Hopefully this will change

Well FUD is a test of sorts to me that revolves around confrontation and asking questions. And we will see who passes.. I also way back was trying to stick up for Kolin / AKA: Digitalindustry He was being hunted and trolled 24/7 by a crew of NXT guys. It's actually pretty easy to diffuse FUD.. answer the questions and move on, done ! Problem is many guys can not answer hon4estly or they will look really bad ..hence the drama Personally I think FUD is a waste of time. Asking questions and stating facts is way more efficient to determine "who passes". Please point me to the start of the mentioned trolling and hunting. IMO, there are very few trolls in the Nxt community - but quite a lot of FUD-fighters FUD = Asking Questions lol, revisionist

Kushti has been working on trying to define the "Nothing@Stake Problem" and is due to publish his findings. I think I saw the first paper will be published on Monday. Seems Nxt and other Proof-of-Stake currencies are suffer from lack of trust to the distributed consensus algo. There are some "threats" described e.g. Nothing-at-Stake, "weaker consensus properties" and so on. To clarify all claims around proof-of-stake currencies, investigate consensus properties and make the research widely accessible via executable parametric simulations we've started Consensus Research group with crowdfunding via Nxt AE https://trade.secureae.com/#5841059555983208287 . First results will be published soon including the most clear and formal definition of Nothing-at-Stake to the moment! Here is Kushti's website with his previous work: http://chepurnoy.org/blog/archives

Kushti has been working on trying to define the "Nothing@Stake Problem" and is due to publish his findings. You guys might be interested in it, hopefully it will be the first time we will be able to have a real discussion over an actual implementation rather than generalisation of an imagined POS implementation. So, I'll leave it to the Maths/computer science academic with the PhD I think I saw the first paper will be published on Monday. Anyone who hasn't voted want to add more nominations for JL?

Ummm.....I may have had something to do with it. https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/nxt-in-space!/ Maybe we should start a crypto space race.....the Vulture2/LOHAN flight may hit the 50 KM mark, which is pretty impressive for a privately funded, 3d printed, homebrew spaceplane running on NXT and a RaspberryPi. Well done Dave. You picked a bad time with the new release and Kushtis awesome contributions hot on your heels Definately pdf, no one can argue with pdf..

I thought we established NXT was the 34 year old "genius" living with his elderly parents, always claiming to be doing something life changing but nothing ever changes. lol, ur still a clown then

Nice one. Whose handiwork is this?

I don't think rat4 has invented POS, but he did come with the POS-only solution.
Peercoin invented the first version of POS, Novacoin cloned and tweaked Peercoin and Blackcoin cloned Novacoin. Blackcoin is a hybrid as it is ultimately based on a hybrid (Peercoin), only it's POW phase is over as it only lasted a week. Nxt was the first pure, 100% POS crypto. And I am repeating myself from about 6 months ago, I am surprised this is still being put out there...

Where is CfB nowadays?
90% of his time in Jinn as far as I know. He consults with the Nxt devs when developing the implementations (and horses around on NxtForum too ) CfB has only been 50% in Nxt since April.

PoS means the rich get richer automatically. Sounds great... if you're rich.
In NXT power belongs to stake holder and it yields + 0.5%. In BTC power belongs to third parties and it yields -10.0%.

I make that 16 nominations for Come-from-Beyond, 15 of them are valid... CfB Nominations1 Daedelus 2 youyou_ 3 msin 4 Ludom 5 QBTC 6 Devphp 7 gs02xzz 8 Tobo 9 JackCelere ThomasVeil (Newbie account > won't be counted, thanks for the support though ) 10 Passion_ltc 11 Isildur23 12 Sebastien256 13 zanzibar 14 th4o 15 salsacz Could you check and confirm? We will be confirming all nominations during the final week, and list accounts that we've found to be "puppets" here on this thread, so nomination process stays as transparent as possible. Any assistance is welcomed in transparency, feel free to call out accounts that may seem like a "puppet" and accordingly votes will be subtracted from the current tally of nominations. Is this the process you have followed to produce this graphic? https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FO03TkWQ.png&t=546&c=dDf1hX-wtDjSHAThe graphic displays just an overall count, we've not filtered any puppet accounts as of yet. Also the graphic is a few hours old now aswell. We will announce mid-next week an official count (on a graphic saying "official), with filtering of puppets. Accordingly, those "puppet" accounts that we filtered will be published on this thread, for a possible re-examination, in the instance we've made an error. Ok, maybe I missed it but that wasn't clear to me. I count 17 valid votes for CfB now. I obviously can't say there are no Nxt sockpuppets but I can say with 95% certainty there are none in that list. I'll look forward to your findings.
