lol Top analysis of Nxt right there, esp about the community (153 users online at one time on nxtforum.org today, 530 posts a day, 15 new members a day ) I like the bit about no-one spending Nxt too, only 50 million traded on the Nxt Asset Exchange in the last 30 days in a bear market >>> http://nxtreporting.com/assetcap.php (scroll to bottom for market summary). 2.5 million Nxt in the last 24 hours. Nxt is flowing into projects that extend outside of crypto like Jinn and Smart Contracts. See jinnlabs.com and smartcontracts.comAny many other crypto businesses (Nxt mining businesses seem to be making 100% ROI measured in weeks/months) Call this hype if you like, but anyone who cared to check would recognise them as facts The Nxt price has declined in lock step with bitcoin in the last few weeks as you would expect (you could argue it has done better, depending how you slice the data). Just looking at the price in any crypto and you will lose your shirt... Nxt is building it's own ecosystem and connecting to existing ones in the real world. But of course you wouldn't be interested in that...

Java and JavaScript are two different languages. Nxt is Java, not sure about Qora.
But I just wanted to ask how many NEMs will be in each stake? And can anyone confirm what the final total number of NEM in ciculation will be? I remember seeing some discussion on this but I don't think there was a conclusion.
Thanks,
Still to be announced but you can whack my ass with a hockey stick if its not 8999999999 For total supply I guess, I think I saw that before. And there are ~1500 stakes that have been claimed, so about 6 million coins per stake?Edit: Just saw your edit. Is 4000 the right number of stakes?

And if you are wondering why Nxt is having so many implementations, you are still have a silo mind where each crypto is an island with the devs as head chiefs who decree who can do what in their domain. Nxt is an open platform where anyone can build what they want on top of Nxt, and they are. See Sergey's project above So to continue the analogy, Nxt is a new continent where anyone can come in and set up their own city state based on the topology (Nxt core) as they find it without permission. Maybe they will settle on the coast to make it easy to do a lot of trade with others (i.e. use Nxt Asset Exchange). Maybe they will settle in the mountains and help others with otherwise navigate difficult passages (i.e. use Nxt Smart Contracts) Maybe they will settle in a metropolis to sell their goods (i.e. use Nxt Marketplace/Free Market (decentralised ebay) One by one new, external devs are coming on board and colonising this new world

other coins to hold value could be nxt clones with better initial distribution if you like the java-shit (i don't) but inflation-wise nxt is very good too. But not exactly nxt because the fundamentals suck. NXT fucked itself up with the initial distribution. Would it have been more thoughtful it could have grown 3 times bigger already. (just my view on things)
I'd be really interested, in your view, what you think happened in the initial Nxt distribution? You seem to think the distribution was somehow planned and have an odd definition of fundamentals.

happy to see polo. as a market, too. I love polo. and users without NXT account can also buy some NOXT. Thought for the day, anyone has been able to buy any Nxt AE asset without a Nxt account for about 6 months. You can make purchases in Bitcoin at secureae.com Here is the link for NOXT > https://trade.secureae.com/#6780060819348751348(check the ID number in the link if you are reading this through someone quoting me)

An easier method is to use the Nxt faucet for your first transaction... http://nxtra.org/faucet/You just need: Account ID Public Key Email ...all clearly labelled. Then do the transfer out from Bittrex after that. (Edit: or jnxt.org above, both do the same thing)

Is it a brand new Nxt account you are trying to transfer to?
yes, why? New accounts display a special code you need to use the first time you use an account, think of it as an activation code. This code what you need to give Bittrex. I think it is only displayed for a short time the first time you log in(could be wrong). I am not sure how to get it once it is no longer displayed. I will get you some help. Speaking of the public key? This is the message I am being displayed Welcome to your new NXT account. Your account ID is XXXXXXXXXXX - When funding your account for the first time, you also need to include your public key, which is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX . Yes, you need to enter your public key (referred to as activation code for simplicity, it is more than this). I am not sure how Bittrex works so look for somewhere to enter your public key when trying to transfer your Nxt. You will only have to do it once. I have posted on nxtforum.org so someone should be along shortly, if I can't help you resolve it.
