What are your results for your miners?

I've been on f2pool for an hour and I'm at 480 mh/s

Litecoin pool was showing 499 within 15 minutes with testing
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Best pool for LTC mining? 1 L3+ on: July 18, 2017, 09:53:08 PM
Currently on f2pool, but with over 50% of hashpower there looking at potential more profitable alternatives ?

2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL asic mine 2000MH/s on: July 17, 2017, 04:56:55 AM
Baikal and ibelink never gave the slightest shit about me and my attempts to order, so I gave up on that route and ordered l3+ / GPU

The timing of their miners show

They only dump miners when profits go down
Points to confirm impending ibelink miners and they want to offload $$$$$ before ibelink miner makes them a classic

^^ those two just my theory
2109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minebox Pre-order 8TB and 16TB Models using SIA on: July 17, 2017, 04:40:21 AM
Not worth it. If you want to do SIA/Storj/Maidsafe/Burst, DIY a build with these 8TB WD red drives for $210 (shuck it from the enclosure): https://www.amazon.com/Book-Desktop-External-Drive-WDBBGB0080HBK-NESN/dp/B01LQQHLGC/

Minebox was originally using those WD Red Drives and switched for the better IronWolf drives.

The point of this device is not how cheap you can make cloud storage, the point of this device is storing your data in a decentralized network where you control your private key to your data.

If you connect a Minebox to the network, add all your data and your Minebox fails... you can recover 100% of your data, that's what makes Minebox unique. In addition to this, you can earn SIA Coin for reselling your unused space on the network.

Minebox is first to market with this type of device.

Personally I think this is really interesting and think eventually it would be successful. . How soon ? That's hard to say! Any idea on profitability in today's market?

How exactly do I utilize

The new watchdog function?

Auto reboot?

And can I remote in?

First I recommend watching the v0018 DEMO linked on the OP: I give an overview of how the WATCHDOG works.

To use the WATCHDOG; you only need to set:

Code:
IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG="YES"

AUTO_REBOOT will stop all mining and reboot when its timeout expires.  You use it by setting:

Code:
AUTO_REBOOT="YES"

and then setting the timeout in minutes
Code:
REBOOT_TIMEOUT_IN_MINUTES=1440

is once a day

If you are planning on using a headless / SSH setup ensure:

Code:
LOCALorREMOTE="REMOTE"

then after SSHing into the rig:

enter

Code:
screen -r miner

SALFTER_NICEHASH_PROFIT_SWITCHING

and

IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG

will intermittently kill your screen in their normal operation.

When using PROFIT_SWITCHING and or WATCHDOG if your screen was killed you can connect to the regenerated one with the same cmd:

Code:
screen -r miner

Also I have noticed a problem when using both PROFIT_SWITCHING and or WATCHDOG together; I will make changes to the next 1bash to fix it.

Why would I reboot the rig daily if it has consistent performance? Your software has given me 100% uptime

2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: July 15, 2017, 06:38:18 PM
subbed.

Yes, Definitely a wave of new people and the same questions over and over again.... Was quite a ride especially as profitability spiraled downwards.

My main curiosity is:  Are the whales and bigger fish going to pull out of the alt to consolidate or exchange to fiat during the wave the fork will cause?

Or....

Will it be the opposite, seeing alts surge at the last minute right before BTC does its transition?

I'm also wondering what the bubble is going to be like when the waves of mining/deep learning GPU's will hit the market in the next years time....  will it be more of a pop or a growing one?

Well my thoughts are this Nvidia is positioning to be the king of gpu mining.
They have much deeper pockets then AMD.

The 1080 ti is a ZEC killer and at the moment I type  Zec is ranked at 14 for coins
I see a big upside for ZEC
http://coinmarketcap.com/

Ya, i agree that Nvidia may take over on the GPU mining, just hope the market doesnt dry up like the AMD side did....
today was a rare double pay day... maybe triple at the rate of return on coins at the current moment.. Equihash has been super for me today..

How exactly was it a double pay day? my returns are about the same every day  Huh What pool are you using?

2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Pandaminer B3+ Review - Why you should never buy a Pandaminer B3+ / B1 on: July 15, 2017, 01:50:31 AM
Hey guys I put together a review video on my Pandaminer B3+
https://youtu.be/sefJNg8Bv5I

I saw some promising reviews and specs on the pandaminer gpu eth zec xmr mining rig, so I began my quest to attain one. .  They were flying through their pre-orders in seconds / minutes selling 1000+ panda miners . .  it was tough to acquire. I reached out to the Virginia Pandaminer Distributor and he was able to get me a panda miner however at the BTC price he wanted, I ended up paying about $3000 dollars for a Pandaminer B3+ at the end of May.

Long story short some of these pandaminers are catching fire, going up in flames is ridiculous because their production was rushed and just cheap. You can read more about the latest panda miner fire here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1946017.0

My pandaminer worked for about a week before at this point my understanding is that windows updated and now does not recognize the GPU

SMOS did not work for me and tytanick states he does not support pandaminers

pandamOS by eliovp is promising however his current version did not work for me, he will begin working on a fix this weekend

List goes on, watch the videos for full details, I do not recommend this miner.

I'll update later as I'm determined to make this thing work, any input on getting it running correctly would be more than welcome.

Update
Here is my second pandaminer . . I am also experiencing issues with this b3+

thanks for the review dude. I was looking at a pandaminer, because I wanted something "turn-key" and didn't want to futz with building/configuring a mining rig, but since they were sold out and wouldn't get here probably in another month, I got my 5x 1080 ti cards in, but then when I went to turn on my old motherboard/CPU I had from doing some Litecoin mining (back in early 2014 I believe) the bios wouldn't post....so I just spent another 300 bucks on motherboard, CPU, and ram.

Absolutely brother! I think you definitely made the right choice good luck on your mining! How's your rig turned out now?
