2121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal reserve should help us volatility of btc on: December 24, 2020, 05:27:58 PM
1. They don't have unlimited amount of cash
2. Institutions have a personal preference over this believe it or not
3. They will make the market centralized if involved with
4. They cannot give USDT stimulus and still think about making their own crypto
5. They think more about the 10% of Bitcoin users which use bitcoins for bad purposes
6. Crypto is not all about making money Cry(
7. USD is right now in a bubble and can have problems at any time.
8. If BTC is 50k people will encash ofcourse !! Which would decrease the price tremendously and Fed will have to use a lot ...and a lot of money to take care of it.
9. Donald Trump is crazy !! Literally crazy !! He is not about business , he does not know how to make people vote for him so he just gives them money every once in a while.
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: EU reality and challenges. on: December 24, 2020, 05:00:38 PM
I do believe that if we are talking about the pandemic every state and every country they are just trying to cope up beat according to themselves. They won't follow any laws right now , you cannot expect them too , The new mutated form of Virus in the UK is a cause of massive concern.

The main problem of the EU began on the day when they said that "we welcome all refugees, welcome".
All that is happening to them now is quite an expected result of the policy of friendliness to migrants. This is billions of money going to waste on useless people who do not want to work, do not want to assimilate and want to build another Pakistan and destroy everything that white great Europe has built for so long and with love.
As long as this continues, it will get worse.

Honestly I do believe that they did that so that they could actually expand their empire , they wanted to rule without having any wars or anything we don't live in th 10th century anymore so that's what they did. They just wanted to feel big and at the same time have control over it. After this matter of time it was just the war between EU and the UN internally about which one's bigger , stronger , better.

EU might not disband one day :-
But many countries might leave the EU one by one since they are better developed now as compared to before , so they might leave but EU itself won't ever be broken by the main party.

You need to understand their mentality deeper , they don't want to appear weak.
2123  Economy / Economics / Re: US Economy finally rebounds in the right direction. on: December 23, 2020, 06:40:27 PM
I don't even understand the fact that why people of the US are complaining so much about the lockdown. It's not like anyone is getting benefited from it. Lockdown is essential !! Very essential!! The strain in the UK is an example so as what will happen if the virus was allowed to mutate uncontrollably.

Lockdown is essential but at the same time the government have to look into the fact that people here are living without jobs and small businesses are already done for till now. They have to handle everything. At least I believe that anyone would be better off than Trump and honestly after a pandemic what we saw in the US was not even that bad. They will recover soon and I do think it's normal , but still the value of dollar is like a balloon. If they continue to bring out the stimulus , it can go down anytime.

2125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: December 21, 2020, 06:31:35 PM
So you mean that the Central banks were well off on a good road to ever increasing wealth in the first place ? NO ! They are just in a bind and causing numerous problems, not just for the people but for themselves too. The government is the one which is responsible for their stability, if the government cuts off the funds and decides to close them then we will reach a moment when these bodies can start disappearing. Right now I do think that it will take 10 more pandemics to make it happen. The banks might be weak , might be based on a bubble but at the same time they are far from getting collapsed they are more or so funded by the government.

- Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are actually dependent on the trading between the Cryptos in fiats and thats how people use them everyday.

Bitcoins won't make them collapse if anything they are actually helping the banks to actually increase their range of customers. They might as be codependent in the future.

***Not always we have to look at things negatively.***
2126  Economy / Economics / Re: ...And the good news keeps on coming... on: December 21, 2020, 05:33:12 PM
Okay there can be two cases here :
1. The government is trying to protect themselves because they genuinely might have sold this information to someone else or might have compromised the people , which is really really common. They do this all the time. The FBI they track everything. The FB , instagram and WhatsApp are something which is being used by the same company to track your every step. This is really common.
2. They might have lost this database since they are only good at hacking but at the end bad at keeping them safe. They take these things for granted and at the end 🔚 this is what might happen now what should people do ??

- I am not a US citizen but I do believe that they have to stand up for this , they have to register a case against these governmental itself. No body is bigger than the judicial system. Now if they do that they might not get anything out of it BUT ** they will succeed in creating awareness about this particular thing which happens every now and then and is more or so  ignored**
2127  Economy / Economics / Re: A reward system for Covid Free people.... on: December 21, 2020, 03:33:21 PM
Why the Reward System won't work :
1. Catching COVID is accidental it's not like someone really wants to go and get the virus and is getting something good out of it. Therefore doing this might not only harm the basic intensions it was started because of.
2. People with COVID are the ones who need extra care and extra money , they have to pay huge amount of money to the hospitals and banks. Most of the people with COVID , they are unable to get treated since the hospitals are asking for unreasonable money.
3. If government did start to do that they will just take that money out of : Where?? Our taxes ?? Print more money?? How big the reward is supposed to be ?? Which might encourage people to stay inside ? Most of them won't even care for a small one.
4. Government is unable to provide free masks , free sanitizers and you think they will do this ? 😂 I don't believe they think about anything practically.
5. This would only work for the rich countries like USA.
6. What about the countries where the Virus have mutated to a much worse strain ??

**Initiating a reward system is blaming people for getting sick**

Just like our schools, where apparently kids who did not get sick and did not take holidays were Rewarded with money , or gold medal , or trophies. I believe that's just honestly the kind of society we live in , where people are not even allowed to feel sick and vulnerable and blamed for it.
2128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Avoid US Based Exchanges Now? on: December 21, 2020, 09:14:58 AM
In terms of centralized exchanges do you think it would be better to use ones not based in the US now?
I'm thinking of avoiding Kraken and Coinbase completely now and just using ones not based in US such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobi.
Btw I'm not personally a US citizen and the KYC rules and regulation on transactions the US government doing seem like a huge hassle now, so would be good to avoid that.
Hello
I do believe that you have to understand that no matter what these exchanges won't change their policies or anything . I do think no matter what , stick to a local exchange. If you are a US resident, you cannot avoid it for sure. Binance is a good choice more or so but I do believe the local exchanges will give you good chances of making profits and you won't have to convert them into other currencies before trading.
These exchanges too will make KYC mandatory soon though.
Where are you from ? Plus now a days KYC is everywhere not just in the US and for the safe side I do prefer exchanges which use KYC since this gives us the right to stand up for any issues in the future if god forbid something happens. If the cryptocurrencies are protected by laws in that particular state and at the same time their policies state you can do it. Use it ! Don't make much of the KYC. If you do like that exchange go for it , if no go for a good local one.
**But let us please remember the fact that all these KYC etc... Is just secondary, if you do have FB in your mobile and KYC attached to your bank account which is essential everywhere your information is already tracked and registered**
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Number Lose Streak Formula on: December 21, 2020, 12:14:18 AM
Hello

If you are not particularly going to calculate for a normal bet I do think it will be good for you to use the following formula.

| Inverse (n)/Inverse (p) l

|  | = Modulus
n= number of trails
p= square of probability.

Now if you are going to calculate for the game like football , you won't be able to calculate the exact probability but an approximate value. You can look for the values in the table below.

Please note that simple probability won't work in a game which is complex so there will always be a margin +/- when you are calculating it.

-.-

This formula was way easier to understand and was relatively small which I found on :- source

Just a quick help.
Is there anyone here knows the formula for Martingale lose streak.

What I want to get is the how many lose streak before my x amount of money will lose.

Let's say I have 100USD on my account.
My starting bet is: 5USD
For every lose, bet will increase in 100% and if I won, bet will reset to 5 USD. Martingale style.
So, what I want to get is how many lose streak before my 100USD will get rekt?
Is there any simple formula for this?

Thanks!
This the formula

Initial bet + (initial bet*2) + (initial bet*22) + and so on....

Just do SUM all of your bets before and you will get how many streak lose you can handle with your bankroll before it rekt

This would be extremely long and complicated if the person decides to actually sit down and bet for a long period of time.

At the same time OP I do believe that you have to understand for a fact that calculating it is relatively different when done for different kinds of bets .
2130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is used all the time even if you hodl. on: December 20, 2020, 06:23:06 PM
See the thing is HODL doesn't quite mean that you are supposed to keep bitcoins away locked up unattached with the market and the economics but actually it does mean that you are using those bitcoins to maintain a stable BTC pool which would resist any change in the price. I take it as a buffer solution , it will protect the bitcoins from any ups and downs. Plus when we talk about how you are leaning it and such I do believe that is inevitable , that's how it is made , we cannot use it just as it is , we still have years to reach that stronghold. Right now what is important is understanding the value of it. Many people cash in - cash out instantly , some of them regret moments later. Holding them does provide you with a part of power in the pool and you do have a secure future since we all know it's going to climb for sure. The limited supply is something that would mean you are holding an immensely rare element of the periodic table , even more expensive than gold. Take it as an investment ! Don't think much and understand the meaning behind it.

for me it's a buffer system just like the hydrocarbon buffer in our blood , nominal but essential.

2132  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a Tesla with Bitcoin on: December 20, 2020, 04:14:59 PM
I really like the graph you made 😂 I do think if someone saves up one day for sure the value of 1 BTC will be equivalent to 1 tesla no doubt.

- Government is accepting bitcoins more and more
- Pandemic have shown the fragility of the government institutions
- Banks are not the preferred method of investments anymore
- Gold and other investments are showing hyperinflation therefore not a plausible investments there too
- There are better at home jobs when it comes to bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies

Literally so many reasons , one can only imagine the height bitcoins will reach in a while. Let us wait till that time.

You know at this time it's really funny that some people are trying to manipulate the market by posting posts such as : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fool.com/amp/investing/2020/12/20/why-i-wont-buy-bitcoin-and-you-shouldnt-either/
But these are the kind of people who hold bitcoins and no one even knows about it 🤣
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 20, 2020, 03:30:38 PM
I have never heard of it.

The cashbacks and reward percentage provided by the particular gambling site might give you some of the money back but that is not insurance in the first place.
If there was any insurance people would just recklessly use the money and won't even be considerate of the losses. So the company will never allow such things to happen.

What you can insure is , something that might happen by accident but here the person is fully aware of what he is doing therefore I don't think any company will actually allow you to have one.

If you do find a company making such claims that's a scam for sure.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sharing Casino 100% Winning Strategy With Profit 10% Per Hour [Limited Time] on: December 19, 2020, 06:03:30 PM
If you did have a working strategy you could have just used it yourself and really prevented people from doubting you. You should understand for a fact that , things like these , they don't work and people are not that gullible to message you and help you with their money every month and that too whole life.

One thing about gambling is : Nothing can be 100% fool proof, therefore you have to realize this and then maybe rephrase your post ??

Plus please newbies beware : Don't provide your personal documents , don't provide mail or anything this can very easily progress in a bad way.

**Gambling is more focused on luck+strategy** therefore this cannot work anyways but best of luck for your future endeavors and please stop scamming people like this and expect them to pay money for this. Only thing I cannot understand is why are you giving it for free, what are you asking them for though ??

op is funny but he is not scamming because he dont ask for any money at first ,
what he ask is a few details to see if your a legit person but the procedure can be fake if he wont ask for an id or a kyc but asking those sensitive materials will also make him untrusted  .

if a player win using his method , it is possible for a player to not give any and they wont be harmed if they provide fake picture and name .

you need to revised this op and arrange this in place to gain an income

Exactly Huh I don't understand what he is trying to do though 😅😂

Maybe post your post in services section...  Offer services to people who want someone to guide them. This post is a little weird...
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 19, 2020, 03:28:21 PM
Hello
I do believe that most of these prediction gambling have only one flaw , which is the excessive waiting time , this time during the elections it was really hard waiting for the results to come up , since the people had already invested they had to actually wait for a while till the whole drama settled down and it was indeed a lot of pressure on the companies too.
Plus this time it was really easy to predict on the results , since it was trump vs Biden in the end and everyone was already too tired to trump behaving like a child.
i cant think of pros but i can think of con that you havent listed . that is its boring to wait because predicting is not instant as the regular gambling .
Same issue with me.
I can't think of any pros about it.
Almost all gamblers are short-tempered. Grin I don't think it will work.

It does work with known sports though like NBA, NFL, Soccer, etc..
Since there will always be an end to every season.
But cryptocurrencies predicting? Hmmm..
It may not be a good business to handle, not with gamblers.

Well believe it or not there are some gamblers which can wait for a while and those are the ones who are making money more than us 😂
I can barely wait 2 seconds.

2136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Adam Back the real Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 19, 2020, 01:26:10 PM
Mr. Satoshi went though a lot to hide his identity.

Let us remember the fact that Mr. Adam was one in two people to recieve a message from Mr. Satoshi.

Now if he would have been Mr. Satoshi , he would not have done that , this would have made his very easy to track therefore I do believe that's not the case. Even though as you said it , they have similar attributes but that does not entirely tell us that he is the Creator of bitcoins and since he is actually involved with media , youtube , channels , supports bitcoins and other things openly I do believe he might have different opinions about coming out about the things you support as Mr. Satoshi have yet to come out in the public. He might , he might not.

What about "Aliens" 😂??
Yes I am very well aware of the fact that people believe that slimes abducted them and are enslaving them etc.. but I do think that it's not possible since if there were any aliens near us they would have to at least come from the nearest habitable planet , the journey itself would take years even if they travel with the speed of light and according to Mr. Einstein e=mc2/1-v2/c2 , they will dissolve into atoms and I don't think this is reversible and thus would disperse in the universe. If they did went through all this trouble to find a source to come to earth and back I do believe that they will make us know about it , plus about NASA hiding stuff , I am sure it's nothing, just superstitions 😂😂
2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Us government about to auction 1.6billon worth bitcoin on: December 18, 2020, 05:47:35 PM
If the news is true , then they did wait for the all time high to auction bitcoins , this precisely show their double standards, on one side they are not openly supportive of the cryptocurrencies like bitcoins and on the other they waited for the perfect opportunity to gain some profits. Well this is maybe going to change the perception of the government , these bitcoins can help the government and the people at the time of the pandemic for sure and that is a good thing but on the other hand they have to accept it too.
Plus ofcourse things like these happen in the past all the time and I fail to understand why instead of auctioning them for money they keep bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as an investment for the future since we are always aware of how it's usage and benefits have spurt up in just few years. They should more or so make an investment in bitcoins too!! This will be more beneficial for them and can provide stability to the people and might even attract more customers...but then again...it's the government that we are talking about. Main thing : the price can fall down a little so we will have a perfect buying opportunity.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA preseason betting experiment on totals. on: December 18, 2020, 04:43:58 PM
1-  Orlando at Atlanta - over 224
2- New York at Detroit -  over 217
3- Houston at Chicago -  over 221
4- L.A. Clippers at L.A. Lakers - over 221
5- Sacramento at Portland - over 225

3 out of 5, no bad at all.

We have 7 games tomorrow and looks like most of them will hit the 220 points average.

Good if you have a spreadsheet showing your loss or profit mate so that followers of this thread could appreciate more on what you are doing.

Great prediction! if things go well I think you can create your own prediction thread and I'll follow your tips in NBA totals. It's nice that the NBA now starts the preseason may I ask when is the start of the NBA season?

Hello it's not a prediction it's risk taking ,which does mean he doesn't really have a proof of well why he choose it ... So therefore I believe OP did slightly evade the loss and it could have gone down both ways.
In day 7 I got  5 wins of 7 games, and that will bring my win percentage to 52.6% or (20/38)

Day 8 here we go.

1-Philadelphia at Indiana
2-Miami at Toronto
3-Cleveland at New York
4-Milwaukee at New Orleans
5-Chicago at Oklahoma City
6-Brooklyn at Boston
7-Portland at Denver
8-L.A. Lakers at Phoenix

Will edit once the line is out.
Hopefully it would be good but I do think you should rely on more stable things instead of just going for luck though.

May I know how long does the preseason last and also may I know how much profit you've already made?
Was it positive or negative? Well is there a way we could use the result in preseason to the regular season and based the bets on this thread?
I really think we could do something about this experiment.

He already have given the profit and loss percentage if you want to see. Which is around 52.8, 20 out of 38 games.

Good luck on your pick. Would you mind putting a running percentage every time you update?

That would be awesome for us to see how's the experiment is going at a given date.

I got 2-2 today.

Thank you for your suggestion, I'm gonna make a running percentage in my next post.

Seems like overs are not really hitting most of the time, it's different compared to the last season when covid-19 wasn't still here, but still let's see by the end of the preseason.

You are consistent that's a given but I do believe you should change your strategy according to the situation here . But at the same time you did give people a good experiment to count on which might be used by many in the course of time. But then again it's a 50/50 chance that at any particular time you will win. Best of luck 👍
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 18, 2020, 04:08:47 PM
Since this thread was put back to life anyway and the journal finished so abruptly a year ago, I wonder what happened with the plan. Op is still active on Bitcointalk, so perhaps we'll get a comment here of how it went. It was a long shot because the odds are pretty high on each bet and the strategy assumes the person keeps winning. Op did have a few successful bets at the beginning (when I tried a similar strategy recently I lost right away, and it was game over for me), but I suppose the reality caught up and a losing bet followed? What do you think of that experiment of yours now?

Same here , I was thinking of the same thing , honestly things like that Never works for me personally , no matter how hard I try , at the end it's all on luck and therefore ultimately I just try and participate in the ones which does have a good profit percentage and good odds in my favour.
I think since the OP haven't responded yet maybe he didn't really like the idea and changed his strategies? But at the same time he did mention that "he does not provide Gambling advice etc" which I do think is a good thing.
For the ones that are just starting, keep it easy and steady at the beginning. By giving all your money on the first few bets, you give in to addiction, and I'm sure that's not your purpose. I'll give you a tip by which I guided myself in the beginning to get a hold of how it all works, and to fair, I still use this source to this day. I'm talking about this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmYACL3ENoaPJVNpeqsdrvQ that gives predictions about future games. It helps a great deal to do your research before putting your money on a team, I never make any move without having sufficient information.

Predictions ?
Really ?
No the octopus which became famous back in the day for the football isn't something that work out , it's by chance and at the same time I don't think anyone can predict !! They can see the information and analyze which even you can do but the positive point will be that you made your own decision on this without any bias , generally there is always a personal bias in things like this. Therefore I don't think you should go for any predictions.
2140  Economy / Economics / Re: Consumer Inflation Still Nowhere to be Found on: December 17, 2020, 05:47:09 PM
Let's be clear about one thing ;
All this money when it was transferred to the people or went into the circulation , it started the economic cycle again during the pandemic which is more than essential. Now this would only work to an extent. If they use it over the USD will for sure fall in the value. Now it went like a cycle.
money creation
Consumer
Producer
Profits to government
Consumer
Now ofcourse the money that goes to the government is lower than what they generated , this was compensated by the reserves they have. Now this situation particular in the USA is relatively very good. When you think about the poor countries, the government cannot provide them with money and start their economy again so there what's happening is :
Producer is not able to sell food products because the consumers are not able to buy due to pandemic, producers have not even harvested their crops and big companies are giving them as low as 1/70 th of a dollar for 1 kg of crop.

Big companies are trying to buy out the producers and selling the crops at higher prices calling it inflation whereas it's just greed

Producer is dying , consumer is unable go cope up with the economic stress , government is not getting their taxes due to heavy inflation which is not due to pandemic , but due to greed and necessity which is generated by the big companies.

The economic circle is static and people are without jobs even working whole day for a dollar at places because the government is not able to handle the pandemic.

For once I do think we should stop talking about the big countries and focus on the small ones who are worst hit due to the pandemic.  We have to focus and spread the information , not just about the well off nations but about the worst hit ones who are generally ignored.
