2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Pandaminer B3+ Review - Why you should never buy a Pandaminer B3+ / B1 on: July 15, 2017, 01:45:36 AM
is there a 110v alternative? in north america...

How is ethOS working out for you?

anyone get their panda problems solver by using eliosvp's solutions?

eliovp is the only hope for those freaking panda miners lol, he has customer support, panda should hire him.
https://youtu.be/s4_6WdIRSE0

I haven't made an update video on my latest stuff but basically that one ended up working properly on a proper PSU w/ PandamOS

Nice, I feel you're pain.  Bought 20 of them and have had a few issues with flaky GPU's and their pirate Chinese Windows 10.  Replaced Windows 10 with EthOS which fixed the OS issue.

Next up is to replace the PSU's with 2400W Parallel Miner kits that I bought (http://www.parallelminer.com/product/2400-watt-power-supply-kit-for-gpu-mining-94-efficiency-200-240v-ethereum-eth-zec-dash/).  Each 2400W PSU has a 16 x 8-pin PCIe power outlet breakout board meaning you'll be able to power 2 x Pandaminers off each one once you under-volt and optimise the GPU BIOS and core clock-speed.

Wire 250v ends up as 240v, PSU adjusts but definitely upgrade your PSU from panda oem POS

So let's say you use jaxx or exodus

You can export your private key

But you still hold your BTC in that wallet

What difference does it make if I hold my BTC in exodus / export private key? I'd have the private key regardless?

best power usage for a 1070 mini? 125w? (max sol/w)

Anyone email baikal and get a response on the price for this "new" miner?

I already have 1 and have a 2nd on the way
What's the price per unit?
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - 5 STAR PRODUCT 1 STAR SERVICE - BAD BUSINESS PRACTISE on: July 13, 2017, 12:45:47 PM
At this point I would be very careful about spending any sizeable chunk on an x11 miner.  Baikal has a new miner, PinIdea has a new miner, and iBelink supposedly has a monster right around the corner.  There is almost no info on how many of each of these miners there are or how quickly new ones will be coming out.  Hashrate could go really high very soon.

I hope they offer the 300mh cubes too. I'd rather have 10 cubes at 3,000 mh and pay more than all my eggs in 1 basket with ONE unit, in case something goes bad.

I mean, what do they have a 90 day warranty. Just saying a 300mh cube blows you still have 90% of your equip yet to mine with.

Just a thought

Completely agree with that thought process, their new 2k mh/s miner stresses me out lol when you compare them in that regard!

I heard the EVGA 1050w GS is good for L3+
I'll check that out right now thanks for the tip
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative PSU for Antminer L3+ ? on: July 13, 2017, 04:21:24 AM
If it were me id buy top notch.  If you have a $200 miner and if frys meh so be it.  These miners are gold right now and you should be supplying it with a proper psu, worth the extra money you will make it back quickly right now
What do you consider top notch?
2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Alternative PSU for Antminer L3+ ? on: July 12, 2017, 07:28:41 PM
Anyone have recommendations for a PSU to use aside from bitmains apw3++ ? Looking for bang for buck / efficiency

Bought these, they're freaking sweet. More uses and better bang for buck than bitmain antminer apw3++ / other Power Supplies

Best PSU for one L3+

For those with an L3+, what are some PSU's I could use for it / how many inputs do I need for it?
2132  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - Like New + Used Mining Rigs (GPU and ASIC), Mining Hardware and Acc. USA on: July 12, 2017, 01:17:06 PM
How much for the seasonic snow and bitfenix cables shipped to the UK?
Is this including the original seasonic cables or PSU w/ only the bit fenix cables?

I'm planning to use the bitfenix cables in my desktop build, however I could order another set and send both to you as one package if they're not readily available to you

If youre planning on usuing the bitfenix cables in your new build then keep them, thats not a problem Smiley. Ill just have the standard cables with the psu please.

I'll PM you

You can order a ledger off their website, but shipping is expensive, and it wont ship until early september.

yeah looks like that ship sailed.

I ordered a trezor  and put 0.01 btc in it  .

Seems to work okay but I think I will need to leave it alone for now.

I reduced the miners alot.

I got good prices selling all the 1070's
And the rx 480's
I have to decide what to do in the next few weeks.

I get two new 1080ti's today ordered 9 days ago.  The price was okay 683 each.  But the cards do not earn like they were.
I may list them in the marketplace rathe then open them.
Or I may sit on them  until august 2-5
how many TI do you currently have phil and you say their earnings are down, by how much for you?

I think  I am at 10 of them  only 8 mining and at zec they are pretty low

8 of them at nicehash are doing as low as  2.50 each or 20 a day  mining zcash.

they burn 1300 watts  or 31 kwatts a day at 10 cents = 3.10

so 20 - 3.10 = 16.90 a day round down say 16 a day after power.

but they are pretty much fully paid off.   so 500 a month net no debt

far cry from 3 grand a month  - 600 power = 2400 a month net.
yeah we've seen quite a drop ..   what is your kw/c cost? What is your gameplan for the rest of the year?

also for your msi aero what did you find to be the best sol/watt setting?

Second Official Desktop GUI Wallet Available for ZenCash

ZenCash users need GUI wallets to send private transactions and private messages using Shielded Transactions (also known as z_transactions). There is now an official ZenCash version of the Swing wallet for Linux, and Windows!

The Swing wallet supports the full features of ZenCash, including private transactions and messaging.

The Windows version is available for download, and includes a .exe file that can just be clicked on and run. No separate binaries need to be installed and run, it is a complete package.

I tried mining zec on slushpool, nice site, getting the workers to populate correctly with nvOC was frustrating, and the returns are not as high or consistent than other pools. However I did earn .33 zec when I normally earn .18 zec on their pool with 6.5k sols

What pools are you all using to mine ZEC currently
