2141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 27, 2023, 11:10:11 AM
Quote
In gambling, many must lose so that the few may win

This is the reality. Everyone couldn't be winners in gambling. Most of us have to lose so others would get their chance to win. Casinos can't sustain to provide winnings for all their players so we have no choice but just to rely on our luck. Things will only differ on how we deal with the risks of gambling by knowing when to stop especially if we're already losing too much.
There was a newly created topic here that I think talks about the same thing. It's about casino funds and the OP questions if the casino is only paying using the funds of other gamblers. I think that was true in the long run when the casino gather a lot of players but if they are only starting then a casino might need to prepare a good amount of capital because what if those few players win huge?

It's pretty painful to stop when you know that you are losing too much so there's a tendency that a gambler will just continue but there are instances that they got lucky and win huge before their balance gets completely depleted. I experience this sometimes and it's much easier for me to quit when this happened.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 27, 2023, 06:38:01 AM
Actually that's the magic of Real Madrid as usual no matter which players or coach leading this club it's always been the same exciting scenario for important matches with the White house where we enjoy last minutes when they score drawing goal and most likely win the match. The young player Rodrygo managed to pass all Atliteco Madrid defense and score a very beautiful goal with his solo game.
It's like a tradition to see this scenario of Madrid derby where Real score drawing goal in last minutes of the game against Atletico. I bet that La Casa Blanca will win this match since in the other hand Atletico lost many hope while they could end the match in several chances but they didn't do and now they are paying for it
No doubt about Rodrygo's talent he came from bench and change the all situation in this tense match which ended in draw after 90 minutes and Real Madrid won in extra time with the two goals from Karim Benzema and Vinícius Júnior this win now give them place into last four which is good sign but here in this match 100th minute RED CARD to Savic change the all momentum into Real Madrid favor which was doing good in defense and having good change to win this match.

Real Madrid after losing against Villarreal in La Liga match was feeling not good and their performance level was also falling which was concern for the coach and players but now suddenly two win Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao change their momentum, and they have good encouragement which is going to help them for having more wins in league for the better end.
2143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 26, 2023, 09:58:06 PM
In my own opinion I just see it as a risk, but the question is , was the risk worth it?? Using 1.4million dolls to bet 1.01 odd to me its insane because the money you are expecting to win is not worth the risk, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and risk .
For me, it's just too risky. I mean, spending 1.4 million dollars to bet on a 1.01 odds? That's crazy. The potential winnings aren't worth it, in my opinion. But hey, everyone's got their own risk tolerance and opinions. I guess it just depends on how much you're willing to risk for a chance at a big payout. But it's important to consider all possible outcomes, not just the potential reward. And you better have a plan if things don't go your way.
With that amount of money, I expect that the winnings are still going to be a little beefy even for them who are already rich and I think there is no brainer on why they choose to gamble that high on the tiniest number of odd and that is because they think it was less risky but unfortunately gambling is gambling and there is always a good chance to lose.

But, I think them as a bettor already knows this possibility so we must not be alarmed to what had happened. That was his playstyle but my playstyle would be to have a small capital and gamble with higher payouts. I always feel that it's less riskier plus there is no hard feelings when I lose this way.
2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 08:58:31 PM
Is it safe to say that casino platforms is running their business with users find only? I read somewhere that they pay winners with losers money, I couldn't ask him or her if a casino can start business with zero fund at hand, I know that most of them wired their system to favour them more ( lose more and win less ) , if not they will run out of business fast I belief, what do you think about this? Was I wrong about this? Come to think of this, there is no prove that they have some money to pay winners.
There is also no proof that what you read somewhere out there is true.
Proof of funds/solvency was popular in the past where most casinos provide a signed message of their wallet where they hold their funds.
It is no longer popular anymore, now it is easier (at least for me) to know which casinos is reliable enough to play without worrying that they will not pay winners because they dont have funds.
Even if there is no proof, that will still be believable because casino do always wins right? I know there are some who wins but the majority of them are still a loser and this money will be too much to pay those who win.

The rest of it will just go the casino but they can't pocket it all of course because they also pay to maintain their casino. Indeed proof of funds for casino was once a thing but did you know that after the FTX incident, many people are talking about this again? It helps people to be confident when they see the platform's available funds. Let's just hope that proof of funds will make a comeback again, in order to reduce the scam casinos around.
2145  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: January 26, 2023, 01:28:22 PM
I continue to think and argue that when payments during gambling are made using cryptocurrencies, then the KYC procedure is a damn evil, an invention by the American banking lobby and reflected in the US legislation.
And then it was spread around the world because all local legislators and governments look with their mouths open and give in to these American alleged "masters of the world" because they are issuers of paper money, and now even simpler numbers in a computer in the form of newly created dollars.  Everyone knows that the US authorities went crazy on the question of how to rip off their people with taxes and fines, if they filled out something wrong in the declaration.  So they came up with this KYC of their own.  Fortunately, not all countries are subject to the Americans. There are also countries who spit on their demands.  And their territories may well host crypto casinos where no KYC is needed and players can easily play without this stupid verification.  And besides, there are many more scammers in the simple dollar payments sector, and not in the cryptocurrency sector.  And all these are fairy tales and legends that cryptocurrency is only for money laundering and for scammers.  It is the banking lobbies that spread such advertising, scaring ordinary people.
And it's understandable why.  To get more loans and mortgages.  And, accordingly, more income for bankers.
Better if they can make exceptions and that is they should only accept centralized cryptos if KYC is one of their requirements before a person can gamble on them, so that people won't bash them as we think this is contradicting to the true purpose of decentralized cryptos which is to offer anonymity and free from control.

I am glad that there are still countries who are against with the US idea about KYC but I am afraid these countries will soon be threatened out by the US and then the no KYC casino that they have created will be shut down. Better watch out for this possibility or always stay updated about the news that your casino is giving to avoid losing your funds.
2146  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺 wild.io 🎰 Wheel of Fortune 🎁 Daily Rewards 🔥 10 Minutes Cashouts on: January 26, 2023, 10:18:03 AM
-snip- What's wrong here? Is it happening for me only or for all new users who have just registered an account? -snip-
I also registered and got an email from wild.io after a minute or two. Everything worked for me without any problems. Maybe it's because of your e-mail provider that he isn't supported. But only wild.io can answer this question.  Smiley
I'm using gmail and I believe most people use it and no casinos against gmail as long as my experience.
Yes, there is a live support, I'll try to ask live support and hopefully they can resolve my issue fast.
I tried the resend email 4 times, so I've tried 4 different email verification links but all not working for me.
Btw thanks for your info, so I can say that it must be an issue for me only.
Yes, I use Gmail for a very long time now and I also use it for all the gambling sites that I use. I have no problems with it so far. All gambling mails are received except only if there is a problem with the gambling site but I always contact their support if that problems occur and they will do their best to help me.

Hopefully, your issues will also be fixed but in the meantime, maybe you can just copy the link that you get in your email and then paste it manually on some of the browsers you have. Let see if that works for you because this trick already worked for me. I got this idea by the way from one of the gambling mails that I got in the past.
2147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: January 25, 2023, 09:42:22 PM
Even though we can't control it, we have to keep trying so we don't lose control when playing gambling. When someone loses control of the gambling game, he will also lose his money faster than he can imagine and this has happened to many people, including us. And as long as we can control the game and ourselves, we will not do things that can harm ourselves, let alone lose a lot of money in gambling, because we will stop before all the money runs out.
The suggestions and advice that you have given are quite good and useful for every gambler.
However, I myself have never found and seen with my own eyes about gamblers who are able to control themselves and stop playing before their money has disappeared by a large amount.
I have also said several times that it is difficult for gamblers to be able to control their games and emai when playing a game or betting because curiosity and the desire to win a game always comes to mind as a gambler, even I experienced it myself.
Indeed we can stop but only for a moment and after that we will continue to play and bet.
But I think each of us already knows this. It only takes a common sense unless if that person still doesn't have that. If so then he is not a normal person anymore. If we are serious on quitting our addiction then we will try even though we know that it seems impossible but there are some who didn't try anymore because they like the feeling of being an addict.

This is bad but what can we do? They choose this path so let them suffer and face their consequences later on. We stop for a while and then return after some time but that was better than not stopping at all. That is what you call a rest. It is essential and only shows that you are still a healthy.
2148  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Amazing Gambling-DeFi System on: January 25, 2023, 06:14:03 PM
I don't need to go more further about this site but I am sensing something phishy about it, any platform that will requires participants to connect their wallet is at a very high risk. Btw, what are the trust level to ask users to connect their wallet to the platform, is there no other methods for someone to join if I may ask?
It is said to be a De-Fi kind of casino so what do we expect here? That's how De-Fi platform works. There is no sign-up process but you will only need to connect your web-3 based wallet and you're good to go. It's only advisable to use a disposable if you are dealing on a new site because we don't know what they are up to.

Just completely avoid sites which forces you to paste your own private keys or 12-word seed phrases on them because that is a scam for sure. I am afraid there are no other methods to join on their casino but if you don't like this kind of set-up then you better stick on the common ones that we have or on those centralize casinos.
2149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 10:08:50 PM
Doesn't make any difference anymore when one is already addicted whether it's a physical casino or online casino, he will find a way to gamble. He may just ask friends to come over and play cards with him.

It is just the craving that urges the addict to do it. If I wanted to I can actually go to a nearby gambling community right behind the house of billard in the corner. I once saw 4 men playing cards in the corner, I'm pretty sure there are more of them.
I think it depends on the gambler. If he is fortunate enough and then has a service (car) and he has the money to gas it up then he can always travel no matter how far that gambling place was. For those are less fortunate, the rise of the online casino is a big help for them to feed their desires/addiction.

An addicted gambler do also have a favourite game so I don't think they can just look for an alternative or substitute once their games aren't available or there are hindrances from going into a casino. Those who only got addicted on card games are lucky because they can just buy a card and gather their friends on their homes. No need to travel or play online.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First thing i will do if Bitcoin become legal tender globally on: January 24, 2023, 06:08:32 PM
I do not think that I would do much differently. I mean if it was legal tender in my nation, then I would pay things with bitcoin instead of fiat, that's for sure, but the rest would be the same.

Right now, I spend my salary as little as I could, and save my money to keep it in bitcoin, and that means if I end up with a legal tender society, I would simply just not turn my bitcoins into fiat, will keep them in bitcoin and will go on living like that as long as I possibly could. That's not really a huge change from where I am today though, it is something that I would highly suggest doing even today if you can pay anything with bitcoin, then you should but aside from that it's not a big change.
2151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to be great? Then be ready to learn. on: January 24, 2023, 04:56:03 PM
Ignorance should never be an excuse.
Learn and equip yourself so your next 5 years self will be proud of you.
Indeed. It's not an excuse because we have the option to educate ourselves first before trying to invest in Bitcoin or in any investment opportunity that comes our way. This is the problem of some investors who engaged themselves in Bitcoin because of hype, advertisement or someone encourage them to join the ride. If you blindly invest without knowledge of what you're doing then there's a possibility for you to commit mistakes resulting to losses.

If you missed the chance before, it's not yet late to invest now. But before that give yourself time to learn because that's your stepping stone to succeed as an investor.
Investing is not easy even though many people think and say it is so proper knowledge is needed first so that we won't just burn money. Not only that but it can also tax our physical and mental health if we can not handle the situation that we are facing after a heavy loss.

I won't blame those BTC advertisement that we see anywhere because after you try what they offering, I am sure that they also offer information about bitcoin. They also care about those who will try and they are not only thinking about themselves, except only from those ponzis of course because they are the ones who use false information to attract people to join on them.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 23, 2023, 08:20:30 PM
I happen to get this Royal flush a decade ago  Grin and not with a casino but in a neighborhood friendly gambling game table.  Playing poker with 5 people, I got Royal flush and as agreed, the winning bet is doubled making other people pay extra amount to the winner which is me  Grin.  I never had experienced to get that hand again and the most I can get is the straight flush but it is in a very rare occasion.
Now I am convinced that its really hard to get one Cheesy. I never got one myself but I am not disappointed because I am only playing for fun and I don't expect anything like winning or getting some rare combinations but for someone who is a perfectionist then may not give up on trying. If needed, they can be able to sacrifice a lot of money and time only to get this.

If its done offline and one have skills on shuffling cards, I think they can be able to pull this royal flush too often. We just want to make sure that our opponents isn't attentive enough to watch our hands but if we are playing online, it can be hard because sometimes the game can be rigged.
2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 23, 2023, 06:39:40 PM
I have been expecting Lampard to get sacked for a while now, and I think that should be it for him. I understand that he had some good seasons before, but he is proven time and time again that he is not a great manager and better managers could be found anywhere in the world, if you still think that he is a good manager then I am sorry but you are wrong.

Everton was the last nail in the coffin, and I would not want anyone to hire him, but if anyone ever does, I hope it's a team that my team is rivalled against lol. To be fair bad seasons happens and look at Klopp now, just because Liverpool is bad, does it mean he is a bad manager? Of course not, but Lampard has been bad for a while now.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 23, 2023, 05:52:20 PM
It's the "name" of the company that's KYC'ed imo , not the team behind it. They register under a government and I reckon said government reviews documents that they passed and basically allows the casino to exist after checking whether there's some bad rep or not in the casino. They are scared, trust me, and that's why they do KYC. Otherwise they would've just let them fuck off and not do KYC since they for sure know that their users hate KYC themselves.
Interesting but If it's only the name of the company then that means the members of that company can still run away if they have done something inappropriate but there are really a crypto project who has a doxxed team however this doesn't removed the fact that they can't turned bad anymore. We already have many cases about it. What happened with do kwoon and SBF are a few of it. Not all customers hate KYC and that is why there are still platforms who take the risk and require a KYC.

This is better than if their company won't look legal to the governments. So those who hate KYC and only plays on a non-KYC casino should be wary of that because the platform can be shut down at anytime if ever they are spotted by the governments.
2155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 23, 2023, 10:58:35 AM
None of us like to lose. But we cannot win by ignoring the loss. Gamblers who research these issues carefully usually want to put their money into bets that are relatively low risk. Whether the odds 1.01 or 1.02 or smaller, these bets are low risk. As the rate of return is low, the risk is also low that is thought by some gamblers. Even if there is a low probability of loss the match but if it is happen then one have face big lose economically. As the OP mentioned.

A gambler should not take big risks. He can only bet as much money as he can afford to lose. It should be remembered that winning in gambling is uncertain. So win and loss both should be accepted.
If we don't like to lose then we shouldn't play gambling at all. Gambling is a very risky activity so we must only be able to use money within our capacity and don't be like the guy here in our topic.

Maybe the guy underestimates the other team and he also sees that the odd is super low so he thinks this was an easy win but then as stated in the story the other team make an epic comeback, making that team win and then the guy loses his bet. Taking huge risk doesn't only mean betting for higher odds but it also has to do with the the amount that we are betting. If we bet high than is consider as high risk no matter what odds you are betting at.
2156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 22, 2023, 09:12:49 PM
I think that Marseille will be winning against monaco too.
Marseille may be more favored when facing Monaco. but at the moment Monaco is also not a weak team. they are just below Marseille.
Monaco also got some positive results in the last few matches. I don't think they will be very easy to beat by Marseille.
after a pretty big win against a team in the relegation zone, I think Monaco has good confidence going into the game against Marseille.
Clearly Monaco having better record against Marseille in their games but with current form there is no doubt this could be not easy game for the both clubs because right now these both are having good performance in their games and quality is also at his best which is surely good for the both teams but in case Marseille won this match points gape could be widened from third to fourth spot and this could be not good for the Monaco because they need to be in touch for the higher rank and this is possible only in case of having good results against Marseille in this game.

Marseille is surely giving their best after the break and with this performance now they are at the third spot and Monaco which was struggling now having fourth spot but in case of lost they can drop and Rennes can replace them at the fourth spot which could be not good for them.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 22, 2023, 07:22:22 PM
If you take your time to read thoroughly, you'll see that I never said or made predictions of  Chelsea winning the league this season. They'll get a chance against Borrussia Dortmund but the next meeting ? Believe me they'll be back home to struggle for top four.
I only said, Chelsea winning the Champions League against Manchester City last two seasons will be my biggest shock in the Champions League.

It'll probably take Chelsea like another ten years before they get to win the Champions League once again. My tips would still be either of Manchester City and Parisans League 1 defending Champions.
I do not agree about this Chelsea needs another ten years to win the Champions League because now soccer is very quickly changing and things are having faster than our imagination no one was thinking Newcastle United and Manchester United will be able to fight for the top ranks in English League but right now these both are at the third and fourth spot because they have better coaching and good amount to invest on quality players so same rule apply in case of Chelsea as they are spending amount even having not positive change, but surely things will be changed, and they will be able to have results like Arsenal in near future.

In this season, most chances they will be out of the competition in quarterfinal because things are not favourable for them and they are trying to adjust their winning unit which is taking time and Graham Potter is positive with the support of management to have good change in near future.
2158  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: January 22, 2023, 06:55:51 PM
I think this is because of inflation, and inflation is a general increase in the price of goods and services in a country at this time, the inflation data in the United States shows a decrease which has an impact on the increase in the price of bitcoin and the value of the dollar weakens.
But keep in mind that this does not guarantee that bitcoin will experience a significant increase in the future, because The Fed (Central Bank of the United States) will release inflation data again on February 1, 2023.
therefore, it is also necessary to pay attention to the latest data to be released by the Fed, and to be able to predict bitcoin price movements more accurately.
and another reason maybe because there are many new investors or users who don't want to be left behind or FOMO, but the increase that occurs will make many people believe in bitcoin even though there will always be a decrease. And this is what will scare those who end up panicking when the downturn comes back, and they should know because bitcoin is going to be much more profitable in the long run and it's the best option.
If a decrease in the rate of the inflation means a decrease in the price of the goods then cryptos must also be decreasing now and not rising because cryptos can also be considered as a goods but there are still other possible reasons for the increase that we feel lately.

A few of them would be the exposure of BTC in the miss universe pageant and then the authorities have recovered 5 billion dollars worth of crypto to SBF. I might miss something but you guys can follow it up. A decrease in the rate of the inflation is still a good thing for us if we are talking about the life outside. At last or at least, people can now feel a little relief even if it won't last a long time.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 22, 2023, 05:51:10 PM
The result against cadiz will be boosting the morality of the players. Sevilla will be waking up again. It was getting some good results. Sevilla has been leaving from the relegation zone. Cadiz seems back again to the relegation zone after it has bee beaten by sevilla. A poor team like cadiz may be relegated at the end of season. No chance for cadiz to leave from the bottom place if the team didn't do good improvements. Sevilla has been dominating the match. Im not feeling doubt if cadiz was losing against sevilla at this moment. Cadiz must try to work even harder to leave from the relegation zone as soon as possible. It's in a urgent situation.
90th minute Rakitic goal from penalty was enough to give them three points and coming out of the relegation zone which was needed because now things looking worse for them, and they need to have changed in their performance now in next week they are going to have another easy match against Elche which is at the bottom of league table and not won any game in this season, but this can give full three points to Sevilla, and they could be in better zone for the sometime which will give them good confidence and boost in performance for staying positive for next games as well.

Cadiz is also having not good time and in last season they were lucky to stay in La Liga but now in this season most chances they could be relegated because their performance and quality is not competing in this level, and they are having too many defense issues as well.
2160  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 22, 2023, 02:41:00 PM
Side income is for people who do not have a proper job. You either own your job, or you work at a place that pays you well enough that you do not need it. If you both work, and it's also not enough which is very common in the current world then you have to improve yourself or just simply change your job. I have a job that I work, it's not my own job, but I like it as if it's my own job and I have to say that 24 hours a day is not enough for me to keep working, I could work even more if I had the time.

If I ever needed a side job then it means I am not earning enough from my job, and in reality it's the contrary, I could work even more and earn even more but I don't have the time for it. Find a job like mine.
