1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 23, 2023, 03:30:50 PM
Going through the thread, I found that alot of contributions has been made to remove Op's doubt. Still, they're multiple means to determine the legitimacy of an online casino, which this forum is also a better place to discover genuine online casinos. However, most of the members may not have been used by the entire forum users that's where casino review sites helps newbies or new users of a specific casino to know what actually happens in the casino before playing on the casino. You can check for user complaints too, anywhere even on the site or off the site. Casinomeister is also a better place to research for any online casino that you don't feel comfortable with the reviews you got from this forum.
A review website for casinos or any service can be helpful but only if the person who is posting the reviews is honest with them. I say that because most of the reviews that we see these days are basically not honest about the service or the platform and are simply paid reviews that are represented as honest reviews to the general public.

Most influencers do that too, they take money for doing a review since it's a kind of business and a way for them to make money, they just make a positive review about a platform without even knowing anything about it even if it's a scam or untrusted one in the back end.
1642  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: April 23, 2023, 12:28:30 PM
I'm sure there are a lot of online cryptocurrency casino out there which are reputable even though they did not introduced their company here. But it is also my preference to play on casinos which are widely known here in Bitcointalk.
I suppose that is the case, but am I willing to take that risk when so many good casinos are advertising here? Most certainly not as I simply do not have the need to take that risk, which help us understand why so many casinos eventually try to make their presence felt here on the forum, as forum members and those which read it can afford to not use those casinos, while casinos cannot really afford to not try to convince those very same users to try their casino, and finally they may take the decision to advertise here.
Since this is a forum created initially for Bitcoin and is now for all cryptocurrencies in general, almost all the cryptocurrency casinos or gambling platforms are available on the forum, and there are some which aren't available or introduced here, they probably are not that popular among the crypto gambling community.

I personally wouldn't mind playing at a casino that is old and has been serving the community for quite some time with no issues at all but only if they have a provably-fair system for me to verify the bets initially just to have peace of mind.
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I found my financial success in Bitcoin 1 year on: April 22, 2023, 08:18:30 PM
Having such success in a single year is great, considering the last year has been terrible, it's even better to think about how you have gone high and did well. I know that many people ended up not believing it could be done ,so this is a proof that it can be done. As long as you keep buying when it is low and you end up selling when it goes up (or even holding) that means you are going to be in profit.

Too many people avoid that simple mindset and they try to get rich quick and those people are the ones that are losing at this moment. If you do not do that and if you end up focusing on just the long term and the fact that it crashes sometimes so you can buy and for you to sell, then I would guess that it would be a better profit for you in a year.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you agree with ChatGPT on the club that might win the premier League? on: April 22, 2023, 06:30:05 PM
If you have used ChatGPT, the old and free version, you need to understand that it provides outdated information since the data it has is already outdated and it doesn't have access to any data that is recent, and for that feature, you will need to buy their subscription which will provide you access to the latest version of ChatGPT called GPT-4.

It will be interesting if someone does a comparison between both free and paid versions of the AI model and post the results here for us to see. The paid version will probably provide a more accurate answer since it has access to the recent data available on the internet.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for paying online casinos for refer on: April 22, 2023, 06:09:45 PM
Well, I can't say less, you're right, here who wins is who has friends and who are friends who like games of chance a lot, apart from that the pocket does not Tremble when making deposits and playing in a casino, I think that This type of friends is what is needed to have good tickets for affiliate or referral bonuses, as far as I'm concerned I have few friends who are like this, and those who are like this do not trust crypto, which is quite complicated because The work gets harder, first that you accept the technology and second that you buy crypto and deposit, are things that sometimes require double effort.
Do they really need to trust crypto in order to gamble with it? I mean, it's not trading, they are not supposed to purchase and hold a certain coin or a token, but all they will be doing is buying, depositing and gambling with a certain cryptocurrency and whenever they need to withdraw, they can easily exchange it back to their local currency with a P2P trading platform.

Gambling doesn't require them to trust the technology or cryptocurrencies in general, it is just that cryptocurrency gambling platforms are more convenient than traditional gambling platforms and you should be able to make them understand this.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 22, 2023, 05:10:32 PM
GPT this, GPT that. If yoou take a good look at chatGPT you'll notice that those in-charge of the project didn't even promote it that much it was you and I that helped them in the promotion the same way we are also promoting it with this thread of yours, yeah, I know that's nto the aim of this thread but just take a secinds to think about it.

As for the Op itself, I don't think it's going to be a easy task to get it to do something like that remember that poker is not like football where you can already analyse the whole game based on the individual players of a team, since poker is a game of skills it will be difficult but if we're just basing it on amatuers as you mentioned then it migth become doable.
Those in charge of the project didn't even need to promote it much since they created something that deserved to be liked and spread around the world without much promotion. ChatGPT is a useful tool and it didn't just break the record of applications or software or services from big tech companies of gaining 1 million users within a span of 5 days for nothing.

When there is a technology or a creation that deserves appreciation, we should show some appreciation for that.
To OP, I don't really think ChatGPT is made for that and it will probably still not be able to beat humans even if you train it with all the game data available on the internet.
1647  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 22, 2023, 02:39:11 PM
I would certainly would like to see ChatGPT to play poker with amateurs based on a learning sample of masters and see how it plays out. I am pretty sure it can beat most of the for-fun players and perhaps some of the semi-pros. It is a game of calculation, patterns and chance and there is a method to it. I think an AI would be perfectly suited to exploit it. Hint hint.
Though I don't believe that ChatGPT can actually beat human players even if it's trained for that based on the hands or the results of the previously played games by experts, there will be the need for a custom version of it that will totally be based on that particular data and will be trained only to play poker, it isn't possible to do that with the existing version if you are talking about the free version.

I have not used the paid version and I'm not sure about its limitations but the free version has got some limitations and cannot be fed data amounting to too big. I also would love to see the outcomes of that if someone does that for an experiment.
1648  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 21, 2023, 08:24:33 PM
For me it's a no, I can't bet on an AI horse because it can be manipulated behind the scene, even with real horses some big powerful people use strength injections, I don't know the real names, on the horses before a race, and there have been many dirty secrets revealed in horse racing games, those secrets get revealed because it's real horses and humans, compare it to AI horses, it will be hard to know that it's been manipulated. The idea is brilliant but I doubt it can be perfected without many flaws, I will love to see such a thing turning into reality.
It will be better if they can be audited by a third party so that we are sure that all games are fair. I think that AI based games are being exposed the most than the live games because they are just based on software and someone that is good at computers or so called hackers can access the game and check if there are anomalies going on.

People behind the live games are making sure that the cheating won't be noticeable if ever they are planning to cheat the game because the whole world is watching them and the consequences are heavier than the online gambling. If it's the first time then expect that there are still flaws but their devs are always going to fix it.
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 21, 2023, 07:49:05 PM
Disbelief, panic selling, FUD, there are a lot of factors that cause a stop on the market whenever it tries to rise up in value, and it's demand that makes the price go up of something, whether it's Bitcoin, another cryptocurrency or anything in general if there are a lot of people having money demanding to buy it, the price will eventually go up.

So for Bitcoin to stay bullish, there will need to be constant demand in the market which doesn't happen, people start getting frustrated and sell when they don't see much movement, and the demand only increases when there is a little movement, otherwise, people just wait for the right moment in order to buy.
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: April 21, 2023, 06:42:10 PM
I do believe that they fall down hard during this bear run because most of them showed their hand, that's the main reason. During the bull run period they shared stuff with promotion so they made some money but at the end of the day investors mostly made money too, if they failed here and there, they made it back with others and that was their "in", they convinced people that way.

But, during the bear market they kept doing the same thing and the result was much worse, people did not trust them and saw that they just got money from promotions and sold them out. Which is why there are a ton of influencers who are no longer influencers and they became aggressive about it as well and caused a ton of trouble as well.
1651  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: April 21, 2023, 05:53:10 PM
Well, it's probably easier said than done, someone who doesn't have any money at all to eat food or feed their family will definitely look for a way to get some money and will not think of investing the money that they may get when they or their family is hungry, the very first thing that comes in your mind when you have nothing is the belongings that you can use to get some money.

And that is always done out of desperation and not for a desire or anything. I know that one can earn money if they make investments, but this rule doesn't apply on those who doesn't have any money to spare and all they get is just used to spend their lives.
1652  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: April 21, 2023, 02:56:40 PM
Some casinos definitely cheat in creative ways in order to make sure that their business stays in profit overall, but they are part of the minority these days thanks to all the licensing authorities, anti-cheat protocols etc.

This kind of stuff just adds an extra layer of risk on top of all the risks involved with gambling.

These issues are usually prevalent in new and small casinos for obvious reasons. This is why research is crucial before investing in any casino(Online and Offline).
Do you really think that the licensing authorities check every casino registered with them to see if they are cheating their players or not internally? There is no chance for that, they are probably too busy with other stuff and don't really investigate a casino internally unless there are so many complaints received, I'm not even sure if they give any attention to user complaints or not.

If a casino is cheating their players with techniques such as the one described by OP, it's only the players that can make a change for it if they come to know about it, they can boycott the casino and spread the word around so that everyone else does that too.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 19, 2023, 05:09:21 PM
I was honestly not well informed with slot machines, but I experienced them with our family visits to casinos. Thanks to OP for a suggestion to change machine if it doesn't hit rewards in 5-10 games. It can be beneficial to return money and even put more on top of it. I feel like most people including me would keep playing on same machine after losing many many times. Its bit about unlucky person mentality. When I get unlucky I become unstable and stubborn which makes me lose even more.
I believe everyone tends to have mood swings when they are having a very bad gambling session which means they are losing constantly without any proper wins or any hopes for recovering any of the money they've lost, and it happens to everyone and not just a specific group of people, emotions do get changed in situations like that.

About changing the slot machine when losing, I don't think that 10 to 15 spins is enough time given to a machine just to check if you can get a win through it or not, if you are betting with the minimum available amount, you should at least give it 50 spins minimum to see if you hit any multipliers or not and then decide if you want to switch or not.
1654  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 19, 2023, 04:35:12 PM
What screenshot are you talking about in particular?
Cus after reading your comment, I've gone to the first page to check the two screenshot the op posted in his first post. And I found no where it was written that the op should review the casino on any forum and get rewarded, if you think I am missing something here, (which I want to believe I am for now), then please point me to the particular shot you are talking about..

But then again, even if the website said so, I still do not believe that op does not have any relation with the site, owning a website gives you access to everything on it, it cost nothing for op to login to the database of the site and update the site with that information, so as to have something to defend himself with after reading all the comment here accusing him of being the owner of the site.
It's about this screenshot: https://ibb.co/xC5CrCf
He shared it here, and it clearly shows that he is asked to actually do a review in any public forum and he chose to do it on this forum. He is probably not being backed up or anything and no one specifically say that he is not related to the casino or anything, it's just about what might be true as well.

If he is actually somehow related to the casino and its team and is only here to promote the casino this way, it would probably be better for the team to properly announce the platform in the forum and they could possibly get a lot of active users from here.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 19, 2023, 03:31:50 PM
Nothing beats the rush of blood and excitement that comes with betting on live games. It's just different that way. Fantasy sports could be exciting too, given the fact that for most of them you are given the power to choose which player you'd be picking, but the fact that you're in there, witnessing every single moment unfold in front of you is what makes live betting games more exhilarating and a better enjoyable experience, if you're a gambler that's in it for the thrill and enjoyment. Otherwise of course you'd pick the less stressful one which is fantasy sports.
Who says that fantasy sports are less stressful? I think it's easier to predict the outcome of a match directly than having to pick players and create your fantasy team to gain points and climb up the leaderboard in order to win rewards. I find fantasy leagues to be more challenging and difficult since most of the players competing are experienced.

In sports betting, there is no competition, you just pick a winner, if you are knowledgeable and experienced, you will know you placed your bet right, but when you are in a fantasy league, you are competing with the best, and it's really difficult to beat them to become the winner.
1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz see it as 10,000 BTC or as $41? on: April 19, 2023, 11:52:00 AM
I believe that Laszlo saw his 10,000 bitcoin as $41 and not as 10,000 BTC.
What Laszlo did will remain forever in the history of bitcoin but of course he had to look also at the USD value because, whether we like it or not, we need a reference to decide the value of a certain item. He could've offered 5,000 BTC for those 2 pizzas but then who and why would someone have accepted? And let's not forget that he just wanted to prove that you could use bitcoin to buy something real, just like you'd do with cash, so I don't think that relevant at all at the end.
Yes, because if not because of him, I think BTC will struggle to be adopted. He did check the value of BTC first. The owner of those pizza checked it as well to be sure that the deal is fine and the pizza owner won't lose. 10k BTC or 20.50 USD for 2 boxes of pizza is still a great deal that time so I am sure any pizza owner will bite it as long as they know or laszlo himself educate them if where they can trade the Bitcoin because it wasn't that famous that time.

BTC value is measured on USD or other local currencies so those who engage in Bitcoin will see or total the number of Bitcoins they have to their local currency unless if local currencies will be gone one day and will be replaced by just Bitcoin.
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 19, 2023, 11:02:00 AM
One thing I normally do before I get registered on platforms is to take out time to read through the terms and conditions applied irrespective of the give away bonuses or anything else to hold onto for more clarification. Most times these bonuses are just to get at unsuspecting participants to get registered and once they do, boom ! They are back to their initial plans of ripping out people through their cons.  OP should have read through the terms and conditions before jumping in and making deposit. These are the Minor mistakes made in respect to getting onboard a platform as a result of bonuses and give away without reading through to know the clause involved in the give away and bonuses.
That's exactly what everyone should do if they really care about their money and don't want to give up on them. We all understand that if a casino advertises something but doesn't follow it, it's their fault, but can we actually do even if it's their mistake? We can do nothing except making complains or creating accusations against them.

So the only and the best solution to not getting into such issues is simply to read the terms and conditions of a casino right at the time of registration or just before you are about to make a deposit with them to gamble.
1658  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone remember trueflip.io casino? on: April 18, 2023, 06:34:34 PM
I had never heard of that casino. What are the advantages of the casino for now? And with no news from that casino, we shouldn't try to play at that casino because we already have other better casinos even though the casino might still be operating today.

If the casino is still active today after conducting an ICO in 2017, the owner or representative of the casino should continue to promote it in this forum. By doing that, they can get attention from people and even develop the casino. But maybe they have other plans and we'll see if they come back or stay that way.
I am not really sure as to why they are not active on social media anymore, but the casino is still operating and is probably actively updated considering the fact that they have all the games from all new and old games providers and the site also shows that it's under the use of Casbit Group N.V, in the header section with mentioned year being 2023.

They even got a license and are probably asking their customers for KYC too, but I wonder if they are not actively promoting their casino, how do they have any active gamblers still after so many years? That's a question no one can answer except for their support, I believe.
1659  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 18, 2023, 01:40:41 PM
Not just that the casino in question does not have an announcement thread on this forum, but op also said in one of his comments that the casino itself suggested to him to review them(the casino) on this forum for extra pay - 😂, how foolish can the rep of this casino be for asking a user to review their casino on a forum where they don't even have an announcement thread, op himself is a big fool to believe that we will believe such a gullible story.
Well, basically if you see the screenshot that OP has shared, they didn't specifically ask him to review the site on this forum, but they suggested that he does it on any public forum and he will get $5 for each referral that he gets which means he probably needed to post his referral link or tell users to sign up using his link, it's probably how they have programmed their referral program structure.

OP might be telling the truth that he is not related to the website because everyone here is doubting him for promoting the casino without having an ANN while the casino has asked him to post a review in any forum and OP chose this one himself.
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: April 18, 2023, 12:22:39 PM
The five-day Test match between Sri Lanka and Ireland ended three days ago. Ireland could not score as many runs as Sri Lanka scored in the first innings in the second innings. By batting 2 innings, Ireland have been defeated by Sri Lanka by 280 runs.

Ireland fell f/o to Sri Lanka in the second innings. Sri Lanka scored 591 runs in one innings and declared the match.  Later, when Ireland came down to bat in the first innings, they lost all their wickets and collected only 143 runs.Later, when Sri Lanka again invited them to bat, Ireland came down to bat in the second innings and were all out for 168 runs.

Prabath Jayasuriya excellent bowling Ireland's batsmen were disoriented. He took a total of ten wickets in 2 innings while his wicket count was seven in the first innings itself.
Prabath Jayasuriya was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance.
31 years old Prabath Jayasuriya takes 10 wickets for his team which allow them for destroying minor Irish in just three days in first test at Galle and won this match by big margin even this was expected before start this match but Ireland gone down badly in batting at this surface which was helpful for the spinners and Sri Lankan batsmen take good advantage of winning toss and have big targeted.

Now we will have same result in second test as well because we can't expect improvement in just few days from Irish batsmen on this surface under these conditions but still good experience for them which will help them for improving quality.
