1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: June 06, 2023, 04:00:52 PM
I want to believe that most of the google ads we see flying around on the internet are not exactly "pay per click" kind of ad, otherwise, there won't be so many platforms integrating google ads on their platforms, which YouTube just happens to be one of those platforms, from what I know people hardly click on online ads this day, so I think the platform where the ad are hosted still her paid, whether the ads is clicked on not, as long as it was viewed by users.
I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that websites that are approved by AdSense to place ads get paid a certain amount even if the ads are not clicked but if they are clicked, they get paid extra, or maybe they don't get paid if the ads are not interacted with at all. But about YouTube ads, I believe account holders get paid based on how many hours of ads have been watched so even if the ads are skipped, there are ads that cannot be skipped and you get paid for those if you are a content creator of YouTube.

Though it looks like people don't click ads at all, that's not entirely true. If this was true, this business model would never be this much successful. The thing is, every person who is interested in something will interact with an ad that shows up related to their interest.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 06, 2023, 12:19:38 PM
A lot of people use gambling as an escape from something else.... and if the gambling goes wrong, then they see no future. If you have debt, do not try to get out of the debt, by using gambling.... it is not profitable for most people.  Roll Eyes

Also, if you have depression ... rather go and seek help... do not dive deeper into a dark pit of despair by trying gambling to cheer you up. Losing a lot of money is not going to get you out of that situation.
I've heard this a lot but I don't understand how gambling can be a cure for depression, I know that there are games that you can play which are multiplayer where you can make friends, chat with others while playing and do a lot of other things to cheer yourself up and this kind of games can help you get out of depression or a similar situation, but I don't see how spending money on gambling can be a solution at all.

And it's true that a lot of people try to use gambling as a way to pay their debts and what mostly happens when they fail is they keep taking loans from other places only to pay the previous loans when they are about to default and that gets them stuck in this even more.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake support? on: June 06, 2023, 05:11:05 AM
I don't see why this would be a fake move, and even if they don't like cryptocurrency but still accepting or allowing it because they want to stay ahead of their rivals, this is still a good thing for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general because China is one of the most powerful countries. They might have taken the step to beat the US in the crypto movement as you said since they are not really on good terms with the USA right now.

Hong Kong has been crypto-friendly for some time now, and a lot of people are benefitting from it, if China tries, it can surely become a bigger hub for crypto than Hong Kong considering it has a way higher population than Hong Kong.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees are too high, obstacle for adoption and in general on: June 05, 2023, 07:02:45 PM
I'm not sure what you are talking about, Bitcoin transaction fees are not as high as you are saying at the moment, you will barely have to pay $3 or something for the priority transaction if you are using the lightning network and for the lowest fees it is just a few cents per transaction. We know that the network gets congested sometimes but that is not the case right now.

The scalability issue will surely be solved if it's seen to be too much of an issue in the future but for now, the network does pretty well in normal times, it is only a few occasions when transaction fees go very high just like what happened recently.
1465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: June 05, 2023, 06:25:10 PM
There’s always this kind of toxic people that wants to earn money from cheating instead of having a decent job to earn salary. This cheater most of the time are those too lazy to work that’s why they rely only on casino promotion loopholes on and benefit on it.

Blackjack.fun is the only casino that I know that offers a daily reward for tournaments, airdrop on chat and 20% to 70% rakeback plus cash back on their separate promotion for whales. This features is like a fire that always catch the attention of moth cheaters in the casino.

I hope they will return instant withdrawal in the future because having a manual withdrawal is really a big turn off on gambling.
I think it's quite important to realize that online world and anonymity does this to people, and we are going to face this with or without crypto. I remember very very clearly about 10 years ago when crypto wasn't big at all, there were tons of people trying to do this as well, they used fake debit cards or paypal or whatever as instead of crypto, this just gave another layer basically.

It is casinos job to overcome all of this because it will not end, sometimes it will be more public and more loud, sometimes it will be less and quiet as well, but it will never be zero, there will always be these type of people who try to get rich quick by going around the rules and when they get caught they are going to make a big scene like they were in the right.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 05, 2023, 05:45:15 PM
I've done it so many times but the problem is that the people that I invite is not interested on it but I am not disappointed. I am glad actually that I've been surrounded by good people who don't have a bad habit such as gambling. There is nothing wrong about your preference @OP if you like to bring gamblers more than the investors. Both activities have risks anyway and I am sure people are not dumb enough to not know it.

It still up to us if we will educate them further but id say it is a must so that they will have a confidence and they won't feel bad about their selves or to you. Since you are already there referring people to gamble, why won't you just use your own referral link on the gambling site you play? It should earn you great profits in case they became really active.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC holders, do not reveal your identity online on: June 05, 2023, 03:16:00 PM
There is basically no evidence of who and why this happened to Dr. John apart from the fact that his mobile and laptop were used and left in the car and if they were only after the money they would probably take the wallet, mobile, and laptop with them but they left these things behind, so might have accessed his wallets or other applications and taken the money away, but I doubt if they could really get their hands on them unless they first tortured him and made him open his accounts containing cryptocurrencies and money.

This is too unfortunate and people should obviously not disclose their wealth whether it's in crypto or fiat, a millionaire should never roam around like that knowing people know that he has a lot of money.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: June 05, 2023, 12:06:59 PM
although the competition is very fierce in the gambling industry, but if the casino already has a lot of customers as well as one of the biggest casinos I don't think it is necessary to carry out promotions that spend too much money to attract the attention of new customers. because if the casino has become big, of course it will be enough to do advertisements, of course, people out there will already recognize that the casino is very big and trusted, so there is no doubt thinking about any risks.
except for the things you mentioned are done by small casinos that have to compete with casinos that are already big.
That should be doing by those casino owners but what I've noticed is the more the customer they have the bigger their promotion or advertisment to attract gambler in them . I thing youve seen also a lot of big time casino that still paying influencers or putting their names into big games or fight to attract new customer. I don't care if they still continue their promotion but they should take care of their current gambler like having perks or bonuses so that they will stay more in their platform
It is a part of their business model, they can't just sit calmly once they've got a certain amount of gamblers on their platform, they will surely strive to have more. Who doesn't like their business to grow even more even if it has grown pretty big already? If you are a business owner, your business is doing pretty well, will you stop wanting to make it earn more revenue for you? You wouldn't, and the same goes for casinos.

Take Stake.com as an example, they probably have millions of gamblers already registered with them, but they still strive to reach more and more people through advertisements, promotions, partnerships, and much more, because they want their casino to earn more revenue.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: June 04, 2023, 07:18:10 PM
If you have little money, why would you choose them over bitcoin, knowing you can't afford to lose? If you have a lot of money, why would you need to take additional risk, when you can expect bitcoin to slowly bring you the profit you need, without additional risk?
It's because the chances of turning small amounts into big amounts through altcoins is way higher when compared to BTC, ETH etc. Examples are Pepecoin, Shiba Inu etc which made some investors instant millionaires.

BTC isn't risk free either and you need to invest huge amounts in order to secure decent profits from it these days.
The chances of turning small amounts into big ones using meme coins aren't for everyone and it is not possible for every investor to become a millionaire with just a single investment, it is all about luck just like gambling. If you invest small amounts in hundreds of meme coins, maybe one of them will be able to gain enough community hype and gain significant value, otherwise, your money is gone for good.

You can't compare Bitcoin or other popular cryptocurrencies with meme coins which are basically useless tokens that depend on community hype to gain any value and without it, they will die off very soon and those who invest in them will all lose their money.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10% Cashback by paying with Bitcoin in more than 250 Shops in Lugano on: June 04, 2023, 06:14:03 PM
I never knew that Switzerland was so friendly regarding cryptocurrencies, if there are not any regulations or anything like that, I think the adoption rate will increase pretty quickly this way. Such things should be done in tourist places where tourists from all over the world come to visit those places and when they see Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies being accepted everywhere, a lot of people will surely be interested in them.

A city like Tokyo or New York City should have such things and then we will see the adoption booming for sure because these are the most busiest and crowdy cities in the world and there are always a lot of foreign people in there so it surely will be useful.
1471  Economy / Gambling / Re: THNDR Play Games to Earn Bitcoin on: June 04, 2023, 06:03:44 PM
Not bad if the user really wants to play the game regardless if it's paying or not.

Users should treat those games as e.g. killing the boredom, past time, or just the usual approach to those familiar and standard games we have known for a long. Definitely, not good for those users who really want to seriously treat these games as earning method schemes and compared them to those crypto-games in the play-to-earn industry.

Aside from that, I see these games as an upgraded form of micro earnings ways to earn Bitcoin. Aside from that, I see that those games do have cool graphics like the standard games we are seeing today and the best part is, users can earn Bitcoin. Although don't expect much.
Yeah, this was still a great time killer. It reminds us of the good old simpler times when we are still using a Nokia phone and a Gameboy. The earning part is only just an addition here. There were so many play-to-earn games invented already but most of them pays in foreign cryptos or digital currencies (non crypto). We never know the faith of those coins so it's kind a worrisome if our goal is to play to earn.

We can hardly focus in the game and it affects our performances. Being paid in Bitcoin currency is still different because it can give us a confidence. We can continue stacking our small earnings and sell them when the bull run comes for a boost.
1472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴Your Guide to Registering at ⚡ Vave.com ⚡ Crypto Casino 🔴 100 Free Spins*🔴 on: June 04, 2023, 04:18:04 AM
this might be a late greeting but welcome to the forum! btw, your casino ad on youtube has plagued my youtube ad algorithm for more than a week, just so you know if your gambling site plans to further its exposure here on the forum, you can run a signature campaign here, there are very trusted campaign manager that you can hire to run the campaign smoothly.
Yeah you're right, you are not just late but extremely late because the thread was posted in January the current year and we are now in June. That was 5 months ago. Are you away in the forum last time to not spot them?

But, anyway that's still great that you congratulate them. About the advertisement, that's pretty interesting if you see them more often lately. That shows that they are still very active to run a constant promotion although not here in the forum but your suggestion is nice about running a signature campaign here. They can also do a bounty campaign if they want to. Bounty has more coverage than the sig campaign. That should help them gain more exposure.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 03, 2023, 06:32:04 PM
Few people have been lucky enough to become filthy rich through gambling. Did these people take gambling as a form of job until they eventually became rich? We may never know though.

The best thing about gambling to keep you from being addicted is to have a trusted person who you can talk to about your gambling. It is part of being a responsible gambler.
I think most who take gambling consider it as a job and others just pure leisure and if by chance luck do hit on them, they become rich in it, though it's likely hitting a moon with stick or a rare case. I think I agree on that since most gamblers are likely keeping it on themselves and they tend to stick to the habit and they got addicted. I wonder who are in their right mind that thinks gambling is a way to have an steady income, literally it is not.
A guy once shared a story here in the forum that a person from his neighborhood won something big from gambling and it made him think that he is now going to just earn money from gambling because he won for almost three consecutive days and he thought he can do it every day, so he started living a luxurious life, even left his job only to become a full-time gambler.

Soon after, he lost everything that he had left after enjoying his life for some time and then came back to earth from his flight to the skies with happiness and he had to start asking for money from others only so that he can eat food. That is what happens when you consider gambling a source of income.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: June 03, 2023, 06:04:01 PM
even though hypnosis is the fastest way to restart someone's mind, especially a gambling addict, but I personally would not want to do that hypnosis

some people say that for the long term, hypnosis will affect someone's mind and maybe i will lose my consciousness in the long term, I'd rather fight myself to stop gambling than do hypnosis
Well, who doesn't want an illness to get cured without having to seek medical care? It is what we want all the time but when we see that our condition isn't getting better and we now need medical attention for sure, that is when we approach a professional medical specialist to treat or cure our illness because we are unable to get out of it ourselves.

The same is the thing about gambling addicts who have gone too deep into it that they cannot come out themselves since they've usually lost control of their minds, and that is the reason why they might need to go through such things only to get out of their addiction because it is causing them issues.
1475  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: June 03, 2023, 03:52:53 PM
AI are smarter than humans, that's big advantage for AI in gambling than we humans, we have emotions and feelings, AI have none, so it's easier to say that AI can easily make the right calls and this will increase the chance of winning in gambling, it's possible.

But I still have my doubt, AI makes those calling base of calculations and data (history) but this isn't the way with many online casino games, data is a no, calculation is available on very limited numbers of games, the majority of online casino games are pure game of luck, I still wonder how AI will perform here, unless it has a way to get into the casino games data and make predictions on data.
No they are not. They are only created by the humans so therefore humans are still the ones who are smarter than them but no matter how smart the human is, this is still not enough to beat the gambling house. Many have tried and yet they all fail. How much more the AI. Do you think they can do something? No, I don't really think so but they can only get lucky just like we humans do and win the bet.

It might give a false impression to someone else that they are working. Worse is they can bet big amounts above their capacity and then lose the bet this time. I just hope it won't lead to that. That is one of the disasters that an AI can cause to a human.
1476  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: June 03, 2023, 03:11:34 PM
Street gambling is generally not legal so if they operate there then how can street gambling operators be prosecuted if there is a crime committed there? Because they themselves are breaking the gambling laws. Generally, street gambling is not organized crime at that location. When a gambler conducts gambling there, others may be tricked, and if he wins big money, he may be watched by onlookers. Which is not possible in any land base casino. Generally, street gambling involves gambling with relatively small amounts of money, which does not cause much trouble.
You're right that street gambling isbbot regulated by anyone because each gambler is free to do what he likes and can go to any length doing what they like, though it depends on the settings in some specific location where this kind of gambling is being practiced and the kind of gamblers involved, but i will like to admit that those in the locality where street gambling is predominant likes it that way because they enjoyed it base on the level they were in the remote areas.
I think there are street gambling which are regulated. They are more fair and safe to play. There are usually located at the crowded areas or in downtown but local street gambling or the ones that can only be found on our backyard are the ones who are not regulated and they are kinda illegal so we must only play on them at our own risk.

Both types have their own set or rule or the rule can also depend on the game but I wouldn't say that a gambler can do anything that they like. There are some people who enjoy street gambling no matter whether it is regulated or not but some only play on the regulated ones. When they are confident, they have nothing to worry so their enjoyment is at its fullest.
1477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: June 03, 2023, 11:36:40 AM
The main thing is that the casino or other gambling services meet the requirements of honesty in the conditions. What difference does it make web2 or web3 if the casino has an open source and is accredited by programmers who see that the chances of winning are fair?
I think that such conditions are enough to safely play in an online casino.
Exactly, Web3 casino have a license to operate while they are just using a 3rd party provider for their games is audited and license too by gambling regulator. A pure decentralised casino is not in demand that much since centralized casino already move forward on the legality compared before that most casino do exit scam since they have nothing to lose because the owner is a complete anonymous.

Centralized casino is operating for so long without a problem or known serious scam accusations that doesn't solved. I doubt decentralized casino can beat that considering the games offered on web3 casino is very plain and simple.
I think it was the Web2 casinos are the ones who usually has a License but Web3's are like a Decentralized gambling site so License are sometimes unlikely here. I heard there are fake Web3's casinos out there but maybe they have a license too. That's fine I guess because having a License would mean that they are not a scam because if they are, they can't obtain a License at the first place and then they will be traced easily as I think it requires the team to be doxxed before they get their very own License.

Both Centralized and Decentralized casino has their own Pros and Cons. Some of us still prefers the Decentralized one because they stick on the vision of the original Cryptos which is to promote Decentralization.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 03, 2023, 09:26:59 AM
Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
The Budget which should not effect on your emotions means set that budget which you lose, and this will not effect on you depression level.
And not become an addict of gambling which harmful for your health or for your mental level and be aware when your are gambling and control yourself when you are loosing the bets.
This must be a small amount but not totally because there is no thrill on it anymore. Sometimes when we already done this practice, we can't feel to be uncontended so we are going to deposit again. This is why I am practicing to separate my entire funds from my online wallets so that I won't be forced to re-deposit again.

Being an addict in gambling is surely damaging our mental health which can also affect us physically because we can hardly eat and sleep when we are addicted on one thing. Worse can happen is we can threaten other people only to get more money which can support our bad habits. Gambling is very manipulative so one should be fully prepared before they engage on it.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 02, 2023, 08:42:52 PM
I don't know if it's just me but the closer we get the higher chance I feel like City will win. I know that they have been good already, so it shouldn't really be getting a higher rate, but for some reason I just think they will do better every single day. All in all I believe that the best thing to do would be betting on City moneyline for this game and maybe up the ante a bit if you want a bigger return.

There is basically no doubt in my mind left that City will win. At first after the real game, I saw them play amazingly and felt more careful, like "yes they are good but anything could happen!" but the closer we get the more I started to feel like it's guaranteed that they will win. They won't miss this chance, it's not going to be this easy probably ever again.
1480  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 02, 2023, 09:33:51 AM
Thats the mental of it. When they lose money they try to get even and hopefully make more.

Before they got to that point though someone must have introduced them to casino, an influencer is just one of them and the power of persuation applies not just off line but the internet can lure people to do just about anything like depositing funds for gambling.

Gambling is not about winning always, though it may come unexpected sometimes that we make this frequently but not everytime we gambling this kind of occasional occurrence happened, an average right mind thinking gambler should know when it's right time for him to gamble and when not to gamble, such person also must be able to read the situation attached to each of the gambling experience he had before taking another moves to bet.
A right-minded gambler should understand when they need to stop when they are gambling, whether they have got a big win or have lost a lot of money already as in both scenarios, they would know it's better if they stop right there because if they play after winning, they might lose everything they've won, and if they gamble more after losing a lot, they will end up losing everything.

Gambling is obviously not only about winning and that is simply because gambling is a game of luck and if your luck doesn't work in your favor, you are guaranteed to lose and you can win only when you are lucky.
