Building out a 120TH farm at 16GH per chip takes an enormous amount of PCBs, capacitors, substrates, PSUs, chassis, etc.

Where is the money to finish those machines going to come from?

I am quite sure the money to assemble the miners has already been raised.

ALWAYS BET ON iCE...
2142  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Labcoin Official Thread - Self-Moderated on: November 14, 2013, 02:43:47 AM
I said this a long time ago and no one listened.

Everyone involved in the scam will cry and shout they were scammed/used/underpaid/etc...

I forget who, but remember that jerk complaining he only got paid 10 btc? And everyone soaked it up, what about theswede that plays a sob story about how he is still invested.

Theswede has a lot of bitcoin from other investments and is an early adopter, theswede also used his "reputation" and marketing speak to get people to fork over 7,000 bitcoin. I think theswede should pay out all of his bitcoin to the shareholders, even if he can only cover 10%. it is something.

Look how stupid everyone here looks, you have all these people to target and you let them funnel you into looking for one single person.

Everyone involved in Labcoin is involved in the scam, and they are "sob story"ing their way out of handing over cash. They must go bankrupt giving everything they own back to shareholders. Some of these scammers own business, that business must now be liquefied to pay back Labcoin shareholder debts. Theswede must now get out his cold wallets and pay back, even if he has not made anything from Labcoin he enabled the scam.

I am no longer invested but I get frustrated reading how yet again another scammer has told you to look down another dark alleyway.

Remember: Everyone involved is going to cry and shout and misdirect.

I doubt anyone here will actually pull through and theswede and the rest are going to get away with it. No way the scammers are going to pay. Scammers to smart obviously. Now Labcoin shareholders, prove me wrong!

Well we are half way through November and we are under 2TH/s.

I wonder what's going on? Is the low production run behind schedule? Will the low production run even produce enough chips for one 24TH/s miner? Being in the dark as Bitcoin rises to $1,000 is stressing me out.
2144  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 14, 2013, 02:25:24 AM
Like I have said many times, if Ken can deliver 6x24TH/s machines then we have no problems as this means he can get us to 3% of the network. The sooner the better of course.

Also can we stop talking about price of a bitcoin in this thread? This thread is all about getting our bitcoin back, in bitcoin amounts. I don't care so much about future price if we never get the bitcoin we invested back.

Come on Ken, get us 100TH/s online!
2145  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:56:46 PM
Sure but it's a pre-order. So it's for a machine being assembled as we speak. It makes sense that as soon as we can mine for ourselves we should ship big orders so our ACtM mining will go up at the same time as we start shipping and probably not a long time before. Possibly a matter of days.

I hope you are right.
2146  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:52:44 PM
I'm not trying to convince you dts, or to stop your 'bitching' as you call it, and in fact I wasn't even addressing this comment to you, it was a general comment about this order business.

Thats ok. I get the feeling I am bitching a bit, not based on your comment at all.

I just want us mining. If we are taking orders for hundreds of TH/s I wonder where our TH/s are?

This order Ken told us about, if we had those machines that would allow us to mine more bitcoin than our mining address has ever received inside of a week.

Its one of those too good to be true things you know.

That order contains over 100 times our entire mining capability.
2147  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:45:13 PM
come on now VE, you gambled and lost, just like a lot of people.  if you trusted Ken to deliver without any proof then that is on you.

Finlof, I am not sure VE lost, he unloaded 6 figure amount of shares at the peak so he has made perhaps 1,000 bitcoin at least from ActiveMining.

2148  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:41:35 PM
The main thing to take from this Million dollar order for 6 machines - whether it is genuine or some malicious attack - is that Ken accepted the order and came on here to let us know about it.

That tells us a lot of things:

We can manufacture and deliver the order in good time - the chips work, they perform as advertised.
We can make 6miners that are capable of taking 3% of total hash - for customers.
If we can do the above we can put enough miners on our own farm to make serious money.
Ken is keen to start sharing more details about our retail sales.

So even if it was a deliberately false order, the fact that Ken said we can fill the order is pretty significant.

Trust me, I want to believe!

If Ken can really hit 3% of the network and sell all this gear by the end of November I promise to stop bitching!

Just one of those machines would make more Bitcoin in one day than what has been accumulating in our mining address over the past 2 weeks.

Are you at a university? I know my university has blocked bitcoin so using the client over their wifi is a no go.

Edit: Using any client except a web wallet is a no go at my university.

Although I feel like something is wrong. The low volume batch should have been delivered by now...
2151  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:30:28 PM
Why? I have lost so much money but there is nothing left to do except hope Ken gets lots of TH/s online.

Like I said, I need ActiveMining to maintain 3% of the network for a breakeven point. I can't do anything except hope that Ken gets the chips and puts them all into a farm asap.

What has he done so far to show that he is competent enough to accomplish this?  Every time he opens his mouth he pukes stupidity.. I have no idea why I ever decided to trust this guy

I think you are missing my point... I have no choice but to wait this investment/gamble out, I have no other option.

The way I see it, if the extra hashpower is from a working prototype then when the low volume batch comes in Ken should be able to get those hashing too, if he got 1 machine hashing why not get more hashing?

The question comes down to this: How many chips does ken get for the low volume batch? I need 19,000 at least for this investment to start to make sense.
2152  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 03:24:36 PM
VE can't you criticize Ken like a civilized person instead of being so vulgar and abusive?

Fuck no.  He took away my chance at a large fortune.. I had a lot of value in bitcoin and I could have a shitload of money right now if he wasn't such a piece of shit Smiley

Last I heard you dumped a huge amount of shares at the peak, your doing better financially than most of us here.

Then you should all be pissed

finlof, is that stock amount new on the website do you know? I haven't noticed it before

Its always been there, in the code, but normally the pre-order thing replaces it. Looks like finlof half loaded the page or his web browser is incorrectly loading html.
the page was not half loaded (give me some credit i'm not a moron).  i tried from firefox, chrome, and IE to make sure it wasnt a bug specific to one browser.  i even checked on my of my client's machines from a different state and it showed even MORE stock.  now it is showing "Availability: PREPAID PREORDER" again.

Well this makes no sense, is the website having a spasm?

2155  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 02:54:33 PM
I have made the test of placing an order (without completing the payment) and I didn't see an estimated shipping date anywhere. According to the site the products are available and the $200 shipping fee should have it at my place (Europe) in less than 4 days.

Yep this is the problem, we don't have 10% of the mining power of one of these machines and yet the website is telling people they can have them in a matter of days.

Ken you really need to sort out the site, I doubt you will have to refund people as you have not taken any payments.

Please Ken stop with selling miners and focus on our hashrate. Please.

On the plus side, now we know ActiveMining has not actually taken any money from customers we don't have to refund anything when we fail to deliver multiple 24TH/s machines before the end of November.

Still a disappointment that Ken was counting fake orders. He really should have only counted money taken in.

Ken, I know that you probably have not take any money from customers, but thats ok because the focus should be on our hashrate first. Once we have a respectable hashrate I am sure people will line up to order the miners.

At least study the "engine" and make up something convincing.

http://just-dice.com/lucky.txt

Perhaps something about predicting SHA512 or something...
2159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just-Dice Vulnerability / Exploit on: November 13, 2013, 12:09:40 PM
Oh and it's currently impossible to place a 200 bitcoin bet on 990,000 times payout.

Edit: .00028 is around about the highest you can wager on 990,000x
2160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just-Dice Vulnerability / Exploit on: November 13, 2013, 12:08:49 PM
Why do I even bother?

You want to sell a thing to 3 people to gain a total of 90btc?

Why do this when you won more than that amount? Why reveal your secret when you could have taken the site for thousands of Bitcoin.

If you care why would you let 3 greedy people have the exploit?

The real question is: are you a troll or really stupid?
