Please do not disrespect each other and resort to name calling.  Valuable points are lost when posts are deleted just because of one silly remark.

ActM Thread

I would also say don't post complete lies which have zero verifiable evidence and make out they are facts.

I have PM'd you the source. I have not lied.

Would you rather have $250 now and $0 later, or $0 now and $1,000,000 later?  You just aren't getting it.  I give up with you, I really do.

Lets examine what you're saying to me:

1 - $250 now == $0 later.

2 - $0 now == $1,000,000 (or even $50,000) later.

You're argument comes down to your belief that if Ken pays out the dividend, the MSD will come down hard on Ken and destroy ActiveMining leaving nothing later on.

Lets see, the MSD and/or Ken's lawyers are confident that minimal trading is allowed [CryptoTrade] but paying out a dividend is out of the question? Surely allowing new investors to buy into the company is much worse than paying out dividends to existing customers.

Your argument relies on the fact that it's ok to trade shares but it's not ok to pay out a dividend.

I disagree with your argument and believe that paying out a dividend is far safer than allowing continued trading.

... in fact I have no idea what 'financial instrument' I hold Ken holds, it doesn't feel like a stock/share.
...

It seems so obvious in retrospect, huh?  Also FTFY.

Stop making such a fuss over the 250 bucks you are owed in dividends and put things into perspective DTS.

Perspective.

Lets see, would I rather $0 or $250 for my "$50,000 - $200,000" investment?

If you choose $0, you're Simon Templar.

If you choose $250, you're everybody else.

You guys that have money tied up in this should stop asking for financials. Ken has shown that he will use any excuse to not do something, and financial reports have the built in excuse of needing an accountant. Start asking for specific amounts of money spent/on hand that ken should know. It won't give you the full picture (that you need) but knowing how much money was given to hashfast, for example can give you a hint as to whether things are as good as they seem.

Some geniuses may think that it doesn't matter since you can't trade, but if he is spending too much money, you guys should find out before it's all gone so that you can do something to stop it before it's all gone.

We had money tied up in this, if the company was in any sort of decent shape an 'accountant created financials' would have been released ages ago. I doubt Ken even has a lawyer because no lawyer would tell Ken to withhold such information.

Shareholders are normally entitled to this sort of information.

But of course, we are not 'real' shareholders but some bastardized concept of a shareholder/virtual shareholder or something, in fact I have no idea what 'financial instrument' I hold, it doesn't feel like a stock/share.

Ken had about 1,000 bitcoin left before the Hashfast deal. Many of the large shareholders have done the math, nothing is left except for generated dividends, which we will never see. It's all lies and bullshit.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Safecoin maidsafecoin on: April 26, 2014, 12:39:06 PM
Can the Maidsafe people respond to a core developer implying Safecoin is a scam?

Can hyped up non-existent vaporware cure cancer?  Anyone's guess.  I saw and early whitepaper for that and it was full of technobabble and set of my personal sleaze alarms.

Good thing I only invested $110

EDIT:

Does it concern anyone that all the core files (the actual code) haven't been updated in 2 - 3 months?
1247  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 26, 2014, 12:31:19 PM
No-one is stealing your future.  YOU gambled YOUR future on a horse that has never ran a race, let alone won one.  And now you demand results when it's lame and aren't prepared to consult a vet!  Get real.

I demand what's in the dividend address or even half.

It might not be results, but if ActiveMining is making 70 bitcoin per month after the 50% cut, then I want my 0.7 bitcoin now, not in 2 years.
1248  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Unofficial Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: April 26, 2014, 07:06:52 AM
I'm so embarrassed. Ken you might want to hire someone who knows customer service and logistics. It's worth giving up a million restricted shares for someone that can give us a chance of surviving.

Please don't be penny wise and pound foolish, we need customers for our long term prosperity, but why do this? Why make every customer hate us?
1249  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 26, 2014, 05:20:55 AM
After all, it's your money that's paying for his lawyer.

Exactly, Ken and family are probably on about 200 - 400 bitcoin a year and the lawyer will cost us another 400 bitcoin.

I'm afraid there is nothing left.

Any idea when v0.4 of the MasterChest wallet will come out?

1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Safecoin maidsafecoin on: April 26, 2014, 04:14:09 AM
A few questions:

1 - Is the MasterChest Wallet the prefered means to move maidsafecoin?

2 - In bitcoin core, they show as really small transactions, how can I stop bitcoin core including them into normal transactions? If I accidentally send the 0.000055 transaction as a normal bitcoin transaction, would that destroy the maidsafecoin?

3 - Is the best advice to move them into a different wallet that is separate from your bitcoin wallet?
1252  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 26, 2014, 04:07:36 AM
Also, why is DTS making such a fuss over divs?  From mining there are probably 100 btc to split between 10,000,000 shares and at best 50% would get paid out and the other 50% reinvested.  I wouldn't imagine there are any divs getting paid out for hardware sales at this stage and would expect all off the profits be reinvested.  So for DTS's 114,000 shares he's probably due around 0.57 btc.  So, why the fuss DTS?  And for everyone else that's 0.05 btc for every 10,000 shares you own.

First it's not going to be a 50% split because half of the profits are being reinvested, Ken is making profits from hardware sales so this offsets some of the profits from the mining address.

If Ken makes $100,000 in sales in a month (200 bitcoin, 100 bitcoin profit, just for example) then we are owed 100% of the mining address as Ken has already made the 50% for reinvestment elsewhere.

Ken can't just take 50% from the mining address and 100% of the profits from hardware sales, then he would be getting 80% or something high like that.

Also 135 bitcoin per month = 1.35 bitcoin per month or 0.675 bitcoin per month for me.

I believe that bitcoin will reach $5,000 this year so that makes it about $100,000 a year in dividends. I would like that bitcoin in my wallet by the time $5,000 bitcoin comes around, not Ken's.

I can't afford to put more than $20 into bitcoin per week right now, so I really need that dividend. I also want to invest in things likes Ethereum, at the moment Ken is stealing all that opportunity from me and I am getting angry with him for that.

I am owed dividend, please pay it and stop stealing my future.

1253  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Export Bitcoin core keys without Bitcoin core on: April 25, 2014, 02:18:15 PM
Not sure Sad something what you are asking even exist

I need something that can parse an encrypted bitcoin wallet. I have the wallet and the passcode, but no bitcoin software on this computer.
1254  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Export Bitcoin core keys without Bitcoin core on: April 25, 2014, 02:04:51 PM
Is there a library I can use to export bitcoin core keys from without having to download the blockchain.

I still feel like he's going to get a good percentage of the network, then lose it, all the while without any shares being able to trade. They might have some decent value for a few weeks, but all share holders are shit outta luck on that one.
If the shares were online right now, with the amazing increases in hashing hes bringing online they would already be substantially inflated in price. alas, I fear he will lose his capability to keep up with the network and difficulty. Watch him then spend all accumulated divs to try and catch up, only to crash miserably. Think ASICMiner in the summer of 2013, and ASICMiner (unlike ActM) is a competent, solid operation. ActM share "holders" may never see a satoshi.

dude inspires zero confidence.

I really hope I am wrong though. If he comes through I might apologize, more likely I'll just quietly cash out, go away forever, and never think of this headache again.

Bingo.

Even if we had a good month, nothing matters, this 'investigation' will go on for years.

Hey Ken, just a few more questions.

1) Any possibility you can send out dividends?

Not until we get shares up and trading and the MSD Investigation is settled.

I'm sorry but this isn't good enough. I can understand the investigation putting on hold the ability that more people buy into this company.

However I cannot understand how the investigation matters concerning the dividend. We are owed that no matter the investigation outcome.

We need the dividend now Ken, this is utterly unacceptable.

Thanks Ken.

Ok so I invested a small amount into this experiment.

Question 1) When are we receiving the maidsafecoin?

masterchest.info doesn't show any balance yet and I have recieved no transaction into bitcoin core client.

Question 2) Even though the bitcoin client can't be used to author mastercoin/mainsafecoin transactions, they will still show up in the client won't they?

Can i buy safecoin with my BTC in dex now from all other owners who want to sell?

also buymaid.com in BTC; LTC; MSC and apparently also DOGE and perhaps others.

How is it possible to buy coins there?

I thought it is 10% investors 15% developing and 75% mining.

So who is selling there coins for a fixed price of 1BTC/10000maids?Huh

It's people belonging to that 10% of investors that are selling their coins for a quick 100%+ profit

How so? 1 bitcoin nets you just over 20,000 maids right? So this is netting the seller 50% less than cost at 10,000.
1259  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 24, 2014, 06:37:47 PM
If btc gets to ten dollars it will be dead and not worth buying. You keep making bad investment decisions?!

Buying actm was not a bad decision, putting all your coin on one horse was.

Yeah you're right.

I have little left I guess I am desperate.

I've been meaning to stay away from this investment and let it go, but it still occupies my mind.
1260  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 24, 2014, 06:31:53 PM
I wouldn't mind bitcoin going to <$10 again, so I can buy back the hundreds of bitcoin I lost to this company.

So you are not as broke as you keep suggesting you are.

Lol I am broke, but I am desperate to get my coins back. If bitcoin went to $10 I would sell my car, TV, coffee machine, half my computers.

Apart from my appliances I have nothing, remember it would only take $5,000 to get back to where I was if bitcoin was $10.
