2141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the last day panic. on: July 31, 2017, 10:21:18 PM
Bitcoin's price has already started to pump again, it's not far from June's 11th all-time high, it got pretty close a few hours ago, reaching $2900. It seems that it's now possible to reach $3000 soon.
Lets wait and see what the price would take us,i am hoping for a rally after the fork and that is what i am waiting for, even if there is drop in price there is nothing to worry as i am sure the price will catch up later, just a few hours more to get things locked.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 30, 2017, 10:58:29 PM
That is the problem. Floyd Mayweather also has a plan until he himself is also hit in the face. They are both human but Conor is stronger, bigger and in his peak while Floyd is older and he is risking himself to lose for the first time against a nonboxer of all people.

Does this mean MMA is better than boxing?
In a real fighting situation MMA is always better,it is always good to learn some sort of martial arts to survive and if a boxer faces a MMA fighter in the streets it is guaranteed that MMA will win as boxing is just a stand up limited fight and MMA fighter will take you down and ground and pound and designs your face.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: July 30, 2017, 10:31:41 PM
I just saw this yesterday live... it was sad to see Daniel Cormier devastated after the KO. It looked to me like he was winning every round. He was doing what he had to do, but Jon Jones played an intelligent game and tricked him into focusing on his hands too much, looks like he forgot Jon Jones has super long legs that can come out of any angle. He wasn't covering his right side, he leaned to the right side, and the kick was coming in this direction = game over.
Still no official statement by DC post-fight, no interviews or tweets.
I also see him winning before the devastating kick by Jones. Truly the King is back. Brock Lesnar will be a good challenge for him. Let's see how this things work out. Jones is looking for a new challenge now and he see that Brock is a good one. I remember that he want's Cain before, but Cain has somewhat taking a vacation now.
I am not sure which fight you guys were watching,i watched it live and since everyone was giving round one for Jones and two for Cormier i watched it couple of times and i did not see Cormier winning either of the round, yes he had a better answer to the clinch game and that was it,he was eating kicks to his legs and stomach all the time ,it is a truly remarkable performance by Jones,i had my doubts when he skipped the work out routine as i thought he might be injured, but it was just a strategy on his part, the greatest of all time without a doubt.
2144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe that forking will give you 2 coins worth more than 1 coin on: July 30, 2017, 09:57:56 PM
please keep in mind that

1BTC + 1BCC worth $1,000 is not as smart as 1 BTC worth $3,000...

BCC is a scam, it is almost sort of "pre-mined" by Bitmain (hash power and 1st move advantage), and was only created to enrich Bitmains' greedy board.
Too bad, beacuse the idea of a way bigger block size is great and that is what BTC needs (up to a certain extend, to keep the "decentralized" idea, even if 1% of holders have 69% of BTC...)
I am not sure how you come up with these calculations ,if i get an equal share of the split how can it be $1000 combined,do you think that the price would go down for bitcoin, what are you trying to tell here,BCC has some good backing for now and if they create a better model to compete with bitcoin,so be it,you do not shut down innovation by calling it a scam, let them do what they are trying to do as simple as that and if you are not interested ,just forget about it.
2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 30, 2017, 07:11:32 PM
what a win for India, I really missed the fourth day of the first test match against host team Sri Lanka. India really has shown their team strength at the every side. they performed very well both the batting and bowling side. but Sri Lanka never created any chances to come back this match. they are really struggling with their new squad.
It was a loop sided match and i really like close matches than one sided fights in test matches,India with a strong batting line up and a good spinners in Ashwin and Jadeja it will be really difficult for SL to match the Indian side at the moment,if they create a spinning wicket to trouble the Indian batsmen they could get hampered because India has good spinners too.
2146  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 25, 2017, 11:13:37 PM
Volatility can't be controled but it will get more and more reduced as market cap and daily volume increases over time. Bitcoins volatility is proportional to its value, at higher valuations it takes more fiat to move the price in either direction.
If you look at the historical data we could very well say that we are not seeing that much volatility like we used to see in the beginning, things will change when the market cap increases without a doubt, with the scaling being done it is a matter of time that we take the market to the next level and then we could see less volatility.
2147  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: July 25, 2017, 11:01:12 PM
If you take the futurist position that world economy growth rate will increase dramatically over the next few decades, then it makes it simpler for Bitcoin to reach $50k.

What I'm interested to see is if multiple cryptocurrencies will hold the bulk of the market cap in 5-10 years (like ETH + BTC today).
There are high possibilities that a few multiple crypto currencies will hold the entire market as we see today and we can expect the best coin with the best vision in the top ten to twenty will be holding all the valuation and we might see some projects dying off in the mean time, accept from bitcoin there is no guarantee for the rest of the coins, that is my personal opinion.
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: July 25, 2017, 09:10:54 PM
Hey guys, just dropping by to post some videos.  I hope you already have your bets locked and loaded before watching these as they could change your decisions for the worst.  Enjoy!
I am locking my huge bet on Jon Jones and Cyborg parlay as these are my favorite fighters and i do not think anyone could challenge them in near future,Jones is stronger and bigger now ,lets see whether Cormier can do anything different, i see this as a battle of clinches and elbows .The sad thing is there is not a worthy contender for Cyborg as she is the best in the world and no one comes close to her.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an Alt-coin trying to profit off the Bitcoin Brand on: July 25, 2017, 09:04:45 PM
Anyone can create one of these stupid spinoff coins at any time, but they're not successful for obvious reasons.

Here is the last one of these: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.0
You are the great individual that everyone is targeting right  Cheesy i mean the people who are against the core,i have heard some things about you in some of the speeches i heard in the conferences and i guess you have collected a lot of enemies in the mean time. Grin I think there will be more spin offs by August and lets see who is going to be successful in the end.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: will I receive BCC from poloniex after Aug. 1? on: July 24, 2017, 10:07:06 PM
I think they are yet to officially announce something about it but bittrex has already announced that they will be taking care of the funds and will be distributing the coins if there is a split in the network and if they did not announce this week, then never expect them to give you the split coins.
2151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 24, 2017, 07:45:13 PM
Satoshi's true identity may have been David Kleiman.
Unfortunately Kleiman died in 2013 and we may never know the truth or facts regarding whether he was Satoshi.
How about Satoshi emerging from the darkness once again,if there is a chain split then i am pretty much sure that we will see Satoshi coming back to move his coins ,i really think we could see the real person behind this great technology during these situation,so the following weeks are really interesting to see what will happen to bitcoin.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to deal with multiple accounts and abusing faucet? on: July 24, 2017, 07:29:06 PM
We decided to remove faucet from our site! Thanks to all for valuable feedback! Smiley
If you could build a good back end then you could counter multiple accounts with ease and if you are not planning to do that then removing the faucet is the only option, but it might be a good option to build a good back end to monitor multiple accounts from the same IP and then you can ban people who are not depositing after registering for 3 months and so on,there are many options to get rid of leechers.
2153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 24, 2017, 05:48:18 PM
I'm not sure that the price will not fall. It is very difficult to predict the behavior of bitcoin. We don't know how many people have in their accounts of thousands of bitcoins and at any time they can crash the market.
No one can predict what the price will be a few weeks from now,but i am sure that the price wont go down considerably, the only man who can single handily crash the market right now is the man who created bitcoin, satoshi. I hope we could see his entry anytime soon because his millions of coins are still not moved.
2154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin split on August! on: July 24, 2017, 04:03:27 PM
I think there is a possibility that we could see a version without segwit ,which is bitcoin cash which is already launched but i am not sure about a network split as all the opposing figures might join bitcoin cash and will let the BIP 148 to follow and i hope we wont have any difficulties in implementing it.
2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on FOX 25: Weidman vs Gastelum Info and Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2017, 10:27:52 PM
Oh well...  Anyway, I guess Gastelum will be going back down to WW?
It is really difficult for Gastelum to cut that much weight for WW,he should work on his skills and come back stronger or to look after his diet seriously if he really wants to go down to WW and Weidman is back in the win column after three one sided losses ,waiting for the Jon Jones fight and i am sure i am betting for Jones on that one.
2156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies and bet fraud (match fixing) on: July 23, 2017, 10:01:42 PM
A sportsman can place a huge bet against himself and than just throw the match and take a huge amount of money, and it would be impossible to spot this because betting was done anonymously via cryptocurrencies. Sometimes it's easy to spot that the player is intentionally throwing, in other cases it's almost impossible to tell, also huge bets on weak picks might raise suspicions, but if done right, it might be very hard to spot the fraud.
If you are used to online gambling sites then you should have noticed that there is a limit on the maximum amount of coins to be placed for every sporting event and since there is a limit these kind of activities is very hard to proceed, may be there might be fixed matches but that wont be happening with online gambling sites but with big gambling casinos.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 23, 2017, 09:35:04 PM
Both the teams worked pretty hard, almost like men.

But in the end, the best team, England won it. Smiley
Worked hard almost like men  Cheesy it was a very close match and it was a very good performance from both the team and i wished India could have won their first Women's world cup which could generate more interest to the women's sport division in the country, over all had some outstanding performance throughout this tournament and one of the successful events in the history of women's cricket.
2158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 18, 2017, 11:45:48 PM
yes do it. cash out now
If you are going to sell it now,so be it,but that does not mean that this is the best price you can get with bitcoin, there might be certain down rallies in bitcoin but that does not mean that it will be like this all the time,so if you are not in need of urgent money, just keep your bitcoin tight so that we will see another rally by the end of this year.
2159  Economy / Economics / Re: About world crisis and criptocurrency on: July 18, 2017, 11:34:04 PM
If there is an economic crisis then i am sure we will see more investment coming through in the crypto currency market without a doubt, every investor who lost a ton of money during the late 2000s know how brutal the crisis was and people would withdraw their money and invest in the crypto market if a crisis happens in the future.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 18, 2017, 11:21:40 PM
@Baofeng Even Mayweather admits that he was the B side when he faced Oscar Dela Hoya,in almost all of his fights, the general viewers sees the opponent winning but the judges have other score cards and that is what we are seeing for a long time, the trick comes when it comes to strikes landed ,on television we see more punches being thrown but in reality only a few shots really reaches the target when you are against Mayweather,he is out for two years and forty years of age,i am sure his reflexes are not the same and that is what excites me in this fight.
