2181  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rupert Murdoch & Fox News lied about January 6th on: March 06, 2023, 11:39:15 PM
In reality, I seriously doubt much of the people within the Qanon movement are even aware of this lawsuit, the declarations given under oath and the released text messages between top Fox hosts about what they really thought about the state of the election.

Many of them only watch Fox and similar media on internet and since mostly is the left media which is reporting on the Dominion lawsuit, it is possible they are not informed at all.
I think you might be right. It's not like Fox news want to cover a huge loss of credibility and they won't be watching anything else then right wing news. I guess fox news pays the bill and moves on like nothing happened. Except i wonder if their viewers pick up the fact that they will stop talking about the voting machines now. In best case they might even be more careful to pick their battles, and choose more carefully who they are attacking without evidence.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Trend on NFT cartoon Avatars on: March 06, 2023, 11:27:56 PM
There is new trending of NFT cartoon Avatars generated by AI. Do you participate any of these projects which backed by reputed organizations?

What reputable organizations are you talking about? What ever it is it doesn't sound like i would join into something like that. I follow NFTs and haven't seen this trend, or haven't seen that in a way that ai art would interest anyone as it takes zero effort. Cartoon avatars for sure there's some demand for those i mean starting from BAYC, but ai generated is garbage.
2183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else agree that mtgox payout is keeping bitcoin down? on: March 06, 2023, 10:31:32 PM
I know most people downplay the Mt Gox payout and most will say it will have no bearing on the price. This is why I am curious if anyone actually thinks this is keeping the bitcoin price down.

When Mt Gox payout goes into effect, they will sell a lot of bitcoin to get the cash needed for the claimants who wanted fiat instead of bitcoin. This will be a huge amount of coins hitting the market. Then you have all the bitcoin being sent to everyone, will they cash in those bitcoins for cash?

This adds huge risk into the price, nobody really knows what this is going to do and you can only speculate. Will Mt Gox sell all of these bitcoins in a day and crash the market? Who knows what could happen.

This causes a a lot of uncertainty, why invest in bitcoin when  there could be a huge amount of coins hitting the market. Better to just wait for the payouts to happen after March 10th and see how it goes.

I totally get why people wouldn't buy now.

It's like invert version of sell the news event, where people are afraid to buy the news (in inverse). And as the fear is priced in it won't drop either.

Meaning that we most likely we start to move up rather then down right after people get their btc back. Some people will sell their bitcoins as they have waited for so long, but i trust there will be ton of money ready to buy as people are just waiting the price to drop. When it doesn't drop enough, people will slowly start to buy it back up.
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and SEC Are Friends! Ugly Truth! on: March 06, 2023, 10:15:38 PM
Word "Truth" in a title is somehow almost guarantee that writer doesn't understand the concept of truth. It's always used a lot by people who don't know grammar or how to provide evidence.
This is the case in this thread as well. There's no evidence provided, there's just assumptions.

Sur,e most coins that had private or public sale want to secure their future and comply with regulators. Is that being a "friend" with SEC?
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am betting on SushiSwap in the next bull run on: March 06, 2023, 10:05:15 PM
-cut-
So will you also bet on ShushiSwap ?
-cut-

No. I think that risk reward ratio isn't good enough. In case of sushiswap i have no idea if it goes back up or not. Or if competition eats their share and no one will be interested.
And even if it would hit back to ath, just 25x isn't worth the risk. I rather gamble with unique projects and low cap newcomers. I am sure sushiswap has their own community but i wouldn't count it to be so strong that people wouldn't jump ship to other winning projects.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: March 06, 2023, 09:28:50 PM
I want to ask everyone, now the number of altcoins is increasing and the prices are various, do you know, in your opinion, what altcoins are still cheap now but have good potential for the future?
I want to hear an explanation from you?

I have set my eyes on Dusk Network. Because the marketcap is ridiculous when you consider the mountain of work they have been doing. I get that people are upset that mainnet isn't ready yet but when people are building something new and complex from scratch it takes time and it's impossible to know all the problems they will face on developing. But anyway, i see it cold be a trillion marketcap project so there's ton of room for growth.
2187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 06, 2023, 09:22:28 PM
Hi, as I said in the title, Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers from the biggest casinos are discussing each other? If you are in some such group please share them here. I believe there are some groups but I can not find them, unfortunately Smiley. Thank you
I would avoid those channels, they are flooded and it's hard to filter anything important from that chatter. And big casinos have their own chats anyway.

Instead of any generic gambling telegram chat you should try  specific gambling subreddits, i am not going to name as there are something for everyone anyway, from mma gambling to racing gambling. Those are great places to chat and they sometimes have their own discords for real time chat too.
2188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: March 06, 2023, 06:38:56 PM
Hello everyone!

We're happy to announce the winners of the 10x10,000 $BTNTY airdrop campaign. https://twitter.com/bitnity/status/1632631319439216641

At the same time we would like to let you know that we will be running a bounty campaign and a signature campaign on Bitcointalk starting tomorrow. We will be putting as much as possible effort to be active on this forum.
-cut-
Well you came trough with some transparency, that's positive. And listening to the users is always positive too as i am guessing you got the signature campaign idea from here.
Just remember that when you flood the market with free/bounty tokens they will be dumped to the markets and by doing so affecting the price. So don't give too much of the circulating supply for free dumping if you care about the price.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EVIUM [Web 3 MMORPG] Jump into a New World on: March 05, 2023, 11:39:03 PM
No private investors? From what i gather from your page you haven't sold passports, land, resources or coins yet. At least it says 0 in there.
I wouldn't want to be investing to something that doesn't raise enough money. Because according to your roadmap you have been trying to sell passports and land since q3 2022.

And i am currently trying to figure out is all the graphics made by AI and post-processed by hand or do you have an actual artist with you.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: March 05, 2023, 11:23:18 PM
I have been gone for a while and now I am back, I am fully prepared to build some long term hold bags with the new trending utilities in the crypto space, I still somehow believe that Metaverse and A.I will generate big gains by 2025, what coins are you currently looking forward to accumulating? Out of Metaverse and Artificial intelligence is fine.
Sticking with ETH and i believe that RegDeFi will be a huge move forward, so i keep hoarding Dusk. And while doing so i need to hodl SOL for for some NFT flipping. So far i had a good success with that. I am getting a hang of what i need to buy and what to avoid when it comes to NFTs. NFTs are just harder to deal with as liquidity comes and goes and sometimes i fear it will be gone for good. But juggling with many different NFTs is quite fun past time.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 05, 2023, 11:13:19 PM

Betting on the Japanese underdog is like throwing money.  Looking at their record, it is clear that the Japanese has been fighting local boxers so the quality of his opponent is probably not that great.  The Japanese boxer is bound to lose here, and probably via early KO or stoppage.
[/quote]

I've seen few of Yoshino's fights. He is tough as a nail and i really doubt for KO. Most likely 12 rounds, or at least that's what i am betting. I would also so much like to see him winning but that's a bit far fetched as he seems weaker than Shakur, but i might bet that just for high multiplier. I like more or less irrational betting when there's enough incentive.
2192  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 05, 2023, 10:33:11 PM
I never tried to increase my bet even though I lost my first round. If I did, my losses would be even greater, exceeding my limit. Moreover, I've had bad experiences before from increasing bets and I don't want to experience them again. But what I like about buying the bonus feature is that sometimes it can increase the chances of getting a win or if I'm not in a good mood, I just put it on auto mode and let it spin until it runs out.

Gambling with small stakes by using or purchasing bonus features is very attractive. Maybe you should try it once in a while and see the results. But it can make you curious about the results if you experience loss, so be careful.
Thanks but i got a system, so i don't need to be careful, just to stick with my own set of rules. And it's not only small stakes, from time to time i raise my bets to maximum i have budgeted. I am just not buying bonus, i am counting on my luck to have those. And eventually i always get them. Good luck to you too.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 05, 2023, 09:19:57 PM
I don't know who needs to hear this but after years of being a bounty hunter and keeping a close eye on how bounties are conducted, it's safe to say most projects make the biggest mistake of paying bounty hunters using their native tokens, why do I say so, well bounty hunters don't share the long term foresight as the project to the point of being a hodler to grow with the company but rather see their bounty payment as a service and will sell the tokens for less to get whatever money they can because they owe nobody anything.Of course, for the project to pay using the tokens is cost cutting but if the project is truly slated for the future, paying using non-tokens is a good signal for a strong project.

Going forward in the best interest of investors and the project itself, hope to see "more" bounties being paid with established coins in this industry.

What do you guys think?
From the point of investor, yes. As a bounty hunter i know there are some projects that i actually would like to be paid with tokens their native tokens but i doubt that my fellow holders think alike. Most of them want to dump the tokens as soon as possible. This has been the case at least as long i've been in this game.

But i understand this from the point of a team, it costs them nothing to throw away tokens worth of $100M and gives free advertising.
Supply is what they want anyway. They can value their project worth 1B and give away "$100M worth" of tokens. Team doesn't need to care about the starting price anyway. They have their ico money.
2194  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 05, 2023, 08:28:14 PM
We can already give posiive or negative trust to casino announcements and talk under those threads about any issues. That's the way i am checking if the casino i am putting money in is any trustworthy.
I can't see any value building ranking or review system and don't see that serving anything new except maybe possible vote manipulation and vote spamming for money.
2195  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 05, 2023, 06:41:35 PM
The whole video can be summarized to the fact that house has an edge. That's not scamming, that's common knowledge. Casino makes profits, if that wasn't a sure thing they wouldn't exist.
And obviously when someone is winning irregular amounts of money compared to other users they are being investigated how are they doing that. Could be a hack or any number of things.

And suicide calls. I don't understand in what level company would need to react to them. Only thing you can do really is to report them, if you are taking them personally you will just go insane.
And not just casinos get them, if you are big enough you will get all sorts of crazy calls and letters.
Even the cryptocobain got his share of this.
2196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russophobia as a phenomenon on: March 05, 2023, 04:41:42 PM
Are you OK with these people wanting to deport these innocent Russians from Europe. What do you know about these people? (besides them being Russians) Maybe they hate Putin as much as you do. Would you feel sorry for them if they do?

They pay taxes, they have their right the vote. They are as European as the other Europeans now since they all have a European passport. What gives you the right to take these people's home from them?

They didn't kill the Ukrainians. They are trying to live their life just as anybody...

Racism is racism no matter which excuse you use as a cover.

If you hate Russia so much, why don't you ask the EU to nuke Kremlin?
Now you are just putting words in my mouth and making stuff up, why would i should be ok with racism? Because i implied that russia has their own racists?
And it very much sounds like you don't know what the fascism even means given that you are focusing on europe here.

And tell me, who is deporting innocent imaginary russians back to russia now?
Just because you can think of something doesn't make it real. Situation is quite opposite, we have literally taken russian refugees.

If you hate Russia so much, why don't you ask the EU to nuke Kremlin?
Why are you like this? Who said i hate Russians? Maybe do a reality check.
2197  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 05, 2023, 01:11:32 PM

Nahh, having a username doesn’t guarantee you that user is legit or not because some legit user doesn’t have follower but with real organic interaction on social media. Duelbits has this kind of problem too on their past giveaway in social which the user that they are choosing looks like a bot account or doesn’t even participate on the contest.

It’s so hard to become transparent on contest like this via social media because no one can verify exactly if the winner is legit user or just staged to win. But Betfury will not likely play dirty on contest like this because they are huge and has much bigger tournaments.
Of course it doesn't guarantee anything, but if you look at the account activity it's pretty clear what accounts are just retweeting bots. Just like you said, check if there is "real organic interaction on social media". Even if they weren't bots but just retweeting it wouldn't make any difference to me if one of them got flagged as a bot because there's zero effort behind them anyway, they might as well be bots.

And giving nicks way more transparent than not giving any data, which was my point and which i compared it to.

And obviously there could be more transparent ways like random winner picker services but i seriously don't think betfury needs to be cheating in raffle draws when it's about few hundred dollars. They can for sure.

C'mon folks, we are better than this!
-cut-
Let's kick fascism out of Europe.
-cut-
That's weak, we have been combating far right all along. In fact Russia has been funding far right movements and these days those movements gets their news from Kremlin troll factories. It's Russia and other totalitarian countries that are not doing anything about their fascism.

I am willing to bet that same people posting these slogans wouldn't like to see Putin's fascist regime overthrown.

And sure, i am willing to bet there are handful of westerns that hate even common Russians.
Just like there are Russians babushkas hating Ukrainians. -> https://i.imgur.com/zvykFoq.mp4
And yes, i am sure this is a small minority of people just like in western countries.

Is it true that blockchain networks are failure resistant?
-cut-
Nothing is failure resistant. Especially Solana. Why do you think the last network outage of solana happened? Neither do i. Neither does the team so how is it failure resistant when it last failed 1 WEEK ago. Or maybe you are trying to ask something else because network failures doesn't mean that anyone is losing money or anything like that. Just that system is down, which is one huge failure to me.

What does everyone think will happen? Is it just FUD?

FUD is a scare-tactic, this is based on reality. If this was fud it would be highly organized fud as every platform out there just cut the ties to silvergate bank.
I am just hoping that stablecoins aren't affected by this. And i find it sort of funny that from the start of tether people have waited it to crash yet it seems to be all the other stablecoins that are in danger.
