221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2023, 03:56:45 PM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source

That is because most people are not happy with just buying a certain amount of Bitcoin every month with money they can afford to do so as it does not give the person the adrenaline that gambling gives. This is of course wrong but that is how it is for the moment with people loving to gamble their money for more money and gambling is advertised a whole lot more than Bitcoin, streamers in different platforms inciting other users to try their luck by showing the huge wins there of x10.000 or more (which of course they have take a lot of time to achieve it) but viewers do not see this and as such they go and try their luck. This gives adrenaline and emotion in the beginning and it can become sadness and rage when you lose money yet people continue to gamble.

Of course it is much wiser to put the money you gamble in buying even the lowest amount of Bitcoin every week or month as this way you are preparing for the future but unfortunately very few people do this.

We all know that most of us want challenges and thrill and it could be found in gambling. There are also people who are buying Bitcoin while gambling at the same time. It's just that some people usually want a fast result which they could find in gambling. Bitcoin is worth holding in the long run and while waiting for the bull season, most of us focus on gambling just to see good results while others seek entertainment on it and avail the bonuses and promotions that each casino is running.
However, Bitcoin isn't comparable to gambling since they both have different functions and risks. We can do both investing and gambling at the same time especially if we're smart enough to deal with all the risks.
222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: July 20, 2023, 09:12:03 PM
AIs can't exceed beyond what human intelligence can do. They still have limitations and they can't also provide a 100% reliable and accurate result though we can't deny the fact that they could be a big help in trading. However, if we are being analytically strategic, it will be better to do trading on our own.
We can make better decisions based on our situation if we will do trading ourselves. We will also be able to put limitations and proper control on what we do. It will be wiser if we will be fully equipped with knowledge about trading so we can trade with confdence and without too much fear.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 20, 2023, 08:43:07 PM
It's good to follow passion but you also have to know that it's not just because they have the passion for that particular thing. They succeeded because they worked hard and smart.
Many other people have followed their passion and things did not work out for them.
Following a passion is not a piece of cake. It's challenging. It requires a lot.

I believe we'll be best at what you're doing if you like what you're doing. That's why I always advise people to develop a certain likeness to whatever they want to go into, instead of just going into it because people make money out of it. It's like wanting to go into music because of the money in music. If you don't have a passion for music, you will not be successful at it.

There are actually people who succeeded when they sacrificed their passion over practicality. Most of them have chosen a field with a higher compensation over their passion while there are lucky people who have succeeded in their career and passion at the same time. However, it will always require us to do hard work and perseverance as there will always be challenges that might come along our way no matter what our chosen fields are. Passion or not, we should value what we have and have the eagerness to focus on earning and grinding if we want to increase our networth. Following our passion still requires hard work, it's just a big bonus if we will succeed on it.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 20, 2023, 08:25:46 PM
There's a popular  remark among gamblers in the part of  my country I reside. The saying is expressed like this "if you quit that's when you lose".  They use this statement to encourage and give futuristic hope to themselves that no matter how much they loss today or how many wagers they have lost they don't need to quit as it's possible you may be the next jackpot winner tomorrow. For it's like say don't quit yet there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
I believe that it is the addicted gamblers that are always use to this say just to give hope to themselves on their losses. We all know the gambling rules that says,if you are losing, you should quit the game and play the next day.

When you see gambling as fun,you will not care about your losses and you wouldn't feel that quiting means that you are weak. Quiting shows that you are strong and can control yourself. Because if you quit today, you might resume back tomorrow. The more you play, the more you run into great loss because one can never win the house edge.

Quitting is never losing especially if you have fallen deeply into gambling addiction. There are some instances and situations wherein quiting will be the wisest thing to do particularly to those who have lost most of their savings and assets due to excessive gambling. The real lost of a gambler is the inability to control himself and being unable to deal with the risks.
For normal and disciplined gamblers, it is fine to take a break after losing because there will always be another chance to try our luck but we shouldn't chase our losses because worse situations might happen.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 20, 2023, 03:16:56 PM

anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the exchange?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?

This sound interesting, but so far on this forum and base on my own experience I haven't encountered one yet. But I think if it is a very big amount of money, online casinos won't allow to withdraw money from anonymous participant. That is why the best thing they do is to require KYC to users. For most this is negative because they cannot provide necessary proof such as ID's and paper of residency. But this thing only gives security both to the player and the casino. Who knows maybe that account just got hacked or cheated. We don't know. That is why this thread will be amazing for shared experiences.

If it looks suspicious then I think they will ask for a KYC and might also run further investigation to check if there's an illegality on the gambling activity. Some casinos might also require you to reach their wagering requirement before you will be able to withdraw high amount of prize so you will still be needing to spend more on their site.
If that's the case then you better prepare for either a KYC or wagering requirements. They might ask for it for security purposes of their site as well. I haven't heard of anyone from here who have won such huge amount with just small bets yet but I'm sure that there are already lots of silent winning stories with the same situation.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 20, 2023, 01:13:25 PM
If I could have a comfortable with the inheritance that I would get from my father then I will quit gambling. I'm gambling to win and to make money but if I already have enough to live luxurious life without risking anything that I would choose to follow what my father wants. It might also be hard for him to believe me if ever I'll tell him that I will never fall into gambling addiction. We know dads always have an advanced thought of the possible things that might happen. If that's the case, then I will just obey him since I will still be the one who will benefit from it. It's better to be wise that to be a risk taker all the time. I could also do gambling in the future but it still needs enough self-control and self discipline.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies can't profit from crypto without knowing how to trade. Truth or Myth? on: July 19, 2023, 08:42:23 PM
Guys, I mean what other ways can newbies benefit from crypto investment without having to be a day trader or a professional trader. Because I believe there are other ways to earn aside from trading.

It's a myth as there are many ways to benefit from the industry without having to become a trader, trading is one of the ways newbies think they can because successful but it isn't as easy as it sounds because you'll have to go through many studying to succeed at training.

Many traders end up disappointed after their first few weeks of trading and other traders quit or don't succeed at trading because they were after the profits instead of first learning how to trade like the professionals. Trading needs discipline but many people don't have it.

You can make money by investing in new projects through the difference means like launchpads, initial exchange offering or platforms that give investors an opportunity to invest in new projects that aren't exchanges . We have some popular ones which has good reviews.

But investing also requires knowledge and basic understanding about how to trade. It also need a research so you won't fall for scam projects. You don't really need to be a professional trader to earn but rather learn the basics and have knowledge about how the blockchain techology works.
There are also lots of good resources that you could find online so you better have the eagerness and courage to learn. Trading is a long process of learning but if you would persevere, you'll adopt new knowledge about the basics which will be helpful as you grab other opportunities that crypto could offer.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: July 19, 2023, 08:24:23 PM
How can I understand a meme coin's position in the current market? Is there any way to tell if it will be good or bad? I have seen MEXC exchange add many meme tokens daily. How to identify a good token from here?
I can't advice you to trust an exchange that load multiple Memecoin on their exchange and for sure MERC reputation is another point that could possibly show you the reason why their list of those tons of memecoins all thereafter is their own caught off the scam of most of those coins because most of them are just a set up for potential exit scam when their build high liquidity the whale will dump the bags of those coins on the investor.

So I must say that whatever makes you invest in any memecoin you should have it at the back of your mind that you are just taking a gamble and can lose all your invested capital,  so you should take memecoins as speculative assets alone and not for the long term.

It will be like a trial and error game when it comes to picking meme coins. There's really no way to determine if they're good or bad because most of them succeed because of the investors' demand and not because of the potential of the coin. There's a huge possibility that you'll lose everything once a meme coin turns into bubble.
It's also hard to predict their movement or their future unlike well established coins. If you seek assurance, then focus on coins with a stronger foundation. Meme coins are for risk takers and those who get along with the trend so you better be wise on choosing the risks that you would be taking.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 19, 2023, 08:00:16 PM
For those doing it for fun or entertainment they mightn't find it easy to quit as well because when they get addicted they will have similar behavior like those playing for money. They won't want to quit even when they're not making profits. Addiction is very hard behavior to quit.
You have a good point as if it's already turn into addiction so it's no longer just for fun or entertainment but most with a desire to continue playing and control is no longer from that person itself, and it's very possible as you said, when you already engage and you are unable to control yourself then it will be too difficult to quit.

Yes I have seen people that started gambling just for fun and entertainment but as time went by they became addicted that they can't stop gambling even when they're not making money from gambling. They just do it to fulfill a desire in their life because of how sorrowful it is.

Some gamblers gamble because it make them escape reality. The fact is that people are passing through alot in life that if they decide to tell you, you won't blame them for the decision they're making. Bars get filled always it's because people are use drinking to ease their pains.

People use gambling as a solution to their pains, when they win that's the only happiness they get in life and always want to play more so they win and get more happiness then it becomes a habit and they keep playing which ends them getting addicted and hard to quit.

Gambling is supposed to be our source of fun and entertainment as that's what it was created for but there are people who made it a hobby where they are already doing it excessively and without limitations. If we are doing it beyond normal or if we are already being controlled by our urges then we might be falling for gambling addiction which makes us hard to quit or stop.
It will never be hard to quit if we're wise enough to handle gambling and we're disciplined to control ourselves. It's fne to rely on it if we seek fun and entertainment but we shouldn't go beyond our limits.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 19, 2023, 07:42:12 PM
I also doubt that there are companies willing to sponsor athletes or this type of event that allows doping and other illegal substances.
Indeed. What brand would like to have its name connected to athletes making abusive usage of drugs (poisoning themselves) and decreasing their lifetime and life quality in decades? That is one of the main reasons this event doesn't make sense to exist, because there won't be public sponsors. Of course these games can still work in the shadows, belonging to something like the "deepweb", but then it won't have any recognization anyway and it will be highly restricted to select group of people who access such forbidden content, so I don't think it would be highly profitable in every cases.

Even for the athletes it doesn't worth the risk and side effects to take part into this madness.

The management shouldn't allow this because it ruins the reputation of their business and the image of the olympic games. These athletes aren't a good example especially to young aspirants who adolizes the sports. No sponsors will support this type lf olympic and bettors shouldn't support it either since they are promoting drugs and other illegal activities.
Any supporters or sponsors who will suport them will also have their reputations ruined so they should be skeptical and wise even if it could help them make money. I hope these athletes would change their mind as early as possible as it might affect their whole profession negatively.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 19, 2023, 07:20:14 PM
I felt so bad because I allowed greed to control my emotion. For this reason,I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it,instead of thinking that I can win all the money.

You did exactly the opposite of what stops me from winning big, because I would've taken the deal and left with $200.
I'm a cautious gambler and I rarely bet big. I don't lose big as well, but my style of gambling stops me from winning a lot of money. I always leave with a small profit, or I bet small to begin with.

As you can see there's no good way of doing this. You either go big and lose everything, or you play cautiously and win small amounts, but in my opinion your strategy of going big with no fear at least gives you a chance of winning life changing money. Mine doesn't.

This usually happens to me as well. Whenever I bet with small amount, I always win but I'm afraid to bet bigger. The fear of dealing with the risk is what makes me pulling from betting too much though I would love to win higher as well. They say the higher the risk the higher the rewards but I just allocate a small amount of funds for gambling maybe that's also the reason why I don't fall into gambling addiction. There were times when I'm tempted to bet higher especially when I'm having win streaks but oftentimes I always control my urge which I think is just good for me to handle things wisely.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 18, 2023, 07:57:47 PM
...

I have read somewhere that if you buy lottery tickets and the government controls them, it is somehow a subtle way of "giving" hope to the poor and collecting money from them without noticing it. It's something that I read the other day.

Well, it depends. It is not necessarily only the poor who play lottery. I have had people in my family who I would consider to be middle class and they played lottery now and then through the years. I would say that if a government is behind a lottery and one can be sure the profit of the lottery is behind used to improve the life of people (instead the government stealing the funds) then I would be okey with it. I would even participate and consider it a small donation for a good cause.
In the end, one is supposed to be a responsible adult and learn how to properly manage one's finances, specially if one is going through harsh times. Of course, it is easier saying than doing it, I am aware of it.

Despite the hearsays that the government is manipulating the lottery in our country, I still have my trust on it since it's also sustaining a charity sweepstake in our country which has been helping a lot of people in need. Despite the issues, I still believe that a portion of our bet could have a good purpose.
Yes, lottery is for everyone since each ticket is affordable. Many people in our aread has been betting for a long time because of the hope that in one right number combination, their lives could changed instantly. It might be false hope to others but it's a considered chance for most betters.

234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young people should take more advantage of the crypto space. on: July 16, 2023, 05:26:54 PM
The younger generation is actually fortunate because they have this opportunity to learn about cryptocurrency at an early age. However, more of the youth these days need enlightenment about how the blockchain teachnology really works. It should be introduced in each country in a broader way so more of the new generation would have a complete idea on how to handle it because even us, the older generation are having a hard time dealing with its risk sometimes.
A huge number of the new generation still needs enough education about how cryptocurrency really works and if more would have openmindedness about it, many will surely commit on crypto space which will surely have a huge impact on our economy in the future.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: July 16, 2023, 05:00:12 PM
I guess even 3 years is already long enough. Once I’ve never seen the positive impact of my business and it never shown any sign of progress in just a year or two, then leaving it could be the best thing to do than to prolong my business while there is no sufficient amount of income that is getting in. Otherwise, I might be triggered to take loans and might end up regretting.

So, I want to ask this before continuing, have you reviewed where the mistakes and shortcomings are for each closing book at the end of the year? If there is, I think it's easy to read and immediately revise where the error lies and minimize it. If it's taken for granted, the weak point will grow and eventually jam the business you've been running. Income does not match expenses where the fixed costs you have to pay each month.

If we're noticing that we're not earning for months then we should enhance our business plan and create a more effective business strategy. We must figure out our business's mistakes and weaknesses and try to find ways to do better.
In case we've done these things and we're still not making any profit, then we better decide weather to stop or to continue. 3 years as for me would be too long and it will be a big waste of time and finances. It might lead to total bankruptcy once we wait that long.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things that influence our trading decisions on: July 16, 2023, 04:30:11 PM
You become a victim of emotion when you don't have a believed trading system or strategy that works, which guides you to know the entry and existing point of each trade. And to tackle this,  one should develop a trading strategy around chart patterns because they are technical analysis simplified which tells you the time to get in and get out of the market because of its proven historical performances in the past.

Emotion trading is very wrong, any trader entering a trade just because he feel like Bitcoin is about to fall or rise will lose to the market. If you don't have a trading strategy or have read and understood the chart to determine which direction the market is heading don't trade. If you can't control your emotions, your emotions will control you and make you always enter the wrong trades or the right trades wrongly. Many individual has fallen victim to their emotions because if this.

Emotions is one of the things that influence many traders, some professional traders still struggle with their emotions at time but what makes them professional is because they can always control their emotions but as a newbie you'll find it difficult to control your emotions.

If we won't be able to handle our emotions during trading, it will be the one to control us and if we trade based on our emotions, we might only create wrong decisions. Trading is a roller coaster like ride of emotions and it will be the biggest challenge that we have to deal with because no matter how effective our strategies are, if we can't be wise in controlling our emotions, we will still fail. Continuous learning and dealing with every market situation could also train us to control our feelings in all yhe trading decisions that we will do. We shouldn't put too much emotions on trading but rather use our intellectual and analytical understanding.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: July 16, 2023, 03:24:39 PM
Meme coin depends on the hype it doesn't have use case and it has a big supply, so i think the future depends on the people that invest on it not on the meme coin it self, most of the meme coin is not so good as investment because in the long run its price drop drastically.  But if you get the timing and invest it during it is hot in the market maybe you will earn on it.
Yes, we have to be smart in taking advantage of conditions, especially for investing in meme coins, it's not a good choice,
do not hold meme coins too long because it is at risk of losing,
the risk is indeed big but as long as we can use it properly then it is not impossible for it to make a profit.

Meme coins rely on the trend and once the lose their spot light they also lose function and trust rate so I don't think it is wise to hold them in the long run. There are a few meme coins who have already lost their value and many investors have failed and lost a lot because of too much trust in it.
Some meme coins are actually profitable but we still have to be careful because they could also turn into bubble in just a single click. If we seek assurance, instead of meme coins, we must choose reliable coins that could remain steadfast in all market condition.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 15, 2023, 07:27:19 PM
Did you still believe airdrops? I think it will be time pass and you can't get profits from particularly airdrops because most of airdrop now timing of scam. So be alert and Don't share your Personal wallet information for participate anywhere.
There are few airdrops that are actually paying and the value of tokens are good but those airdrop are usually has a community support that strengten the project and making ti successful. Though majority of the airdrop isn’t really doing airdrop or if they do, the tokens doesn’t really have a attracting value. Recent good airdrop projects doesn’t require any KYC that’s why I think it’s not a smart move to submit KYC to any airdrop especially if there are no feedback yet about the project or it’s team. It is much easier to do jobs in real life and buy some crypto rather than joining risky/uncertain airdrops in my opinion.

There are plenty of successful airdrops this year but there are also scam projects that run it so we better careful and do researches before joining them. It is better if we'll have an idea about the reputation and potential of the project as well as the community first.
I agree that it isn't wise to comply with the KYC requirements of airdops especially if we aren't sure about their potential because we never know what scam projects might do to our personal details. There are reputable projects that don't require it, we only have to look for a good one.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 15, 2023, 06:53:55 PM
We are been threatened to stop gambling only when we are observed making loses in every game we stake although it is not something expected to be gaining always that is why it is termed GAMBLING. I can remember while we were still kids our parents would not want to see us in any gambling hall and will even threaten to disown us at a point if you are been caught gambling you will be troubled and may even decide not to go home but as time goes on they began to understand the reasons for our interest in gambling and also discovered that we were never addict but risk takers

I think that disowning one child for that reason is going a little bit too far, from my point of view.  Perhaps, It is something I would expect to see in families which have very deep religious roots, both Islamic and Christian. Actually, very conversative Christians do not allow their children to play table games which those include a dice, because in their eyes, their children and being slowly being pushed towards gambling through Monopoly, Ludo, etc. To me does not make much sense, but to each their own...

There are really religious families that don't allow their kids to gamble not just totally because of the religious belief but because as parents, they know what's best for their kids since they're aware of its risks.
They might have disowning their children as a threat but I guess it's just their way of warning their children to stay away from gambling. However, I don't think they would still that to their adult children especially f they could see that they're gambling respnsibly. Parents only want to protect their family because they know how gambling abuse could ruin lives
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: July 15, 2023, 06:32:21 PM
<snip>
Those must be scam casinos. If people, like streamers, promote a casino for free, not paying them is considered a scam. Therefore, it is highly advisable to avoid such casinos. Referring others to a casino is typically not an easy task. It also affects your reputation when you recommend someone to a particular website. So, be mindful of the casino you're directing your peers to.
Well, yeah, the issue of referral and how it affects our reputation is not something that is peculiar to gambling casinos alone, every site we refer our peers to, it directly or indirectly, positively or negatively impact or affects our reputation, depending on the experience the person we referred the site to have with the site..

And like you have said, we must be careful of the type of casinos we refer our peers to for sure, but then, this is mostly for those who have alot of gambling pals, somebody like myself have no pal to refer to any gambling site, because I have none gambling friend outside the internet, Infact., 100 percent of those I consider best friend don't even know I gamble, so each time I wanna gain referrals on a gambling site, I mostly share my link online to people I don't know and don't know me either, this is why we should also be very careful of what links we click - if you understand what I mean.
Listen, I have to be honest with you. I don't think it's a good idea to go around giving out referral links to random people in the hopes that some of them will be foolish enough to click on them. It reeks of disillusionment, don't you think? For the time being, though, let's ignore it. Regarding one's standing in society, you make a valid point. Isn't it similar to a credit rating? It's been said that a bad referral is worse than spilling red wine on white clothing. That your pals don't know about your gambling is something to discuss another time. It's a dangerous slope to recommend casinos to random people on the internet. It's not easy to regain your footing after a fall. Let's use our brains, okay?

There are actually lots of influencers who has been promoting casino sites for their own gain. We can't blame them as their goal is to make money out of the referral program. It's a hard task yet would be easy for them since they are have a huge fandom yet it is still not a good thing because most of them are giving out referral links without even warning their supporters about its risks and negative effects.

It isn't really a smart move to give out referral links to random people especially now that most people are aware that there are lots of scam casinos everywhere. People now are being careful and skeptical so I don't think earning through referrals would be that easy for individual promoters. It might take a lot of time for them to earn a good profit through it so it will be wiser to focus on other better ways to earn.
