1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 21, 2022, 12:21:58 PM
I'd rather do it during the registration so I would know if I can comply with the requirements that they will be asking rather than do it during the withdrawal or deposit process where there will be a chance for them to hold my funds. There are already some casinos that ask for KYC during registration and as epr my experience, there's nothing wrong or risk on it as long as we are choosing right casinos with good reputation.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 20, 2022, 01:47:11 PM
I'll withdraw it right away and stop betting for a while since I already hit my target profit. But I don't think leaving everything behind including your old friends will be a good idea. You can live a comfortable life without forgetting who you really are and where you're from. We can change our lifestyle but we should not make money the center of our lives that we will forget the people who stayed by our side on our darkest days.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game Have You Won The Most From And How Much In Total? on: October 19, 2022, 12:54:52 PM
Quote
1. Do you believe there are some games that carry ill luck with them, that no matter how long and how much the player wager, he or she never win significant amount of money?

Every game has its risks but as for me, there's no specific game that carries ill luck. There will be chances that we could win and lose at the same time. It depends on how we deal with the risks and apply the strategy that we know.
Quote
2. Which game have you won the most amount of money from?, and how much in total did you win from that game?
Maybe you can also mention the game provider(Pragmatic, Evolution etc.) so we can search for the game on our respective casinos and try it out.
So far I had a good winning from slots but I can't deny the fact that I also had losses before reaching that amount.
Maybe there will be a specific game that you will feel more comfortable playing. Your interest in the game will be an advantage for you to have a good winning rate.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 19, 2022, 06:26:52 AM
anyway, Manny Pacquiao is having an exhibition match against DK Yoo in a boxing match on December 10. I am not that interested in who he is fighting but I'd still watch the fight because I want to see Pacquiao in the ring again.
Yes me too, I am very interested to watch him again, besides that, I don't expect the result, Manny or Yoo win not have much effect on the rank and their achievement, but of course, the result will affect to Ukraine citizens, Because I heard they will donate the whole income.

it's still an interesting fight, Yoo body is bigger than Manny, maybe his jeb will land smoothly on Manny chin

It's actually my first time hearing about this exhibition match. It's exciting though I don't know much about DK Yoo as well but it's good to know that we'll be able to see Manny in the boxing ring again. It seems like Manny despite his retirement can't leave his passion that easy. He still prefer enjoying the sport that he loves. DK looks younger and bigger but we all know the capability of Manny. He always surprises us with his stamina.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 18, 2022, 02:35:33 PM
^

I absolutely agree with you. Gambling or betting gives real emotions only when we make our own decisions. I have followed someone else's betting advice several times in my life and have been disappointed in the outcome of most of these matches. In my opinion it is more interesting to analyze the result of a match by yourself and if the analysis is done correctly, this bet will bring me much more good emotions than I would bet on someone else's advice.
Usually good celebrities are endorsing only good teams, and that's why many got hyped because of that promotions.
I always bet with my own analysis, I can't find any reason to rely on someone though I can admit that those celebrities affects my decision sometimes, but I still make sure to have some analysis, betting is indeed more fun if you understand the sports and you bet with your favorite team. Just bet carefully, know where to put your money safely.

It's hard to rely our personal gambling decisions on the suggestions and promotions of famous celebrities and influencers even if they're our favorites. It's better to have our own analysis and critical thinking about our gambling moves and choices. Most of them are being paid to promote sites but that doesn't mean that their promotions are always applicable to us.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 02:48:42 PM
My goal is to win a profit and once I hit a good prize, I stop and just play again the next day. I've tried playing continuously before despite my winnings and unfortunately, I experienced lose streak which was really disappointing. That served as a lesson and tried not to get tempted whenever I win. I always make sure to keep the prize and stop for a day and so far, that's a working simple strategy for me.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 14, 2022, 09:38:26 PM
It's better to take home a small profit with a grateful heart than take home nothing with a bitter and regretful feeling. I will definitely share the half with the other winner than to risk in rerolling again without any assurance that I can take home the prize. If given a chance to win, we better grab it than become too greedy because of too much expectation.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Do you have winning limits???? on: October 13, 2022, 05:02:02 PM
My choice of gambling is Dice. Regularly I used to spend some time playing dice. It used be fun most at the beginning and ends with sadness. I used to have limits on winning, if I was able to make the win I just quit it for the day. In such a way I used to gamble and once after the previous week campaign payment I continued till today. Finally today even after achieving my limits on winning, I went for higher winning. What happened is loss of entire funds in the wallet. I've got more similar experiences. Does anyone have used similar strategy on winning limits.

I always make sure to put limits no matter how good my gameplay is. If I gain enough profit, I withdraw right away because I believe that contentment will always make us win. It's fine to aim for higher profit but we should still know when to stop. Being greedy might take our winnings and lead to more losses. If we will have a chance to withdraw a good amount of profit, then we better grab it than to chase for more.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Sites in the Country doest allowed on: October 13, 2022, 04:38:03 PM
What strategy do gambling developers to expand their market to countries which do not allow any type of gambling?
Do they continue with allowing users to use VPN, or do they have "some trick"?

Allowing users to use VPN is one of the possible ways to deal with the ban by the government, the other possible way is by providing mirror links like what Stake does.
If you are familiar with Indonesian local gambling sites, you should have known that most Indonesian local gambling sites provide a special link(s) to their players so they can bypass the ban/block.
I think these 2 ways are the most common thing which is used by online casinos that operate in a country where gambling is something prohibited.

Using VPN is the most common way to pursue gambling despite the restrictions and gambling blocking in a country. However, some reputable casino sites don't allow it. As for me, it will be better to follow the government rather than break the law. It will be better to avoid illegalities, especially if pursuing gambling has consequences in a country. There are still other ways for us to gamble but we should avoid what the government disallows.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bangladesh has blocked 331 online casinos on: October 12, 2022, 08:45:32 PM
Those politicians probably want to get a piece of the pie as well. They are aware of this things. And for sure that that’s one of the reasons why crypto has been developed because of this censoring issues, and of course, the centralisation power. It’s still best to go to websites that are legal in your country.

At first I also thought about it, but as I understand it, Bangladesh is still at such a stage of development that economic relations between the authorities and the population are not the main ones - everything is decided at a lower level. This ban is not for the sake of profit, but for the sake of the ban itself, something like a dictatorship that constantly reminds of itself by interfering in all spheres of life. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that this is the main thing here, and the "pretexts" can be anything - from ideology and religion to the fight against harm, etc.
Whether it would be pertain into other means or into their religion then it wouldnt matter. They are the ones who do govern and whatever reasons that they do have then its their to take.
They would be running off a country which would basically be in line with religion principles i must say? Been said and mentioned that this is an Islamic country or something like that
which we know that gambling is really that prohibited or something been excluded which it wont really be surprising on what they had done.
Sad for those who had reside or live in that place but we could still engage in gambling via other access.

It will affect a big number of gamblers in their country but they hardly believe that it will have a positive effect in the long run so we can't question them regarding that matter. It is their right to apply anything that will make their country's situation better. Gambling might have been affecting their country negatively for a long time so we can't blame them for doing such a thing.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: October 08, 2022, 05:17:54 PM
I am starting to have this crazy interest in crypto gambling projects like online casinos and stuff but I want to ask, this utility have been around for years but is there any old project that live this long and still functions?

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.

Lots of casino sites have started as small projects but developed and turned into big casino sites in time. Yes, they have been running for a long time and still working until now. It took a lot of courage for them to build up a strong reputation to maintain and keep their site running. Most top casino sites nowadays have been running for a long time already.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 08, 2022, 04:38:55 PM
Why aren't gambling websites using bug bounties to test-run their platform security? I haven't seen any gambling platform doing this, maybe that's why most gambling websites became prone to hacking?

the site owner certainly has a reliable team to handle the security system, even the programming has been designed in great detail before the site is published so it will not involve many people.  maybe that's one of the reasons why gambling platforms don't provide bug bounty services because they are quite vulnerable and of course there are certain communities or organizations that are able to test them themselves
The owner will not run their platform without assuring that their site is secure. They surely have enough funds allocated to maintain the security of their site because that's how businessmen protect their businesses.
We might not see or notice it but they are doing it as a part of the maintenance system and they don't need to broadcast it.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 07, 2022, 03:37:18 PM
Hi guys I know That it silly thing because gambling is a thing in which only casino wins
.and a user will always loose it's money. And gambling makes people poor and drain everything from money to joy. And that sucks.
In 2017 I was introduced by Bitsler.com
This website took me at least 2000 dollars a that time. There was a time when I have at least 3 ETHER at the rate of dollars. And I regret that day when I lost everything. And that took my life from me. And that was the was the day I never entered this type of scams ever. And I know people will say that we become greedy. But system is designed I n such way that it took people money and everything that we had. And I know it just that hard.

You should know the risks of gambling right from the start that you could possibly lose everything you have if you won't get lucky. We can't always win against the house yet there's still a possibility that we can hit the target prize that we want. That's why we are always advised to gamble the money that we can only afford to lose so we'll know how to deal with the risks of gambling. The site didn't scam you if that's what happened, it's just that you didn't get lucky that day.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 07, 2022, 03:12:53 PM
How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?
Gambling is like war, it looks like a joke but death is real, that's the world of gambling, many people who are involved in gambling have fun, but the money lost is real, I have faith that everyone has the worst things/moments in gambling, whether it's losing bets and so on.

I personally, also experienced the same thing and the worst thing in my history was betting on online gambling, it happened in 2020, at that time I placed a Man United vs. Tottenham, I placed a bet on Man United all my savings, in fact on the pitch turned 100 degrees Man United lost 1-6 to Tottenham, I was almost frustrated to lose the bet, I had time to think no-no, luckily my family and friends gave me motivation to get back up, after that incident I took a bitter lesson in online gambling betting, it was the worst journey I have ever experienced in online gambling.

People today see gambling is just entertainment like waging your money to the number or designated thing you want to bet on and wait for the result but most of the experience gambling it is a battle between emotion and decision making once you make a decision must need to stick and deal with it that's why people taking a lot of risk because they see the potential of high reward and profit but the side of it is the high risk option might lose and tons of losses of assets.

Our emotions most of the time are the reason why we're creating decisions that we will regret in the future. We always come up with an unexpected decision because we're carried away by too many emotions. They say that we should handle our emotions when playing but we can't deny the fact that gambling makes us have a roller coaster ride of emotions that we can't control. We're mostly overwhelmed by the result which makes us feel more eager to bet and win again despite all the risks.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 06, 2022, 04:20:16 PM
what you think on my method?

I'm pretty sure most of the members here in this forum is already familiar in your strategy. Your method is very common among newbies in dice gambling and I don't recomment it to anyone to try especially if they have huge bankroll.

It's very possible to have a lose streak of 7 times or even greater. I tried experimenting that strategy before by betting 1 satoshi as the initial bet, and to my surprise I hit more than 15 loose streaks before I get a win. Imagine if someone uses that strategy like using 20$ as the initial bet. He would take a huge loss or worst lose his whole capital before he manages to win.

A continuous loss streak is possible in gambling so despite having a big bankroll, the goal profit is unreachable using this strategy. It will be hard to regain losses if you will increase your bet every time you lose. It will be better to apply the basic strategy of betting than aiming for higher profit using a very risky technique.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 06, 2022, 02:14:21 PM
An interesting question is, If the younger person wins the lottery from the gifted ticket, will the state agree too pay them or wait till they come of legal age??

I don't think the casino will pay a minor if he manages to win the jackpot or even allow him to claim it when he reaches the right age. First of all, it is already stated on their law that gambling is illegal on their age. It would ruin the casinos reputation if they pay him and put them at risk if the authorities found out that they tolerate gambling at such a young age. Even if the parents of that child push to have his prize by telling them they give him consent to gamble, the casino can just easily counter it with the gambling law in that country.

That's the given law in gambling. Minors are always prohibited to gamble so they will have a hard time or even can't claim their winnings in case they get the jackpot prize.  Casinos will still protect their reputation over the demand of their minor players. They should have known the law in the first place before betting. Parents who push their kids to gamble in our country usually face charges and might consider abuse. There's no way minors can claim their prize especially if the lottery company would ask for legal documents.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think this is gambling? [Collectibles & Gambling] on: October 05, 2022, 05:42:26 PM
As for me, no, this is far from gambling because a person is receiving collectibles in exchange for his payment. He is like buying stuff with the possibility of getting better items that cost higher. In gambling, you are hoping to gain profit and you risk your funds but you can lose all of it without getting anything in return. They have similarities when it comes to risk since both require capital and funds but the results and rewards are different.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Table tennis is the best sport gambling! (My strategy of winning) on: October 05, 2022, 03:50:16 PM
Your job would be a lot easier if you could find sportsbooks that have lines for the top players. It's a sport that's highly dominated by China, followed by Japan, S. Korea, and European countries like Germany and Sweden. You can consider yourself lucky if you get a 1.50 odds (ML) for a top Chinese player against any non-Chinese player.

I certainly agree that a sportsbook would be a big help. The strategy mentioned won't always work. We can't rely our predictions on their facial expressions especially if we don't really know their previous game history. Relying on odds is also ineffective sometimes because the underdog in some gameplays is more determined to win which makes the result unpredictable.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 05, 2022, 03:19:07 PM
Gamers already know how to deal with every aspect of gambling games. They already know the cons and pros of the possible moves that they will make in gambling since gamers can easily adapt the game rules but it comes to taking the risks, they could be quite different. Gamers don't need to risk money but rather time and effort only but in gambling, they need to have the capital and the courage to face the possibility of losing.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 05, 2022, 03:03:01 PM
W should disregard the profession when it comes to the things that humans should enjoy. Gambling chooses no gender and we're all equal here. Even professionals also deserve to have fun by doing things that make them happy. For me, I will not mind if other people will discover my hobby and I will value my feelings more than theirs. What matters is I'm not causing harm to anyone but rather enjoying gambling the way I deserve.
