521  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: April 15, 2023, 05:06:40 PM
I'm glad that the pandemic is almost over now. It caused chaos and fear for everyone. I can honestly say that E-commerce and other opportunities online including crypto have saved me during the pandemic. We were able to survive bought buy our necessities despite the struggles because of restrictions. The pandemic has taught us a lot of lessons that we can apply now. It disciplined us financially and we learned how to value our source of income because anything can happen unexpectedly again in the future.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 15, 2023, 04:39:29 PM

This can be nice if the feature goes live since many of our friends lose their money causing many scammers to use a fake website to get their target wallet. I hope this can available globally and for many devices and we also need to increase our awareness from the fake website don't let something bad happen twice with our metamask wallet.

This feature is already live but it will help only for known scams so if you connect Metamask to unknown scam that hasnt been reported before by anyone, you wont get any warning message and you might end up getting scammed.

There is no feature that is 100% bulletproof so you should always be very careful where you connect your wallet.

If that's the case then there's still a chance for scammers to attack Metamask users because they can easily create new sites once their scam sites have been reported. There were already lots of phishing activities on Metamask and to make it 100% safer for us, we should be the ones to avoid phishing sites by being wise and observant before clicking. However, their added feature is somehow helpful to lessen the number of scams on the site but we should also be responsible to do our part.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 15, 2023, 04:14:47 PM

The Premier League have confirmed clubs have voluntarily agreed to remove gambling sponsors from the front of their matchday shirts from the start of the 2025/26 season.

This is a move to try to reduce promotion of gambling in the premier league with it's increasing audience, do you think it can successfully reduce the number of people who gamble? What do you think? Will these gambling platforms not just move to other sports, do you think other sports that wear their sponsors name in England will adopt this new development in the premier league?

No way it can reduce the number of gamblers playing gamblers will continue to gamble because of the habit,  but it can reduce the number of new people joining casinos, when a country has no restriction on gambling with or without marketing ads, gamblers will gamble, those ads serve those who gamble and prefer to return gambling when there are promotional giveaways or bonuses.
Based on the article it's only on the front of the shirt but sleeves gambling sponsorship is still allowed.
The fact is, their shirt prints don't really matter to gamblers. Gamblers come because of the existence of gambling so I don't think their strategy will help reduce the increasing number of gamblers. As long as there will be gambling advertisements and ads in different ways, people would really get attracted to betting especially now that audiences don't just watch to support their favorite players but also bet on them.
524  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 15, 2023, 03:53:07 PM
The list is very limited and my favorite online casinos are not available, the only one I have used before was Stake.com and that will be my number 1 pick on your list, there are others I prefer over Stake.com but since they are not on your list I have to go for Stake. I have never used the other casinos on your list. Here are others like Roobet, Rollbit, and Duelbit, they are wonderful online gambling platforms.
The OP should add more in his list. As the choices are very limited, it is understandable that all voters will select for Stake.
If he wants a more general opinion of the forum users, at least put up all popular casinos found in this forum.
Hope the OP will rectify the list as soon as he can. Such list is very short to get the over-all sentiments of forum gamblers.
Also, he may not get the actual answer based on what is really good for a blockchain casino as voters may have the possibility to select the casino they are promoting here.
Stake is the leading now but not all people prefer them like the user that you quoted there. BC.game has lots of supporters. In the gambling sites that I visit, there's always people who talk about BC.games. Cloudlet is also a famous gambling site here in the forum. I can feel that these three are going to be on the leading vote but the other two are going to be left behind.

There might be reason on why the OP have came with such a list. Could be that it was sponsored but I check his other post about casino awards, and he include more sites there. By there, I see that stake have won for 2 years straight. Let see if they still gets it. Majority of the users here are carrying a sig on their profile but many of them are not biased so the competition can still be fair.

It's hard to conclude about the consumer's choice if the given list is limited. There are still plenty of promising casinos nowadays with lots of consumers and supporters. Of course, the majority will choose Stake because it's one of the most firm and trusted casino and has the biggest community so far compared to other casinos on the list but I hope that promising casinos will also be recognized and added to the list especially those that have a promising reputation.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of crypto casinos with high wagering requirements on: April 15, 2023, 03:33:30 PM
|funclubcasino|x10-x30|10X wagering on slots and 30X wagering on table games if the player is playing on Deposit|

Is this real? Never heard about this casino, is it crypto casino or fiat casino or both fiat + crypto casino?
Perhaps adding the official link to the casino will be helpful for readers to check the casino by visiting the casino.
If this 10x-30x does really exist, I wonder how many players are there who want to play with an insane wagering requirement for deposit without bonus.
Surprisingly I have never heard any complain about this casino in this forum, maybe because they do not have ANN thread in this forum.

It's my first time hearing about the casino as well but honestly, there are really casinos that would ask for more than a 10x wager requirement. I played in one casino before which I'm not sure if they still exist where they ask for a 20x wagering requirement because lots of players have abused their free spin bonuses but there were only a few players that deposit on them. Maybe those who are for high wagering amounts also have valid reasons and I'm sure that they only want to keep their business running.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 14, 2023, 05:32:00 PM
Did you saying you're using someone else account? buy and sell casino's account must be illegal or there's a chance you're hack the account.

But if you meant you're the original owner but you're just don't want to submit KYC to the casino, it's your fault for not checking the KYC rules in their terms before gamble. Most of crypto casinos are asking KYC for suspicious activity, during withdrawal or during big winnings, so you need to prepare for it.

If the casino have noticed suspicious activity in your account, they will definitely restrict you and you won't be able to withdraw your funds unless you comply with the KYC requirements. I wonder why are you withdrawing the funds instead of the owner. You will surely be in trouble if you are holding big funds in an account under a different owner. It's necessary to read the TOS of a casino right from the beginning.
527  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 14, 2023, 04:13:50 PM
-snip-
They just do not want to pay, is that simple
I wouldn't conclude that too early, the casino wouldn't know a typical crypto player whether they are anti-KYC or not.
With reference to fully crypto oriented centralized casinos, I think as long as they have restrictions and comply with regulations will implement KYC eventually.

But why stating "no KYC for crypto"? And why you gyys tend to justify sportsbooks when they are being unfair?! It's a known fact that most of the sites love to scam you. I do not get these kind of things, really...
No one is trying to justify that, we understand that it is unfair and wrong to ask for KYC from a user who has deposited and played with crypto while it is clearly written on the home page that there will be no KYC asked from gamblers playing with crypto, but, we also believe that it is a mistake by a gambler if they don't read the terms and conditions of a casino and make a deposit before that.

When we go shopping, we see and check every single thing before buying the stuff that we will use later on, and why do we not care about checking everything when we are spending money online? You are using your money for god's sake, what goes wrong if you spend a few minutes reading the terms and conditions?
Their promotions and advertisements are quite tricky and would really attract gamblers who aren't into KYC so lots of players fall for it. Reading the entire TOS is helpful but there will be times when they would change it for some reason. I think we should just be responsible and double if a casino is really KYC-free or when n doubt, we can ask it directly to their team.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: April 13, 2023, 04:44:24 PM
I concur with you that age consideration has drastically caused many individual not to reach their expected height or goal in life.
I know of a man who refuse to further his education because of his age. I began to wonder if age is a determinant of goals or success in life.
The only hinderance I can imagine or that can determine or depreciate my goal in life is death. Or maybe my bones are weak.
As long as am walking with my legs and air in my lungs, every dream is achievable
I certainly agree with you. As long as we have the strength to pursue our passion and to reach success then we shouldn't quit despite our age. The chance of being successful won't be hindered by age but rather by our lack of motivation to strive higher. We should never lose confidence if we are aging because as long as we are alive, we will always have the chance to reach our dreams.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how will it be? on: April 13, 2023, 04:23:49 PM
If you are having confusion, just try to learn how to do technical analysis or a better look at the previous movements of Bitcoin so you would have an idea. If you want assurance, I would suggest that you stick to a long-term investment where you have to accumulate Bitcoin while the price is low and sell it when the bull run approaches. It will take time but it will be the safest thing to do and you don't have to make complex moves.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 13, 2023, 04:09:23 PM
I tried doing martingale strategy as I have read some success stories of gamblers about it but I must say that it is not for everyone. I had a bigger risk because I believed that I can recover from my losses by increasing my bet. A gambler who continuously applies this strategy can possibly lose a higher as he tries to win back his losses. I don't think it's profitable especially if we will apply martingale in all the gambling sessions that we have. I'm sure that experienced gamblers can also testify the same thing.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 13, 2023, 03:36:57 PM
<snip>
Although it is possible, I would hardly believe that there is any single person here who gambled enough and still has not experienced getting tilted from the game (s)he played.
My tilted moments are those losing streak moments, especially when I do the Martingale strategy and lose in the end. Those are surely frustrating.

No matter how we control our emotions, there will always be times that we will feel upset because of our losses but if we will correct our mindset and learn how to accept losses, we will be able to move on easily. Losing a streak is very upsetting and could create different t emotions within us but we shouldn't let our emotions control us because it could affect our whole gambling journey and with high emotions, we can make wrong decisions easily.

Since they have experienced being jailed, they should have taken a lesson from it. It is important that we'll know the gambling regulations in each country so we will not experience trouble. Regarding his gambling addiction, it is not your responsibility anymore but as a friend, you must still put an effort to convince him to know his limitations. Even if he doesn't follow your advice, at least you have done your part to remind him of the risks.

534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 12, 2023, 04:32:54 PM
as decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and non fungible tokens (NFTs) become more popular, will they change the way we handle money and own things,

or will they only be used by a small group of people(like now being used) ?
Is they are actually in use? The hype for Defi and NFT over a long time now so the usage is decreasing gradually over the time so I don't think it will grow as you are expecting with the current state of those things.

Also there are many new projects coming up with the name and managed to scam investors so from community point of view we can't expect much support from them so usage of NFT has to find the real use case apart from investment asset.

There were already lots of scamming and hacking incidents through NFTs and Defi projects so we can't blame investors if they will choose well-established projects over them. I don't think it will affect how we manage our funds because investors nowadays are being skeptical about where to invest to avoid scammers and fake projects which are all over the crypto industry nowadays and mostly hiding behind NFTs.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 04:12:28 PM
I recently discovered that I signed up for a casino without thoroughly reading its terms and conditions agreement. But of course this was entirely my fault even that I am still bothered by the withdrawal requirements on deposits. It is well known that deposit bonuses or any bonus offered by a casino will have wagering requirements that goes to x50 or more. What truly concerns me is the 5X wagering requirement on normal deposits without any bonus in order to withdraw the initial deposit or winnings.
To clarify things better here is an example : if you were to deposit $1000 and win $200 in your first few games then you wouldnt be able to withdraw your winnings or even your deposits without wagering at least $5000. This means that 80% of the time, you would lose your money before reaching the required amount.
In my opinion this term is unfair. I am not attacking any specific casino, but I do believe that if users were aware of these requirements they would be less likely to deposit their money in such casinos since there are other casinos without such stringent requirements.
This must be an awareness but we all know that not all casino are the same some of them are following this kind of methods that there are. Alot of requirements before you can withdraw but also there's a casino that after 2-3 wager then you can easily withdraw so. A lesson learn here is that as a gambler we need to know first about the casino read thier terms of conditions (TOC)  in order to know what we need to do to withdraw.

Sometimes we tend to miss reading their conditions but it has a big impact on our gambling journey in the lng run. It is important that we have a complete idea about their wagering conditions and withdrawal rules. There are still reputable casinos that won't require too high wager amounts before withdrawal but we can't actually blame casinos for implementing wager requirements because they also have to manage their business finances and profit.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 12, 2023, 03:57:20 PM
If we talk about sports betting, even the results of that can be based on your luck, though there are more chances of winning if you understand the sport you are betting on and the team that you've chosen, but still, if the win isn't in your destiny, even the favorite team will lose that day.
It's true, a sports betting is more predictable than luck based games because if we're understand the sport, the player or the team, we know how good they're and how possible they will beat their opponent. While in lucky based game there's no clue about the next spin, if you say we can take a look with the pattern, it's wrong because I've done it before. It's really unpredictable and I don't think there's a legit strategy in lucky based games.

Sports betting don't totally rely on luck because we can have basis which could also be an edge upon betting. We can research the strength of players and their background history.
However, there are really luck based games that even if we apply any strategies, the result will still rely on our luck. Lottery and slots are some of them. I also tried applying the pattern strategy but it still didn't work for me.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕖 𝟚𝟘𝟜𝟠 𝕚𝕟 𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕓𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 on: April 12, 2023, 03:37:18 PM
How do you think the game 2048 is suitable for gambling in casinos? Before I started playing in casinos, in my free time I played 2048, I somehow think that in casinos this game will be a success, the game should be with a cashout.  What do you think about it? Huh
I don't think so, maybe the casino will just milk the players out of it or no one will play consider it will be easy to bored with and few players are into this game. So, no. It would have been good if there's a tournament on who will remain until the round is finish or how many points have been collected by the players for specific amount of time.

It's not about getting bored on this game, it's the question whether casino can make money out of it. But based on the responses, the game is beatable and there are cheat codes on it in the internet.

And with that, obviously casinos doesn't want to be in the losing end, they have what we call house edge, if they can't have it, then this kind of games are not going to be listed by them. There should be something here that the casino will have that will make it suitable, otherwise, No to OP's suggestion.

It's actually my first time hearing about the said game though it sounds interesting. However, casinos will adopt such games if they will benefit the casino or would even attract more players. Usually, only common and well-known games are being added to casino sites which could make players stay. It will take a lot of time to test if a game would generate a profit for the casino.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 09:52:02 PM
The market isn't consistent and it's volatile and could easily change your belief in an instant. Speaking too soon about the prices wouldn't always be accurate because anything could happen instantly especially with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is actually pumping along with other coins so we can't say that the hype is over because we didn't even reach the bullish season yet. Anything surprising could happen unpredictably. Instead of worrying that the hype would be over, you better trust the potential coins that we want.

Would you guys mind sharing your vision on the following:
-Do you personally take part in lotteries by online casinos?
-Do you track the progress and results of such campaigns?
-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?

I have tried playing lotteries through online casinos a couple of times but when I wasn't convinced and satisfied with the results, I stopped playing it. I also realized that I was only betting each day without making any profit which I think is just a waste of time and money.
No, I don't track the progress but I'm always curious about the jackpot winner to see if they're honest and transparent. I think providing at least a consolation prize for some players would add more excitement to the game.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2023, 09:21:18 PM
Will there come a time when online casinos will implement that you upload a responsible gambler certificate before you continue to play because of too many government restrictions it's not necessary for newly registered gamblers but for gamblers who lose a lot of money and their activity is they are suspected to be addicted to gambling.

Casino is a business, so if there is no need or regulation to ask player of Respnsible Gambling certificate then they will not ask it.  Besides, the government or the licensing office will have a hard time determining people whether they are responsible gambler or not.  If they present the evaluation with question, then it can be easily cheated by lying on the answers.  So I think that it is impossible for the casino to have such requirement.

The reason why the government will implement this, as a precaution, is to protect people from losing their wealth and their health from too much gambling because of addiction, it's a way of protection.

I do not think the government will implement such kind of regulation.  If the government do then it will greatly negatively affect the gambling business.  And the government doesn't like their tax income hindered, do they?

This particular aspect is very subjective and also, there's no point in implementing it as users can give a different answer to satisfy such requirement.

Players will not exert an effort to provide such a certificate in the future unless all casinos will implement it because if a single casino will do it, gamblers will just look for other casinos with lighter regulations. I also don't get the sense of asking for such a document because KYC would be enough and no one has to show off any proof that they're responsible gamblers.
