1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 01, 2022, 07:12:26 PM

Big blow for Butler's career if this will be postponed.
That's not good, we don't want to see that.

This is his biggest fight so far to finally make it big, his first fight in defending the WBO title is with the Monster. Although less chance of winning, it's an opportunity to make huge pay and at the same time can grab a bit of attention from different boxing organizations. He should congratulate himself still for reaching this height.

Well, it's a unification fight, so they are staking their belts for this fight, Inoue will lose his belts if Butler will succeed here, but to be honest, I don't see it happening, the chance is very slow.

It's a good opportunity for Butler to show off more on the ring so it will be disappointing if they will postpone it. It could be a mismatch but if Butler would take things seriously and prepare a lot before facing Inoue, he could have a good chance of winning. He still has a few months of training so he should learn more on how to counter and have a good defense against Inoue.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: August 31, 2022, 05:20:48 PM
Have you assessed yourself on what kind of gamblers are you, this quiz which is a 2-minute nine-step quiz that will assess you on what kind of gamblers are you after you take the risk to be sure to answer the poll so the community will know how many of us here are Non-Problem Gambler, Moderate-Risk Gambler or High-Risk Gambler.

Quote
This self-assessment is based on the Canadian Problem Gambling Index. The higher your score, the greater the risk that your gambling is a problem.
Self Assessment Quiz

I took the quiz and I wasn't surprised with the result. I'm a low-risk gambler and I always think before I bet especially if I'm risking my hard-earned money. I always value what I worked for so I gamble responsively. It's fine to enjoy gambling especially if we seek entertainment but we shouldn't allow it to ruin our lives. Gambling isn't hardful but our decisions are.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "The Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines" Is this a joke? on: August 31, 2022, 06:17:18 AM
Quote
Guideline 1: Gamble no more than 1% of household income
Don't bet more than 1% of your household income before tax per month. For example, someone with a household income of $70,000 before tax should gamble no more than $58 per month.

This is situational and does not probably work especially for those who have a higher target goal in gambling. It also depends on the income of an individual because if a person is a minimum wager I don't think 1% would be enough as gambling capital. I guess at least 5% will work if a person wants to pursue gambling and has a good target goal to reach. Following a 1% gambling allocation is more likely to advise a person to quit gambling.

Unionbank leads the local bank to adopt cryptocurrency, they are ahead and I believe alam talaga nila ang ginagawa nila and that’s good for everybody.
Wala naman nareceive at narinig na issue when it comes sa KYC nila. Hindi rin ako kakabahan about my identification since kilala silang financial institution sa bansa natin. Also, kung magkaproblema man, marami tayong mapupuntahan na branches para gawin yung KYC or magtanong at magpatulong sa problema. Anyways, May I know kung ano yung issue na nareceive mo about KYC?

Good thing nga at protected at safe sa kanila ang personal details in. Matagal na ring nagaadd ng crypto features and Union bank kaya maraming crypto users are mas gumagamit nito.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 27, 2022, 03:26:59 PM
Since I gamble for entertainment I prefer an entertaining dealer. Someone that is funny because that could ease our negative emotions especially when we're losing. That could lessen the pressure and balance our emotions. However, I believe that good service is more important to consider.

1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: August 26, 2022, 03:24:21 PM
Apart from these kind of spin bonus some casinos offers (or offered) daily, weekly lucky spins which can bring a decent amount of money for certain number of people for every daily or weekly respectively which is quite good because casinos even offered the bonus when the players are not regularly betting there so anyone who wants to try their luck can get the benefit which is somewhat loss for the casino in my opinion but they respect every kind of gambler in their platform so offering a chance to win for anybody equally.
Yep, it's a comeback promotion and some gamblers usually on purpose to be inactive for several days in order to get that promotion, even more they're creating multiple accounts with different IP address in order to maximize the free spins advantages. I'd say a comeback promotion is really important since they will attract an old gamblers which already not active because of busy or retirees, usually gamblers are really looking for a promotion.

Every site with exciting promotions and bonuses really has an advantage when it comes to attracting more gamblers and players. They're able to make the gamblers stay just to claim those bonuses. It is also beneficial to us because we're able to earn without getting funds out of our pocket especially when we hit a good target through their promotions.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 25, 2022, 05:27:09 PM
Perhaps also, the ones who do this often are the gamblers who often win gambling here in crypto gambling. Of course, if you know it's a win if it can be released immediately why would you wait for the game to end?
So far when gambling using cryptocurrency money and already getting a lot of profit or at least a return on investment then I will make a withdrawal to secure the capital used to gamble first then I do gambling with the winnings that I have previously got because if I don't make a withdrawal immediately then the account you use may become unlucky again.
It is a common situation for many gamblers who can profit from gambling. They will try to withdraw that big winning money and get out of gambling. But some use the winning money to gamble again in the hope that they can win even more money. But whatever it is, if you have already made a profit and can withdraw the winning money, it might be better if you withdraw the money and place the money for other bets.

In case of winning a huge amount of profit, I would prefer to withdraw it right away and won't use it again to bet more because I already consider that as greediness. Profit is always a profit regardless of its value so I will be wise to secure my winnings to use it in another round of betting.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 25, 2022, 04:57:17 PM

Yes and it's a privilege because Loma is one of the best lightweight we have right now, and even if Lopez has beaten him, still, his training and fights are worth to watch,, specially if he and Haney will see action next year.

It's premature but just our speculation, I mean this is a dream match, Loma vs Haney. And hopefully we can see this two and no more surprises or derailing of the fight. But we all know Loma, he is not underestimating anyhow and don't look ahead. His motivation is what is in front right now and that is Ortiz.

We are used to seeing Loma getting an easy win although it's a big fight, so maybe it's time for Loma to showcase his skills against a strong opponent like Haney. Both will have their respective fight, hopefully, they'll win on that so maybe next schedule will be them, if it's not gonna happen this year, then maybe early next year.

A strong fighter needs a strong opponent for him to showcase his real skills and strength in the ring. It must serve as a challenge for him but it will also show off his real potential at the same time. Loma has a good record already but showing more of his skills is something to look forward to.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 25, 2022, 03:32:28 PM
I think it's important because this can cause job-related conflict in the future especially if an employee is really addicted to gambling. That doesn't mean that his not fit and needs to seek professional help first. If the interviewer would get to ask any gambling related questions, he should not ask them directly because it might offend the applicant. He should ask it in a good manner.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK on: August 25, 2022, 03:17:14 PM

I'm just hoping it gets made, and doesn't get cancelled like the Joshua vs Fury fight. Obviously, that was due to the Wilder fight, but I seriously don't trust boxing to make the fights that need to happen, actually happen.

Boxing is in a sorry state, because of promoters' decision to get their fighters to fight in the house which means they can only fight fighters that are in their contracts they cannot fight other fighters that are on other promotions, like the Bivol - Beterbiev, the Joshua- Fury, and the Spence - Crawford, they want to keep their cash cow and their goose that lays a golden egg, in the case of Fury, he wants to have more because he is still hot and Usyk is hot and the boxing community always want to settle who is the real champion, this is a hard match to make when boxers are asking for heaven and promoters wants a huge slice of profit, but we'll see in the coming days, Fury has given the deadline.

It will take months to years before this will be finalized. The moment promoters give  in to what Fury is asking, Usyk will also realize that promoters are dying to see them in the ring so why shouln't he demand more as well?

I remember Pacquiao vs Mayweather took years because of the negotiation and all that Floyd do is keep the trashtalks to keep the hype.

Many fans and supporters are looking forward to their match. This could be one of the best matches this year. Fury obviously has a better experience and record than Usyk so I guess he'll be the favorable one here since he has more supporters. It will be a challenge for Usyk but an opportunity at the same time because he is able to make a good noise on the boxing ring.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 24, 2022, 04:02:22 PM
Everybody here has seen the Iranian Hulk Sajad Gharibi match against The Kazakh Titan Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich, these two are fierce rivals as internet sensations for having huge bodies like incredible hulk they finally settle their differences in the ring but unfortunately it's not the kind of fight that we want to see because it's too one-sided and it did not live through the hype
Many Iranians blame Gharibi in this match and are disappointed Gharibi's actions in the ring look bad, they hope Gharibi does his best in the ring, the fact is not what the bettors expected.

From what I watched, the match between Gharibi vs Kazakh must be questioned, whether Gharibi is not ready to fight the Kazakh Titan or indeed there are other elements that need to be questioned, The tKO in the first round was completely inconceivable for me, considering the strength and muscle that Gharibi has, it couldn't have happened like that, funny, like children boxing, indifferent.
I wonder what's the real reason of Gharibi for doing such a thing because it's tok obvious that he has the strong stamina to face Titan fairly. This is unfair to those who bet because it seems like the match was arranged. They should have provided a concrete explanation regarding this fight so viewers and bettors will understand things clearly.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: August 24, 2022, 02:52:21 PM
44 wins no loss.  That's a lot to say about Ramizer.
A long wait, the fight will be on November 5. There will be a lot of analysis we'll see between the two from the sports pickers. He could be right about Ramizer not having many big fights with big names in his pro career. But he does have the reach advantage. Who knows a Southpaw may stop Bovils reign in his division.
In theory Southpaw will have advantage over Orthodox, moreover Ramirez have a reach advantage too, he could jabs Bivol when he's open his hands. I think the only way Ramirez win is via decision, so he will play distance and need to dodge all of Bivol's punch. But who knows Bivol can find a good moment where Ramirez miscalculate the possible move from Bivol and then he get hit by Bivol that would make him fell sleep.

But Ramirez is slow as compare to Bivol, so even if he jabs then maybe Bivol can counter him with his favorite 1-2 punch, the same style and tactics he did with Canelo. But I have to agree that it might be thru decision if he is going to win. But it's going to be very difficult for Ramirez. But if he think his style will beat Bivol, then just continue and don't change anything. Perhaps the adjustment will be in the fight itself. He has the experienced so I expect to somewhat to do for him to win.

I could feel that it will be an easy fight for Bivol but challenging for Ramirez. Bivol is really fast and aggressive during his previous fight which might also be the same this time. Ramirez still has to learn how to counter all the possible punches that Bivol might throw at him. Bivol has a wider experience than Ramirez so I'm sure that he would have a bigger edge in this match.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would you prefer your casino reward? on: August 24, 2022, 02:04:52 PM
I would personally prefer to receive my rewards via cash so I can use them in purchasing different things because if I will pick free spins, I might just lose all of them. As much as possible, I prefer taking profits and rewards right away than betting on them again because I always want assurance. If the site provides a good service, I will just deposit and bet using my allocated funds for betting.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 23, 2022, 04:32:09 PM
I actually have the habit of playing continuously until I reach failure or the target prize that I want to win. I always prefer to be challenged than jumping to another slot without reaching my goal. Yes, I always focus but when I fail, I just move on and hope to feel a lot luckier the next time I play again. That has always been my routine though I have a higher rate of losing than winning.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: August 23, 2022, 06:49:56 AM
And some people also believe there are special amulets that always bring good luck such as the Japanese Maneki Neko, the statue of a cat waving his hand. It is believed to bring good luck wherever the statue is located.
Those are just superstitious believe, because I personally don't believe in that, because if such special amulets were to bring luck, then everybody will be rich by today. Because all you just need to do is buy such amulet, walk into a casino, play a slot game and win a million dollars daily. But it's sad it doesn't work that way. And that's why gambling is a calculative and lucky game which requires experience and patience together with luck, but not the one amulets brings.
Superstition is already part of some cultures so we can't question those who still believe in amulets because they have their own stories behind them. They might get lucky and win a good profit believing that it's because of the amulet. For some people, lucky charms could attract luck. We might not have the same belief as them but whether we tell them that it's not effective, they will still rely on their traditional belief.
1117  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BSP to have crypto education in Philippines. on: August 21, 2022, 03:14:04 PM
It could be a possible tesda course, Pwede nila ipasok ito sa tesda para ma filter din nila yung interested talaga sa cryptocurrency kesa naman mag spend sila ng effort na massive public education na hindi naman sila interested. Also, pwede din i-add yung crypto education sa secondary education and sa economics subject I think. Kahit yung mga general knowledge lang for secondary education students will have an idea about cryptocurrency. Ang pag tuturo ng crypto sa normal students can cause a trigger para ma curious sila lalo, Well open naman ang internet or gagawa ng path ang government for advance learning like tesda.
Tesda is a good option pero sana magkaroon den ng online course kase we know naman you can only apply to TESDA if you hav free time so hinde sya applicable para sa mga working and students, weekend courses can be a big help.

1118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Either Bitcoin will end or we will be at the peak of inflation on: August 20, 2022, 06:04:28 PM
Bitcoin can't solve the inflation crisis and it has nothing to do with it though we can't dent the fact that inflation is one factor that affects the price of Bitcoin negatively. Despite the crisis, I don't think Bitcoin would die that easy. It will crash and strike down but it will never lose its value. Bitcoin has actually been into this kind of situation before but it still remained firm.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your gambling profit percentage limit? on: August 20, 2022, 04:18:25 PM
I'm a small-time gambler and I always make sure to bet responsibly so I could manage my capital wisely. Doubling my initial funds would be enough and as much as possible, I don't aim for too much because I might have a hard time controlling my emotions from feeling too overwhelmed which might lead to greed. Sometimes I stop when I get at least 50% profit.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Influence of "Paid" Streamers on Online gambling..... on: August 20, 2022, 03:15:29 PM
If you ask me I think paid streamers are faking gambling. Its probably all in a secret agreement between them and the gambling casino...

They might, as someone else in this thread already mentioned, get a bunch of fake funds to gamble with, so when they win they can make it look like they made a lot of money and if they lose then they do not actually lose anything of value. Furthermore its all obvious PR and advertisements to get money by referalls. And even if there are regulations in place to prevent this "fake gambling" then the streamers would find a way to fake their winnings for the views anyway without the gambling casino partnerships. They would still get a lot of money from the referalls and other income sources from their viewers.

Obviously the referral reward cost is taken into account and comes from the casino's gambling turnover. So in the end, it's the viewers paying the streamers for duping them into gambling.

This is possible and they're all doing these things in the name of money. They uplift the gambling site by gaining their wins which will benefit both site and the paid streamers. But of course, they will not admit it though their winnings are too good to be true. Their goal is to attract more players by making them believe that they could win as much as the streamers win. The viewers who fall for their trap don't really matter to them so we should be wise and skeptical because not all that we can watch or see on the internet is true.
