1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 04, 2022, 04:16:13 PM
Well, I guess he's expecting to have that ROI for years and I mean a lot of years as that's a huge amount of money. But since Twitter is a user-base company and not that exact will pay for that monthly.

He's a businessman and he's got some plans on it. Maybe he has thought that many are even encouraged to pay for a subscription on onlyfans with $20 or so, I don't know how much exactly is subscription there.  Tongue

He will surely implement rules that will benefit his business. He's actually taking action as the new CEO of the said platform by firing thousands of its employees. According to the news, he's planning to replace the manpower with bots. Seems like he wants to decrease his ROI period. Verified users won't pay that amount just to continue using the platform. It will surely backfire on him because users can easily switch to another platform just to avoid charges.
1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 04, 2022, 03:57:46 PM
Every trader has their own strategies and the usage depends on its effectiveness on their personal journey in trading. As for me, the best strategy is simply having the right mindset and proper management of our emotions.
Trading is a roller coaster ride and it's very challenging to deal with the volatility of the market but if we'll know how to handle our emotions, we will be able to make right decisions which would help in the success of our trading result. We can create our own strategy or even copy the common strategies that professionals use as long as we know the fundamentals of trading.
1023  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 04, 2022, 03:30:59 PM
There's better assurance in a salary-based job than in a commission-based job. Commision-based jobs offer a higher salary but there's no guarantee that you could always win clients especially if the account is too complex. In a salary-based job, you only have to perform your best to fulfill all the given tasks and you will be paid accordingly. Those who seek assurance and stability would prefer to receive a salary regularly.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 03, 2022, 03:31:17 PM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after being told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgeted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could a low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?

A lower minimum deposit and withdrawal amount will be an advantage to small-time gamblers who seek fun and entertainment. It matters to them and that's the reason why there are already lots of casino sites that offer lower deposit amounts so those who are budgeted beginning funds could enjoy and try out their site easily. It will also be a good strategy to attract and keep more players on their site.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling winner identity on: November 03, 2022, 02:55:01 PM
Quote
what do you think, is the man's action right or if you experience it (win a big jackpot) will you do as the man did or even be honest with your victory to your family??

That man hit a very huge amount of jackpot and as for me, it's important to keep our identity in private but hiding your winnings from your wife and children is too much. If I would win that amount, I want my wife and children to experience a luxurious wife because I believe that they deserve that but I won't disregard educating them on how to value money and how to maximize it. I don't think hiding such huge amount to your family will bring you peace. You can hide it from the people around you but not in your own household.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: November 02, 2022, 04:25:08 PM
You know how casinos have set certain slots to only pay a certain amount to a winner, it is also possible that casinos are using an algorithm to limit how much it can payout for players coming from certain locations to avoid being dragged into legal disputes if a player is paid big money and the local authorities want to know the source and the alike?
I've never heard of such a case in crypto online casinos, by using an algorithm to limit winnings, isn't that forbidden that's not fair the casino you mean even is not worth it. Regarding the amounts of crypto withdrawals, it should be the same limit as users in legal gambling countries if it's a different possibility is fiat money only but for crypto the same limit.
Fairness should be implemented for everyone who is playing on the gambling site. Their fair treatment of their players when it comes to winning withdrawals regardless of their country will reflect on their reputation. There are already countries that restrict some casino games from specific providers but implementing algorithms with unfair payment is too unjustifiable.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 02:54:13 PM
I personally prefer sports betting. The risk is still there but we could have an edge if we know how the sports work and the capability of the players of our choice. It's luck based but has an advantage compared to other forms of gambling. We can bet based on our familiarization with the sports as well as the skills of the players.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 9600$ in dice by mistake with 2% chance on: November 01, 2022, 04:50:02 PM
I deposited today 200 usd and didnt notice that the odds to win were on  2%. Click first bet and  and boom won 9600 usd.

And it all made by mistake with only 200.0 usd

First of all congratulations on your win but i do not understand why you said you won by mistake. Sine you write that you bet with "ONLY 200 USD" which means that you wanted to bet with big amount but BY MISTAKE you bet with only 200$. Is this what you meant to say ?

You should know that gambling is a risky game and you could have lost 200$ or whatever the amount with which you gambled. So if you have bet with big amount, the risk also increases. So in future if you think you should be careful and not risk big amounts in gambling.
Op is too lucky to win such huge amount by mistake. Maybe, that day was destined to be your lucky day but don't expect that the same thing could possibly happen the same way again so be careful about your next moves the next time you play. 2% is just a little chance for you to hit a good prize but you shouldn't disregard the fact that you could also lose that 200usd in just one click so take it as a lesson.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: November 01, 2022, 03:59:59 PM
Like the big  voted we have here? i can quit anytime I wanted because I am a type pf person that has control over gambling tough some times I can be playing longer than planned but the totality of my activities relies on my willingness to continue or stand.
so I will always gamble when I want and quit when I wanted.
means you can control yourself and even I believe you can control your emotions too in playing gambling games, it seems you are not someone who easily falls into gambling let alone addicted, I think it's hard to be like you sometimes people can't control themselves while having fun in gambling games they unconsciously have fallen into the game and are addicted

Falling into gambling addiction will cause you to fail in life so as much as possible, we should know when to stop especially if it's already affecting our life negatively. I'm just a small-time gambler and despite being too overwhelmed with my gameplay sometimes, I always make sure to put limits and proper control of everything. It's just a matter of self-discipline for us to be able to quit gambling whenever we want. We shouldn't wait for the worst situation to happen before we stop.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 29, 2022, 02:43:55 PM
Money, as the root of all evil, can reveal the true colors of a person no matter how close you are to each other. It can break friendships and relationships. If I were Charles, I will just let karma do its way to teach Kelvin a lesson. I know that no matter how luxurious his life becomes, he will still be bothered by his conscience. I will move on with my life and take a lesson with me that even our closest friends will betray us when it comes to money. That I shouldn't trust anybody when money is involved.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lottery's defense to not paying a huge winning. on: October 29, 2022, 02:16:11 PM
It's better if they will provide concrete proof and evidence to support their accusations because it will be too unfair if the player is innocent and won't receive any payment from them. If they will not be able to prove it, then they are just making excuses. Their reputation and credibility will be hardly affected. They should be fair by any means and if the player is innocent, I hope he will get the justice and payment that he deserves.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino with an online and offline branch. on: October 28, 2022, 03:40:01 PM

its easier to roll out an online casino and can massively advertised to all without having to worry since owners can be unknown. a land case casino will likely be want to have their own digital casino too, this is way easier to promote online for they can build trust easy. but its unlikely to see online casino planing to have their own physical casino, that's too much of a work for nerds who just want to sit and work smart online. Grin
Physical casinos still want innovation like switching into online casinos but unfortunately, we don't have any physical casinos that has also have an online casino site in our area. Maybe because most online casinos are earning as big as physical casinos do so having a physical establishment wouldn't be a priority to them. We all know that those people who choose online casinos over physical ones nowadays want anonymity and privacy and I guess online casinos have the same reason why they don't prioritize having a physical casino.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: October 27, 2022, 04:45:33 PM
Some Muslim countries ban gambling and that should be respected since that's part of their religious belief. Some countries restrict gambling because they focus on the betterment of their citizens. No wonder why some people from the mentioned countries travel abroad just to gamble. There are actually many foreign gamblers who visit our country just to enjoy the freedom of gambling here. Countries that ban and restrict gambling has their own reason but we can't deny the fact that gamblers will always find ways to gamble.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: October 27, 2022, 04:16:45 PM
We've already seen Mbitcasino and BitStarz casinos in the list of the best casinos several times, although many users have complained about them. In my opinion there are more worthy casinos to be in the list of the best that's why I think this list is not quite right and these two casinos definitely shouldn't be there. So it's better to bypass them and always independently research reviews about this or that gambling area and not trust such lists.
I agree, it's better to view the list with a grain of salt when there are several casinos that are miles better than the first two in terms of reputation and overall quality.

Now, those that are curious as to why they've chosen those casinos to be part of the top 5, there is only one reason behind it.
They could be sponsored by a company that's not related to any of the sites mentioned in the list but still, sponsored or not, their own list of top gambling sites alone shows that we shouldn't take the rankings seriously.

There are still other casino sites that provide better and more promising services than those that aren't on the list. Only those who have experienced their good services could testify and compare them one by one. However, each reputable casino has its edges especially when it comes to bonuses and promotional offers. It still depends on how good they are at keeping their players.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Prefer Online Casinos to Land-based Casinos on: October 27, 2022, 03:51:06 PM
^

Of course online casinos and betting shops have some advantages for gamblers, which mainly save our time, but none of them can not convey the atmosphere of the same Las Vegas or other major entertainment centers, where you can not only play a variety of gambling games, but also to spend time in a friendly company.

Convenience is one of the reasons why most gamblers prefer online casinos over physical ones. Through our gadgets, we're able to enjoy gambling anytime and anywhere. Its accessibility makes our gambling journey easier and we will also be able to save a little as well as control our funds since we could play comfortably where we can focus and create better decisions alone.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 25, 2022, 05:10:40 PM
Here in our country, the names of those who win the lottery every week are made public but their faces are not included, or if the mainstream media interviews any lotto winners, they obscure the face of the winner and change his voice as well, to maintain the privacy that is called, and sometimes when it is okay for the winner to be interviewed face-to-face, they also agree, depending on the permission given by the winner.

But in other gambling games that win big money in offline casinos here in our country, they don't publish the winner's face.

It actually sounds quite ominous - what is the crime situation in your country in general that people who win a small amount of money (I'm guessing a small amount since the draw is held every week) are so afraid for their privacy? Maybe it's just a tradition, but if it's a necessity, then the situation is rather sad.
Crime occurs not because there is an intention from the perpetrator, but because there is an opportunity. People who win a small amount of money or a large amount will always be on the lookout for evil that can happen at any time. maintaining privacy by blurring their face when interviewed by the mainstream media will reduce the level of crime risk to them, and caution will lead to safety.
Sharing big wins in public will only attract crimes regardless of our motive. We should know that criminals will always be everywhere and just waiting for their next prey so we must be cautious and try not to fall for their trap. Our privacy is important especially if a huge sum of money is involved. It is not necessary to publicize it. We should be the ones to avoid criminals.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will This Habit Lead You To Chase Your Losses And Addictive To Gambling on: October 25, 2022, 04:18:56 PM
Do you think it's unhealthy to always post your winnings on social media and forums because this habit will lead you to chase your losses and bet more so you can post your winning, I find this habit forming and this is bad especially if people are following you and always looking forward to your winning posts.
usually people share the winnings to encourage other players that they can get the same luck as him, but unfortunately the people who follow him are not as lucky as him so usually their money is drained in the same game, this is where we learn that luck only exists once for one winner will not be repeated for other winners in the same game, so actually it's not healthy but for the sake of getting profit from the referral link maybe that person posted his win to be more convincing
It is unhealthy to share your gambling result on your social media platform because it can cause chaos in the future. Convincing your social media friends to do the same thing because of your earnings will not be a good idea. For sure, they will get attracted to your gambling result because of your profit but it might have a bad effect on them in the long run because they will just disregard the risk believing that they can have the same luck as you that may result in losses.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much is your reputation worth? $500 or $50,000. on: October 22, 2022, 02:37:48 PM
Some people would rather spend thousands of dollars just to defend their innocence and to protect their reputation but as for me, I would rather choose peace than spend a long time defending myself on the court with a long series of processes. It will take a long time before the decision happens. I will have to spend a lot of money and time so I'd rather pay $500 just to end things.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 21, 2022, 01:21:29 PM
If the casino is having losses due to their player's winnings then they should put limitations or even stop their promotion. Banning or punishing their players will affect their reputation and trust rate. If they want to keep their players, they should value them especially if they are not violating any rules. We can't blame players who are farming bonuses because it's already an open chance to have free play.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: October 21, 2022, 12:47:46 PM
Story 1
A man stole his girlfriend's 10k to place a bet. He won 100 million and returned 10k to his girlfriend. His girlfriend is furious and demands 40 million dollars.
He is cruel to just return back the 10K he stole without adding any compensation for stealing. At the point where he stole it he had no idea what his girlfriend intended to use that money for. By stealing the money he has forced her to forfeit what she wanted to do for his benefit as a result of that I think she deserves more than the 10K, but at the same time the girlfriend should not demand a specific amount considering that it may sound as a sense of entitlement, but something more than 10k.

Story 2
An apprentice who won 16 million naira on BET was asked by his boss to split the money into two parts. This 50 - 50. As the story goes, people sided with his boss, and he had no choice but to comply. It's important to remember that the money used to bet belongs to the apprentice, not the boss.
If I have been long in the apprenticeship and I am apprenticing for something freely that could earn me good money in the future and my boss has been really nice providing my needs the while I have been there, I can consider splitting it to assist him as compensation for catering for me and accepting me as an apprentice who didn't pay him.

Stealing is stealing and the result will not justify it. He stole money from his girlfriend that that's a form of being dishonest. As for me, the girlfriend has the right to demand because that was her money and she actually deserves more. She's a victim and it will be unfair if he will just returns that 10K as if nothing happens. He seems like a user.

The boss has the authority to do that because of his position but he should still be considerate and show compassion to his apprentice. They both deserve a good win and splitting it wouldn't be a good idea.
