i think we can reach $500 at this week everyday bitcoin will growing more stonger That's way too optimistic of a look at the price. The last times we were heading up we found resistance first at 475, then at 465, and finally at 425. It's going to take a hell of a lot of work to bust through all of those points, and if we do hit 500 so many people are going to sell their gains as fast as they can. I think we'll be seeing a nice little price raise through the coming time, but I'm not so sure we'll be heading for anything close to 500 for quite a while. Quite a while? It can go there in under 2 weeks. I'm not saying it definitely will, but it certainly could.

"With the biggest governing bodies of the world; USA, China, Russia and EU cracking down on bitcoin while making sure the established banks now own the patent to the technology, the scam the community is making out of bitcoin is so obvious it's mind-boggling how people don't see it. "This is what a Russian ban on bitcoin looks like... and that's only on localbitcoins.com. As for the rest of your assertions.. they're baloney and already rebutted further up-post.

They said BTC is dead, far from it.
Haha, yes, this is so true! I had absolutely no fear or thoughts about selling any coins with the recent dip. Bitcoin has 'died' so many times that by now I am sure it's immortal. There is this website, that tracks all the times bitcoin was declared 'dead'.. https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/

They first gonna make large dump by selling those lots of coin they get from the arrested bitcoin holders like silk road owners etc and we all will sell being panic. Than government will tie up with large banks and keep on buying on the background. In this way they can manipulate the market in future easily like some of them do with gold and silver till now.
Hpmm... you do know that the last lot of coins from SR have already been auctioned off, don't you?

Dec 16th..
Well, i thought i might as well just guess, like everyone else. It's on a nice little uptrend at the moment.. 500 should come soon. I doubt it will last though.. i've a feeling that many people will sell around this price, it will come back down after reaching it.
I think it will take a few attempts at breaking through to get a stable price north of 500. But what do i know? Bitcoin continually surprises us all.

Almost 2k CNY, this is crazy....
Doesn't surprise me. People need to start realizing that in e.g. the US you lose 2% of your net worth each year. Bitcoin helps you avoid these things ...by losing up to 75% a year. and it has many more benefits besides this one,
...like allowing you to fund USMS through various DNMs. Also terrorists You are just pathetic. Nobody ever used fiat for terrorists funding. Yea right. Do you beat of to every other response you get? Troll like you are just a poor looser. Get a life *loser Fiat is also used to buy food and build roads and stuff. Bitcoin? Funding the USMS via unanimous donations is only one of the fun things it can do. Bitcoin' also for extortionists, kidnappers, drug addicts, pedophiles, degenerate gamblers, ponzi promoters and ...have I missed anything? Oh yeah, you can also try to pay fake Angels for fake murders, there's that... You've described politicians quite well there.. but you failed to mention them specifically. So, you have missed politicians off of your list. In America, the government voted (unanimously, i believe) to allow bitcoin for political and electoral donations. So that kinda rubber stamps it for anyone...

Point taken!
Bonds not equal to currencies.

It is interesting that so many people here talk about buying bitcoin and holding it for next 5, 10, 20 years, as they expect the price will be much higher by then.
At the same time, I am guessing most of them would say that bitcoin is a currency rather than an asset. Yet the thinking seems to be to treat it more like an asset (like gold), then a currency. It's not often we hear people saying they are going to buy US dollar, or Indian Rupee of Chinese Yuan and hold it for next 10 years, because they think its value will appreciate.
AHEM.. 10 Year $US Government Bonds are what now exactly??

Fairly certain it's true - it's the first time I've seen the actual letter, but I know that the signatories support BIP101. 1. I believe it's already been "priced in", and that it is, in part, the reason for the price stagnation over the past several weeks. 2. That depends on the outcome of the meeting! e.g. if the meeting finishes with no consensus, I'd view it as bearish. If the meeting ends with everyone hugging - well, that'd be bullish! My opinion only, others may (will!) disagree, don't bet your house on anything I say! thanks a lot!!!.i wanted to ask how can 1 be following the events of the meeting in canada on monday or will it be held closed doors? thank you. just to answer you.. head on over to coindesk.. they're live blogging it.. i can't guarantee how exciting it is going to be however... http://www.coindesk.com/live-blog-consensus-2015-as-it-happens/Also on twitter with the hashtag: #Consensus2015
