221  Economy / Economics / Re: Shitcoins are necessary for the economy on: March 15, 2018, 09:37:09 AM
Its quite debatable to say that shitcoins become a necessity for the crypto economy as there is a need to understand from both the sides of the coin while it seems like a double edged sword. Assuming it to be a scummy ponzi scheme, there is always possibilities of innocent investors falling prey and this has happened a lot in the past.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the Bitcoin Market Crashing? on: March 09, 2018, 09:59:39 PM
Why is the bitcoin market crashing?
When will the cryptocurrency market bounce back?

Current crashes are due to the unrelenting rumors that Binance, a famous cryptocurrency exchange was hacked, even though the exchange itself denounced it as fake news.
It will take quite some time for the cryptocurrency market to rebound as everything seems to be in the red zone but Bitcoin can be expected to bounce back the fastest.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: March 09, 2018, 08:47:12 PM
Again, this isn't the first time that an exchange is being allegedly hacked and this won't be that last. Mt Gox was probably just a big example of how a hacked exchange contributes to price dumps even after a long time after it happened.
$7k is the lowest it is going to hit in my opinion and anything lower is a sign that the dump is pretty hard and recovering is going to take a lot of time given that Bitcoin was undergoing hard times.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to have their own digital currency based on blockchain technology on: March 09, 2018, 06:34:52 PM
These Chinese people making the calls regarding cryptocurrencies are pretty much messed up in the head. First, they ban all Bitcoin and altcoin exchanges in an attempt to become some sort of regulating entity and now they are making their own blockchain backed altcoin. Expecting this to be a big failure as the communist government will be in firm control of this currency, making it highly centralised.
225  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 2018 forecast on: March 09, 2018, 12:30:04 PM
Like who the hell is this trying to fuel Cardano to pump here? Need to do better than that to try to convince us into believing that an altcoin will overtake Bitcoin in terms of market cap. It would take a miracle for anything other than Ethereum to take over Bitcoin's position as number one in market cap leader and this could only be the eventuality of a hard decline of Bitcoin.
Also, it is unlikely that Bitcoin will reach up to $43k by the end of the year as it is looking grim just to stabilize around the $10k mark for now. Going to have this prediction in my mind and will hope it does reach there!
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Markets take a slump after stable week. on: March 09, 2018, 12:06:02 PM
Its being observed that rumors of binance hacking induced a downward trend in Crypto world.Early this week cointelegraph reported a possible hack affecting the largest crypto exchange by trade volume,it affected the trade volume resulted into price slum.As per coinmarketcap the total market cap fell around $391 bln.The purpose of writing all of this is to depict only that how a small unpleasant incident may affect the whole market cap.

This isn't the first time that the entire altcoin market is going into a slumber after a breakthrough news popped up and it won't be the last either. There is a lot riding on news which affects the price of cryptos directly.
Just 2 months ago, we were witnessing coinmarketcap summing up the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies just above $800 billion and today it is less than half of the former value. This clearly shows how much of a beating that the market has taken due to unprecedented hacks and other stupid incidents.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ? on: March 09, 2018, 11:53:50 AM
We're not even a quarter into the year yet and predicting if the market does good or bad for the entirety of the year is a hard task. Let alone the fact that the prices swing like the western winds, with the good/bad happenings being the source of the swings. Yet, I would predict that Bitcoin would continue breaking even with the five digit figure by the end of the year, while the altcoin market would continue to bleed.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: GOX crashing bitcoin price Why not just delete their wallet from the blockchain? on: March 09, 2018, 11:43:05 AM
Gox is crashing the bitcoin price again!

There's one news or the other that is always circulating in the market which is causing enough FUD in people to bring the prices drastically down the hill. Two weeks later, nobody will even remember this Mt Gox anymore, but just the faint memories of a big exchange being hacked in the early days.

Why not just delete their wallet from the blockchain? Or create a forked new bitcoin without them in it?

This isn't even a possibility to think of because if every case of hack or loss of coins were forked just to delete the lost coins, we would have had thousands of forks by now. Remember that the maximum supply is fixed and forking would bring that number down, again which isn't entirely possible to pull off.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: March 09, 2018, 07:35:43 AM
Better off to try building up own strategies rather than relying Martingale or any other overused strategy.
What I would recommend is having a small initial bet with fairly big three or four digit multipliers. Gotta get used to seeing a lot of reds, but just one green hit will overturn those losses and get you into the profit zone.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: March 09, 2018, 07:23:46 AM
According to some sources, Binance was hacked just to hide the sale bitcoin of the Japanese (mt.gox) ( ~800k BTC ). If there are more information about the hacking exchange. Then, BTC breaking below 4xxx, maybe 2k5, I think the best way : u should to sell all your BTC, altcoin. All exchange will die. Thats' the second mt.gox. ***Attention from now until 7/4/2018.
The Chinese exchange is not easy to hack. If so, it is deliberate......

You're giving these details as if you just woke up from a coma which was induced by the Chinese mafia uppercutting your face.
Binance denounced the hack/phishing rumor which was spreading like wildfire for the last 24 hours and it seems this is just another attempt at spreading FUD to manipulate the market even further. Can't see it dropping below 7k as it already seems to be stabilizing, moving past the rumors.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The idea of encryption on: March 09, 2018, 06:51:55 AM
If 2017 is a dream for cryptocurrency fans, they will soon be back to reality in 2018. The value of bitcoin has risen by 100 per cent in the past year, but has fallen by nearly 30 per cent so far this year. So do many other currencies. The encryption market will start to recover moderately, but investors are warning of a cruel reality - the instability of cryptocurrency is a double-edged sword. If you want to try to "land on the moon," you have to be ready to hit the earth.

So your opinion of encryption?

I do not understand point of your post, encryption is just an algorithm which keeps records of transactions secure, unlike physical ledgers which can be manipulated by handwork. The sooner the the world realizes that this is a foolproof implementation of traditional ledgers, the faster it will open up to blockchain backaed cryptocurrencies. This is the future and only when investors realize it will they be able to fearlessly invest into it which indirectly affects the prices in a positive manner.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: The diamond industry is a scam. Diamond has no intrinsic value. on: March 09, 2018, 06:41:15 AM
Diamond is made from carbon, the most abundant element on planet Earth.
It can now be easily and cheaply mass produced (e.g. synthetic diamond).

The only difference between synthetic diamonds and "natural" diamond is that the latter may possess some kind of defects.
So people are pretty much paying a premium on 3D covalently bonded compressed carbon not for the Diamond itself but for those defects (which can also be forged in a proper high-end lab).

Why don't you buy some of this so called 'synthetic diamond', conduct scientific experiments on the same and prove to the world that it is actually not the naturally available allotrope of carbon? Like a wise man said, "Extraordinary accusations require extraordinary proof." and expose the so called bogus diamond industry at your will.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are babies on: March 09, 2018, 06:28:48 AM
10 years for a new type of currency is nothing, it is the youngest age. Cryptocurrencies are babies and their fate can not be predicted, especially their course in the future. A huge number of factors affect them, the degree of influence of each of them can not be predicted, especially their impact in the aggregate. And you're trying to predict the course with high accuracy. This madness! This is a coffee-thick fortune-telling!You'll never guess! Try to refute me!

Completely agreed. Let's not forget the fact that even before traditional currency system (coins and notes) existed, the world used Barter system for centuries.
It is almost impossible to accurately predict the future of cryptocurrencies especially because it is just a decade old and there are various factors dictating the price and pace of trade. Probably going to take a few more years before all nations come to a mutual agreement that cryptocurrencies are useful to the world.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 08, 2018, 07:45:19 PM
Arsenal on the verge of pulling off an all time low dating back from 1977 might have just saved themselves with an unthinkable 2-0 lead at half-time in Italy. It is very strange to have seen the gunners struggle against Brighton with Aubameyang and leading Milan 2-0 without Auba. None the less, this looks like a straight up, guaranteed quarter final entry for Arsenal this time as it looks highly unlikely that Milan can overturn the deficit.
235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you want to be successful in trading.. on: March 08, 2018, 07:05:47 PM
I have seen a tip from somewhere that in order for you to be become successful always in your trading, you have to to a sniper rather than a machine gunner..

This is completely dependent on the combat range, which in this case is the continuous fluctuation of price for any token. Long range sniping i.e long term holding is ideal given it comes with patience, but machine gunning with good recoil control i.e making the right calls during day trading can also net decent profit.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany Won’t Tax Cryptocurrencies Used To Make Purchases on: March 07, 2018, 11:27:45 AM
This is pretty much ideal news for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general as countries are pushing forward to make them exempted from taxes. Its time for the other European Union countries to step up and follow Germany's stance here which would make EU a tax-free haven for people using cryptocurrency for payments.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 07, 2018, 09:42:20 AM
The most important point that online crypto casinos should keep in mind is to push updates based off of user feedback. Lets say a majority of the user base dislike certain features or parts of the site, the casino should keep up and tweak it in a way that users will return to play because of the new updates.
Regarding the options in the poll, almost every choice rings true as those are simple steps in the right direction for any casino to attract more crowd to play on their website.
238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need Help In Understanding The Significance Of Market Cap & Volume(24hr) & More on: March 07, 2018, 09:09:22 AM
Most of the other replies here would've already answered most of your questions but I'll emphasize on the importance of the 24 hour volume data.
Basically, newer or unfamiliar tokens are subject to a lot of pump and dump action which involves huge buy-ins at a lower price and a sell-off at a higher price. This can easily be figured out just keeping en eye on the trade volume in the last 24 hours. If the volume seems way higher than the past few days, it would be wise to stay away from it until it reaches a stabilization point.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPU Mining for 2018 on: March 07, 2018, 08:56:40 AM
What are the current coins that are profitable on mining using CPU?

I'm currently mining ETN but no luck.

Honestly what would be the point of CPU mining? Whatever token it maybe, your electricity bills would just shoot up and there's a good chance of your PC being getting damaged due to the extensive heat if not sufficient cooling is provided. Just focus on better prospects like GPU mining (given you have a decent card), airdrops or maybe bounty campaigns for a better shot making more than obsolete CPU mining.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: What does that mean for the average investors? on: March 07, 2018, 08:33:10 AM
What does that mean for the average investors? Even if you happen to "guess correctly" and avoid some downswing in the market, how much was plain luck and how much was solid prediction? would you be able to replicate a prediction when even experts, with the advantage of time and information, get it wrong too?

The amount of risk involved with making calls when it comes down to cryptocurrencies is very overwhelming. One right call and you'll be minting hundreds or even thousands in a matter of hours and at the same time, one unforeseen wrong call can see your portfolio collapse to the ground.
Following predictions from signal groups or similar entities is just fine as long as they are getting most of their calls on point. This can easily be understood by listening into them for a couple of weeks and seeing how their calls turn out to be. Even they could be wrong at times but with a large pool of followers, they are ought to be right on most occasions.
