God knows how many of these sites have trojans and keyloggers in them. My advice: if you deal with bitcoins regularly, then keep out of unknown porn sites. Stick with the known and trusted ones.  Grin

Be cautious while browsing any of those sites. Even if you are curious to browse those sites , use virtual machine .You may get malware from any of those sites .
Or use linux or mac! Or why not linux in a sandboxed VM on a mac? Cheesy
That would show those hackers a thing or two! Grin
222  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make a lot money online? on: April 26, 2014, 09:31:10 AM
I`d focus on getting a job or freelance so you can buy bitcoin.

Or other online ventures, but freebitcoin and other faucets may be good only if you have some form of marketing plan to scale.
You will not get rich from faucets. The payout is just way to low (by obvious reasons). You'd better stick with freelancing.
Another idea I got was to start growing cannabis on an industrial scale and sell online! That would make you quite some money! Grin

I don't drink at all, I don't like the way it makes me feel.  Usually after a couple beers I'm ready to go to sleep.  Then I wake up feeling like crap.  But I do smoke weed occasionally.  I also think it is downright silly that social activities are supposed to include alcohol.  What do people do on the weekends?   They go to clubs and drink.  Why?  The last thing on my mind after drinking is sex.  And when I drink I do not behave like myself.  So lets all drink and act like someone else and socialize, great idea.  Two beers for me equals a limp dick and bedtime.  Oh and I forgot, the music.  We want to socialize but we turn the music up so loud you can barely converse.  Makes perfect sense.
That's because we are afraid. We're not happy and secure with ourselves, and we want to be someone else. Do stuff you wouldn't do otherwise, and if you fuck up you can just claim "I was drunk".

there is nonalcoholic beer that tastes just like beer. my dad let me try it when i was 13. also, frank on the US shameless had a nonalcoholic beer since his liver went caput.
Really? What kind was that? The only kinds I've tried has tasted like wheat mixed with water, lol! Cheesy
There are also some non-alcoholic wines. They don't really taste wine (at least not the kinds I've tried), but they are quite good anyway.
The thing is that alcohol mixes with the rest of the tastes, and therefore adds to the overall taste. Pure alcohol tastes like shit though.

Did you try a wheat based one?
Nope, it was Staropramen Non-alcoholic. Completely horrible! Tongue

It looks like the "word" my 3-year old nephew formed by haphazardly adding random letter tiles. LOL

How do you even pronounce it?!?  Huh
Lol, it sounds a bit like that, yes!
Here's a song explaining how to say it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BXKsQ2nbno Cheesy
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch?
Yeah, that's a litecoin address.

Haha, would have been quite awesome if it was real! Cheesy
the moment I saw the name I though of Finland or something around the region (another volcano island or something), I wasn't that far, but still surprised by the location
Nah, finnish towns has names like: "Roollujuntäävijokkanen" and stuff, (Kollujuntäävijokkanen was completely made up by me though)! But there is a finnish town with a really long name: Äteritsiputeritsipuolilautatsijänkä! Grin
I wasn't sure if you were making that up until I Googled it.
same here..! the first thing i did after reading OP is selected the text rigt clicked and clicked on " Search google for Llanf....." and i was surprised when it turned out to be a real place..!

i also think that maybe OP is just kidding Cheesy
anyway probably the person who named that town is drunk at that time or gone nuts Cheesy
No… He was just welsh! Cheesy

Alchohol makes me feel sick.
You mean overall or when you drink a bit much (which would be normal)? I know a few people who barely touched alcohol in their life too.

it dehydrates me very fast.. and i get red. it makes me feel like shit either during or after. beer and any alcohol also tastes like ass.
Nobody (almost) likes the taste of alcohol. People want the effects and the social thing it is to drink in many cultures.

u sure about that? people talk about which beer they like the most, or how vodka tastes with juice or coke (or whatever). if they didn't like the taste, i'm not sure why people talk about preference so much.
Yes, but few people like the taste of alcohol. Therefore you often add other things as well, like juice or coke. And in beer the alcohol level is so low it doesn't taste that strong.

The shawshank redemption is worth seeing.

One of my favourite films.

Definitely a movie to be watched , one of the great .

I don't think there's many people who havent seen it.

I don't think I have seen it.
Might check it out later.

Shawshank Redemption is a timeless must see movie. Easily in my personal top 10 of all time.
I didn't see it until a few weeks ago. I was surprised that I'd never even heard about it! I mean a movie that good? It definitely deserves a place on ones top 10 list!

I am god.  You are too.
Dank stop trolling.

I'm surprised that the majority voted for being an atheist.

I am not the one trolling.  We are conscious spiritual beings having a human experience.
Has he just got banned? No idea. Or it is just a title.
Do you mean his scammer tag? He has had it for quite some time.
232  Other / Off-topic / Re: Religion Poll on: April 25, 2014, 02:24:45 PM
But how do you know that for example your phone is real? Your parents are real? Are they real?
The world is real, right? How do you know? The question is quite difficult.
Do we or will we ever know true reality? Are we stuck in a world in which the best we can do is be approximately true?
The world is just a reflection of what our senses tells us. Therefore we can change it however we want, and what we feel and experience is real. If you feel your phone is real, it is to you.
It it exist outside your mind is a good question though, but it's not relevant if it's true to you.
233  Other / Off-topic / Re: How, in the end, do you think the world will end? on: April 25, 2014, 02:17:58 PM
I do not know which end of the world has biggest percentage, but I know that we are very irresponsible to our planet and all creatures on it. If you ask me we are so unpredictable that we can avoid every disaster, but also we can create every disaster, so haha I am not sure. I hope just that we will be better to our planet and to all creatures in close future.
The reason we're not more responsible is because when we evolved it was much more important to take short-term decisions. But evolution has not been able to keep up with technological advancements. Therefore we don't take the decisions that's best for humanity long term.

We have the village with the longest name we should find the town/village with the shortest name .
There are a few that are longer:
Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu, New Zeeland. It currently has the world record in longest one word name.
It translates: The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one.

Then of course we have:
Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit, Thailand. It's also know as Bangkok! Tongue
Translation:
City of angels, great city of immortals, magnificent city of the nine gems, seat of the king, city of royal palaces, home of gods incarnate, erected by Visvakarman at Indra's behest.

Wow. I did not know this. So you're not allowed to drink there?
Well limiting the consumption might be a good thing, but not banning it permanently.

These are the nations where consumption of alcohol is forbidden:

Afghanistan
Bahrain (Partial)
Bangladesh
Brunei
Iran (Partial)
Iraq (Partial)
Kuwait
Libya
Mauritania
Pakistan (Partial)
Saudi Arabia
Sudan
Yemen (Partial)
Qatar  (Partial)
United Arab Emirates (Partial)
That doesn't mean it's that hard to get a drink though, even if you're a muslim. I've heard a few stories from arabic friends I know. If you ask "Do you serve alcohol here?" in a restaurant, they will probably say "No". However, if you just order alcohol like it was the most natural thing to do, many will serve you. Maybe not in Saudi Arabia though, none of them has tried as far as I know.

Lubuntu standard wallpaper Smiley
I think that is much better than for example Ubuntu one. It's actually better than most standard images!

Bitcoins can be counterfeited, and therefore only criminals use it.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's everyone's bitcoin story? on: April 25, 2014, 08:06:38 AM
I read about it on another forum in 2011 I think. Didn't investigate it more back then, rediscovered it in 2012 and started following it, and well, here I am. Didn't sign up for this forum until 2013 though! Tongue

I would try to purchase your 1st bitcoin experience on localbitcoins.com or some other popular site instead of this forum.

I hear countless amount of scams like the person above me linked.

If you dont trust anyone on localbitcoins.com the next best place to buy it would be coinbase.
Or bitstamp if you're not american. Bitstamp is very reliable IMO. Needs verification though.
If you want to be sure you don't get scammed, you buy the bitcoin with cash, face to face with the seller. You hand the cash over when the transaction is confirmed.
