221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ulrich Klopfer found with 2246 preserved fetal remains on: November 12, 2019, 12:02:48 AM
I mean when an abortion happens I highly doubt that many states classify this as remains and force the medical provider to give them back in some sort of way. Even found an article on the matter titled "Dead Featuses are not 'Remains''' -
You see, apart abortion and human aspect of it, there is case of ownership of those parts.
Legal definitions are clear, everything your body produces, belongs to you. It is your physical possession.
If at some point, you are being misled about the future fate of those pieces than a widow for a legal case can be opened.
That's why some states decided to introduce those cremation laws, to prevent legal chaos.
That's how it is when people mess with basic rights, like the right to live. Hard for me to think more about all this.
If hell exists it resembles our world... like a mirror.
222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ulrich Klopfer found with 2246 preserved fetal remains on: November 11, 2019, 11:37:27 PM
I'd love to hear the argument against PP doing this.
1. Did "mom" gave written permission to use her "produce" as a test subject?
2. Did dad gave permission to use his "produce" as a subject of medical experiments?
3. Where they both informed about the possibility of such experiments?

If all or just one of those answers is no, than we have a case of mismanage, depravation of "property" rights, theft and misdemeanour, that is fraud by concealment. That's for starters.
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ulrich Klopfer found with 2246 preserved fetal remains on: November 11, 2019, 11:25:55 PM
What do you think Klopfer was doing with the fetuses? Why was he keeping them?
Serial killers like to collect trophies.
He is perfectly aware of what he is doing, no one will persuade me that such crimes have zero effect on perpetrator's psyche.
He went bonkers, rightfully so but its a shame he didn't blew his fallen brains out after first murder, he has time, he will manage.
So -- that's the way you're able to get away with this. As that is what the letter of the law says.
Doesn't make it less immoral.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 11, 2019, 10:17:39 PM
I would never use it unless it becomes mandatory and when it does, we are doomed and there is no actual point any more.
Those fuckers are evil, never have had an account there and I'm not planing on creating one, I'm convinced that this company should be dismantled, preferably in a violent way. Don't get me wrong, I'm an ally to free market but this crappy CIA front is nothing close of being a product of the free market, so as this coin of theirs. 30 pieces of Libra for the Bitcoin? How about no?!
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alright, I made it obvious this time on: November 10, 2019, 04:05:52 PM
- To be more correct, it was Plan B who correlated the stock-to-flow with bitcoin's market value. The article that I posted merely demonstrated that bitcoin's market value appears to be converging toward the value implied by the model.
Point taken but also note, who is the one that I pointed as a true discoverer of the quantity theory of money.
People often go with 19th century scholars like Irving Fisher or Ludwig von Mises but they already forgot the pre-revolutionary father of "modern" economy, Nicolaus Copernicus. Most know about his literally groundbreaking book "On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres" but what about his mathematical works as monastery steward? Basically remains unknown. I bet that if Kopernik was still alive, he would HODL some bitcoins. xD
BTW previously posted rants about you linking us to medium instead of re-posting here, where true. That's a decent article, you may have got some nice merits for it, just saying.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 10, 2019, 02:56:46 PM
These manipulators or whales might be nameless now for their security purposes. But like how volatility happens it tends to become due. from the people who sells they're huge holding for some reason or for their reason that they want to lower the value of certain coin to achieve price they wanted. But I believe that it will be hard if he's only one so maybe an organisation behind them, but these can all be from judgement no proof provided since there's no specific name or details.
Exactly my point, no details, no names, no data, nothing.
You are suggesting that wealthy players, whales are manipulators? I think it's not fair. For me it is the question of; is the market being speculative in nature? And I say yes to such question. However calling those players with pejorative names is somewhat counterproductive. First of all it spreads black PR about crypto holders, second thing will be that its also slander bitcoin and it's cause.
There is also a case of those mythical manipulators hurting themself, on purpose and deliberately by those speculations that they make... kinda nonsense Smiley
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 10, 2019, 02:03:40 PM
For something to be manipulated, it requires a manipulator.
Can we point in general direction of such person or persons? Organisations maybe? States? Yes/no?
There are even no vague conspiracy theories about it. Why it's so hard to acknowledge, that this experiment is really running free?
For the fist time in post 14th century world, we have something that resembles real, free market. Maybe this is how it just looks?
Just like that, volatile, rough around the edges, full of traps and crooks and so unpredictable that most choose to believe in a mastermind behind it all rather than convoluted, extremely complicated, dependencies rich mechanics.
Despite this, if someone believes that a manipulator is there, please post who that might be and justify it.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alright, I made it obvious this time on: November 10, 2019, 01:12:41 PM
so sorry dude but you need to add more metrics into your math if you want to actually show stock:flow
I guess you have franked yourself this time, friend.
There is no doubt that bitcoin has stock flow, almost everything that changes/fluctuates has it.
Question is, did OP extracted correct conclusion from such analysis?
If I'm not mistaken, he is correlating the fact of stock-flow growth, with bitcoins price growth. Based on supply and demand law, this only seems like a correct interpretation however according to the definitions, one unit value does not necessary follow the model of growth while a very specific scenario is at play, that is instability of the market. This was discovered by Copernicus centuries ago!
As you have noted, market cap is actually stable, around 1.2m, so this is really looking like bitcoin is and will follow the flow pattern that OP is predicting. It's value should grow in correlation with the market, because supply is shrinking and the demand remains roughly the same.

That's how it should be reported, don't you think?
This industry is growing and the possible abandonment of dollar, as global/international means of payment is there.

Rzeczywiście zmienia to trochę postać rzeczy  Undecided

234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: November 07, 2019, 10:38:45 AM
About diversification:
Diversifying your crypto-investments in form of other cryptocurrency, is no diversification at all.
This market is strongly entangled with bitcoin alone, if the king goes down, so must the others and we saw that multiple times.
"Investor" should be a way of thinking for all possible spectrums. Have some of this and some of that, just in case.
If anyone bother about my opinion, I say focus on bitcoin and it's counterpart that is gold, litecoin and silver and so on.
This is real diversification and only this way you are somewhat securing semi-stable future for yourself.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: November 07, 2019, 10:09:09 AM
It would ease the payment but nothing major will be change I guess.Freelancing is been there way before bitcoin did companies have no problem paying each individuals as there are many payment processor they can use to distribute salaries worlwide. No hype will follow or some big benefits from each side.
I have a very similar view, the market is there but it's not all that huge. Most of crypto developers already know a thing or two about programming, they don't need many workers and usually, freelancers are still looking for fiats rather than cryptocurrency.
There is also a question of taxation during exchange, it's an additional game stopper. Some minor swing have already had happen, all the freelancing in this crypto-era resembles evolution, gradual progress instead of revolution and I think that's quite OK.
I said that the crypto-freelancers market isn't huge, in fact I think it is actually tiny. There are a lot of people willing to do some work for crypto but the amount of employers is still very small. I'm offering cheap websites creation service but so far, I got only one customer... it won't change any time soon. There's just not enough demand.

... can I finally have a good laugh? ...
If by good, you mean loudness over 9000 then I'm with you  Grin
Can I join the team?  Grin ...
I guess you already did Wink welcome aboard.
No doubt we are facing new kind of economy, trading aside, this puts us, the crypto enthusiasts in vanguard that all those, so called professors can only dream of. They have had their chance but let's not start with boomers, they obviously have blew it.
Maybe it is some sort of envy, maybe a feeling of aura of people who are steady and woke to this new technology, makes them scared?
I'm more than sure they have to be shitting their pants by now, everything moving so fast, changing and they just can't keep up with world any more. Geeky introverts however... totally different story. Doomers they call us, not cuz we are doomed but because they are. Let's just laugh our asses off, in the safeness of our basements  Smiley
237  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos - how about verifying for Brave/BAT? Easy extra revenue. on: November 06, 2019, 02:40:36 PM

If by couple hundred you meant 11.50$ than I'm with you  Smiley
@OP
Browser itself is nice, everything else is a spit in the face of satoshi and us, anons.
Besides, this clunky token won't disappear over night, it will sit there and wait, as long as it takes.
Someday (hopefully not) in the time of despair, theymos will manage I presume.

No i oby nam się  Cool
239  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: gdzie rozdają kryptowaluty za darmo? on: November 05, 2019, 11:50:37 AM
Proof-of-Person? Mam rozumieć, że robię pełne KYC a potem kopię coin pod zabezpieczeniem własnego nazwiska? Dobrze to rozumiem?
240  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: gdzie rozdają kryptowaluty za darmo? on: November 05, 2019, 11:25:45 AM
