As others have suggested, it's better to follow the format of filing for a scams in this community.

Nevertheless, this is not the first time that we have heard accusations to Coins.game

Coins.game CONFISCATING all my winnings (268mbtc)

Really don't know what happen to them, I mean they have a good running signature campaign before by @Little Mouse. But after they stop it, accusations started to pop up.
222  Other / Beginners & Help / Dormant PyPI Package: Deploying NovaSentinel Crypto Stealer on: February 29, 2024, 12:26:10 AM
A package listed on the Python Package Index (PyPI) repository, which has been dormant since it first published to PyPI in April 2022. The package name is,

Code:
django-log-tracker

And it's repository is https://github.com/Ragib01/django_log_tracker. Django-log-tracker has been downloaded 3,866 times to date, with the rogue version (1.0.4) downloaded 107 times on the date it was published. While the linked GitHub repository hasn't been updated since April 10, 2022, the introduction of a malicious update suggests a likely compromise of the PyPI account belonging to the developer.

So most likely their could be some machines already being compromised and stealing cryptos. Below are the crypto address that have been used by criminals.

223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 28, 2024, 11:33:07 PM
How time flies, we are now in the Kick-off conference, so much for Las Vegas venue, it's going to happen in NYC and Ryan has no problem with it.

So it's really on, we might here more trash talking, as Oscar said, "still" or a "new" champion in April 20th. Just a question on who wanted it more.

Haney said that this is personal now, specially if it involves religion. And then Bill Haney involves Floyd, as he claim that he Floyd shows the sparring session with Devin Haney and then they suspect that him and Floyd are giving him tips on how to beat Devin.

And as expected, Bill Haney and Ryan's dad, Henry Garcia is also doing the promotion.  Grin

Not sure if someone will try to play this game or not. But if you are interest, you can see the link here, both in English and Arabic: https://www.knockoutchaos.com/.

And my result? I pick Joshua to win, however, Ngannou knock me out,  Grin

And this is the result of the Knicks protest on the game against the Rockets,

https://twitter.com/NBAPR/status/1762938539795218507/photo/1

This is the wild ending on that game,

It's ironic though that they have one close game against the Pistons as well and they could also make a protest on it. But as far as I know the Pistons didn't.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 26, 2024, 12:44:04 PM
Naoya Inoue being one of the best fighters has really invigorated Japanese boxing which is having a great moment with multiple champions across several divisions. He is having a similar impact to what Pacquiao had on Filipino boxing. This card was a great showcase for these 3 Japanese fighters who defended or conquered championships in impressive fashion.

Jerwin Ancajas was once an exciting young champion with very high expectations but sadly he did not live up the hype and has had some disappointing results in recent years. He lost by knockout for the first time ever and it is looking like his days of being considered one of the top challengers may be over.

For Takouma Inoue, it would be great to see him unify against Nakatani. It’s the best fight that can be made in this division.

Yes, Nakatani beat Santiago Alexandro Santiago for the WBC version of the bantamweight and we are now seeing two Japanese as champion. So it will be amazing to see Nakatani vs Inoue for the unification. I think there is some rivalry going on between the two so it will be good if the Japanese boxing commission will let their two champions in the bantamweight go at it.

For Ancajas, losing for the third time in his last four fights. Ancajas faces a tough road back if he’s to become a champion again. But I'm not seeing any progress for him in the current division. A lot of great boxers as well are into this weight class, so I don't know how he can come back from his first knockout lost.
227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cyber Criminals abuse Google Cloud Run - targets crypto on: February 23, 2024, 11:33:08 PM
And with that, hackers are using this services and include it in their emails. Mostly the originator of this emails comes from or the target is Spanish and other LAT-AM countries,

I also created a thread about hackers or cyber criminals targeting countries in Lat-Am. And it's almost the same, they initially target banks and then move and evolved into crypto currency wallets and others related to it. So it's hitting two birds with one stone, means accomplishing two tasks or objectives with a single action or effort and then stealing a lot of money from those regions. And I don't mean anything bad, but maybe this regions doesn't have a great security that's why they are one of the single and biggest targets of hackers? Or it is that there are a lot of hackers in the Spanish speaking countries and obviously, their main target is their local

The Latin America and Caribbean region suffered 137 billion attempted cyberattacks from January to June of this year, an increase of 50% compared to the same period last year (with 91 billion). Mexico was the most attacked country in the region (with 85 billion), followed by Brazil (with 31.5 billion) and Colombia (with 6.3 billion).

In addition to the extremely high numbers, the data reveals an increase in the use of more sophisticated and targeted strategies, such as ransomware. During the first six months of 2022, approximately 384 thousand ransomware distribution attempts were detected worldwide. Of these, 52 thousand were destined for Latin America.

Mexico was the country with the highest ransomware distribution activity in the period, with more than 18 thousand detections, followed by Colombia (17 thousand) and Costa Rica (14 thousand). Peru, Argentina and Brazil appear below.

228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: February 23, 2024, 11:03:55 PM
There's also that I think that we might have missed or at least majority here experienced and that it turned them into a gambling addict, and that is what we call "Beginners Luck".

Quote
Beginner's luck refers to the supposed phenomenon of novices experiencing disproportionate frequency of success or succeeding against an expert in a given activity.[1] One would expect experts to outperform novices - when the opposite happens it is counter-intuitive, hence the need for a term to describe this phenomenon. The term is most often used in reference to a first attempt in sport or gambling, but is also used in many other diverse contexts. The term is also used when no skill whatsoever is involved, such as a first-time slot machine player winning the jackpot.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beginner%27s_luck

And from what I gathered from those who turn into gambling addicts, this is the most common things they have encountered. One story is that this person was given the reward by his company to travel to US because he is their top seller. So one night him and others go to the casinos and meet a fellow nationality that works in Vegas as a dealer and tell him to play a game. And this guy was so lucky that his $1 turn into $88,000 and then he bring this money to his country.

From then on, he frequently local casinos and he says that he win big in a year. But after that, he lost everything, put in jail and almost get killed. So that is just one of the most horrific stories I heard and that this beginners luck could be positive and encouraging start for newcomer. But they may struggle to cope with setbacks or failures after that and then chasing that feeling again will turn us into addicts.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 23, 2024, 10:43:37 PM
And we have a venue, I also thought that this will be in Las Vegas, but it's not, the fight is going to take place in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Quote
However, on Wednesday night, Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy promotions - who represent Garcia and so are staging the fight - announced that the Haney clash will instead take place in New York.

The 19,000 capacity Barclays Center, home to the Brooklyn Nets, will host the event.

https://talksport.com/sport/1760503/surprise-venue-devin-haney-ryan-garcia-gervonta-davis-deleted/

Still a good venue and the sitting capacity is big and I wouldn't be surprised if this fight is sold out already and then the PPV numbers as well. Are we going to see a million PPV buys here? or least get close to the Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia with 1.1-1.2 million buys and if I'm not mistaken, the biggest fight last year, even bigger than Canelo fight or Crawford vs Spence.

Las Vegas though should be the home town of Ryan, he has been trainer or have been seen with Floyd. And we all know that Floyd resides in Vegas and so I think it will be beneficial for his fans from LA as it is very near proximity and they can just drove off to Vegas and see Ryan fight.

And speaking of Barclays center, it was the venue where Tank Davis fought Rolly Romero and they did this numbers.

https://twitter.com/NukeUndisputed/status/1760479596661625295

I think they can easily surpassed this numbers, that time Rolly is still relatively unknown and not a champion and yet it was a block buster fight. So what's more of Ryan with his huge following and Haney's belt on the line.

231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 20, 2024, 01:11:45 PM
Speaking of coaches, have your heard about the Nets coach Jacque Vaughn, being fired?

Quote
Jacque Vaughn was fired as head coach of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and it appears his plan on moulding the team’s offensive identity around Ben Simmons may have played a role in that decision.

That is according to NBA insider Shams Charania, who claimed “multiple players” — including Spencer Dinwiddie and Mikal Bridges — had been “pretty vocal behind the scenes for months now about how the offence was running”.

https://www.foxsports.com.au/basketball/nba/nba-2024-brooklyn-nets-fire-jacque-vaughn-as-head-coach-mikal-bridges-voices-concern-around-offence-built-around-ben-simmons/news-story/8d4abed8e28f888be0661c5b81c30954

So as a NBA coach, there is no security of tenure, even if the Nets give him a 4 year contract as far as I know, they still fire him as they don't like what the team is going this season. Really just sad how a couple of years ago, they have Nash as coach and with their own big 3. And then just for them getting KD, Kyrie and Harden, they gave up so many future picks and now we've seen that the risk didn't pay-off i the end.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 19, 2024, 10:09:32 PM
Josh Taylor though might be in the danger as they are fighting at 140 lbs, in which he says that he had difficulty making the weight already. So he could be draining himself just to get to this limit.

Yes, same here, we can also look for the argument of boxers who go on weigh-in and not making the desired weight, stripped of the belt or even have to be penalized from the purse itself. And that's why this is professional, everything should be perfect, including their health going into the fight. But I guess, sometimes is avoidable for fighters to make the weight but they look very drain even in UFC fights and you can see that after the weigh in, they have some liquid to replenish their body.
Or even hydrating to 10 pounds of more during the fight night. So it's possible here, Taylor making it hard to his body to make the 140 lbs, but then gaining it back to during the fight night.

Saw the feed on my social media, about the press conference.

https://twitter.com/HotBoxingMinute/status/1759616800541802668

Josh Taylor looks old to me, sorry for his fans here. But the press conference is funny as hell, everyone has to say something bad against each other including the trainer of Jack.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 19, 2024, 11:45:19 AM
I do think it will hurt Canelo's legacy if he doesn't duck Benavidez this year.

1. They are both in the same division, Benavidez holds the WBC interim belt.
2. Charlo twins are 154 lbs and 160 lbs champion, they are moving up in weight to fight him.
3. Didn't fight Bivol for a rematch.
4. They said Benavidez should fight other PBC fighters and so he did, beat Plant and Demetrius Andrade and beat them.

Obviously, Canelo's legacy is going to be strained for not fighting a prime Benavidez wherein Floyd gave him that chance before.

The problem with Benavidez is he is only a mandatory. He doesn't bring anything beneficial to Canelo. He's like a super high risk with a decent reward that is not so high. I think Canelo just went the Mayweather way. Floyd was old at that time but he demanded a catchweight against a green 23-year-old Canelo.

I thought Benavidez is the WBC interim super middleweight champion when he beat Lemieux in 2023, then defeated Caleb Plant and Andrade to retain that belt. So him and Canelo should really fight as Canelo held the regular WBC belt.

Everybody's praising Benavidez but I also feel something for this guy. I believe he will also start ducking once he becomes the top dog. It's because he canceled his fight with fellow prospect and undefeated David Morrell in favor of an old and inactive Andrade. If Benavidez won, he could've become not just the WBC mandatory but also in the WBA since Morrell holds that right.

It is reported that it was Morrell who didn't want to fight or at least that was Benavidez Sr said that Morrell is not ready and so they they go on and fight Andrade. They still insists though that they are willing to fight him next. But obviously, for a more lucrative fight, they are targeting Canelo and I think most of us here wanted to see that fight. Mexican vs Mexican.

Earlier Canelo said he is facing an American next which means not Mungia. Thought it was either Bud or maybe Jermall. But just lately, he denied Crawford saying he does not want the fans to say he beat a smaller guy who moved up 3 divisions. So I guess it is Jermall against Canelo this Cinco De Mayo. Revenge of the twin will be the theme. Cheesy

I agree, regardless of who is Canelo facing next, they will have to go up 2-3 weight classes and fight him as his comfort zone of 168 lbs. I'm not sure if intelligent boxing fans are going to fall for the revenge story board. Canelo should have known better to put that kind of promotion.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 18, 2024, 09:27:08 PM

Caterall played dirty in the fight, the point deduction may have an impact on the score but he deserves the deduction, In that fight Taylor but down but Caterall still hit him in the head, he could still play dirty in this fight because Taylor is dominating him, although the fight ended in the controversy, I consider Taylor winning the fight, Caterall never totally dominated the fight, in a championship match if the match is too close the champion will have the slight edge because the challenger should take the title away from the champion, which is to dominates him so its will not questionable in the eyes of the boxing community.

Both of them are playing dirty in that fight in my opinion, it could be that they really hate each other, but I don't think that Taylor is dominating, there are a lot of close rounds and that's why the first fight ended that way, scores, it's a split decision win for Josh.

However, I do agree that in close fight or close rounds, usually the judges gave it to the champion. And that's what happens here, Jack was so close to defeating Josh back then, but it should be very convincing for the judges. And with that, up to this day, it's questionable win for him and the only way to settle this is to get them to fight again here to settle it once and for all. Josh Taylor though might be in the danger as they are fighting at 140 lbs, in which he says that he had difficulty making the weight already. So he could be draining himself just to get to this limit.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 18, 2024, 09:09:08 PM
3-point contest was fun and very challenging as all players scored 20+ in first round. Dame Time ended it the way it suited him.
Dunk contest was mid. It was weird that Jaylen Brown made it to the finals. Toppin had better dunks. McClung had no competition again, so he didn't dunk very differently than last year. The NBA management has to do something about the jury. Grin

The judges though, it seems that they want Jaylen to be in the finals with McClung. But it was a boring dunk contest and could be one of the worst we have seen in years. As I have predicted, Curry will will over Sabrina in their own 3 point shoot-out.

Dame time, he needs to get that last ball to win and so he did. But obviously, fans are disappointed on the dunk contest. They should really get players that can put highlight reel during All Streak Break. They have to bring McClung just to hype it and so it's those NBA players lost to a G-leaguer.

@ FanEagle - maybe you are referring to Jordan Kilganon.

236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 18, 2024, 10:50:23 AM
I am not too happy with Gaballo's last fight. I think he only unleashed 5 punches and that was it. And prior to the Thai opponent, Gaballo struggled against an unknown local opponent. Gaballo only fought once a year since he was defeated by Donaire. I haven't watched Jason Moloney's last fight, but I heard he somewhat struggled. Nonetheless, it's a title fight compared to the opponents Gaballo faced.

Of course, I would love to see Gaballo winning a title, but my head says Moloney has his number. Gaballo's lack of activity and lack of quality opponents did not enhance him. I still see him as a fighter with a raw power. He's still awkward but maybe Donaire Sr. will address his flaws now that they are working a bit longer. Gaballo has to land his power shots because Moloney has the skills while also capable of scoring knockouts.

Oh so he is trained by Donaire Sr? and I my recall, I think there was a storyline between Donaire Sr and Jr and during their fight years ago, it was highlighted. But I do agree that Gaballo is very raw talent and just like the rest of Filipino fighters, all of them have power, but they need to be polished at the beginning. Just like what Roach did to Manny early on when the take the kid on his wing.

He will be the underdog here and for sure Moloney is ready for a battle as he knows what a Filipino boxer is capable of. Him and Donaire should fight for the vacant title but he duck Donaire. But then Donaire lost to Alexandro Santiago in a upset.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 17, 2024, 10:48:44 PM
Bucks has lost 7 out of their last 10 games. Doc Rivers will probably not find any job at all in the NBA after this one. I am sure that he had some issues before this, I mean he shouldn't even be hired here, at this point I feel like he has buddies around the league that hires him, because if I owned a team, I would pay Doc Rivers not to coach my team, let alone pay him to coach it.

The fact that they fired their coach that made them so good, and just get one that made them so bad. Players are the same players, I don't know what changed so quickly but they just suck now. In any case, it is All-Star weekend, and we are going to have some fun times, it is going to be great tonight, I like it, the lack of defense is terrible for the past 10 years or so, but it is still fun to watch.

Isn't it what we are saying as we are all surprised to see them fire their coach who are have bring them as one of the best team in the East and yet the management is not contented with it? That is really poor management on their side, I mean why fix when nothing is broken? Now, they will have to pay the price as the team is now struggling with Doc Rivers and they say that they are going to improved their defense, but so far, everything is a failure to them. And what's going to happen if they choke on the playoffs? Doc Rivers has history with Clippers and then the Sixers.

Yeah, for now let's leave it like that, we have the All Star weekend and so as fans we should be enjoying this one, even for the players who are participating. Looking for the 3 point competition between Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu. I'm not going to bet, but I will go with Steph Curry here, the pressure must be too much for Sabrina in this kind of stage and obviously, she is not used to it.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 4 financial associations requested SEC for modification on SAB 121 on: February 17, 2024, 09:47:23 PM

https://www.aba.com/-/media/documents/letters-to-congress-and-regulators/jointclsec20240214.pdf

I'm no banking expert, and so I'm asking others who have knowledge or at least understand what's the request of the American Bankers Association (“ABA”) and other groups to SEC's Chairman Gary Gensler's.

It did mentioned Bitcoin Spot ETP in the official document and so I'm curious as to what changes they want?

Are they asking that at least regulatory bodies be lenient for now specially for Bitcoin related in safeguarding their clients assets?
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 17, 2024, 09:11:22 PM

Now, my question is..
- is it right to sell ones casino account, most especially when the account is KYCed?

There could be reasons why someone will sell his/her accounts. So as for the rights, yes, but the question is that if it allowed?

- Do casinos have any policy against account sells?

Like the signature that you are carrying, you can simply search for their ToS

Quote
4.14 You are prohibited from selling, transferring or acquiring Stake Accounts to or from other Players.

https://stake.com/policies/terms

So I think that already answers your question, it is not allowed by most of the casinos to sell accounts. So gamblers should avoid selling specially buying of accounts, you are putting a lot of risk in your end. And if you are a gambler that follow and play by the rules because you don't want to have issues with your account, it's better to read the Terms and Conditions of the gambling sites, not just for selling or buying accounts.

240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, 50k Done on: February 17, 2024, 08:56:23 PM
What is your view on this matter?
And please correct me if I am wrong in any way.

It's already passed and $50k would be a good support price to climb further even if the halving hasn't happened yet. My view is that I am not very skilled at reading price charts, if the halving has not happened and prices continue to increase, then in my opinion many speculators are wrong in providing estimates.

There is no other solution other than to be patient and hold until the halving occurs. If the current price is $51,600 and has the potential to increase again past $52k+, of course at the halving the price will be even higher.

If I'm not mistaken, we even had $52k already, so that is a big jump from this month, and so far it's a 20%++ increased this February alone. However, we still have to wait for the climb to be solid. At least give $50k some time to become a support before we get excited and said that we really achieved that price and it's done. So far the price is $51k'ish, as there are some liquidations already in the millions.

And it's obvious that this huge spike is due to the Spot Bitcoin ETF, as the demand is souring high. We still have the catalyst for the bull-run this year, and that is the block halving. This is the most anticipated event for this year and it will really push the demand the price to even greater heights. So just be patience and be cool, we should be here for the long haul and not just for $50k.
