but the gold is always unregulatable.
-cut-
Gold is highly regulated.

Lastly why are the SEC now cracking down heavily on the cryptocurrency?
governent isn't cracking down "cryptocurrencies", they are cracking down centralized elements from it. For a longest time people have been saying why decentralization is the main thing in cryptos. This is the reason. Government can remove any centralized elements like fiat backed stablecoins. They can even remove fiat pairs from CEXes so you have seen nothing yet. After that we would go back to trading ALT/BTC pairs

it is whether you are the house and you always win, or you believe in value investing and thinking it is truth like the religion, and loss your life saving.
-cut-
I guess you need to explain what "being the house" means in this context.
2202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do NFTs Have Same Value as Bitcoin?* on: March 04, 2023, 03:00:49 PM
I am new to the crypto world and still learning the basics to understand how it operates. A friend who is an artist introduced me to NFTs, which he said is similar to Bitcoin. I want to know how NFT drawings can be invested in Bitcoin, but first, I need to understand how to create NFTs that have crypto value. After discussing it with my friend, I searched for help online, but instead of understanding it, I am getting more confused about it.

Do NFTs have the same value as Bitcoin? I have read that investing in Bitcoin is a good business opportunity, especially for people in West Africa who may not have many job opportunities. One can be self-employed by trading and investing in the crypto market and assets, including NFTs.

As a newbie in the forum, I have read other articles about Bitcoin, but I still need a good guideline on the crypto world, Bitcoin, and NFTs.

If we talk purely about nft collectable pictures because i recon that's what you are after, and if overly simplify it, it's basically this:

You create bunch of pictures, then you need to "make nfts from them". easiest way to do this is go to opensea.io and create an account.
Then you click your account icon pic and choose "Create"

It will take you to a page where you can basically drag and drop pictures. And choose different properties for them, then you choose a blockchain and pay the fees for creating your nft.

You asked that do they have same value as Bitcoin? You can think this as etsy shop. You can try to sell anything with any price. But the question you need to ask from yourself is: Why would anyone buy the nfts you did?

An example: I made this banana as nft for a test:

Now i could set up a sell order for it and name the price. But why would anyone buy it? Even it was a special banana?

But my explanation was not about nft collections. Those are basically same thing except you mint (buy) them without seeing what you get and they have a reveal day when you get to know what sort of pic you got.

That's more complex procedure and someone else can tell about it if they have time. However the whole web is full of tutorials.

It is probable that it will not be that much, the last contest slogan that was done in this forum last year by one casino, without calculating how many submissions the thread got up to 6 reply means 120 posts so not as much as if done on social media, But asking for verification or something to the winner will only make Betfury look bad, so Betfury has to conduct a deeper investigation before announcing the winner than doing the opposite, but because this is the contest's slogan actually only matches what Betfury wants that can be the winner So all kinds of fraud should not be a problem with this, and this is my opinion
Well at least they are transparent with the usernames so we can check if they look like legit accounts. Unlike for example bitnity raffle that had zero transparency.

I wonder if they bother to check if same answers have suggested before, and how would they they deal with someone who is using chatgpt to make numerous different slogans just for ability to claim that he/she suggested them first. Is there a limit how many you can suggest?
2204  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 04, 2023, 11:12:28 AM
Yes, and I salute Stake because they are able to always give the best to their customers, even if they want to give a little advantage, such as giving random bonuses in small amounts.
I am also proud to be one of the participants in the signature campaign promotion held by Stake.
Alright, that's not a bad idea. I'll try my luck again playing in the Play'n Go provider, and if I win a larger amount later, I'll show you the results of my win. Grin
I've tried playing the Tome of Madness slot from the Play'N Go provider by getting $4.09. I used a $0.1 bet using 50x auto spin and I got Free Spins on the 30th spin (if I'm not mistaken). So even though I got $4.09, actually my winnings were still small because in those 30 rounds, I didn't win much.

But maybe I'll try to play in Rise of Olympus 100 and Moon Princess 100 later. I'll see how my luck in both games later and hopefully I can win more Grin
I had very good and very bad luck with free spins in the same game in various casinos. Unfortunately, my unlucky free spins have happened at the same time i had increased my bet.
One of the reason they don't always pay is that you can buy those. It wouldn't make much sense to to sell them if they would always pay or they would have to price them to insanely high and less people would buy them.

Reason why i don't buy bonus rounds is that i am gambling with small bets anyway and i can get an edge as i could win them free if i am lucky.
2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: March 03, 2023, 11:18:17 PM
Wow, your opinion is like a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end. More government involvement in healthcare? No, thank you. The government has already meddled enough, and that's why the system is broken. Let the free market work its magic and drive down prices. Companies should be held accountable by competition, not more regulations.

And don't even get me started on your take on Biden. I completely disagree. We need a president who can stand up to big corporations and fight for the little guy, and Biden is the man for the job. He has a proven track record of doing just that. So, let's give him a chance to make things better for everyone. I have faith in him.
I don't get your point. In first paragraph you say that regulations aren't the way, but competition is.
And right in the next one that you say that government (president) needs to stand up to big companies for the little guy (i guess by regulating big big companies/corporations)

So which one is it? More regulations or less regulations?

Ok i laughed out loud after seeing Snoop Dog partnership. Well done! Others partner up with top level athletes and cutting edge companies involved in sports.
But you chose a different road and said "nah, boring, who is the most famous dopehead out there? Bring him in!"

I guess that's one way to attract gamblers as there are ton of them who are not that into sports. It's refreshing approach to say the least.

✍️ What are you looking forward to the most?

Future plans look good. Pretty vague but that's ok.

What i am looking forward to the most is that you would announce how much % of the total amount of bfg tokens are you committed to buy and burn?
Is that going to be %50 and you are going to stop or are you buying and burning them as long as the casino is up? Because that makes a huge difference on your tokenomics.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In under 2.5 hours Binance AI-powered NFT generator generates 10,000 mints on: March 03, 2023, 04:15:18 PM

You know what?
When cars were about to hit mass adotpion, horse-drawn carriage drivers were protesting. The same was with postmans and telephone/internet innovation. The same was with taxi drivers and uber. Over the years, many professions have ceased to exist or have become marginalized. if ai generator can create 10 000 "art" in a time an artist can make one third ... its not the moment to cover your eyes and say I can't see it. Lets all forget there is such technology to protect artists job.

No matter what we do to defend them, there will always be an honest artist who will work 10 hours a day and sell 1 peace of art ... and his competition who will work 5 minutes a day and sell 2 claiming that it is also a handmade.
I am with you on this. It's another thing to complain that generative ai steals artwork or pictures online and uses it as its own. Because that's a real issue.
But just the issue that something geneates art or music and steals their jobs i say tough luck. I am a musician and i totally get that some of us will be replaced by ai. Future will most likely still needs hand crafted art and actual humans. Not just for everything.

Every sector of jobs were affected by industrial revolution and machines back in time, just like every sector will be affected by ai next.
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Experience on Bulk Bankroll vs Partial Bankroll on: March 03, 2023, 02:29:04 PM
I am playing slots so mathematically end results doesn't really matter what tactic i am using unless there are some cheat codes to machines.

But i do have a tactic. I start with slow bets and end it with a big one, like 1/5th of my daily budget
Usually i have done this so that i have used weekly budget in 1 day and but lately i even tried to spread it out trough the whole week so i can enjoy it more.

I've also tried to gamble all in with one bet, and while that one gives me a huge rush, it doesn't give me any kind of fulfillment that i would get by playing small amounts trough the week.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba Inu still worth it? on: March 03, 2023, 02:05:04 PM
I have 20 million but haven't bought any for over 6 months as I only bought at the time as I was fairly new to crypto and it was low compared to its all time high but I now understand market cap etc.

With its current market cap at $6.3b, how high can this realistically go? Is $100b possible? That would give it a 16x from current price if so which would be good.

With the release of Shibarium due this year I do think this will see the price rise but how much im not so sure?
My first instinct is "$100b not in a billion years" but than again, anything is possible if enough crazy people get into this crypto madhouse. Eventually there will be a limit and even as we hit the top people will have 1000x targets for their high cap coins. I am not saying it won't go up there but i see it highly unlikely. I see more changes of it having a fatal exploit causing a panic run and crash to the zero then a 100 billion dollar marketcap
2211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: March 03, 2023, 01:44:31 PM

Native token called 'Gamer', staking it makes you eligible for 50% casino profits, can bet with Hive, Steem, Dec (Splinterlands currency) and Gamer. Plenty games including Dice, Blackjack, Video pocker, crash, roulette, slots, plinko.  Auto bet also available for applicable games.
-cut-
Maybe i am missing something but i can't find any info about this "Gamer" token. No tokenomics, not even info how can i buy it or should i mine it somehow?
But without tokenomics how would i even know is it worth to mine it as supply can be unlimited for all i can tell.
Site looks good though. Sleek minimalistic graphics so points for that.

Hi, i like what i see here. But team answering transparently to everything really gives a me a huge green flag.

The sale page just throws me to bounty campaign link and while i would love to participate to some of your bounty campaigns, unfortunately facebook following is mandatory and shows up in a spreadsheet so i don't want to dox myself.

So i need just to buy. Question is when and what i am buying. Tokens or nfts? And is there going to be a tracker on how much has been sold? As i am afraid that bounty tokens will be dumping the market price if there will be more of those then people that want to actually invest.

Self-Exclusion
-cut-

Never seen such option before in any other casino. This is actually a very smart move from BetFury. Heavy addicted gamblers now think of returning back to gambling because "they can now limit themselves". This bring customers back. Sort of an illusion be save from loosing everything. As to limiting max deposit - I think casinos would never do that. It will be like going against themselves. But, actually there is such a function - try depositing couple of millions at once and most likely security script will trigger once you will try to withdraw your thousands back Cheesy

Wonder if there is way to get back when gambler has selected self destcruction (indefinite self-exclusion)?
Actually it's mandatory for all casinos to have that option.

I have nothing against helping or even forcing people to limit their gambling to control gambling addictions. I personally had less difficulties with quitting smoking then quitting gambling and while i succeeded in limiting my gambling myself. I doubt that everyone can.

That being said i don't think these methods help gamble addiction. There are so many casinos out there that If you spread out and use several different of them, you will never ran out.
2214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Our thoughts on Solana currently? on: March 03, 2023, 09:14:58 AM
Since we already have 2 SoL fans in here, could you explain me something.

I don't really have a clear understanding why people love Solana. Sure, i have used it and keep using it as i make money from NFT markets, so it serves a purpose but i am not a fan.
So, i wanted to know that what is your take for the Solana network outages and the fact they don't even find reasons for latest shutdown. How can you defend somehing like that as a fan?

And if you love low fees how is solana better then BSC or any other cheap platform that haven't been shutting down randomly?

Personally i am using SOL because it has most active NFT community next to ETH. Oh and the fees. I just spend a 1 rent worth of money to failed transactions in ETH. That's messed up too and i am definitely not a fan of current state of eth. I believe that they can scale it in the future so i am buying it, but i am not that sure of solana fixing their problems. I sure hope they do.
2215  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russophobia as a phenomenon on: March 03, 2023, 09:03:05 AM
For example in Finland where i live, next to Russia. We don't hate russians. But because of actions of their home country we are way more suspicious.
I have visited russia often and i have russian friends, my ex girlfriend used to organize travels for tourists in there. And before putin went crazy we actually had hopes of having good ties with the country.

But we fucking hate putler and putinist propaganda, and yeah for sure we hate russians who defend actions of putin yet choose to live in here. Same way as we hate handful of finnish trolls who are for putin. They are basically enemy combatants of refugees living in here and big middle finger to them. I think that they should be under same sanctions as people who live in russia.
Yet we don't judge anyone just by speaking Russian language. But if i was Russian living aboard, i would be so shamed of my country's actions i wouldn't want to risk it by speaking Russian language and would totally understand that there might be people who hate my guts.

Being a Russian now is like being a son of a Hitler. Sure, you are not responsible of the actions of your father but it's fair to assume you are being hated for him unless you are very vocal against him.

On the other hand, as we have free access to russian media, we can see how much we are being demonized there. We are the next nazis they are after as they definitely are paving the way to attack in here and want to "free" our people. For quite a long time now we have seen fake news in there as we can monitor them pretty easily. They are slowly turning their people against us too.

Russians on the other hand don't have access to free media. They don't know how we think about them. But they are being lied to how we think about them.

hello guys please join the private sale, the minimum investment is only $100USD

I watched your videos as i tried to find any game footage. What i sä was way too buggy for my taste.

I am assuming that's still an on alpha stage so i'll wait until there's better footage or smoother gameplay until i consider buying in. But good luck for your game. There aren't enough games on the Nft scene.

2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin, what do you guys recommend I buy as well on: March 02, 2023, 09:12:11 PM
I have a good amount of btc that I'm very pleased with. I love btc. Are there any other coins you guys could recommend I buy next? (none of your comments count as financial advice)
If nothing else, i think some exposure to eth will be good. If you want to diverse more i'll give you some from the top of my head

Matic : (I am uncertain how good this is for long term after eth scales and there's already arbitrum but right now i would buy some)
Solana : gets a lot of crap but Vitalik thought it would be underpriced and that's enough for me.
Uniswap (UNI): is going to be even bigger after eth scales
UNUS SED LEO: There's a change this won't be mooning until i die but tokenomics are solid and if bitfinex gets their stolen cryptos back this will moon more then anything in crypto history.
Dusk Network: Still not having mainnet but they have build something really ambititious and new, plus team is full of actual geniuses.

2219  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rupert Murdoch & Fox News lied about January 6th on: March 02, 2023, 01:09:51 PM
Weirdest part of this is that their qanon cultist viewers probably now think that they are lying about lying it. Because of *reasons*. And yet they keep watching and believing fox.
And the saddest part is, damage is already done. Human brain mechanism is fascinating; it's naturally going for this "self-enforcing loop" where they keep the doubt caused bu accusations in and leave out the truth out no matter what.
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apeswap (BANANA) on: March 02, 2023, 11:34:07 AM
Is Apeswap (BANANA) from the same team of Apecoin ? anyone heard of it before ?
As a rule of thumb you can presume that when there are several different coins or tokens with similar or same name or same ticker, they have nothing to do with each other.

There are only so many themes and names before they run out and people have to reuse them. Assuming that names have a connection will just make you do bad investments. "Ape" is not a protected brand, "Planet of the Apes" is.
