Great game from Barca winning comfortably in cup game (of course the opponent was not great but still with the way they played recently it was nice to see many goals plus clean sheet).

But wow even better from Real, coming back down from 2 goals!

Draw is live so now Quarterfinalists are Barca, Real, Atletico, Sociedad, Sevilla, Valencia, Athletic, Osasuna. Poor Betis!

Usual suspects mostly Smiley

Real Madrid vs Atlético Madrid
Osasuna vs Sevilla
Valencia vs Athletic Club
FC Barcelona vs Real Sociedad

Have decided to hodl as well here. The technicals are just too great on the weekly. Lets see how it develops when the news are out and also the 1st feb fomc meeting should be exciting. Cant wait Tongue
I think we're doing the right thing. Either way the price of bitcoin will go up again and I don't want to miss that.  Cheesy

I was put into the hodl category ever since I got in, and I know my eventual price target is a dream and ridiculous, but I don't mind spending btc every now and then (unfortunately probably losing more lately than gaining because of gambling but I honestly don't mind).

For me, for sure doing nothing until next ATH and I see if it's worth selling at least half or to wait another 8-10 years Wink

Dang guys, so jealous to see all of your big wins. And 1000x multipliers? I never got even 100x not even with play money, free spins, or real money. But you know what they say, don't try, can't win, and I have to admit I probably played billions of dice rolls but for sure not even 100k slot spins Wink

Like BitcoinHunt3r said: just visit promo/tournament page and opt in for everything lol. I do it here and on Sportsbet like just automatically!

I almost almost made money from my first 4-3-free win and still nothing to celebrate 2023 yet. Inspired by so many big bets from people I decided to go for higher odds than usual. Why did I think Tottenham could win??

The worst is I got frustrated and ended up losing even more in casino Blackjack lol

Try again Sad

Maybe it makes sense to bet on 'others' (20.72) ?

Too many strong players to choose others (which is now 19). I have no idea what the capabilities of the players are in tennis except for all the familiar names of course like anyone else. I went for the guy closes to 20x which is currently Stefanos Tsitsipas only put 10k satoshi. 23x so I guess if I win I will regret no matter what lol

We think we may expect more surprises - Nadal is out (now he has 3rd place with 7% of bets) but we have still more than 5 days to decide. Djokovic (1.37)? IMO odds are too low to risk. But let's wait a little as see how he goes.

Swiatek has first place now with 41% of bets (odds 2.07) and I strongly consider placing my bets on her. In 2-3 days I will make a decision.

Yeah, I'm just gonna stick to my original plan and wait for my bet to lose. Tennis isn't really my forte anyway, though it's not that I actually do any better betting on football in general lol

Swiatek is probably less certain than Djokovic though, such is women's tennis contenders these days.

"The Bosman ruling also prohibited domestic football leagues in EU member states, and also UEFA, from imposing quotas on foreign players to the extent that they discriminated against nationals of EU states. At that time, many leagues placed quotas restricting the number of non-nationals allowed on member teams. Also, UEFA had a rule that prohibited teams in its competitions, namely the Champions League, Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Cup, from naming more than three "foreign" players in their squads for any game. After the ruling, quotas could still be imposed, but only used to restrict the number of non-EU players on each team.

According to a 2021 study, the Bosman ruling increased the competitiveness of national team football because it encouraged greater talent development.[6] However, it reduced competition in the Champions League, as non-established teams tended to sell their best players rather than compete against the best teams. "

Thank you for explaining this, I saw Trofo response to me and wanted to explain.

But you already did Smiley

Now I know it seems like it doesn't affect Asian football but it totally does, because every time UEFA makes a change, AFC also follows (it's not publicised but even when AFC does not, the local FAs always do something similar, and decisions announced like just before new season.

We used to have quotas on foreign players, and then it was great football. Then quotas gone, or increased to 50% or whatever, and then you have countries who have 90% foreign players but with dual citizenship which you can pass in 1 day the test if you pay for it, boom, you are citizen.

They say it makes national teams better, but I don't really see it. They say the football quality improves, I see it, but I also feel like local talents have not been easier to find since quotas were cut.

And I know it is not direct, but Bosman had a huge huge impact as with EU as with SA and SEA and EA countries (all under AFC). The timing of quotas is exact. If you think UEFA is tight with Infantino, AFC is in between that tight space, but in a one way traffic lol

Don't forget to Opt in on EPL promo... Arsenal and Southampton give out freebets ($10 for $50) for every match regardless of outcome. Missed a string of matches just because I didn't even opt in!

https://sportsbet.io/promotions/return-of-the-epl-casino-offers

Dang, I didnt even know that we have this type of promotions. It has been starting since December though and will continue till 28th January. Literally 20% cashback regardless of the result

Anyway, I took mine for the next one on Southampton, I took draw on half time. Im not entirely sure how this going to turns out but I think both teams might be playing the possession game on 1st half

Man count me in on this, I think I bet on almost every Arsenal game if not ML like last one, then in multibet as usual because their odds have been good, form good, everything good. I remember most of us took the Casino promo before the WC break and that worked very well for me, but totally forgot to continue checking promos. I found this one now on the Promotions page but kinda have to scroll down to see it, no wonder we all missed it Smiley
2209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: January 19, 2023, 09:08:00 AM
also the bail was a contract of 3 relatives plus a lawyer being "trust" of $300m of SBF collateral which they would surrender to the court if SBF were to abscond. due to some relatives and lawyer having some legal licences that can also be revoked if they fail to pay the obligations upon absconding, the court judge at the time(has a personal connection to them) decided that was enough leverage to scare SBF into not running, and enough fear to the "trust" licence revokes and reputation harm of the $250m bail amount to ensure payment would be made if abscond.. thus no real money needed to change hands(though it should have done!)

Yeah, that is a simplified way thanks for explaining this. I knew he got on bail, I knew it was something to do with collateral, and I know a lot of people think it's not right but legally, this is what happens all the time. No money moved.

Now that they've also recovered 5 billion, this bail amount doesn't seem much at all, especially if the most likely is that it will harm future reputation of all involved. And you know for sure this isn't the end for them, they want to pick up again.

And to see if Real Madrid were just suffering like the Spanish were in Qatar or it's just a phase. By the way, it struck me actually that there are almost no Spanish spirit left starting in the final for Real... only Carvajal. Sign of the times?

I think this from a long time, the football has to end to the "Bosman law", its ridicuolous i know it have foundaments but this its out of control.

And for more pleasure that law its super cheated and by-passed with another tricks like... All the Argentinians like me have european ancestors so we took the dual citizenship and become another "european" by the law. So also the Argentinians doesnt fill the foreing quota.
And some Brazilians make the same, and Uruguay its in the same line of Argentina.

But this its not gona end, because the businnes its more and more big so this its gonna get only worse.

We alredy have teams without autochthonous players, and now we have some teams with also more foreign fans in their stadium than real fans.

I don't really understand much about the Bosman law but from reading about it, it does make sense, and if I have to choose between a club having power and a player having power, I feel like it must be the choice of the player in the end.

On the other hand as you say, it's used for so much bad than good at the moment. It's not just you, I think a lot of people in Africa do the same thing and even though it's illegal in many Asian countries, soooo many people do it. To get double benefits. Worse is the rich only can do that so they get even richer with dual citizenships.

We had one country I won't mention names but they field almost 90% of stars (including Argentinians and Brazilians) in all games in all Olympics flying their flag but they have not one root in the country.

2212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The NEW 4 year Cycle - Bob Loukas on: January 18, 2023, 09:31:07 AM
We definitely don't need another 4-year cycle analysis, we all know about halving, and we all can see for ourselves how past cycles have behaved, and can come up with many different conclusions, and can all still be wrong with it. In fact, majority of analysis is still wrong despite having many cycles to look at already.

I would say that we also need to examine the effect of global economy recession on this cycle. Which never happened before.

What a nonsense. What a damn nonsense. For me, not like Napoli to give up a lead so easily to a team that was the biggest underdog. I like them but I think they deserve to be dumped out of the Coppa.

I know, I also deserve it for choosing a cup game.

Smallest odds ruined this ticket. I totally totally deserved it.

Hey uneng, I didn't see your thread until now, just popping in to say "wow" what a commitment and good luck, I'm sure you're already way in profit now and with BTC recovering well, you could be looking at a great savings return.

Like you, I see FUN solely for the Premium benefits, I'm collecting spins myself on my second year, locking it simply to get the APY.

Good luck!!

Napoli looked in such good shape I went ahead and added their next 2 games into my tickets, one tonight in Coppa and one in Serie A later.

Disclaimer is the odds are not good (tonight for example is home favorite against Cremonese) so I might be following bad instinct to use such games as multibet "top up" but I think this team is going to be like Arsenal, mostly dependable in small and big games.

Yeah I'll let TheQuin respond to that, but from my experience, I've won the lottery once, but that was only me noticing because I kinda keep a close track of my balance every day. Not so much I watch it but I know it more or less!

And one day I saw it had gone up. Checked the lottery page, saw my ID on it. Wasn't a lot but it was something, and nice to be there.

There was no notification that I noticed, also not in email. I'm quite sure I have all notifications on as I get deposits alerts.

One of my freebets from the last round of prediction contests needs Sociedad to win today, but I made sure that's the only Spanish game on my ticket. Even seemed to do better adding basketball and South American football. Let's see if I regret.

But back to Spain lets see if what i say at the beggining its true or Barca finally find his form.

And to see if Real Madrid were just suffering like the Spanish were in Qatar or it's just a phase. By the way, it struck me actually that there are almost no Spanish spirit left starting in the final for Real... only Carvajal. Sign of the times?
