Lol I can't believe slackovic won the tennis question by putting almost same answer as all of us but that's his luck Wink I wish I get a round where my opponent is late or doesn't show though, just not the next round since it's already relegation for me hehe

And don't worry mate Harkorede, you can go ahead and win this without any feeling of guilt. I made my own destiny many times in this league, so it is fully my doing, not you or anyone Wink

On the one hand you are "well informed" about Bitcoin, and yet on the other hand you're actually asking how to acquire skills?

Theory = knowledge, that's what you seem to have. Skill = practice. The only way to gain skill is to do.

But be careful, Bitcoin changed a lot of lives not actually because of trading.

Trading changes lives for sure but not in the positive way you're thinking of...

Oh and Lol OP you really did sound like a nob the way you posted but anyway Wink

Gavin won almost a thousand dollars, what a nice way to end his livestream wow Smiley

If it is not shown on mainstream media then it will not get any popularity, and maybe because it is illegal in your country that is why, All horse betting in my country was so popular back then because there was a joint near the horse betting field that people would make their bet and watch the horse race from there it was so popular that there are many people on the side of the streets watching and anticipating that they could win a bet, but eventually, it was stopped by the government due to betting addiction, but I think it is back again and because of social media and online sites it is now easy and convenient to make a bet at the comfort of your home,

It's not illegal, it's perfectly legal haha. Maybe illegal to show it on tv for sure, but you can't really race horses illegally I think in any small country, impossible to hide lol

Basically gambling is all legal but the license is very limited. I think old licenses cannot be revoked but to get new ones is very very hard.

In Philippines now they are making new zones for casinos I believe also in Indonesia coming up though so many new casinos and horse racing will open there. Comeback!!
1544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: May 05, 2023, 10:08:46 AM
It sometimes becomes so hard to reach those levels, definitely not a great way to do it, I personally try to avoid it as much as I can because it would take a long time but sometimes I just want to have fun and feel fine with doing so and that is why I end up working towards making a profit on it. Obviously it is not going to be that easy, it will take some time before we could end up with a profitable result, sometimes it will be a loss, most of the times in fact.

But, the reality is that it doesn't matter how much profit or loss you have, it's a bonus and you get to gamble a lot longer, there is nothing more. I hope that we get to see these bonuses a lot more frequently, must be hard for the casino to keep paying, so it may not be as frequent as we hope.

Yeah, I made quite some dangerous moves over the last few days, if you guys are on, there were 2 hour events of rush hour and Alessandra (nah she's not AI) makes new videos and chat games plus rains, so I managed to wager and win some bonuses. Total now is over $400 USDT of bonuses unlocked so I'm happy, plus of course a small profit.

But because of all that wagering I now gained even more bonuses lol. Now I have $535 bonus to unlock. And just now wagering for another 15 minutes to unlock $10 I will now win another $100 bonus for the hour... Not complaining for sure, just I wish I could forgo that bonus and let others win it. Or even make the bonus smaller, so we don't have to wager so much haha.

It's so addictive and dangerous to keep trying but I will be disciplined and let it all expire so I don't get tempted.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: May 05, 2023, 08:46:24 AM
One week break and the weird thing is we could win the title before we play (if Atletico lose, then they must win every game and we must lose every game, while making up 16 goal difference).

Of course the mathematics just means Barca have to make it impossible, but I think that week the title is confirmed.

nice win on Sociedad, somehow expected, but it is never easy to bet against Real or Barca

It's a weird week in a way, and the only game to bet on is Osasuna for me which I did looking at Real performance. I know they will win, that's what they gave La Liga away for, but you never know.

1546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 05, 2023, 07:33:37 AM
Well, it's quite good to stake since it gives profits without putting in a lot of effort but it does have it's cons as well. So before staking make sure that the coin or token that you are staking is a good one, that you are on a safe platform for staking, that the quantity is enough to make the profit from staking worth your while, etc., etc. Because for staking, there are risks due to it taking a long time before being able to get those profits. Some staking lasts for months and some for years. Some also gets locked till the staking duration is over. And believe me, a LOT of things can happen in just a span of few months. So be mindful of what coin you choose to stake and how reputable the staking platform you chose is.

When has something that you can get  and yet doesn't need effort been useful to you in any moment in life right?

Faucets? Airdrops? Staking?

I have done staking long ago, and made a huge experiment with it. I opened something like 20 wallets and bought the coins and staked them manually. I even opened POSwallet and maybe another 20 or 30 coins in there all staking for me.

Guess what? Did I make profit? I'm here, not rich and no longer staking.

It's con is literally a con Tongue

We have one very entertaining game in NBA today guys. They said whoever wins this series will be the Eastern Conference Champion but they will still have to go thru either Miami Heat or New York Knicks.

In BSFL, this is also a very important match (Miami and New York) because their outcome is one of the questions in the current round. They are now 1-1 and Miami is the favorite to win the last game, and it seems bookies are going half-half with that. Good luck if you're betting.

By the way, if you love sports, and you love sportsbet, then you have to join Bitcointalk Sports Fanatic League (BSFL)! Every week, compete for prizes on all kinds of sports.

1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 04, 2023, 09:39:32 AM
Always play Chelsea as single with +1 handicap to boast odds.

I meant playing on Chelsea to lose, actually single, it has been around 5x or more every last few games (except Champions League where it was still good odds on Real).

Chelsea handicap lately is just something like 2.5x, not so great for me.

Lol, no team has ever survived a title race against Manchester City, these guys are cheat code, a team with two first super IX? How can a team that plays Saka and Odegaard every week withstand that? We all know what happened the last time Manchester United tried it. Pep is a tactical genius; he never lets his players burn out; everyone is rotated and gets plenty of rest. This Pep system will last another 3-4 years. Engaging a tittle race with City is akin to pitting a tortoise against a horse.

Happy Liverpool fan? sticking to Klopp was the best decision ever. Call me crazy but I'm deeply missing Harry fcking Graham Potter. Thank you Lampard

Yeah, to be honest I never really felt anything like a connection to English teams but at least I can feel like neutral support for teams like Arsenal or even Liverpool, it feels like they don't use "cheat codes" like City and even United or Chelsea (buy Star player and win) but City takes it to new levels with super cheat code. Chelsea tried to use it but failed badly, lol

Look at Liverpool and Spurs and Arsenal, using same players every season who play full games like 40 or even 50 games, of course they are tired and injured. How do you compete with fresh squad, City B is as good as any team.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 04, 2023, 08:21:22 AM
(And still I dn't understand what you mean about picking 4 teams and still can get them 50/50 correct.
Maybe I am explaining it poorly since it is so clear to me   Grin I am saying that picking 4 upper bracket teams will most probably get you 3 correct answers just based on maths.

You have guaranteed 2 correct picks, and about even odds for other two.

Oh yes, which is what happened in the Dreamleague too Smiley Sorry, I think you answered well, I misread or didn't read well.

Weird how you read a different day and it makes sense :p

So basically the easier way to understand that is that, if you lose on the upper bracket then you will be getting to the lower bracket but if you lose on the lower bracket then you are going home. The group stage before the playoff is pretty much round robin to determine which teams starts from upper bracket, which team gets the lower bracket and which teams will be knocked out before the playoff

Anyway, Im rooting for you to win your first game before this season ends  Smiley

Yeah and if I understand how it works, most likely the team that drops to lower bracket is going to be favorite there anyway.

Thank you Smiley I also hope so, I am more or less relegated already but rely on other results, in any case I must win this round for a chance of that to happen Smiley
1551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: May 04, 2023, 06:36:08 AM
What is actually surprising to me is that people are already praying for the bull run and the $100,000 when they don't even have enough Bitcoin. To these people, are you really guys sure that you want Bitcoin to hit $100,000 already? Are you sure you already have enough? Many of you don't even have 1 BTC. Come on! When that proverbial $100,000 arrives, all we can only do is look back to the past and wish that we bought more.

I guess many who are into Bitcoin are greedy and opportunistic but also unmindful. I'm curious if many of them will hodl when $100,000 arrives. Many will probably sell and enjoy it. By the time $300,000 arrives, they will have nothing.

Nah, that is  not surprising at all, unless you are completely new to the crypto space...

Majority of people in crypto are praying for bull ever day, 100k? Try 1 million for Bitcoin. Try 100k for random coin of frogs and animals.

You're right they don't have enough Bitcoin, they don't have it. They have maybe 1 million random coin. If Bitcoin goes to 100k, they believe their coin goes x1000.

I hate to say it but people in crypto generally are worse than you think, and nothing surprised me anymore.
1552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to maintain profitability in crypto trading on: May 03, 2023, 11:06:18 AM
You do not have to increase your capital. Traders should not use more than the amount of money that they can afford to lose. But if they see more positive outcome like winning than losing, they may increase the amount of money that they are using to trade. But the increment should be gradual, it should not be abruptly and they should not be greedy.

Totally agree here. It's a really dumb idea to "increase capital" because in the first place, like any trading, you set your targets, set your limits, most important is your starting capital.

If you think you need $100, then start with that, don't start with less and "top up" later.

If you're topping up capital as a trader, you should really start realizing you're behaving like a gambler, who deposits more and more as he loses.

Besides with leverage why does anyone need a big capital?
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: May 03, 2023, 09:45:20 AM
The last time Real lost, they were resting their key players in front and in back. Last night, they had Courtois back but 2 key players missing in front.

This was very hard to know unlike EPL news which shares lineups easily, I guess Spanish sites have this too but Google doesn't show me until too late but still, well done to those who picked Socieded, which I only did in BSFL!!

Barca seal the title next week if they draw, or if Real don't win Smiley

Sociedad have big cushion now but meet all the top teams of La Liga in remaining fixtures!

Forgot to check for specials yesterday as it was actually a pretty big game and I saw at least the Jesus one and Arsenal win + BTTS both hit, did anyone bring home magic winnings from that??

After a big win some time back I have been making not-good picks and even winning back some insurance but losing that as well.

Now it is time to re-reset and go back to either singles or smaller multis, or stick to Arsenal specials to win back things.

I'll post back here if I win my most recent insurance freebet, if not, wait for another big odds single Wink

Harkorede 1, Me 1. At least I am not behind, thanks Real Madrid Tongue And damn Chelsea why you score??

Damn it guys I am really disappointed with you, this was easiest question in history of our league. I did not intend it to be that way when I was writing it and just realized it today when I tried to answer it. I opened the draw to see who to pick and we already had all upper bracket semi finalists known yesterday. That means if you just pick those 4 teams you have guaranteed 2 correct and about 50/50 chance to get other 2 correct as well. So all you had to do was open the page I shared a couple of times or any other with draw and copy paste all the teams in upper bracket to probably get 3/4 correct answers  Grin

I needed 10 seconds, somebody that doesn't know anything about how upper/lower bracket draw works would maybe need a bit more but I wrote about that here as well.

Trust me it's not as easy as you say. Even this draw information was so hard to find, as I was on different computer and trying to scroll up to find your post and in a rush just went from memory and odds. Wrong choice lol but anyway no more mistake. Now I just scrolled back and found your page, posting again and bookmarking now for everyone to see lol https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ESL_One/Berlin_Major/2023#Playoffs

(And still I dn't understand what you mean about picking 4 teams and still can get them 50/50 correct.

The page you show still doesn't explain this bracket system properly Sad I understand it now but only because dreamleague results and I figure it from there but the page really doesn't explain it well to me? Or is it my English??

I mean all I can see there is same as every site which says "Double-elimination bracket" and this means nothing :p

Anyway, great question and indeed shame on us for not understanding it even with explanation lol

Some sports gossip, care to share this new source of info you have...wouldn't mind getting a second opinion on my guesses with esport  Tongue

I looked at preview odds on Pointspreads.com they gave all the odds for those getting out of playoffs and no other site I found could do this. Liquidpedia posted above is better (but no odds).
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 02, 2023, 01:58:24 PM
Our gifts will continue as long as Lampard is still around; he is unlikely to win a single game until his contract expires; every Chelsea game is worth betting a small sum on.

I have been putting Chelsea against my tickets and so far so good. Problem is all the other bets on multilegs lose. If I had been wise enough to just put money on Chelsea singles (them losing) I would be something like 30x up already now Sad

I couldn't check my Superbru account because of being outside all day and couldn't make a prediction on the match. This was very sad for me as I thought this match would end up with a draw. Leicester's missing a penalty while it was 2-1 and a 2-2 final score reminded me of the West Ham - Arsenal match. A similar scenario happened there as well after Saka's missing a penalty.

I actually picked Everton to win because they really needed it, but still even Vardy can pop up to remember everyone he is still available to score goals. Maybe his last season in Premier League, I'm not surprised if he scores more often now in last few games.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | QFs on: May 02, 2023, 12:39:48 PM
I somehow missed all the drama of the other legs, apart from sevilla, who of course tricked me to bet on them again in La Liga lol

If only I just stick to giving them a miss along with Valencia, but it's very tough to see any other winner than Sevilla now even though the current semifinal players are all very very good.

Leverkusen seem stronger than Feyenoord above all else. If it werent for Xabi Alonso's system then I wouldn't have expected to see them reaching even this stage. But so many things have changed thanks to him. He started a better era around here and they are doing a pretty good job about balancing the Bundesliga and Europa League now. They can still have big difficulties in finishing the Bundesliga in top 4 while there are only a few matches left. They can still be a part of the Champions League by becoming the champions here. If they become consistent in both legs it isn't a low probability for them to push Roma out of here.

How little I know that I didn't realize Alonso was now managing? If he wins this he will be legendary, to beat Mourinho is not a small matter. I agree league route is not open because the top 4 will gain most of the points, so I'm sure he is calculating his chances here. But so is Mourinho Smiley
