Oh well, rdbase and swogerino, indeed it was Manchester City who let me down, but still, it makes me think I should add more games where I have no knowledge. I even picked Hertha Berlin and it made me almost as much as the multibet if it won!

Congratulations to all winners in this pool. I feel like I should have done better but in the end, teams like Brighton and Brentford kept defeating the chances of others, and most of us didn't agree.

According to this post, there are actually 18 prize spots, so I actually won something, my fee back!!

Could I suggest updating OP for future seasons Wink

We've got 58 people signed up now. Updated the payouts:

Lets try to get 60 so we can have top 20. A couple of people have said they will pay so we should hit that. Any additional places will now just go towards a prize for the highest overall yellow cap (the highest weekly round score for those who haven't played before).
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 29, 2023, 08:10:45 AM
Thankfully, I know how to trade and invest, so it has always been the two approaches instead of thinking that a less risky investment. Even holding my Bitcoin when it rises and sending it to my USD account when it falls and repeating the processes again gives me more return yearly than staking.

Not sure what you mean by sending it to your USD account, care to share your precise USD platform and wallet? Cause that sounds like a really long and complicated process, losing a lot of fees.
I will add USDT to my former post, as I guess I was the one who didn't elaborate on it or added USDT to make it clear some misunderstanding. The thing is that in my Bitcoin investments, I use FX broker (there is one I use that has a BTC wallet within the member area and already has 13 years of service), Skrill (it has Bitcoin wallets too and has lasted over 2 decades) and Exchanges, in which I use USDT.

My former post might be confusing to you because the first two use USD accounts, so I easily move my Bitcoin from the account to their internal Bitcoin wallet for investment during a bullish trend and move it back to the USD account during the bearish season of the coin. This is the same thing I do with the exchanges I use too, only that theirs is in USDT.

Ah I see, so you actually do mean that you trade, but you claim to earn more yearly income than staking. Currently BTC staking I see at centralized exchanges are around 5%. You actually make more than 5% just by trading? Considering min 1% exchange fee and I think it is more especially broker rates are not the same, you have to make more than 7% a year trading.

7% a year means around 40% after compounding for 5 years.

You must be a really really good trader Smiley

Good luck keeping your Bitcoin on brokers and exchanges... you probably know that's the worst thing you can ever do.

Was it last season there was one guy who was late several months because he disappeared? Or something like that. And I believe this round we don't have anything to worry about from that because the absent guy tomahawk9 is not in any winning position in any pool... still hope he's fine.

6 points from prizes, seems so far away, and all the top guys are doing so well, but at least these last 2 weeks is going to be super exciting.

Thank you Rodrygo Wink
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 28, 2023, 08:17:59 AM
Yesterday, I made 2 bets totally using odds instead of "knowledge" and totally in a league I didn't even follow, and so far out of the 6 games, 4 were all correct. Remaining 2 games are English, and now I worry because the games I sort of picked based on estimations of what I know so I might not do well lol

First was Manchester City, who got zero to play for except I don't know more clean sheets and more goals?

Then I went for Everton, who got everything to play for. May they stay in Premier League!

To reduce opportunity for jinx I will share betslip only if I win!

Essentially you're talking about a trading method. And it doesn't sound at all sustainable, cause everyone makes mistakes eventually predicting this "fall".

I personally think all the traders who say they make money year after year... are making things up Smiley

Proof or it did not happen Wink

Enjoying 8 satoshi base freeroll everybody? I know it's tiny but more satoshi during bear is always a nice thing!!
I get 16 sat freerolls every hour,
I receive 6 satoshi every hour.
i am 3x of your income,

Jeez, guys, it's the basic of FBC haha. I said base freeroll as you can see in my quoted post, that means the minimum amount of satoshi you get, which is actually fixed on a USD cost of 0.2 cents.

Anything more you get is from bonus, which you get from wager or buying lottery tickets. It's literally explained above the payout table on the main freeroll page Wink

I actually get 126 satoshi, but that's including the bonus of 119. My base is the same as everyone, depending on price of BTC (currently 7). It's very close to 8, as it was when I posted yesterday.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 27, 2023, 09:12:28 AM
But enough about CR7, I agree with Ulven, time to see Edin Dzeko and even ex United Mikhi a time to bow out on a grandstage Smiley

And before that, we will have the final round of the Premier League on Sunday, with crucial matches taking place simultaneously. There will be a battle to avoid relegation and secure a favorable position, particularly for Everton, who haven't been in the second division for over 40 years.

I think it all depends on Leicester. Everton might not win, but it won't matter if Leicester can't find a way to get 3 points. I feel a bit bad for both teams. Everton was flying not so long ago under Ancelotti, that was great football. Leicester won the title less than 10 years ago, so we know they played amazing too. But they've just been really so bad this season both don't deserve to stay.

The worse thing for me is in their current shape, it might not even be easy in the lower league. Once you fall, it's a huge problem to come back up.

I went with Leclerc today for the first time this season, pole and fastest. This is only because it seems this is where his old magic can still happen so hope I didn't lose from ignoring what has happened so far this season Smiley

But still I'm not confident he has what it takes to win or shall I say, no confidence in Ferrari at all.

Prediction picks went totally different so I should be right in one of them lol
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 26, 2023, 11:26:20 AM
I would bet on at least 1 team dropping to Europa, maybe it is a BSFL question one round later Wink

I think that Manchester United of this season cannot be taken as a reference team, they had a lot of up and downs but most likely they have improved in these recent times and I think a few reinforcements will do good to them. For them I hate their coach as he was responsible for making Cristiano to go away in Saudi Arabia while I believe Cristiano has enough to give more to whatever league he plays, including the Premier League.

I think that for next season there is enough time for all the teams participating in Champions to get a couple of new players, harmonize them in the team and be ready to compete at a high level there.

Well you can hate the coach but he was also responsible for making United a better team. Making Rashford, even Martial, recover from their old ways and giving back their confidence.

Making the whole team better in confidence really, by taking away the problem, which is Ronaldo.

But enough about CR7, I agree with Ulven, time to see Edin Dzeko and even ex United Mikhi a time to bow out on a grandstage Smiley

Nice idea I guess but it will definitely be one of the ugliest buildings in the world to me.

Why would anyone rich enough to stay there make stakes into the building during their stay anyway, seems just a dumb marketing idea. Which blockchain are you gonna wrap your BTC on?

Or are we supposed to trust them like a ponzi? In this case building a pyramid is a better idea Wink
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: May 26, 2023, 08:58:16 AM
I don't know why, but I had my doubts in Sevilla, so I took a double chance on them, but still lost my multibet - because of Real Madrid. I thought they could win with a -1 goal handicap. Too bad as it was a good multi bet with a total odd of 4.12 (I also chose Villarreal to win).

I know why, because they spent time playing with relegation and had a huge hangover from World Cup, not to mention they have a crazy team and coach anyway lol.

It's very very annoying for sure, I know we all said the same thoughts on this team but they always have goods odds right?

Now it absolutely messes with Barca game -- odds should even improve after this eh KTChampions? Big money opportunity or trap?

I am most likely going to hate myself but I'm going for Barca final game as a big win, if my bets until that day all lose. Already lost my freebet yesterday on stupid U20 games lol

You are due a win by the unholy laws of probability, say a prayer to Pascal every night before you sleep

I say this prayer all the time every day probably. When I gamble online for jackpot. Or if I bet 1000x multibet on sports. When the Lambo draw happens. Every Sunday for lotto.

In real life when I buy a number Wink

Anyway, the worst thing to happen is to hit, but the tiniest prize lol

Hah Chelsea the destroyer of Jinetics? Don't worry man, still a long way to go, if you need cheering look at me. Not even worth anything and no pressure and I still only got 1 point so far. I think you should win the goals total too, unless everyone plays for 0-0 but not likely Smiley

I can't wait to see who my new competitors are in Div2 Smiley
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: May 25, 2023, 11:22:21 AM
I'm sorry to say but I agree with you guys. I really don't know what is in the head of these guys. The coaches especially I think let us down. We want a competitive league, look even at City yesterday won the title already but still got so mad that Pep got carded, that's what I was hoping from Xavi.

And Sevilla again? WTF. How does Elche get 15 attempts? I got my freebet insurance back but I thought that should have been the easiest game in my entire multibet.

1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 25, 2023, 10:17:58 AM
I would bet that all English teams will pass the group and even Newcastle without Cristiano and without any buy in player to improve the team. The reason I believe so is that the motivation of teams like Manchester United,Arsenal and Newcastle will be at the highest level and honestly I don't know any league who is able to compete with English teams except maybe the Spanish one,so England is the strongest league in Europe and mostly also in the world and it is only natural for me to expect a full qualification of all of the teams from Premier League.

I agree is not the same without Liverpool but still the teams will qualify out of the group stages.

United seem to be very bad at dealing with ANY Spanish team, I mean losing cup to Villareal and getting KO by Sevilla. Not Sevilla of last few seasons but Sevilla of this season.

Liverpool bogey is Real Madrid. But also Atletico 50/50.

But don't forget Italian clubs also do well against English, Liverpool must remember Ancelotti and Milan, but also recently Napoli.

I would bet on at least 1 team dropping to Europa, maybe it is a BSFL question one round later Wink

Bitcoin I buy ALL the time anyway so I don't get why people think it's a good idea to buy BTC only when dollar crashes Wink
I don't believe in a US default because it will kill a lot of US companies.Only big banks and companies will survive.
China has about a trillion dollars worth of treasuries and Japan has about the same. The US has a good debt-to-GDP ratio. The US can punish China with sanctions if there is a war with Taiwan, but what about other creditors?

I agree, it's impossible to see this happen. Remember all the past default scares were just easily overturned, they raise the debt ceiling. This time they just wanted something extra from the president, to give in, show some power or show him to be weak, whatever it was.

Eventually maybe a default will happen but not this term and even if so, I don't think it ends up being death spiral for US. China doesn't want it either, as long as currency is strong they benefit from strong USD.

I think Perez is rightly the favorite, however I still think Verstappen has the distance in his armory to pull it right from the start, I have a feeling even from pole Perez will have some incident with (Ferarri lol).

The incident happened last year stemmed from the big mistake Ferrari pit wall made.
And what happened year before that?  Smiley
If it happens once ok, but when it happens more time than it is not coincidence.
Leclerc had to withdraw from the race before the race started in the year before that. And Verstappen won the race who started it in first place. You can win against a car which withdraws from the race before it starts with even a bicycle.  Grin

I think it can happen twice, if it happens three times you have to fire the idiots or the pit crew, most likely the managers though lol

I say twice because shit always happens same things twice before you make a resolve to stop things from happening Wink
