I know I should also be having good nostalgia from those days, although my days were really in 2017, but they were when I was so busy researching and supporting so many projects. Investing my own money and really "following the dream". Crash hurt me so bad though that I almost left, especially because I used so much of my BTC to "diversify" into alts.
Lessons were so learned that year lol.

I see that the majority of people answered as "Mercedes" to the 9th question. This made me really surprised because Ferrari have brought serious upgrades to the car. I thought that they would be potentially ahead of Mercedes on paper.
Me too, I thought everyone would go for Ferrari actually, and thought maybe I would be a smart guy to pick Mercedes, but mainly because I think Hamilton would have an advantage in this track, I always feel like locals get such a big boost. Guess a lot of others thought the same @Jinetics1111 looks like we have something to fight for next round! Someone tell me about Tour de France how to see? They have GRAND standings and also winner of each race. Is it points system for wins or just total time taken?

So some news if anyone likes Ricciardo, he's back for British GP already Reserve of course so testing, for another old name back And at the same time 2024 schedule is announced. More sustainable so more races in a single region hence starting at Bahrain and ending at Abu Dhabi. GREAT idea thinking of the logistics problems this season!! Didn't realize this until now, very sad, and a constant reminder how dangerous this sport can be and the risks drivers/racers take to give us entertainment It was so sudden and at only 18 years old on the Belgium track, I think that Corner was what they call Eau Rouge correct me if I am wrong, and this is a famous track where if a driver is new in driving towards it you can have an uneasy feeling on it, No idea about the corners or names, but I would feel like if those corners are already identified as dangerous and new drivers don't like it, shouldn't they do something about it? I mean, I love to watch exciting turns we all do but no excitement is worth the safety risk.

To me, bitcoin can be trusted. There are several factors why I have confidence in Bitcoin due to its proven level of stability, such as a strong history of performance, wide adoption by large companies, decentralized blockchain technology, and set supply limits.
Geez, if stability, strong history, wide adoption are the main components that make you trust Bitcoin, then you probably want to trust gold and US dollars even much much more. And when fiat currencies implement blockchain for CBDC on blockchain with supply limits, you would trust them even more lol Bitcoin is trustless, which makes it the most trustworthy. That's the whole point right?

Hmm. I honestly don't get why this is good news.
Reddit doesn't have a money transmitter license does it, and they can still have people send Reddit coins to each other, just not USD. Why would Twitter have needed to help people send Bitcoin when they can do so to each other ANYWAY.
Tip bots already happened, nobody needed transmitter license for that.
It just needs to accept Bitcoin just like any other site that accepts Bitcoin, that's what helps adoption. I don't get why this is exciting news. Sorry but we don't have to add Bitcoin angle to everything.

So I'm a bit of a happy dog because of the penalties in last race, but I'm sure everything evens out in other tracks so I won't celebrate so soon just wondering how long more my pool position can last lol Any tips for British track? Is it dumb to take Hamilton win? Or just go safe for podium? Some very tragic news they mentioned just now while watching the live coverage before the race. Dilano van 't Hoff in MP motorsport lost his life in an accident on the track. He was a dutch driver too. Very somber note in today's race to be extra careful from what the F1 drivers said during their interviews on the matter yesterday. It was due to the rain on a certain corner in SPA.
Didn't realize this until now, very sad, and a constant reminder how dangerous this sport can be and the risks drivers/racers take to give us entertainment

It's got nothing to do with license, it's got nothing to do with self custody and safety etc. People honestly don't care or don't know about these things.
People want to have the easiest experience. Signing up in 1 step with Google. Recovery with email if necessary.
Nobody I know loves to open up a wallet, remember the seed phrase and then have the worry of keeping their own wallet safe which is absolutely what you need to do to use a DEX. Those using DEXs are like us, or are people who want to chase some kind of Defi dream.
Even among Bitcoin people, so few use DEX, including me. I still just use CEX to sell BTC as it's the easiest.

Bitcoin, btw, can't be controlled by Tweets anymore. Unless idiots massively follow and do something nonsensical after it.
So in such a scenario where people after seeing a tweet start doing nonsensical things, what will you call that? Has the tweet controlled Bitcoin or not? It has, because by virtue that the tweet literally made people act in a certain manner against their will which affected Bitcoin, it has controlled it, of which out of everybody in this world, there are two bigger influencers that I know just a single tweet of this about Bitcoin negatively or positively could make its price swing into a different direction, and they are "Elon Musk" which we once saw what his tweet did and "Changpeng Zhao" the CEO of Binance, crypto's biggest exchange in the world. That's regular dumb moves made by people, but it's all very very very very short term. If you can cause a twitch in a body but can't determine what the body does, are you controlling the body? If you knock a hammer on a resting knee at the doctor's, you are asking for the "knee jerk" reaction. It's all that is. It's not controlling the body, it's asking for a jerk. It lasts less than 1 second. So is the hammer controlling the body? No. So the Tweet controlling sheeple? YES absolutely. Tweet controlling Bitcoin? Come on, ask yourself the question properly again. Elon Musk controls people's minds, I bet you all my BTC he can Tweet about Bitcoin every single day and name his next child Bitcoin, and BTC price might go up, but it'll go back to normal after all the sheeple calm down.

I know absolutely nothing about cricket except that it's a sport that is popular in... India? Or is it some other country? I see that Sri Lanka is killing their opponents. I expected India to be the best in cricket. And I was absolutely surprised to see European countries like Netherlands and Scotland trying to qualify for the World Cup in cricket. I had no idea that cricket is a popular sport in those countries.
All of South Asia loves cricket so yes that's India and Pakistan with the most viewers. In India when big cricket matches come on, the whole country stops working. It's worse than football because whole families watch together. I wanted to wait for Scotland match yesterday but couldn't. I thought Zimbabwe would surely win but British teams can't be underestimated I guess. When I put in my answers, Zimbabwe had so much time and they were 1.1x to win

Hey OP you should activate this thread again and change the titles (along with Europa and Conference).
There are major threads already, but since they're not self-moderated, they have so much garbage in them.
Wanted to follow some news about qualifiers, usually it's very hard to find news about them anyway but does anyone have any super tip like what happened with Sheriff qualifying?

@FiveG Your friend keeps his Bitcoin on an iPhone app? So many things here say it's a big lie. Not from him, because you made him up Do you guys really enjoy making all these madeup stories so much? I mean, seriously, 3 "pieces" of Bitcoin lol Yeah, he got lucky. All of my coins now didn't come alive haha even though I background check it and do some research about their projects, he is lucky that his token's project owner survive bear market and didn't go bankrupt. But what he is doing to diversify his investment of course but for now it is still really good to do some research first before anything else.
He didn't got lucky he got made up. I challenge him to name even 1 single coin that went down to zero, and then went up enough to make 3 BTC. Ok let's say he got 10 coins so each coin had to go from almost zero to 0.3 BTC. I bet he can't even show one such coin.

Under news section, got it lol thanks for the mention again, I hope to see the name mentioned more in positive tones for future, watch out Division 2! And LFC_Bitcoin come on, you can do it! Get a few more wins in Most interesting for Kokee to get 6 points and still lose, what a feeling it must be. OK who here actually knows about cricket? I know a little bit, but very very shallow, in fact in family am the only one who prefers football!! congrats to Spain for winning U19 basketball, USA without medal in the end
And I wonder if it will be similar for football, replacing USA with England instead, cousins from a very distant parents, but it is very tight when it comes to Spain youngsters, although I know very little about them to make a pure judgment.

I wonder if OKX is the same as OKEX exchange? Can't be bothered to check, any CEX is bad to me, so it makes sense they go together with City Crypto didn't have an easy path with sports but Sportsbet made a lot of paths and roads for others to follow. Anyway, no betting for me for a while now, my luck in Brazil and Japan is running out, need a reset and break, for a week or two. @jeremypwr nice post about Nathans Hot Dog. Nobody can beat the black widow, but I guess she retired a long time ago

I mean if you are after a "strategy" then I agree that it is a good strategy, but at the same time if we are talking about having fun, then this sucks the fun right out of everything and I honestly hope that it doesn't get there.
I believe that you should always gamble the way you want to gamble and can have the most fun, if this is the way you will have the most fun then you should do that, but that doesn't mean that you should do it because it would be efficient and you would not have fun but you would have the highest chance of making money. That means you are doing something you do not want to do, not having fun, and probably still not making any profit as well, none of those makes any sense to me at all and should be avoided. Only valid advice if it is fun for you.
Well you obviously weren't paying attention to all our posts from before then if you think we were talking about "having fun" lol. I mean, it goes without saying, you're gambling for entertainment and if you think you're trying to make it big, you're delusional. But there's nothing wrong with us all talking about FUN tokens, and wagering requirements all to squeeze out the best we can from a high HE. In fact I find it fun to be as efficient as possible, it's kinda cool to figure out all these things. Instead of making a rather longwinded post saying the same thing over and over about fun, why not actually contribute to the FBC strategies?

Koreans never had that much interest in Dota 2 since they are more focused on League and Starcraft at the time. The only Korean team I knew of that has somewhat become successful is MVP with DuBu. Even I am quite surprised that in an RTS as complex as Dota 2, the Koreans aren't excelling that much. China, on the other hand, have focused more on Dota 2 instead of League, and they're the ones whom the rest of the world are looking at when they're looking at new strategies on new patches.
LOL! That's exactly what I remembered about SEA people as well, growing up seeing them in cybercafes playing especially Starcraft and that game Counterstrike, I used to sleep hearing the cybercafes below me with the same "counter-terrorists win" message, with Koreans and Vietnamese all together cursing each other with Indonesians lol. So it's why I'm really surprised they didn't translate to DOTA. I didn't like any of the games, "strategy" seemed less important than speed of coordination (to my observation) cause the same guys who really good at Starcraft couldn't beat us at the turn-by-turn strategy games.

After 2 wins and 2 draws, sorry for breaking your perfect streak leea lol, the supporters are dreaming of good days again, and my team are trying to get used to not so familiar position, even in different division. Manager is being praised, players are being praised, but critics say results are sliding with only 2 goals scored in last question. I like new sports, never heard of the names or even understand the cycling but it's a great famous sports, well done Cro2! Cricket too lol you guys must have been seriously busy breaking brains! I like this format I don't mind. In World Cup we expect to see majority questions from there, same Champions League, for sure if the whole world watches it, we can't complain

We all know that Social Media is the boss to each and every news. 90% of our lives is controlled by the social media and our social media activities. The power of social media can be easily seen when Elon musk twitted about Dogecoin, and the price just boomed more than 100x in few mins. That’s the power of social media and influential people. Bitcoins can also be controlled upto certain extent in the similar manner, if a big personality wants to increase the price of the coin, then he will simply just do some posts about the coin, and the price will automatically go up.
Only if you let it. I saw how bad it was for me. 90%? I think maybe if you take away the time I eat, work, take shower, sleep, I was almost 95% social media. It slowly stole from my life and work. I took a strong decision and I cut myself off from social media, and life is better. If you're thinking to use social media to try and trade or get news about crypto, it's a bad decision. Trust me as someone who's been there and done that. Bitcoin, btw, can't be controlled by Tweets anymore. Unless idiots massively follow and do something nonsensical after it.
