2221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canadian Hate Speech Laws on: January 11, 2015, 09:53:33 PM
I think nearly all western countries now ( here in the UK too ) have some kind of hate speech laws in place or hate crime law and it's stupid shit invented by old white men and as I've actually seen people comment it's just white guilt. Also saw a very interesting interview with John Cleese and Bill Maher and he said it was very codascending that they somehow need 'more' protection than us which I completely agree with.

If the law gives favourtism towards certain groups simply based on ethnic or religious backgrounds then there is no equality.

Why does no one ever tell you this shit about women when you're young and need to know about it? Sad
2223  Other / Off-topic / Re: whats the most important thing you do daily? on: January 11, 2015, 09:37:37 PM
daytrading and getting Bitcoins even if I'm only scavenging fractions  = more money = even more money Tongue
2224  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why girl closes her eyes when boy kiss her ??? on: January 11, 2015, 09:36:22 PM
As the titles says "Why girl closes her eyes when boy kiss her Huh"

I know its a foolish question lol but i dont know !!

If u close your eyes u improve your tactile sensation, just like dardevil Wink

So they're doing that so they can train to seduce you and know what you like?! Now you've made me even more paranoid about women!
2225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp back up and all has returned to normal. Will the media cover this too? on: January 10, 2015, 12:24:50 PM
As I've said in other threads, they want a narrative, so they'll ignore anything that breaks that, Bitcoin is unstable, unreliable and not a currency, that's what they're going to stick with for as long as the dollar stays alive, then when paper money collapses they'll pretend they were with us all along. Most news journalists operate on a predatory pack mentality and try to pick the side they think is going to win, there is plenty of evidence of this when the election season comes in, even here in the UK when we had the general elections last time round the BBC immediately sided with the conservative party when they had done the maths.
2226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explain WHY bitcoin would be good for a third world country. on: January 10, 2015, 12:22:45 PM
okey, yes yes, i do understand completely now how this would help. thanks for the video it really helped! i guess now all we need to do is ti get it more used and inform people of the benefits and freedom

Why is it that people like you take such genuine pride in being stupid and ignorant?
2227  Other / Meta / Re: "Ignore" button on: January 10, 2015, 11:05:26 AM
There used to be a listing of some kind I remember that showed percentage but I don't think that's around anymore, as others have already said, the amount of colour on the ignore function is a good indicator, so someone with dark orange is usually not someone you want to talk to very much if they've managed to piss off that many people.

With withdrawals working again, it's probably a good idea to get your assets out of Bitstamp. Don't use them as a wallet. Trade there if you like, but empty out your account when not actively trading.

That should be standard practice for any exchange, never use exchanges and online wallets or any public service for longterm storage, you do not have control over your coins there!
2229  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITSTAMPS BACK! on: January 09, 2015, 09:45:26 PM
I'd be very surprised if they even acknowledged this positive thing at all, they like to focus on a narrative and once they've decided with it they'll go with it even when piles of evidence stack up against them.
2230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITSTAMPS BACK! on: January 09, 2015, 08:20:36 PM
This is very good news.  Hopefully having a main exchange will restore some confidence in bitcoin.  Thanks LiteCoinGuy for the summary.

Price already ticking up!  Good Luck everyone!

no problem. i would recommend that anybody should change the password? why? just do it.

You're right, like with Bitcointalk hacks, if you're using an old password and it's floating around the internet someone could get at your stuff, always use easy to remember and interchangable passwords and do not ever use one password for your financial accounts, especially if that password is also the same as the one in your day to day and social accounts.

Trading begins at 4pm EST. That's 1 hour from now.

What will happen to the price when trading resumes? Do you think there will be a lot of sellers?

I have a feeling the price will go up when trading resumes.

Especially if all the lost coins are refunded, it will make MT.GOX look very, very bad.
Well, MtGox claimed to have lost all 750,000 coins. They would be in no position to refund that.
Bitstamp was hit for a smaller amount.

When you look at how many coins MT.GOX lost in comparison to Bitstamp I'm not convinced at all MT.GOX 'lost' them, the maths just didn't add up, either it was a gross negligance of their security or someone on the inside ( I'm more and more thinking it was Mark Karpeles himself ) went and took them.

What a prick, trying to insinuate Anarchists are thieves, I know the media always likes to paint Anarchists as looters and criminals but this ones new considering how many support the idea of cryptocurrencies lol.

I grew up seeing the meme of "bomb-throwing anarchists" everywhere. I had no idea what it was about, but it was ubiquitous.

"They" must be very afraid of anarchy. A search yields:

"an·ar·chy
ˈanərkē/
noun
noun: anarchy

a state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.
"he must ensure public order in a country threatened with anarchy"
synonyms:   lawlessness, nihilism, mobocracy, revolution, insurrection, disorder, chaos, mayhem, tumult, turmoil
"conditions are dangerously ripe for anarchy"
    antonyms:   government, order
absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal."

The synonyms are a hoot, imho. I rather like the last item from some brave person - it apparently snuck in undetected.      Grin

I was the same, Anarchists were the bad guys according to everyone, of course, after studying history and economics I've learned that governments and reliigious organisations are far more organised, numerous and active in the crimes they commit.

2236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama wants 2 FREE years of Community college for all students! on: January 09, 2015, 08:29:36 AM
The biggest problem isn't even necessarily going to be educating the new generation coming into college, the main problem you have is entire generations like me who were completely fucked over by education and aren't lucky enough to go out and get training in a proper skillset that helps an economy move or have knowledge of cryptocurrencies for that matter.

It's a blatant problem in the UK, these guys only give a fuck about making their college's and schools look good and have good statistics for beauracrats to wave about so they can congratulate themselves, once you're out the door your on your own. For being such a welfare state America and nations like it do a fantastic job of abandoning people who would benefit from it the most, I'm lucky enough to have parents look after me, but can you imagine how fucked someone in a more difficult situation is going to be if their parents are too poor too afford extra tuition or worse they need them to go into work right away?

Signature campaigns Smiley

How much do you earn per month, if that's not a secret?

0.0007btc per post, maximum 0.035btc per week.
I haven't been in for month yet so I am not sure how much I make in month.

0.035 x 4 = 0.14 so that's 0.14btc a month.

Because what something someone else did several centuries ago always justifies killing defenceless people, sigh.
