+1 I agree NO PUBLIc PUMP. BlackShield was cool. Antiwhale funds are cool so we can take whales by surprise... but a public pump is kind of stupid. If it happens I'm sure everyone here will be trying to sell into it. (Who benefits?) Please lets make the shield or we can all invest in a mining farm for the multipool or something.
My opinion is that any kind of market manipulation is bad, even the shield if it is public because it can also be manipulated and dumped into it. The shield will not be visible! The multipool can hold the shield in reserve! This way it adds to support. Dumping will be impossible without dropping the small sell orders. |

Well, there's a job that needs doing. Now you'll have to stop giving the idea away. And march on towards completion.
I could give it away... Besides... there is a special way to market it. So even if someone downright steals it there are so many little kinks to consider that they will screw up the marketing. Im not in it to make money. Totally free software... open source right out the gate. |

I can even throw down on some stock footage if people know what they want. The sound file is in audacity... I think I saved the audacity file with the layers (fingers crossed). Thanks for going to the trouble. As an idea it could be debated as to whether an advert would need or want to be that aggressive in its suggestive nature, or in fact as a promotional video it might be completely right. In some regards perhaps its a question as to whether its a hard line promotional video being made or an infomercial. I wouldn't have minded a play with it, but I'm playing with other ideas. Which I'd like to see get finished then *ignored/*slammed (I guess) I think people could be a little more considerate about how they are criticising people's efforts as it will also put people off. Otherwise we will have to club together again and just buy some usb sitcks put a wallet with 10bc on it and have them given away at the oscars, or other events. More likely technology conferences in goody bags. But that all costs us. On top of the Doge SF conference that we are sponsoring, which is a brilliant idea. Btw, there was a group buy for an asic miner. I don't know if you guys know, you should try the irc. Africanos I think was doing that.. Dont worry mate I have something that can make BC pass Bitcoin. My first version of the program is for Bitcoin but the second will be for Black. I will need c++ devs... totally willing to pay unless rat4 wants it. Its going to make Bitcoin world changing too. So excited about my secret project. i only talk about it on this forum. Im about 1-2 weeks away from finishing. Of course there is also compiling *ugh*... the unofficial release so people can review the code and have fun with it and other things. Well I hope it works out. And I look forward to seeing it done. IT will allow for instant cross platform decentralized exchange of cash coins etc. Trusting of untrustworthy parties, unhackable accounts, ability for chinese to fund with cash, paypal without chargebacks. I am not going into much detail because I want to make it a surprise. But yeah its the thing crypto is waiting for basically. It will enable decentralized markets, email, commodity exchange decentralized ebay NOT AN ALT... not stupid middle coin. No 3rd party bs. It will allow for bitcoin cash by a decentralized minting and backing process. Its a great project. Like I said... 1.0 almost done just finishing up and looking for bugs. Last night there was post about how to raise fund/pool to be able to eat sell walls. What about buying share for a KNC miner (when it will be available of course) like the one you can buy at the black coin shop. BTC generated would then be used to enable the black shield.
How about crowdfunding a mining rig? Say everyone chips in 10-1000 dollars. Like a "kickstarter" Campaign. They get shares from the pool in return. Maybe have a blackcoin kickstarter for a mining rig to mine itself. All gridseeds or knc. 1000 people donate and we got ourselves a 40K rig. |

I would use a more stylish professional font for the text. Keep up the good work! Trust me I would have... but im on a serious time crunch this took me about 3 hours. I wont be able to hash out a 2nd draft for at least a week until I'm done with my "big secret project" haha. I would like a font recommendation from the devs if the know which one they want to use, I'm all ears. I can stylize it too and probably add a cut scene with a few coins hanging on for dear life. Maybe a cut scene with things rattling and rolling away. Much options. So marketing. |

Did you make those sounds?  I think the idea is good and it actually looks good, but "The coin that eats other coins" kinda sounds meh, I'd replace it with "Always bet on black" or something else. It's pretty solid for a 1st commercial though. Ok the new one is up. By the way... I made all the sound effects with the exception of the 5 seconds from the day in the life. I tried to keep it simple and sweet. Could definitely go further with it but totally on a time crunch with a huge project that will change crypto. Will mention BC when I do... |

Anyway, these are pedantic niggles, good on you for putting it out there ........ Hahaha ohh yeah it is huh... well considering a majority of coins are plajarists anyway I dont think i will be seeing a cease and desist letter for using 3 seconds of audio... it really very much suits the videos context. A perfect crescendo. Besides so many crypto goers probably dont know who the beatles are. I felt old as hell when I would meet people in their early 20s who did not know who biggie smalls was. And Britney Spears to them is ancient dinosaur music. *sigh*... I dont feel like contracting a symphony although like i said i have lots of voiceover people. (I like the coin that eats other coins because there are so many stupid coins that need to be eaten... its a public service) I just think its more important to get miners interested and that tagline will definitely do it. (They will google "why does he say it eats other coins"/black shield etc) Yeah, but still, I think "the coin that eats" is a bit too agressive. Compared with "always bet on black" which for me expresses the "caracter" of the coin and it sounds classy  Hmm ok... besides I mention a multipool that "pumps" afterwards... the black hole is a good visual imagery. Ok I will change the tagline and extend the video by at least 10 seconds. No voiceover yet but not opposed to the idea. Add me to the "don't like the eating reference" list, makes it seem that that is the main focus of BC. Oh, and maybe might be a good idea to use a piece of music that isn't as well known as the climax of The Beatles Day in the Life ? There is no piece of music that I can think of that suits it better but I'm open for suggestions. Also its old enough that there is no copyright. Regardless uploading new version as we speak. |
