Hey uneng, I didn't see your thread until now, just popping in to say "wow" what a commitment and good luck, I'm sure you're already way in profit now and with BTC recovering well, you could be looking at a great savings return.

Like you, I see FUN solely for the Premium benefits, I'm collecting spins myself on my second year, locking it simply to get the APY.

Good luck!!

Napoli looked in such good shape I went ahead and added their next 2 games into my tickets, one tonight in Coppa and one in Serie A later.

Disclaimer is the odds are not good (tonight for example is home favorite against Cremonese) so I might be following bad instinct to use such games as multibet "top up" but I think this team is going to be like Arsenal, mostly dependable in small and big games.

Yeah I'll let TheQuin respond to that, but from my experience, I've won the lottery once, but that was only me noticing because I kinda keep a close track of my balance every day. Not so much I watch it but I know it more or less!

And one day I saw it had gone up. Checked the lottery page, saw my ID on it. Wasn't a lot but it was something, and nice to be there.

There was no notification that I noticed, also not in email. I'm quite sure I have all notifications on as I get deposits alerts.

One of my freebets from the last round of prediction contests needs Sociedad to win today, but I made sure that's the only Spanish game on my ticket. Even seemed to do better adding basketball and South American football. Let's see if I regret.

But back to Spain lets see if what i say at the beggining its true or Barca finally find his form.

And to see if Real Madrid were just suffering like the Spanish were in Qatar or it's just a phase. By the way, it struck me actually that there are almost no Spanish spirit left starting in the final for Real... only Carvajal. Sign of the times?

Well, this is good news, although the burned tokens correspond to 0,16% of total supply. The more they burn tokens, the better for stability and price increasement on long term. Results are quite positive, since the burning rate is increasing each new quadrimester:
Those figures are good because they are still rising but as they admit themselves this quarter increase is only "slight" if we compare it to the previous ones. So I really hope we won't see this slow-down again at the next quarter because it would mean that we are starting to reach a limit of the FUN adoption by gamblers. The official roadmap is empty for the coming quarters so except the XFUN wallet integration to Freebitcoin and some marketing campaigns and promotions, I don't really see what will increase the adoption in the coming months.
https://funtoken.io/funtoken-roadmap/

I hate to be a bummer here but I can speak from experience of many, many altcoins that I've held or watched over the years. Burn mechanisms simply don't work as they are expected to. Not on price effect anyway, because the supply is far too big to create this "scarcity effect", which anyway only happens when we deal with limited supply non-premined coins like Bitcoin where new supply is generated at a cost.

You can even burn 10 times the amount they burned (1.6%) and it won't have market effect Smiley

Good that you did. I lost a lot of money, and I was supposed to just stay put because of it today but I decided to pour in all my Livecasino campaign satoshi sofar into SB and try win it back today with Arsenal (which is looking great at 2.3x).

Finally a day without a single surprise result in the Premier League,Chelsea had that absolute needed victory in order to find the missing serenity in the team from quite some time now although they need to keep going like that because a single victory won't do any good to them in the long term.

Newcastle just got what they wanted, the three points and stopped Fulham from making history if they had won this game,it would have been the 5th consecutive for Fulham, something never before done in their history,I wonder if it is 17 or 18 games without a loss for Newcastle, something along these lines.

Arsenal so far is dominating the game and winning comfortably but since this is a derby anything can happen but most likely Arsenal is going to win this.

Yes, indeed! I mentioned already I skipped Chelsea and Newcastle, which I guess I shouldn't have, but not complaints, because taking Arsenal at 2.2x++ was the best decision ever.

Put a large bet (for my standards) and it hit pretty easily in the end, even though Spurs played much better in second half.

This covered 80% of my losses in previous week, and then last night Supercopa bet also hit, so I am back to a good start thanks to just Arsenal and Benzema lol.

The last time Newcastle lost was to... Liverpool Smiley I remember this was the debut of yesterday's scorer winner!

Barca did their part in El Classico, now it is up to Real to score theirs
Real played with my nerves to the maximum but good old Benzama came to the rescue in last seconds of the game. Will do good for my betting bank and help me forget pool results Smiley Pedri was clinical today and Barca looks like they finally clicked properly.

Now it is time to reinvest that money into Australian Open and see if I will be happy or sad in the morning.

You have no idea how relieved I felt. I should have slept, and I tried to, no way I was going to go out at 4am to find a match but I kept my notification on and it was weird... to see us go 3-0 up and then the score stayed that way until dear old Benzema helped us both.

As I mentioned above, I totally ignored ML and of course this was the one time it would have won me big. But BTTS was not bad too. All in all a good weekend because I made back everything I lost on just 2 games.

Seems like should check my email much more often! A few days ago I got a bonus deposit offer. It was 200% bonus, and usually I don't care about those but I would have liked to check the terms. The link in the email just redirects back to the normal website so don't know what it would have been. Did anyone ever get something like that?

Another thing? Also missed the BJ promo on the weekend... $5 for every 5 BJs. Any BJ lovers took this?

11 billion has to be compared to the average unit size held by people.   Yea large number but I dont consider a million beyond reason or reach for quite a few users and I bet quite a few are with 10x or 100x the basic tiers.   Take the top tier for premium and divide the total by that and its not a great deal if we weigh it vs the regular player and user base on the website.
Obviously a ton of people are completely casual and wont buy this token, I myself for years used FBC purely off a browser cookie with BTC growing this much with retrospect it was a slight regret Tongue

11bn is 22k top tier holds or 440k 1st tier  holds, contrast some medium of those two to weigh supply and demand imo.   I did not consider the monthly price bet as good value this time and since market is more volatile, even less so now

Let's assume, like most altcoins, that the huge majority of supply is owned by a huge minority. To be optimistic, I'd say 10 billion belongs to 10% (and I'm not even going to consider the owner who probably has most of that majority).

That leaves about 1 billion to be divided among semi-whales (orcas?).

But all your other points completely valid, but long term we might account for new users seeing the long-term FUN value. And a wider distribution eventually, like any coin.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 03:10:56 PM
Barca and Real are both great teams to play both to score, due to the way they are attacking they will often concede goals and odds are always good.

For once I agree with you and am not taking Barca ML or to qualify today. In fact, I might go for a Betbuilder option plus cards on BTTS but only provided Arsenal don't win (if they do then I take safer BTTS only). It's a dumb move as I'll go way beyond my allowed loss if I end up with nothing but they say if you don't go big you don't get to win lol

not sure about El Classico, but since it is 50:50 chances for me, and Barca is favored by bookies, my call will be Real, better value

After losing on both teams in regular time semis, I'm skipping MLs. Expecting another 1-1 or 2-2 penalty call.

~snip

Manchester City almost 2x, that's the best bet of the day isn't it?

not so sure about it, I am going with United today, it is unpopular opinion, but United should be good to take at least point today

but, most important match for me today is Everton vs Southampton, we need a win over relegation rival to leave last three position, but that will be hard as hell - good news that Iwobi could be available today

Good that you did. I lost a lot of money, and I was supposed to just stay put because of it today but I decided to pour in all my Livecasino campaign satoshi sofar into SB and try win it back today with Arsenal (which is looking great at 2.3x).

If that loses, then I decide what to do, wanted Chelsea or Newcastle but I don't really know if they were good choices.

Sorry about Everton.

I wouldn't say that it's in Đoković's pocket. I do feel he is a favorite, but this is the first GS in a long long time where I see a possibility of someone outside of the top 10 claiming it.

Nadal is injured, Đoković isn't on the same level and he is starting to get under pressure more often, Alcaraz is out, Medvedev is.. well, Medvedev.
Sinner and Kyrgios are the players I'll try to bet on.

I guess we all fell for Nadal simply because of the promo, if that's the case then well done to Sportsbet lol

On the other hand, I agree that there is no clear contender, Djokovic appears an easy win but I feel like there is more to come, drama and what not, mostly I guess his own making, and we will see someone outside the top winning.

I just hope I get 3 freebets at least Wink

Agree here, and maybe the opposite with Real, bet against them in normal competition and on them in big games?

Hm... Why?   Smiley Real Madrid have won 12 out of 16 games in La Liga and 4 out of 6 in the Champions League - in any case, it is beneficial to choose Real as the winner. If we are talking about betting on money, then of course, from time to time there are situations when it is more profitable to bet against Real Madrid, but in this format of the competition there are simply no options other than betting on Real Madrid.

Because of reasons Trofo outlined above, that out of the 12/16 La Liga games they won and 4/6 Champions League games, the odds are probably below 1.5 or around there. But the games they lost the opponent odds are usually quite high, right?

I personally bet on Barca on low odds (below 1.5x) on games I am certain, usually to just boost other odds on multibets.

But I already mentioned, saving them for the Lambo AFTER next. So this will be for 2nd FUN lock expiry end of the year hehe 2000 spins at once should be so much fun. Who knows I keep it for another year and wait for ATH.

2000 spins? That is a lot of them and I think using them just one or two days before the Lambo draw can exponentially increase your chances to win the weekly lottery as for the Lambo it takes a huge amount of luck, much more than for the weekly lottery, and beside that from locking a big amount of FUN tokens you are only winning during the long term. You can sell your earned FUN tokens to keep that amount to earn interest in Bitcoin but I know you gamble a lot  Grin so this most probably is not an option for you.

I calculated and it only gives me average of less than 35000 lottery tickets (if 1/3 of WoF spins give me lottery tickets) and that's actually even far less than I used to get per draw when wagering (100,000++ each time I wagered) and I still won nothing, so nothing hopeful for me there, but like I said if I choose a high RP week to wager then maybe that's a nice boost Smiley

And lol yeah I don't really see the interest as something to hold on to. I just wagered all of it yesterday on a football match today!!
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2023, 10:21:38 AM
After so many consecutive bad results I finally managed to start the week with a correct score but I believe also many other people did the same for the yesterday game and went for an Aston Villa win 2-1 which was the main tip in every single page I searched for betting tips.I also won my bet as I did bet on both teams to score at 1.70,that come in really late into the game in 83th minute but that is the beauty of this kind of bet,you can win it anytime in the game so you are always waiting to see it happen, that is why I love this kind of bet lately.

2-1 is the main tip for probably 50% of games where there is a slim favorite and yet not quite a big distance between capability, which was what last night's game is all about.

Anyway, today I decided to switch my money from La Liga to Premier League, and if I win big today then I put it on my team to win Supercopa final.

Manchester City almost 2x, that's the best bet of the day isn't it?
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 14, 2023, 09:03:14 AM
I finally pulled the trigger on Nadal because the odds went up as high as I wanted it to go, and in fact even higher. Wanted to post it yesterday but forgot. It seems I should have waited even longer however as today it became 15x and 16+x with boost on Sportsbet.

For some reason Novak is now very far ahead of everyone 1.67. Daniil is 6.7 the next closets and then it's Stefanos over 13x. I don't know anything about the reason but just a few days ago Nadal was number 3rd with 7.5x. What is going on Smiley

2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 11:18:47 AM
Damn Barca. Lost big money as qualification odds was less than 1.2x when I checked so I decided to go for regular ML. Lewandowski could have won it for me but urgh.

And worst, I put in x2 at HT which was almost 2x but I made it part of multibet which lost with guess who? Chelsea!!

In games with outsiders, I think it's more profitable to always predict Barcelona to win - even if they reduce the percentage of points scored, in any case, the percentage of wins will be higher than the percentage of losses and draws. In the big games I will bet against Barcelona - according to the statistics this season they have 4 losses, 1 draw (with Inter which equaled in result to defeat) and one sluggish win against Atlético. It is obvious that in big games it is more profitable to predict the failure of Barcelona.

Agree here, and maybe the opposite with Real, bet against them in normal competition and on them in big games?
