2261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 11, 2014, 06:23:28 AM
Big companies accepting bitcoins hardly did wonder things for the price recently, isn't it?

It adds to bitcoin's legacy for sure but we need stuff to make people buy coins not to sell it.

I think people might be more likely to buy for Xbox or for PlayStation (if Sony jumps in) and I'm a bear by nature. Paypal and other businesses, by contrast, were just places where you could dump your coins for a discount. These, I actually think, might motivate new buys. I could be wrong. It's much better that it is attached to a single, popular product though, in my opinion.

Why would it motivate new buys if they already can buy with other payment options. It can just motivate people who already hold bitcoins to use them to buy Microsoft stuff. It's no different than any other company accepting it so far.

We need Paypal to add "buy bitcoin" option, that would send us to moon, this kind of stuff where you can spend your bitcoins only is proved to not do anything good for the price, except to be reason for short term pump.

Yep, that's why he did not bid at auction, he wants to buy it at 1000 each Tongue

Stop being so surprised. This has been happening month after month after month.

To the traders: just 50 cents more to go and we're back at 15. Well done you fucking idiots. You killed yet another rally and a chance for silver to finally take off again after years.
You must be fucking proud! Such an achievement!

lol, legend  Grin

I will at 2-3k. But not all of course.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday sales predictions? on: November 27, 2014, 09:47:52 PM
What day is the auction on next week? I think that might have a greater effect on the price than bitcoin black Friday.

last auction the price shot up, im expecting the same, the coins should go nicely above market value since the price has dropped since tim draper bought the first lot.

I heard Tim Draper says he will be bidding, but he might not be keen to pay above market value this time because he lost millions on the last auction. What if his previous auction experience puts off the other bidders from putting in high bids? There is a possibility the coins might go significantly below market.

I know everyone was worried about low bids winning last time and it didn't work out like that. It still doesn't stop me worrying about low bids winning this time.

Apparently all big parties who had bid last time will do it this time too.

Everything on the charts could indicate a huge bullish breakout and all you need is one whale to drop in and sell 10,000 coins and knock the price back down.

There was a trader who had some massive leveraged trade on worth millions recently. The price shot up against all the odds when he started the trade. Unfortunately it went wrong and crashed the price afterwards even though TA experts expected it to go up. The trader lost millions of dollars. All it took was one whale to change everything.

That was on Huobi, he went long for 40 million CNY at very top and got margin called.
2272  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I'm an idiot who just got scammed for 5 BTC :D on: November 22, 2014, 03:22:45 AM
I am used to win big and lose big with btc so 5 btc is by no mean the worst loss I had, though yeah, I had better times and it was not great one to be scammed in.

I hope the fucker will spent them on healing his baldness.
2273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why would Satoshi not be dumping? on: November 21, 2014, 05:54:53 PM
If he is individual, he probably mined much more coins then those million we know and is very rich anyway.

Why did not you used Escrow or asked him to send first.

I did sent to escrow but fake one too, lol.

That's why I said I am an idiot  Tongue

2279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: segveg scammer on: November 19, 2014, 06:04:19 PM
Someone is impersonating segvec and scammed me for 5 BTC few hours ago. Most probably nothing to do with him, I offered segvec to sell him some coins on his thread and guy contacted me but with "seqvec" username. When I realized that my 5 BTC had already gone to wind.
