1581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 08, 2020, 10:37:04 PM
1. You shouldn't spend much money because it will harm the family. (Limit your funds)
The money management is important to limit the possible harm, there is no limitless bankroll to test every new strategy with real funds. Better to test the strategy in demo first.
2. You must have good self-control, it is one of the keys to be successful in gambling.\
Emotional control is the part of mastering yourself and ego death is the peak point to reach.
3. You mustn't get loans, you will be trapped in debt at the end.
The worst part of the Gambler's Fallacy, the interest plus the main debt grows each day. The family help and therapies are necessary for healing yourself.
4. After you can win in a gambling game, you are better to stop (break for a while). Don't be greedy to push your luck!
5. Don't expect much to win in gambling, most of them are luck-based. Think rationally!
I advise taking a break after the every dip and thinking about the made mistakes in the game session. Exploring the game session with calm mind will help to control yourself and limit your loss.

Well said, if there is no risk management gambling for fun can leave unhealthy traces behind the daily lifestyle. The stress and the eyestrain which can cause a headache if the gambler spends the hours in front of the monitor, all the negativity will explode one day. Risking money for fun can be addictive and everyone is supposed to take control on their hands if the consequences are heartbreaking. Having a proper money management plan is good in such cases, no matter what.
It is really a bad thing if there is no risk management especially for those gamblers. The gamblers who often to lose are the ones who just betting, rolling and playing without considering the risks, their psychology and also they do not have enough plan how they will exit when they play. It became a bad habit and that is why they continue to lose money. Controlling our emotions can help us to do better decisions.
Without planning the possible loss and adjusting your balance according to the plan will have several bad consequences, that is the reason why professional punters always recommend having a red line on your mind during the gameplay. If the gambler leaves the casino with less funds compared to the previous days, this is a strong signal to take a break. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same responsibility in hard situations.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens do you like to stake/hold for profits? on: April 08, 2020, 09:46:12 PM
Ethereum is the highest "Return Of Investment" reached alternative cryptocurrency, According to coinmarketcap the current ROI of Ethereum is around 5975%, which is the 3rd most popular and used cryptocurrency, so there is no doubt that ETH is the most potential crypto for holding a long time. After ETH my 2nd choice is Ripple and LTC cause both of these coins have a good previous market history and both coins have a good market capitalizations, pumping can be happened at any moment.
XTZ is popular too among the profitable staking altcoins. I don't doubt the interest in the ETH and ERC20 altcoins because of the popularity. History repeats so ETH will hit the ATH in the next few years. As the popular cryptocurrency, it is not surprising to see ETH in list of preferred altcoins for holding a long time. Investors analyze market history and choose the best altcoins in terms of ROI.

Yes there are good things like entertainment for yourself or easing the stress inside you thats why you do look for something which would make you enjoy
but of course losing money is part and this isnt fun and its a stressing thing instead.
Become stress is likely to happen for a person expecting too much for winning. While for a person just enjoy gambling for entertainment, I believe he can minimize the stress once losing because he has no serious goal to win. One thing to remind that you must limit the amount of money to gamble. If you only spend a little money, you easily forget it. But if you spend a lot of money, you may have difficulties to admit it.

Spend what you can afford to lose, and it's also right to use the word risk money rather than spend money as we are not going to an entertainment show here like in a movie house where we have to pay to entertain ourselves, here in gambling, we only risk money and there is a chance that we can win and that will give us the real entertainment, though sometimes we lose but we just have to accept it and be a man, always stick to the limit which is the amount that we can afford to lose.

1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will only the best survive? on: April 07, 2020, 11:45:54 PM
Natural selection rules can be applied in the crypto market and it is not surprising that many projects have been eliminated after the settled time in bear markets. The interest by investors goes down and convincing the investors is not easy after they sell their portfolio. The sell limit orders are ready for the bull market, so time is the only barrier for reaching their goals, from my own experience.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto currency ready for next season??? on: April 07, 2020, 11:33:23 PM
The present market conditions in the global economy have affected the crypto industry too and there is no reason to take care of one part in worldwide economy. The next bull market is not predictable, instead of making false guesses I prefer to be prepared in that time. As usual promising altcoins will take the bigger piece of cake and other projects will work hard for reaching the level of competitors.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: April 07, 2020, 11:19:44 PM
Well I think it will be a miracle if that happen in January 1st of 2021.Currently we are fighting against the enemy which is invisible & we don't even know how long this fight will go.Bitcoin price defenetely gonna fly but within this amount of time it's quite impossible. It will take while to recover then possibly we could see that big pump.
I also don't believe that Bitcoin can grow so much in such little time. It takes at least two to three years for Bitcoin to reach $100k, and that's under the best conditions in crypto.
The same words have been said by the professional investors during the 2017 bull market, maybe this time it will be different than previous versions of Bullrun. The governmental support and lifting crypto trading ban can accelerate the whole process and hitting $100k will be possible after the clearing FUD. $100k will be the liquidation price for major pairs and the price of altcoins will show different cycles if it ever happens.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: April 07, 2020, 11:08:23 PM
Eth went as low as to 97$ before jumping up and touching its current price of 172$. Another crypto wild swing in less than a month. We can never predict with certainty that what will be the minimum dip, its a price we have to decide ourselves and vice verse. Those who bought eth around 100$ must be enjoying the lockdown.
Agree, there is no exact value about what the lowest price is but at least when we know what the lowest value is likely to be touched on, then maybe it will be good for us to buy more because even recovery can happen in only a short time. With events like that it is clear, price movements will not be easy to predict even though you have tried to make and do a lot of analysis.
There is always one more dip point of price. Always. Recovery chance is low in the bear market, for reaching the ATH prices total marketcap should be bigger than previous ones. It is not rocket science, everyone can make an analysis but the logic has been beaten by emotions in the volatile crypto market. Emotional traders will not think logically and rational thinking will give its place to the panic/greed.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some basic advice for a newbie please...? on: April 07, 2020, 09:12:58 PM
It is ok if you can't find up to date information nowadays. Hope you already have created your own wallet before deciding to buy the BTC or altcoins. Made a small research and find these exchanges/services for buying the BTC with $CAD:

  • Coinsquare
  • Binance
  • Bitbuy
  • Coinbase
  • Coinmama
  • Localbitcoins
  • Kraken
  • Bitstamp
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis on: April 07, 2020, 08:40:02 PM
I do not think crypto will be widely used as an investment during this crisis, but it can be more used as a  payment method. Anonymous cryptocurrencies are also likely to grow in popularity.

I doubt the second offer will be considered by high authorities due to the lack of full development by the project CEOs. The anonymous altcoins have gained popularity but this popularity is not the reason to use such version of high anonymity in our daily life.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: NEW_company CETAN - banking, debit card on: April 06, 2020, 11:52:58 PM
Move your thread to the Announcements board of the forum. The announcement thread is the better place for explaining the business idea of your project and promoting the service quality will be easier. Banking projects never become successful, from my previous investing experience. Anyway, let the good projects become the favour of investors!
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: April 05, 2020, 11:57:25 PM

Not only you many others like you who have bought at this price. And they too are waiting when their purchased prices will cross. Honestly no one knows when this price will go. In fact, no one knows whether the price will ever go up. And even if $5 goes you must wait a long time. $5 not a small target for ripple.
From my own perspective, waiting for a long time is never the right solution because the problem the OP had was not having knowledge to select the right cryptocurrency because coin that are centralized are never the right asset to choose in every market momentum and i will advise the OP to sell the XRP into BTC and accumulated more BTC when the price is still downtrend.
Who says this is not the right investment decision? Moneygram and Ripple partnerships show the clear intention of global money transfers through the XRP blockchain. The growing network will lead to higher prices and early investors will be a happy post-bear market. If the OP has bought XRP at $2, waiting for the next market cycle will be the efficient solution for the obvious situation.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sinovate is the next 50-100x altcoin? on: April 05, 2020, 11:09:29 PM
My prediction is that Sinovate price will be 10x at the end of june and july. if it catches 10x and the wind on it s back then it may go up to 50x in the following months.
Come back and re-check my post at that time  Grin

One more Hyped post. It is not about the Sinovate or another specific project, if the general market is in the recession, downtrend. When the crypto markets show the signs of recovery, I also have plans to invest in promising altcoins. SNTVT is an average plus project and the devs should work smart during the quarantine for improving the quality.

1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Exchanging altcoins for Gift card on: March 18, 2020, 11:45:55 PM
Can someone please suggest a good marketplace for swapping the altcoins and purchase gift cards? I mainly look for Amazon, eBay, Target gift cards. Only Bitify and Bitrefill have this option but the rates are lower than average market prices. Coinsbee.com and coincards.com also have the altcoins section for buying gift cards but there is no review site to check the quality of service. If someone has a suggestion, don't hesitate to share your experience.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Insider trading groups in crypto on: March 18, 2020, 11:10:46 PM
I have seen many fake and legit insider new websites on DeepWeb but have never interested to join due to legal reasons. First, everyone is aware of such groups and from an ethical perspective, joining these groups will not add anything for the average trader. Big boys use the special algorithms for finding the weakness and they make their own "bias" in the market with different speculative-manipulative moves. For example, you can easily find a stock share insider group but joining them requires to be an average whale. Paying for subscription or bribe doesn't give you a chance to exploring the latest updates/news. Only having access to early reports and sharing it will make raise your account to the full level. Do you think there are such types of crypto insider trading groups in the dark side of the internet?

I sent an email to Mixtum's official mail address but the mail has been returned to the sender. The mail address of Mixtum doesn't work and it is a bit suspicious why the scam attempt was first done with the original URL of Mixtum. Maybe the attacker has gained access to the site and later decided to change the inserted link to a phishing site for registering new users. I contacted the site owner and asked the same questions there.
