The worst side of falling BTC price is to watch the bloodbath on the altcoins, slowly dying altcoins don't look like the market will recover sooner than 1 year. The dumped price bars lay on the bottom of the charts, decreasing demand by the altcoin traders is another stroke. The dominance should go down in order to see healthy growth in the altcoin markets.

etehereum will of course be the most valuable altcoin among others and will certainly still rank second after bitcoin. but there will be fierce competition which will rank third, and it is uncertain which type of altcoin can occupy that position after ethereum, because there are still many potential coins that will become valuable in the future
If I am not making a mistake, the XRP has occupied the second place when the price of Ethreum was around $75. The potential of ETH will be investable after the fully completed version of ETH 2.0 but the altcoins will not climb the ATH price even if the ETH reaches the ATH in the next 2 years. Hi guys i read on the news that major few exchanges are delisting some altcoins that falls to keep up due to present bear market, for example poloniex exchange is delisting Omni and primecoin and others, what do you have to share about this?
Some are saying its good to invest in old coins now few old coins are dying, I believe they've met the end of their roadmap, no more excitement about them, this is why i still feels that newer coins will take the bigger advantage of future greenish market, what do you think?
That's the reality that every investor must face, waking up that he has no exchange for his coins, because of low volume, considering that they paid a big amount just for the exchange to list their coin, only exchanges made a huge profit here, no wonder some exchanges are inflating their volume to make them attractive to new projects for listing. Delisted altcoins have no demand by the day traders and exchanges have to make money too. The trading fees contain the major part of exchange profit and idle altcoins have no advantage for the precise exchange. The reality is scammer give money to the exchanges for listing their token without asking questions and later they team dumps his own allocation with the bids of new traders. Later the team goes away and traders can't trade the dead altcoins which will be delisted by the exchange soon. |

I wonder what specifically the person gamble on? The article did not mention it unfortunately. I guess he gambled on stock hoping to make quick profits and return back what he took. Both Op post and the article sound like he took the huge sums of money and spent it in a casino or something. Taking any kind of risk could be described as gambling, I guess.
It hurts when we read this type of things as that person would be now busted and would not have anything left or would have lost huge amount of money. He forgot the basic rules itself that never bet or borrow money from others for such stuff and he did exactly the same thing. Also going big on such things can lead to heavy losses unless you can afford such loss never do such kind of things. So not all the time we call it addictions but people must have control over emotions and they should have control that when they want to stop so they can it is much better to make limit for gambling money and get not to exceed it. Addictions is in your hands if you don’t want to be get addicted just play one or two hours a day. Without emotions, the game and spent time don't become enjoyable, from my experience. People should walk to the casino with the idea of having fun, thinking strategies on the mind and applying money management will take the energy which can be used for spending a good time. Frankly speaking, these bounties of Altcoins are not bringing them any investments. There used to be a time where positive publicity would bring loads of money into the project and community would settle gradually. It's not like that now, so don't expect that you'll get as much as they promise.

But we know Bitcoin ever hit $ 19,000 which is high value for 'crypto' But, Bitcoin is very different with Ripple. those can't be same what I would say, crypto is very volatile, much money can flow here Hitting $1 is 5x ROI, it is impossible unless the shock news related to the XRP partnership flood in the media. The BTC investment and investing in the altcoins are not the same in both value/ROI, the differences can be analyzed by looking at the historical market performance for the mentioned coins. The high value doesn't reflect in the market instantly, it takes time. That is the reason long term investors look at the market value before calculating the price, profit, risks. |

Actually with limited participants is the middle ground of the existence of the project bounty so that it does not become a high cost. but it must be limited by the rules of the participants must be qualified so that the information brought by the participant will be able to reach most people, especially investors. compared to many participants but the quality of the participants is not good only makes the costs prepared quite large. will have an impact with many bounty project scam . Limited participant rule is necessary in order to avoid the spam, the experienced bounty manager knows the power of quality over quantity. The scam projects don't care about the quality, they need quick results due to the limited timeframe for their fake token sale. That's good, it's only a matter of how we understand the market conditions and tempo in investing, if you have found the pattern. Maintain and it will be better if it is improved again, not because it is not satisfied. But to avoid saturation when you use the same pattern in investment Avoiding saturation will increase the balance maintenance but it can cause the missing trades. Greedy traders want to grab all available pips/points from the market during the volatility but the smarter traders take whatever market gives them. The solid portfolio will not require to check the daily market prices, market will take care of the potential altcoins, from my experience. |

The title should be ETH's return to sub $100 after hardfork.  Seriously though, fundamentals doesn't matter here now. The markets are not done being scared. The consistent price declines across the crypto board put doubts into investor's minds. And this is by far the greatest problem with using fundamentals, fundamentals can tell you what an asset could do in the future by looking at its overall state, it is obvious that ethereum is a good coin and that many of the upgrades that are taking place are going to be great for the long term prospects of ethereum, but that doesn't tell us anything about what it is going to happen in the short term, and right now the market is not moving upwards and regardless of how good we could think ethereum really is that fact is not going to change. General observations should be taken into consideration before investing but we discuss the second biggest market cap crypto here. The potential of ETH will definitely increase after the upgrade but speculators want to take advantage of the fundamental news before it becomes live. Tracking the long term price movements will add value to the portfolio, short term trading is very risky in the volatile crypto markets. |

Experience is the best learning. I don't think you couldn't even learned about your bad experience in which you will able to know what is the best and what is the worst on your possible moves in making trading process. I also experience a very huge losses in trading but it will able me to learn and mold me as a trader that will able to have a good return even just a little profit. Learning mechanics is very simple:try and fail until you found your perfect trading strategy. Some traders don't want to learn from the other failed trader's life experience, they later regret this in last stages. If the losses are more than winning trades but the account profit curve tends go up, I count this as professional trading. |

Yes because altcoins season on 2017 are just only hype by ICO campaign and now as you said only legit and trusted project will grow, and also reputable altcoins like erhereum, litecoin, xlm will increase price when bitcoin bull run start. The HYPE was the first round in order to boost the overall market atmosphere but the recent market conditions don't impress the certain group of investors. You are right and there is big possibility that most of the scammers are also a crypto investors and users who already know the good strategies and the flow of every transactions here in crypto. I believe that they are not idiot because they have so many victims and they can build a realistic scam project.
The scammers use the well-known platforms for hiding behind the real projects, this affects badly to the investor's confidence. Victims have ignored the necessary steps before investing and they fall to the trap of scammers. Just my 2 cents. |

I think the only way to track them is thru their SEC number, I dont know if most of the countries have this number for each business. In this way you may check it in their local registry and ask if the project you want to join is real. But it could be a hassle thing, those people behind it can be track too. It was possible in the old days but now the scammers use very clever methods for cleaning the traces of fake companies. The virtual office suppliers don't share the information of the vendor with third parties and unless you have inside information, it is not possible to prove something. The advantages of online business opportunities are used in the wrong way by scam projects. |
