1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 21, 2020, 09:27:02 PM
How are sports bets fundamentally different from casino bets? Martingale is bad both here and there. In sports quite often there are win-win or series without wins, even for teams from which it was difficult to expect. And there is an additional unpleasant moment: there is always a break between sporting events, so the money that you invested in the Martingale strategy leaves you for long periods of time.
Because it's easier to make terrible calls on sportsbetting if you don't know what you're doing oppose to a defined probability of winning. If you're playing roulette, betting on red each time has a predictable outcome and you can calculate the chance of losing n times in a row. You can do the same thing with sports betting, but again, sports betting can also involve terrible calls because it isn't inherently about pure luck. Most of the times it is, but again, the point is about maintaining well defined odds and a game like roulette gives that to you easier than sports betting.

Terrible events also happen in roulette (in terms of surprise) - for example, red drops 30 times in a row. Fundamentally, this does not change anything - at a distance such events dissolve into more "logical" results. The same thing happens in betting - the more bets the less the influence of some "unusual" events on the overall result.
The loss sequence can go forever while the possibility of this event is under 0.0000001%. An unlimited bankroll is needed for covering the next bet after each loss, the dusted balance is inevitable, in this case. Btw, there is a table limit and VIP French roulette has the $50000 bet limit, IIRC.

Good luck!
Btw, nice try Smiley

You need to find a fool who will give away their personal address details for nothing. There is no reason to share the personal BTC wallet with random people if there is nothing beneficial.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms. on: April 17, 2020, 12:19:15 PM
I think this is the right time to Lock the thread OP since you have already Listed the legit gambling sites from this forum and out.
just Edit the thread when you found another site,or at least Bump the thread because if people really interested about the sites you have listed then they can just easily Bookmark this thread to use as reference as what i have done already.
again Thanks for the List.
I think also that Op need to lock this thread but if he gets another more opinion and suggestion about his thread they still need to open this thread. But I like also to stil open and people make their comments about what is good and bad gambling sites so we can seperate or we can avoid it because every gambler have different experienced on where they play.
Maybe it is still interesting for new gamblers to compare the gambling platforms and see the differences. For inexperienced gamblers, reading the feedback of other gamblers and drawing the image of reputation is win-win situation for both parties. Everyone has different experiences, suggestions but sharing this information can help other gamblers.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 17, 2020, 12:04:15 PM
It is always a right time for the gambling addicts to overcome their addiction, the only problem is they cannot change their thoughts and their inner core. Even though they want to change their lifestyle and to overcome their addiction, it is still not enough if they will not change their inner core.

The changing of inner core is important because it is who we are and what are we thinking, if we think differently where we want to have change then we can do it. Overcoming addiction is not simple as we think, many people spend months or even years in order for them to fully overcome their addiction in gambling.
There are reasons behind the gambling addiction, overcoming this addiction depend on the gambler's mindset and psychology. Ignoring the gambling suddenly doesn't help always, small bets or demo accounts will come to help for beating the emotionally drained mind.
1545  Economy / Services / Re: [The BItcoin Mixer] Scam or mix delayed? on: April 17, 2020, 11:33:22 AM
Maybe there are minimum limits for the single address or you have used multiple output addresses which increase the service fee? Btw, are you sure, the incoming transaction was confirmed on the network? If you have the Letter of Guarantee, then it wouldn't be hard to prove the order. How long did you contact them with email? They don't have ANN thread on the forum but this is another contact information besides mail: BM-2cVY2Cf95gYutb8J8uVsg1GJWxPwwv5YpN of mixer with Bitmessage.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 17, 2020, 10:58:02 AM
To me, betting double after losing is a sign of desperation from the losers aspect.
And this is an attitude very conversant with a near addict of gambling.

We need to always maintain our calmness, either in profits or in loss.

That could be in most cases as when you double and you still lose again, you might think of doubling again until you will wipe out your entire bankroll and that is very frustrating. but for some, they know how to use this strategy so they are successful, but still not advisable for newbie as mostly their emotion is what they use instead of making a strategy to make it work.

Are there really people who are successful or consistently profitable with the strategy? I have probably seen few members who said they are successful with it... whether it's true or not I don't know. I guess it's a few time successes rather than being successful consistently?

Even though some of your members say that the method is successful, but it cannot provide guarantees for other members, it means that it is only luck that he can succeed in that way, because I often try other people's methods, but the results will not always be the same.

Meaning it's hard to be consistently successful (guarantee?) with the strategy or it's probably not possible to be consistently successful with it at all?
Well, I suspect the "random success" too but  randomness could be a bit lower with the strategy compared to normal bettings...but it's probably riskier.

The randomness is both killer and leverage for win/loss at the same time. The 8 times black number on the roulette table doesn't increase the chance of red number, no matter how many times the gambler has repeated the same bet over and over. Random success is temporary but having a pro gambler mindset is different.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 17, 2020, 10:27:59 AM
Trading is less risk we know that and gambling or most risky in crypto ways of earnings. I don't see that they are same but also we can also spend more money once we do any mistake. Day trading is where you can earn in short a time but also in the longterm you can get a big profit in gambling only shorterm for you to know the outcome.

Any activity can be profitable in the long run if you clearly know what you are doing.
Unfortunately in the casino, if you know the system by which you can win, you will be calculated and added to the black list. However, if you are careful enough you can earn quite a bit of money.
The blacklist is possible and the casinos share the same data with each other for preventing the access of cheaters/scammers. Regarding the long-run profitability, only having an edge can make it possible. Otherwise, the house edge will kill the odds of winning, the edge is first priority, IMO.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: April 17, 2020, 09:43:42 AM
My biggest winning was around $3000 but few days later I have lost half of this amount due to the greediness. It was fun to not care about the rest of the funds after every bet but the lack of money management cost me $1500. So far, I am in the negative side of the ruler due to the quantity of lost amount over the winnings.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to keep life savings more secured on: April 17, 2020, 09:17:31 AM
Coinomi wallet is not that bad like many are saying, I still use the wallet even after thinking of going for other wallets after reading about many flaws and hacks, but the fact is I never seen a bad review or hack news about it's mobile wallet, the only one I heard bad reviews about is desktop wallet
It is more vulnerable to store the life savings in desktop or in online wallets, mobile wallets are not secure too. The used metadata is enough for brute-force and the thieves can found the password of the main wallet.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 16, 2020, 11:51:16 PM
Coingecko has additional features and I personally prefer to open the Coingecko for checking the daily volume of any altcoin. CMC has lost the reputation after the fake volume scandal on crypto exchanges and they agreed about this. Indexing of Coingecko is better compared to alternatives, the marketcap of fake volume for some coins is bigger on abnormal exchanges.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 16, 2020, 11:12:41 PM
Offline casino entrepreneurs surely confused about this...
Paying employee salaries is a worker's obligation according to the wage and labor agreement but the current conditions are different. Workers do not work, as usual, not paying a full salary is the best solution imo.
$1200 amount is not enough for everyone but it is normal for daily food and needs. Maybe governments will restrict the companies to fire the employees due to the recent lockdown but the support should be kept for covering the needs of people. For keeping the minimum impact of the global recession, the workers should look for passive income, unfortunately.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 16, 2020, 10:26:42 PM
You can bet double after you lose, or you can bet the same but on double odd! Why to force martingale when it's
not working, anyone can see that in many comments here. If it's not working on odd you wish to win, bet on higher
odds and you can win your money back.
I do that in sports betting. After few loses on the same team I bet on them but I find some higher odds, maybe more
goals, or double win, there is some higher odd, but I don't risk more money, it's not in my interest!
For making it simple, you just increase the odd instead of the bet amount. The winning probability of the high odd is very low, especially in sports betting, in this case the gambler digs a deep grave without the backdoor. It is not the same for martingale strategy applied money management, the chance will stay the same and the end balance will cover the loss after the first winning bet.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 16, 2020, 09:50:29 PM
In my opinion crypto gambling can even increase the likelihood of taking other drugs, because if you are aone in a room there is nobody watching you. As a consequence it is easier to take some drugs. The constraint because of shaming is much lower.
I don't think so, unless you are already a drug addict. Most of the reasons why a person is unto drugs is because of the influence of the people surrounding him, now if you are surrounded with good people, there's a less chance you'll be on drugs or addicted to it.
Drug addiction is a high level of psychedelic experience but there are many differences. Ego death is the case for psychedelic enthusiasts and passing this level can lead to a lack of any kind of addiction in the brain due to the psychological and chemical changes. You can search for real people who cleaned his mind with this kind of psychedelic experience.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 16, 2020, 09:17:24 PM
By the way - one of the tips for successful trading on the exchange - never trade drunk! I think the same advice can be given to players! If you want to keep control over the game, keep your mind clear! Grin
Exactly, the drunk gambler can bet all money in the pocket without thinking about the consequences. TBH, I have seen the lucky drunk people in real casinos and some of them made a triple winning bet with going all in. I always like to gamble conservatively for protecting the initial balance on the game series.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: April 15, 2020, 11:16:17 PM
For this year I think it's impossible for ETH to reach $5000, you know because now all economies are struggling and slowing down because of a pandemic. if ETH can reach $500 it is more than enough for me.
$500 is impossible if the global lockdown continues for a long time, there will be no alternative choices for investors except selling the cheap ETH under $200. Maybe after Q3, the market situation will turn to positive, who knows?
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 15, 2020, 09:25:52 PM
The first thing which I can say the root of any project is its product. How much demanding it is in the market? Ten if the project has raised enough funds, has the development completed or on track? And then on which exchanges the coin is listed? All these matters a lot. Not developed projects which do not have transparency towards its community or projects listing on not so good exchanges showing fake volumes and trades will bring down the price of altcoin eventually.
Demanding working products is the first reason why projects don't publish their all features before ICO/IEO. If they publish everything, the interest will decrease, many teams prefer to distribute the positive news over the few weeks in order to keep the interest which can add more demand to the pool.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinall exit scam on: April 15, 2020, 08:45:41 PM
Okex used to own coinall - now when you email okex support they tell you they are not coinall and to contact them direct

Simple way to prove these claims - log into to coinall and see all the wallets which have been banned from withdrawing

Email coinall and they say it’s just maintainace - maintaince for 7 weeks now

If you guys can’t be bothered to check these claims don’t post when you get scammed
Wow, that's really bullshit. All wallets out of maintenance for 7 weeks just like that without a single reason? This is why I have a cynical view toward big exchange 'little project' because they just ride on big name and can easily pull out, wash their hand with lousy excuse 'we don't own that project anymore'.
Really wow. Such big maintenance looks similar to the case of Livecoin maintenance. The Livecoin team has decided to temporarily suspend the wallet of X coin and their forum account has been painted to red by the DT. The similar patterns lead to the same destination, unfortunately.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: April 14, 2020, 11:24:07 PM
~ snip ~
It is also happened in my country but I don't want to be confused about it. Just look at the current data of Covid-19 in your country. If the number of cases doesn't increase as fast as before and the recovery ratio is getting higher, it means the condition is better day after day. However, always satay safe + stay at home until the condition can be recovered 100%.  Wink
Hope the WHO will announce the vaccine for COVID19 and the world will pass the unhealthy days. The market situation goes worse day by day and everyone invests in the top altcoins, I don't invest in the top altcoins for the obvious reason. The low marketcap altcoins are my first preference.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 10:44:53 PM
If there is no such requirement on predetermined rules, adding this rule is clearly cheating. Sometimes, the bounty managers can insure themselves with writing the guaranteed lines(like the decision of the manager is final) on the first lines of bounty thread.
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 10:11:01 PM
At least, look at the good side of the hack news. The frequency of hack news dropped a lot after the last ATH in 2017. The Bisq is not the biggest and probably the team didn't take the security flaws seriously in bug bounties.
