1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 07, 2020, 06:00:19 PM
If we hold tokens that don't have volume then it would be nice if we continue to monitor the development of tokens if it is still feasible for us to hold for the long term or even if we release them and leave the tokens, but if the tokens are very slow in its development, then it would be better if we leave the token because the risk will be very large.
This is true, instead of thinking of the negatives let's make the most out of what is in the plate for us. Most of us here in the bitcoin world have some form of knowledge in the basics of trading and economics but it will be better if we can get more help, study the market, formulate strategies. If the token we are really holding on is hopeless, then we might really need to look for another token to invest on, one that has a better chance at trading.
If you think studying will increase the chance of making more money for the greedy investors, you make a big mistake here. The scammers don't use the lack of knowledge, they use the emotions of the victim. In your opinion, the suggested analogy is not suitable after many years, years taught me a lot of things since 2010.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: January 05, 2020, 05:10:17 PM
Do you have the same opinion about IEO's now also..? I feel you should add it with ICO and STO. There is a new concept which is IMO I think and that also has lots of disadvantages. Bounty hunters are not getting anything these days as most of the projects are not getting any investments.

Sad to say that 2019 was not the year for bounty hunters compare before, but not only bounty hunters as well as the investors as very few ICO/IEO investors got their ROI for the first year, most of them loss so much money, and some of the projects turned out to be scams, so it was a painful year, but for sure we are still looking forward for a great opportunity this year.

I dont think there will be another time which will be as profitable as it was for bounty hunters as well as investors. The golden age of bounties are over and no project does the marketing as it used to be and another issue is getting investment right now is harder than ever.
No need to accuse only the projects, the market conditions dictate profitability. The bounty hunters also understand the risks of the market situation and they have another option: Hold the bounty reward and sell at the right time. The golden decade is not over yet, we will be sure about this argument after the next bull market.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling my 51,000 DGB ( DIGIBYTE ) on: January 05, 2020, 04:12:16 PM
thank you, that was very useful indeed.

if you sold your coin by yourself you will get around 275$ while if you sold it to another member you will lose 30$
If the OP can't prove the source of funds, the hacked coins can be sold in this way. Maybe for avoiding the KYC OP prefers to sell P2P.

There is no way to proof if those 51,000 DGB are hacked or OP really owns them. In both cases it is best to sell them on exchanges.
If he want to sell P2P, he should be looking to find an escrow first because it is very risky to sale here without escrow.

I doubt the OP wants to sell the hacked coins, the small amount shouldn't be even discussed here. There are a lot of mixers and P2P decentralized exchanges accept the DGB for converting to other altcoins. For high amounts, using the escrow will be a good solution.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 04, 2020, 03:46:25 PM
The investment managers usually look at the amount first, for big amounts I prefer to invest in the top and proven altcoin projects. Otherwise, for low amounts buying the small market cap altcoins will be a good idea in both value and price means. Everything depends on the experience, knowledge, money management of investors.

1666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your view on current crypto market? on: January 03, 2020, 06:32:32 PM
I will add more altcoins to the portfolio in case of the arrival of all season. The recent market circumstances are not going to change fast, it requires time to apply the new changes. After the delivered products, new solutions in the real world by the crypto projects, the mass adoption will be the reason for the altcoin season along with the bull market.
1667  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: January 02, 2020, 06:03:18 PM
He won the same sized bet like this last time, I wish it was PR because he won 83btc last time if i remember correctly Cheesy .

AFAİK, the recent terms&conditions refer to 8 BTC limit for potential profit in single bet. You can read more on the forum of Stake.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: January 02, 2020, 05:45:07 PM
I need lists of projects that were thought to be scam and faced many wrong accusations but in the end still, thrive and become successful today, any? I believe not all project that appears to be scam ends up been scam because people suspect them to be
We cannot blame people who accused some projects to be a scam because there are really lots of scammers here already, and a lot of people here already experience it that they are scammed so I think they are just sharing their thoughts, opinion and experience here.
After the  HYPE, token sales failed hardly and there was no exit for affected projects. I double checked my investment list and decided to choose the best ones. The scammers use their ability to steal from pockets of people, investors are supposed to behave smarter than scammers in order to not fall the trap.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A book about success and failure in crypto. on: January 02, 2020, 03:34:52 PM
The problem with these types of books is that the one who writes about success should at least be successful himself in that field.

If you have already launched a successful coin, token or project in your resume then write about it from the perspective of experience and authority it means your book can be taken seriously.

What is your level of involvement in crypto?
I agree with you.. it is impossible for someone who has not been successful in the crypto world to give advice or learn about tips for success in the crypto world.  I strongly support the book you intend because it will definitely help other people who are not familiar with crypto to better know what cryptocurrency is.
You forget to consider the few main factors which can change your opinion. The crypto market is almost 11 years old and for becoming the pro-crypto expert it is not necessary to have 11 years of market experience. The first book in the trading I have read was the Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas and I doubt the Op will be able to write something like that.

We do not know. OP has not presented his resume yet. This member may be a newbie in this forum but he or she may be a long-time crypto observer and adopter. Nobody ignorant enough plans to write an entire book about the stuff he or she mentioned.
That is why the OP should prepare himself/herself before creating the topic, the criticism is expected. He opened this thread and disappeared, only OP has the answers to the discussed topic.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker on: January 01, 2020, 05:44:47 PM
There are no regular updates by the Pillar team after the latest release of the Pillar wallet. I follow the Telegram channel but the general discussions are popular rather than project-related debate.
Michael Messele, co-founder and CEO of pillar, November 13, in his speech spoke about the future plans of the project, a new payment system and data storage

Wasn't the David Siegel CEO of the Pillar project, IIRC?

1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: January 01, 2020, 05:08:30 PM
I have chosen the Z exchange for the mentioned reasons:

The trading fee depends on the monthly turnover, the high turnover accounts will get the trading fee under 0.1%.
The liquidity is high and the market kept active by trading bots.
The withdrawal fees are below the industry standard.
The support team answers my questions in a day max.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: December 31, 2019, 05:50:01 PM
People now have less faith on altcoins because of repeated failures as occasioned by fraudulent behavior of many altcoin team. I am worried about the future of many alt. Few remain strong and keep building.
The faith in altcoins has been definitely shaken and it is obvious why this is the case, we have thousands of coins in the market and of all of those coins only a handful are any good, altcoins are definitely going to comeback but we should not expect the generalized bull market that we saw in 2017, what we are most likely to see is that the top altcoins that we know are good are going to go up in value while the rest of the coins lag behind and eventually disappear.
Generalized bull market expectations destroy the hopes of investors faster than a flashlight. The bull market in previous years has been caused by the HYPE and the lack of this factor I doubt the market will give the same ROI in the next bull market. The altcoins lag behind BTC due to the correlation and dominance of BTC.
1674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: December 30, 2019, 05:39:36 PM
It's a decision that every is entitled to make, you can't blame people for claiming free coins and some are quickly sellable on exchanges, I've seen people who started with no money and earned few dollars from free coins and start growing from there

The bounty rewards have no real market value due to the market circumstances, the deceived bounty hunters look for the people to blame for their bad situation. I don't doubt there are people as you mentioned on your post but not all bounty hunters have this opportunity to grow the balance with trading and continuing boutny hunting.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Sr. members+ to participate in marketing research (80 USDT reward) on: December 30, 2019, 05:24:48 PM
I have also received my reward, thanks Smiley

Hi everyone!

We'll try to check the rest all the answers and send the rewards today. Please send yours if you didn't already.

is there any way for me to join your marketing research?

The last day for applicants was 23 December and the rewards have been distributed after 26 December. I doubt the OP will accept the new participants.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: December 29, 2019, 04:18:26 PM
Everything you guys mentioned are parts of our emotion, you can't avoid being greedy or control your emotions as long as you have your emotion, I mean, we are all human being, we have feelings and once we feel the greed in our body towards something, controlling it would just make you feel crazy, mixing all things up making you hard to decide what is the right thing to do as an approach when you're playing gambling.
Greed is a very strong negative emotion but if we struggle to control it and we involve exercise and activities in our daily lives for the relaxation of mind and soul such as yoga, deep breathing etc. I am pretty sure that we will be able to get control over greed. Even if we don’t get control over it, we will be able to take decisions while analyzing all pros and cons of the situation rather than blindly following it.
Mastering yourself and listening to the inside voice will make the person stronger, wiser in all industries. Except for the profession related tasks, the lack of emotional control will lead to overestimate the situation and accept the decision under the illusion of the current moment. Gamblers should take a therapy from the professionals if they are not successful to control their feelings along with actions.
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Help! on: December 28, 2019, 02:47:44 PM
In such cases, contacting the support will give a chance to you for recovering the lost funds. If you can convince the Coinabse support team members, they will gladly help you, otherwise forget about the wrong address sent BCH. Private keys are necessary for spending the BCH form that addresses.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube vs Crypto on: December 28, 2019, 07:20:02 AM
Youtube accepted the mistake and the crypto community will be able to continue watching the crypto videos and ads. First I thought this issue was related to the mistake by Youtube but later they fixed it. Crypto-related content is used for education new investors and traders,  reporting the scam giveaways will make video platform a better place.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 27, 2019, 04:46:10 PM
The bot is not a good idea but you can do short term trading. It's like scalping. Small invest small gain. If you can make 0.10$ profit from one trade then 20 trade like this in one day will make your 9$ into 90$ in a few months. You should do that if you are really good at trading and well known to the market.
You don't count the lost trades factor in your calculation, the lost amount will be the reason why the drop rate will be higher in the trading statement at the end of month. Some trading bots have the cut loss feature or stop loss order adjustment which is used for liquidating the trade in case of reaching 40% of the balance.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Help! on: December 27, 2019, 03:57:11 PM
If the amount is greater than 0.1 BTC it will worth to contact with the support of Coinbase and explain the situation in detail. It looks like, the private key is necessary for spending the Bitcoin Cash. If you can convince the support guy in Coinbase, taking the private key of the sent address will solve the problem.
