2281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 20, 2016, 02:29:30 PM
Democracy can mean many things to many people. Heck, even some dictatorial regimes prefer to call their system to be democratic while at the same time they are using the state power to suppress people and to spread lies just to create fear.

In my idea, democracy means that the government is coming from the people, for the people and by the people. The power emanates from the voters and that power should be used for the greater good of the people.

However, there are some people who prefer someone to lord over them as long as that ruler can provide them all the basic stuffs they need. They don't care if they don't have the freedom others are enjoying as long they have something to eat everyday.

As for me, I still love democracy and I hate it if someone would be curtailing my Bitcoin freedom lol.

I can see your point. I love democracy too. Despite all the flaws it has, you at least won't be put in jail for using Bitcoin in a democratic country. And I agree that some people sell their freedom for the food and seeming security. It is their choice to make of course but I think it's not worth it.
2282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 20, 2016, 01:45:41 PM
Hey guys,

Whole thing was to prove default settings. As I've mentioned it in the first post, I did not set any additional security settings. This is security by default, which each user gets after registration. You can lower it, if you feel comfortable, or increase. It's up to you. But by default you should be as safe as your email provider.

Regarding security problems with email, your account still can be safe even if your email has been compromised. Just set 2FA. You can also set IP address lock, or withdrawal address lock. We provide as many options as you can possibly use.

Regards,
Alex

But if a hacker had hacked the email and he has the password to the account can't he just reset the withdrawal address and the IP address? Or by 2FA you mean other thing than email? I'm sorry if my question was a stupid one, I'm new to this thing.
2283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: December 20, 2016, 01:02:52 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

Maybe I'm not experienced in gambling that much, but what I know from other gamblers is that no analysis will help you to be winning constantly. Gambling is such a thing that even the most sophisticated strategies fail to deliver you positive result.
2284  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: December 20, 2016, 11:53:35 AM
Dont sell everything, because the bitcoin will be rise in the next year in january 2017
its good choice to hold some bitcoin.

I agree that it's good to hold some coins and I think OP meant to sell everything and buy BTC with the money. I wouldn't do that even though I believe in Bitcoin. You should never risk all your money however sure you might be about the bright future ahead.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: December 20, 2016, 11:38:13 AM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?

Gambling has never been a source of income for most people. There are exceptions of course but they are so rare that it would be fair to exclude gambling from the ways you can go in order to earn more coins. Trading is something different but still if you have no skills you will lose your money with trading too. That doesn't mean that if you have skills you will definitely earn money with trading. I haven't managed to earn with trading for example even though I tried to learn things first.
2286  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: December 19, 2016, 01:03:08 PM
I don't understand how cashless society could kill the Bitcoin. This has no sense because Bitcoin represents cashless society, it's digital currency that has no paper banknotes, it exists only virtualy. So Bitcoin can only profit from the cashless world but to my opinion we will have to wait for a while before cash disappears entirely.

In this hyphotetically cashless society, BTC isn't allowed and only official government currency is allowed, but not in paper, only in virtual world. That is mean a virtual currency, but controlled by government, centralized, total oppost of decentralized Bitcoin. Could Bitcoin be killed this way?

I think the answer is no, it couldn't. Although governments want to have everything under their control and thus they don'y like BTC much, Bitcoin exists now and it seems that nothing could prevent its existence in the future. Also I think not all the governments are alike so even if BTC will be banned by some it will be accepted by others.
2287  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If nuclear war broke out where's the safest place on Earth? on: December 19, 2016, 12:52:13 PM
Easter Island in the South Pacific would be one of the safest places on Earth as the article suggests and I agree with that. I'm wondering whether people are already buying real estate there. After a nuclear war the Earth would be a bad place to live anyway so let's hope that will never happen.
2288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: December 19, 2016, 11:38:49 AM
0.2TBC must be a joke, the price can only come down, it is just a simple law of economics demand and supply. January a can see the price at 0.02BTC range

That is a more realistic prediction in my opinion. ZEC is at 0.0585 now and still dropping, 16% drop in one day. I think nothing can save the coin, even bots buying very small fractions of the coin at 0.066. Nobody will fall for that, people are smart nowadays.

Zcah worth 10$! Maybe 15-20$! All over 20$ isover priced!
Newcoins with same stuff offering coming that are under 1$! So why yse zcash for 20$ if you can use coin for 1-2$ fir anonimum transfer! 😜👍🏼

If that is the case, you should short the coins and make over 40$ each when it does drop to $10 or even lower.

I do not think the ZCash price will go that low.

Each time it drops, even when there are pumps, it keeps going lower every time. It's already at an all time low at 43$. At 35$, I'll stop mining it, if not before, and so will other "normal" people (by that I mean home miners who have like 2-3 rigs tops). Maybe if people stop mining it, the number of newly generated coins will drop, creating a void in supply and price will rise again, but I don't think that'll happen.

I don't think it works like that. As far as I know the less people are mining the lower the difficulty becomes so basically the number of newly generated coins is not dropping when fewer people are mining. If I'm missing something here it would be great if someone would explain it better to me.
2289  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-19] Nigeria sets up a committee to study Bitcoin penetration on: December 19, 2016, 10:26:39 AM
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Commission (NDIC) have set up a committee to investigate the growing trend of bitcoin use, according to the government-owned broadcasting station, the Voice of Nigeria. The news was revealed on Friday by NDIC Managing Director Alhaji Umaru Ibrahim at the 2016 Workshop for Financial Correspondents in Kaduna.

http://bravenewcoin.com/news/nigeria-sets-up-a-committee-to-study-bitcoin-penetration/

That's a great news. The more Bitcoin is adopted the better. Even though they are only starting to investigate the use of Bitcoin it is still a good thing, because where I live they haven't even started. That's a shame that most governments are still having no clue. Bravo Nigeria!
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would the Casino of your dreams look like? on: December 19, 2016, 10:19:17 AM
Hi guys!
There are tons of online casinos and gambling bitcoin sites. Some of them are different in some ways, some of them are really unique, but mostly they are the same.
I would like to know what would the ideal casino look like? What do you like on online casinos what do you dislike?
What are the best promos, which of them you don't like? Why? Which games should it have? What about tournaments? Etc. Post whatever comes to your mind!

The ideal online casino is that where you can play without depositing. Take primedice for example. You can easily register there and then play from their faucet and there are Happy Hours also when you can claim 10k sats from their faucet. Also I heard that there are sites with Poker Tournaments where you shouldn't pay anything for the entry and you can even win a prize participating, but I should learn how to play poker first.
2291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: December 18, 2016, 10:13:53 PM
I do against weapons and their use. Humanity needs to take care of to exist peacefully. I have no weapons, and I had never shall get

That's really okay, you know. After all, you are going to die anyway. Might as well be sooner rather than later... 'cause you don't have any weapons to protect yourself. And once you are dead, you won't hear your family cursing you for not getting some weapons to protect THEM. So, go ahead. Remain unarmed.

Cool

I like your words. We do need protection because there are too many bad guys with guns around. Although I'm not sure that everyone should have a gun. Some people just can't hold it you know. But of course I'm grateful to the people who can protect others from the bad guys with guns.
2292  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: December 18, 2016, 09:17:51 PM
If we are going to replace fiat with bitcoin, then we need a way to scale bitcoin into trillion, and the only way we can do this is by Lightning network, so get your ass to work and tell everyone you know to start activating segwit by downloading bitcoin core 0.13.1 and running it all day.

Why do you think so? Is it because there are more than a trillion dollars in the world? To replace that we have enough satoshis I think. So theoretically Bitcoin can replace all the money in the world but I don't think this will happen. Not in the next 50 years at least.
2293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice - provably fair - ONLY WINS on: December 18, 2016, 08:33:35 PM
Dice for winning - provably fair -
Very cool dice site!

http://www.prostoloto.ru

Try my our new dice!

Your site is looking very simple and there is no option to test it since you can't make a zero bet and there is no faucet on the site. I wasn't going to deposit but still when I hit the DEPOSIT button there was an ERROR message. So I think you need to work more on your site. Good luck!
2294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 18, 2016, 08:09:09 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
According to me When we Win some Bitcoins in gambling then we hope that we will win more but sometimes we win and sometimes loss So If we Loss our whole money after that we Gamble again in a hope to win again That's why Gambling is so addicting. I suggest you to Don't Do gambling because it's not good for your future.

I didn't understand your whole statement, I just did understand the last part that don't gamble for it is not good for your future. We may not have good future with gambling but there are a lot of gamblers who did became successful with it. And that is making more people gets addicted with it for the desire to become rich and successful with gambling, which is wrong.
Certainly we are in charge of our future and our actions now will reflect in the outcome of our future, maybe for some that is not gambling responsibly might ruin their future but for people who understands that gambling is merely for fun, there's nothing to worry as they can handle.

I'd say if you are gambling not responsibly you might lose all your money but having no money doesn't mean your future is ruined. You can make more, right? But even if it is not a big catastrophe when you lose all your money you should think twice before starting gambling, and you should ask yourself a question: "Will I be okay with losing all I have?"
2295  Economy / Gambling / Re: To all gambling sites. Please make play money games on: December 16, 2016, 02:55:04 PM
One thing I have not seen in many bitcoin gambling sites is the use of play money to let users try out their games first. Play money is a must if you want to attract users because most of us do not have the disposable income available at all times. Sometimes we only want to play for fun without the risk of losing anything.

Please consider this because it will also be good for you because your site will be discussed more in the forum.

There are many gambling sites with faucets so technically you can try out their games there. Also there are Poker sites which give some chips to play on signing up and there are also sites with free daily tournaments where you can even win some real money paying nothing for the entry. So yeah, it is good like you said but it is already implemented.
2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will have a $300 million market cap by december on: December 16, 2016, 02:44:15 PM
Buy now or cry later

How many have you bought and what is your profit? Waves is a bit higher now then in the time you were posting so I'm wondering have you made any profit by yourself. The market cap is far from what you were predicting though.
I seen Waves on Yobit, an' it got flushed down tha crapper.  I agree, it seeems like a scam jist like lisk was an' they came out at besically the same time.  I cain't speak for the brotha above, but ma guess is that he din't make nowhere near a profit.  I think most people a-lost money on this thang.  I cain't access Yobit no more, so what's it tradin' at now?

Waves is at 0.00058888 right now on Yobit and since the minimum buy was 0.00039999 at the time OP was posting he might be made some profit. Why do you can't access Yobit no more? You were banned by them or what's the reason?

Switzerland: How the World’s Densest Bitcoin ATM Network is Doing

One month after Switzerland’s national railway company SBB/CFF/FFS surprised everyone by allowing every single one of their ticket machines to sell bitcoin to anyone with a Swiss phone number, we followed up to see how it has been going for SBB and its customers.

https://news.bitcoin.com/switzerland-densest-bitcoin-atm-network/

Switzerland has always been one of the best countries in the world. They are quick to adopt everything which is good for their people and now they have more than 1000 BTMs working around the clock. Why am I not surprised? I think other countries should follow their example as soon as possible. Good job, Switzerland!
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 16, 2016, 02:00:35 PM
just play online games and avoid looking to some sites when you know that the online game you are playing is hosting some kind of betting. You can limit you bankroll so you can avoid spending too much while still gambling and make it disappear little by little.

That won't work, playing any amount runs the risk of winning and playing more and more. Just turn your internet off, read, meditate, have sex and fill your lives with other hobbies to take your mind off.

Easier said than done. That's not how it works when someone wants to overcome an addiction. Addicted people just can't live without the subject of their addiction so it's better to give it to them but in tiny portions. Playing from the faucets only and never depositing your money on a gambling site would be my suggestion to quit gambling.
2299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 15, 2016, 02:26:40 PM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?

Yes I do have a suggestion for you. You should stop gambling right away if you can't control yourself. Depositing again after losing all your balance is unacceptable if you do not see yourself as a chronic gambling addict. If it's impossible for you to have fun with gambling losing insignificant amounts you should stop definitely.

i think he need to manage his self when he loss all the balance because if he still make deposit and continue to play, in the end he only get ruin and broke. and this is why we need to control our self when playing gambling and i need this too because i feel sometimes i am getting hard to control myself.

I'm glad you understand your problem, because that is the first step towards overcoming it or solving it if you want. I don't know maybe in the future I will also need more strength to control myself but for now it is pretty easy for me to do. The more I read about gambling the more I understand that for some people this is very serious problem, we should be careful guys.

Looking for some unique giveaway ideas -- Let a mod know if you have anything thought out!

video contest ! ^^ its always fun
It's a boring idea, there are a ton of video contest out there. Try to find a unique one. Also, not all people can make video (it's need some skills), would be better if all people can join in that giveaway.

How about creative design photo contest ?

Here's some example :
  • cake with primedice texture or other kind of food
  • Lego that made with primedice theme
  • Domino that imaging primedice logo
  • etc

Great idea IMO. I would like to see a picture of Lego that made with primedice theme. It is winter where I am now so I propose building from the snow something Primedice related. I think that would be fun too. Anyway I'll be glad to take part in any Primedice contest.
