1341  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin for food delivery on: August 17, 2017, 09:19:48 AM
Here in Germany, the biggest food-delivery "Lieferando" has already accepted Bitcoin as a Payment method. Does something like this also exist in your country and would you use it?  Smiley

I knew no place accepts bitcoin where I live but just in case I googled it again and unfortunately I was right. But hopefully the situation will change for better in the nearest future. At least we already have bitcoin ATMs.

Although I don't order food normally, if there was a food-delivery accepting BTC I would order from them definitely at least once.  Smiley

If you are going to gamble you have to be prepared to lose money. No doubt there's a big chance you will lose but the question is how much. That's why I prefer betting with low win chance, the lower the better. Thus you don't risk big amounts but at the same time you have a chance to win big.

This is true because the word gambling is associated with risks and losses and profits only come for the casino owners and investors and not for the players. There are other methods to make money and in gambling one must be prepared to lose money because that is the way the world works. If gambling was so profitable then people would not have worked hard to get a job - everyone would have just joined a casino.

I think few people actually think otherwise. But starting to gamble we often think that we are exceptions to the general rule. And the funny thing is that sometimes we are, we do win sometimes, and the winning phase may last as long as a year. It takes a lot of efforts to not be tricked by that.

Hi Steve, we have just replied to your email. As explained you need to verify your email address by clicking a link we sent you when opening account with us. Try setting up another account with either yandex.com or tutanota.com - these are fast and easy to set up.

Let us know if you have any questions.

One other thing, would you guys and girls be interested in a WTA (winner takes all) 6 player NLH tournament 4000+320 buy-in, 8K added? Or would you rather have 2 places pay?

2 Places paid are better if you ask me, anyway we didn't met 6 players to lunch a single sng in this last 3 days. I think if you create freerolls offering chips at least a low amount per tournament doing many wil increase the traffic.

I WANT TO CONFIRM THAT I HAVE GOT MY CASHOUT ~
FOR 0.35 BTC they are trusted as far As I can tell. Thanks BTCKINGS, I'm doing my best to refer players with my referal link.

Congratulations, Here4Trades! 0.35 BTC is a very good profit from playing poker. Well done! Good luck in the future!

Those of you guys who have gmail check your spam folder for the confirmation email, for some reasons it goes there usually. Smiley

Good luck at the tables on BTCKINGS!

1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 16, 2017, 11:07:55 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

Well, everything is possible, there is no way to determine what the future holds.

But it is highly probable that bitcoin will not crash to the extent that you have written any time soon. Bitcoin is still in its 'developing phase' and has received plenty of support from its users, both old and new. Bitcoin's value is strongly tied to its demand, and while the demand is up - so will the value be.  We have seen the price of BTC grow drastically in the past few weeks, of not days and looks like it will be permanent. I do not think the price will drop anywhere below $3000 USD if we look at the current trends today.

I think so too. The Aug 1st caused uncertainty is over and now the demand is rising like never before. The thing is new to bitcoin people were hesitant to buy bitcoins before the Aug 1st even though they heard that it's profitable to invest in BTC. Now after the dust settles those people will be buying more confidently.

Yes you want to play gambling you should be ready to accept your loss. Then only you can play gambling or else stay away from this gambling. We can not control our greediness while playing gambling. So limit your bankroll and don't increase that bankroll whatever it happens that day. To limiting your bankroll, you can save your money or else it is not possible. And betting with a small amount also save your money.
It is totally a fantasy that you can gamble without losing your money. If you want that you don’t give up on even a single penny, then it is much better for you to quit gambling and look for some other ways of investments that prove profitable in the end. Gambling becomes an addiction for those who get themselves indulged in it and they keep on losing without even noticing the consequences.

Gambling is risk. I personally too have lost more than what I won. But the difference is lower. And in my experience, higher odd bets have higher chances of giving you a profit than a lower odd bet.

Its not a big surprise for telling that majority is lose rather than win on gambling. That's why there's no safe way on not losing our money there since at the first place where playing on this kind of game and much better if we can't afford to lose then we shouldn't play gambling.
We all know that, I could even make a survey among my friends now who are active in gambling and I am very much confident I will get a result that majority of them are losers in gambling. It's not new to us especially if we have been gambler for years, newbie maybe thinking making money is easy but they will realize it's hard to make it happen in the long run.

I remember being a newbie I thought it is possible to create a winning strategy on dice game. I was winning at first and thought I succeeded and only after some time I realized that you will always lose in the long run.
1346  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 16, 2017, 10:25:36 AM
also I just asked for payment looking  in  google and I just found  the post here at bitcointalk I hope this website  pays  Roll Eyes

So far there is no complains about payment, some people even confirmed that they receive their withdrawal from this site so I guess it is safe enough. The only complain is about the lack of real players, most of the players are just bots.
I am glad that they pay is what matters right now Sure that later there will be more real people than bots
 Grin

The maximum number of real players playing simultaneously on this  site was 6 if I'm not mistaken. But it is not so rare to see 2-3 human players at different tables. Yesterday, for example, three players, Gennady, Here4Trades and one other were playing NL Hold'em at 100/200 table without bots. I didn't join because I play poker poorly but it was nice to watch. Btw it's interesting for me to know who won eventually.

Not promoting anything. Just saying there is absolutely 0% chance this site will survive and 100% chance they will pull exit scam. Although they are already scamming with use of bots.....

Hello, Kid_diK!

Thanks for your interest to BTCKINGS and also thanks for bumping this thread several times!  Smiley

That's true that normally there only 2-5 human players on the site and yes it is more fun to play with real people than with bots. You can change that by joining the site. But please check first whether it is permitted to play poker for a person your age where you live.
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 14, 2017, 02:39:25 PM
yes for me bitcoin is better than gold. i invest my all money in bitcoin not gold because bitcoin have high volatility and more valuable than gold. investment in bitcoin is for short term and every one can gain more profit in bitcoin than gold.

Some people consider high volatility a bad thing, but I agree with you, there's nothing bad with that as long as you don't panic when the pirce is dropping and just wait until it starts rising again. Another option is buying when the drop was around 10% in one day, because the probability of dropping lower is very low for bitcoin these days. Many people are waiting for the low price to buy and after a big drop they satrt buying and the price is beginning to rise.
1350  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: August 14, 2017, 01:40:52 PM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

Yes it is very possible that in the future cryptos will take over. But I don't think that governments, apart from those who already banned bitcoin, will be preventing the course of events. Most likely they will adapt and will use cryptocurrencies for their own good.
1351  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 14, 2017, 12:59:05 PM
If anyone around want to play some heads up im there also giving action to other tables go go go!

edit: BTW if you want to play sign up with my referal code ! https://btckings.com/132398

edit 2 : bonus points , what are they for ? I mean If I don't have any promotional chip to clear on my balance I just can't use them ?

This question was answered by the OP earlier:

Here's what we plan to do with bonus points. We will have 3 buttons on the top of the screen which will be enabled/disabled depending on your bonus count.
First button will be 1000 for 1000 - meaning you get 1000 chips for 1000 bonus points
Second button 3000 for 2000 - you get 3000 chips for 2000 bonus points
Third button 10,000 for 5000 - you get 10,000 chips for 5,000 bonus points

It will take us some time to implement this, but since none of you (except of joyjoy and bigfish) have anywhere near 10K bonus points, we are in no hurry  Tongue

Right now there only three human players, Gennady, gr1bul and me, btcAlice at the tables and there's no room at 10/20 and even at 5/10 to play. Maybe it's better to take out a bot automatically when there's no places at a table, if that's possible.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 13, 2017, 02:59:33 PM
For me, bitcoin is the best investment in the modern world. Its price is skyrocketing, no matter what, and in the future creates the prospect of financial security.

Even if the price is pretty much stable it is still a good investment because it was shown to us many times that a year or two later the price will be higher thatn it is now. The only thing you need when investing in bitcoin is patience. Don't sell when it is dropping, wait patiently and you'll see it will rise in the future.
Indeed, it will be difficult to find something with more upside potential. But I advise you do not try all your capital invested in such a volatile asset, or you can be emotionally destabilized if the price falls too much, which can lead to bad decisions.
Yeah, investing all capital into any single investment is very risky. That’s why it is advised to have versatile portfolio to be on the safe side in the trading world. I believe that it is good to invest good portion of your savings into bitcoins because I see them as the future currency of the world.

I agree, even though bitcoin is the best investment possible, at least in my opinion, it is not recommended to invest everything you have in one thing. But investing in something else you should think twice whether that wouldn't be undoubtedly bad investment. I'd rahter invest more in bitcoin in that case.
1353  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 13, 2017, 02:39:50 PM
Hopefully this site gets certification from an authorized online gaming regulatory and brings more traffic!

Do such certification affects the traffic for a bitcoin gambling site? I guess no, as once a bitcoin gambling site gets the certification then there is a high chance for players to be asked for document verification which is against the anonymity of bitcoin players.

That's right, BTCKINGS cares about your anonymity and, what probably even more important, the site won't scam you in contrast to many sites where you can anonymously register to play poker.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fun seeking gamblers vs profit seeking gamblers on: August 12, 2017, 06:45:14 PM
Which side you are gambling ? Are you successful with your intentions of gambling ?

I read finding entertainment from gambling is possible for all the gamblers still it is not a preferred way for all the gamblers. Here we must note all profit seeking gamblers are not successful with their attempts.

How you are gambling honestly and what is your suggestion to a newbie ?

I suggest you to be among the fun seeking ones. As you said it yourself, profit seeking gamblers lose mostly, so you know what to do. Never seek profit from gambling even if you will be winning at first and you'll start to think that maybe it's possible. Stick with your initial point of view whatever happens and you'll be fine having fun with gambling.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Why Satoshi Left? on: August 12, 2017, 01:20:38 PM
Satoshi most likely left because he didn't want to become a 'leader' of Bitcoin which is decentralized.
Had he still been here, I believe the majority of the community would follow & agree with him on everything, instead of having debates about Bitcoin's future. This isn't someone a decentralized, consensus-based currency should have.

This is a very interesting perspective but I believe that bitcoin community would not necessarily agree with everything Satoshi says. There are many educated and smart people here, they have their own opinion on things. Of course Satoshi would be highly respected in this community, but not like some unchallenged authority.

This is the kind of mistake I'll try to not make. What I've learned from the whole history of bitcoin is that if it falls even very hard it will inevitably rise again in the future. Bad decisions you've mentioned include selling at low price, which I'm not going to do, I'd rather wait half a year or even more, but I wouldn't sell at a low price.
1357  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 12, 2017, 11:45:00 AM
There are 5 registered for the 50k gtd right at this current moment. If one more person registers, it may start. C'mon someone! Not only is it a guaranteed prizepool, but it's also a guaranteed overlay with just 6 runners.

So, did it happen? I missed that one and right now it is only one player, Gennady, is registered for the tournament. And if it happened, who won?  Smiley

Yes, it happened. It started as soon as 6 players were registered. It paid the first two places. Gennady won it and got 30K+ chips. I forgot who won second place. His name started with a "g" I think. He won the rest of the prize money. I finished on the bubble (third) and got nothing. Sad   One player was afk/sat out the whole time and eventually got blinded out.

Oh, that's great. Sorry that you got nothing, good luck next time. Congrats to Gennady, as I can see he's winning constantly on btckings.

Maybe I won't take part in the next tournament because I know that with my poker skills I will lose for sure, but I will be watching it with interest. Good luck to all!

1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: August 11, 2017, 02:10:47 PM
I guess in gambling, money is everything to me but there are some many people who play gambling enthusiast likely they think money is not everything because they play with to fill their time and eliminates boredom even they had no fear of losing their owned Wink Smiley

No, money is not everything because if you gamble only to make money then mostly you will not enjoy your time as well as you will not earn money. In gambling, you need to be lucky to win money and you can't be lucky every time you gamble so most of the time you will lose. So I gamble for fun and if I'm lucky and win some money then I feel happy but will not gamble only for money.
- Yeah, money is just a part of gambling, if we gamble because of money, that would be boring and lose the meaning of the game. In gambling, we need the most is lucky, followed by feeling happy, sad, angry
- Many winners in gambling but they are not happy, and many lose but they are still happy. Money is not everything in gambling, there are more meaningful things than money a lot

Good point! Indeed sometimes I lose and still feel happy because: 1. My losses are never so big to regret playing; 2. Because I had great time playing and chatting with other players. Money should never be the reason you gamble, gambling is not a way to make money.
1360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: August 10, 2017, 05:59:16 PM
Gambling is the only way to make a quick money and the benefits will come to you only if you win and that will depend on your luck but most of the times you will be loosing your money in it so I don't see any benefits involved in gambling.

No, gambling is not the only way to make a quick money. Apart from illegal ways which should be excluded of course, there are other ways which can potentially bring you to big money. Treasure hunting is one of them. And there are others, but all of them depend on your luck big time, so you can't expect they will work for sure. Same with gambling, it can be beneficial but the chances are small.
