Is the lawsuit against Casimero on the alleged rape is still not solved? I cannot see any updates about it on the internet, so hopefully they already solved it.
I did some research just a few days ago to somehow shared some updates here regarding that case but found no one. a) as usual in the Philippines, cases are pending for long or maybe they are waiting after Casimero's fight with Butler b) the case is now being solved without the media presence Either way, should not be a form of distraction for Casimero, especially if they think the case doesn't have sufficiently strong evidence and is mainly just a pure accusation. We don't know behind though. That shouldn't be a problem for Casimero and his team if that's the case, as we read the article shared in the previous pages in this thread, we can read that the allegations is not solid and has many loopholes. But I do hope it's the second one, that they already solved that matter without any headlines from any news outlets and media and not just because the case is still pending, waiting for its turn. |

I agree however with what you said that Casimero is now healthy and just maintaining his good shape until the date of the fight. There should be no problem less than a month to go or else, his WBO title will be stripped for good.
He needs to maintain his diet until the fight takes place. He should be fit with the weight so the fight will proceed, Else, likewise, the bet will be stripped on him and he will be starting from the scratch. The fight will serve as another depend on his title. A mandatory that he needs to accomplish to call for more money fight. It is his ticket to keep chasing Inoue and settle who's better between them. One fight at a time, though, Inoue may take Donaire first before him in case he wins against Butler. Casimero's weight should be their biggest priority as it was his biggest problem than the trainings, they surely don't want that particular issue to rise again because that would surely mean that he will be stripped if he cannot make that needed weight. I will stop you there. My worry now is what if they cannot make it to the playoffs? For sure with their ranking, they might be in the play-in tournament, but what if they'll fall again? I mean, if they want to be in the playoffs, maybe they should start winning now consistently. The last games were a bit disappointment as Frank Vogel said but with Lebron and Davis around, he still hopes for progress within the last month of the competition. The probability for Los Angeles Lakers to make it to playoffs is still 50-50 and this means that the team should exert more efforts to win the next games even pulling a miracle out from a single hat. Really necessary if they don't want to get embarrassed, at least reaching the playoffs would ease the pain. There's still no timetable of Davis's return, for sure they'll improve a bit with Davis but if no Davis in the play-in, I have a feeling we will see the unexpected. I just watched it on youtube. Thor evaded the big swings of Hall. It was only in the first round where Hall got success with it but in the next rounds, the jabs of Thor won. Yes, it's sort of a freakshow. You wouldn't even think it's a real boxing bout. I guess if you know Thor before this match, you'll just think of him fighting as the Champion of Westeros.
Hall certainly doesn't know how to box, nor footwork. He must be grateful that it's just 6 rounds.
Yeah, that was the jab that made Thor win the fight. Eddie Hall had some power but he is short enough to reach Thor who played nice defense. if only Hall was faster, then we might have a chance of getting inside the defense of Thor and land him the solid shots. Los Angeles Lakers are trying to hold onto the playoff area now. And they had an away game against Cleveland Cavaliers last night. LA Lakers had a really solid game against Cavs and destroyed them by 131-120. Lebron had a very solid game by the way. He got a delightful triple-double by 38 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. And he was the player who got the biggest role in their win as always. Lakers played superbly especially in the second and last quarters which was helpful for a win a lot here.
Yeah, they got bullied and dominated by a huge gap difference in the 1st quarter but they somehow managed to snatch the lead until the end with good plays of of Westbrook, Augustin and of course LeBron James as always that got 38 points and a triple double. Tomorrow it's a tough game for them, let's see if they can still withstand the magnitude of Embiid and Harden. They will be tested if their rotation now will be good. |

I think that's the most cases for those kid who were born rich, they're mostly sensitive because they've been spoiled since they born and maybe Ryan is one of them, that's why he's reacting like he was betrayed by Canelo and maybe that's the also reason why he revolt and find another one to train him.
Yes, he should definitely learn to be open to some criticisms and be used about the noise surrounding him because that's quite normal while you're moving up in the boxing industry.
Some people don't have guts to accept criticism - they are too sensitive what other people think and say about them .. To be honest if you want to be a real fighter ( Mentally and physically ) you have to stop giving importance to people's option. To me criticism is healthy - one should listen to the criticism - if it concerns you, take it otherwise leave it there and move on.. Right, there are those certain people who are like that and sensitive enough when they are criticized publicly and for Garcia's case, that's his weakness and he should work on that one well because someday one of his opponents will use that weakness to get in his head and that could result in defeat. He should learn to how to accept it until he get used to it and only pick some few criticisms that could help mold his character. Ryan Garcia with all his mental demons, is very sensitive at every criticism he will hear and get. Specially from someone who he treats as friend, Canelo goes to the public and reveal something that Garcia didn't like so obviously he moves out of that gym because now he doesn't feel being accepted. But then again, Garcia is still very young that's why he still has this kind of attitude, his mental attitude shows that he has a lot of things to learn from this sports and business. He really felt backstabbed when Canelo have said and revealed something in public, Garcia may have been hurt badly because who knows he might looked up on Canelo as one of his closest friend that is supposed to help him along his career especially advice him in the years to come but I understand Canelo because I think he just did that to make him open his eyes more in this industry. |
