I downloaded chain but it won't even start when I add my wallet, gives me some error.

Guess those coins are lost. I've probably spent 1000$+ dollars on them, probably 1500$, btc was still pretty high back then.
2322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 31, 2014, 06:48:22 PM
I would seriously appreciate the bottom, need to take my life back. Please.

I hear ya.  Is it just me or has anyone else been delaying things until BTC decides to go up in price again?

It is a bit painful.  We are perhaps a little "overinvested" right now.  Sure, we can sell coins right now (not even at a loss of what we paid originally) but it is a horrible time to sell, so we wait, and wait and wait.   Undecided

In the mean time, we could really use a new couch, new carpet, have a zero percent credit card that we are just delaying paying because we don't really want to sell coins and then Christmas is just around the corner.  The kids really want a nice Christmas. Wink  Hopefully we are at least back to $600 by then?  I can hope anyways.

I'm thinking Feb., March for up trend. Cannot see people investing much in btc with Christmas looming. The new year may see more lows with people cashing in btc to pay for the holidays. Who really knows?

Won't happen this time, the bubble I mean, but it happened last year exactly in front of Christmas. It isn't important.

To compare Caucesku and Erdogan is utter mental, lol.

One is comunist dictator who's country was piss poor, the other is democratic president who's country is borrowing money to WMF.

I was not comparing the two... I was merely making a joke about the size of his palace...  and actually the country was not piss poor, they had zero national debt and plenty of wealth, just in the hands of very very very few people.

Also I am not comparing their situations, apart from to say, if people do not like Erdowogwan, then they know what to do about it (in reply to the gentleman above saying not happy with egoweirdwan and the situation in Turkey, again, not serious)

Erdogan is so disliked by Turks that he didn't lose the elections last 15 years. But I guess that's hard to figure out when you're reading western Turkey bashing media, one that supported any foreign funded and organized groups that tried to screw Turkey and Erdogan from inside with all kind of mess after not being able to do it on ballot boxes.

Turkey is not willing to play their game when and how they want, so we know what happens with those that don't do it. Luckily, they are in NATO and are not piece of cake otherwise they'd find a way to bomb it long time ago.

One is communist dictator who's country was piss poor while he was in charge, the other is democratic president who's country was such improved during his rule that it is borrowing money to WMF after being on the knees before he came.

Just wanted to mention that my new house is completed:

That looks like a mere penthouse apartment that Ceaușescu had built ontop of his "palace" as an after thought. (we all know what happened to him huh?)

I have seen this place, it is f'kin huge.

This photos taken from Turkey. Our President built new house for him. I am also from Turkey. We are not happy for this "palace" because we have lots of problem and we are not wealthy country.

Bit too rich to say he built it for him. He built it for Turkish presidency/government, he won't be one 300 years.

Erdogan is legend. He and his pals turned your economy upside down in last 10 years and made Turkey much wealthier, more independent and influential country, that's why West is trying to screw you for years.

Just to make a point here, in the 3d chart the 20 MA and the 200 MA are crossing and this only happened in 2012.  Sad

img]http://s12.postimg.org/5k9f5k4od/analysis_as_of_141031.png[/img]

Isn't that a pretty bullish sign though??

eh, how it would be bullish?

Though not crossed yet, 3d mas can take a time.
2328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: October 31, 2014, 03:30:38 PM
To be honest, if it is correlated with something it's USD strength. I wouldn't call correlation with current gold drop because dollar massacred everything recently, not just gold.

I doubled my small forex playing account today trading EUR and yen drop vs dollar. Gold, silver, GBP, CAD, AUD.. everything crashed vs dollar.

I have 10k HUC since it started. Never ever managed to synchronize this shit of the wallet. Each time new update comes I download it hoping it might be the one, just to open it, download 20-30 blocks and stuck there.

That's the spirit. I remember the faucet payments from the old days and what they were worth a few years later.

How much were faucets paying back then?
2331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Critical Levels - EW analysis on: October 29, 2014, 02:17:32 PM
If we break local lows and this wave v gets rolling, we can expect to find a bottom in a fairly short amount of time. Ill be tracking the waves live. This bottom is worth trying to pick out because we have a very strong count. Triangles are terminal moves, it is a rule that has never failed me. I will track the waves and we might be presented with a leading signal, or a breakout signal at the bottom to buy. Targets are 320ish in the west (profit target, not buy target!) and 2020ish in china.

I am not sure to get this. You mean 320 is a target to buy to close short trades, but it is not good to buy for a long trade ?

yeah you see the difference is that when we open a margin long we are exposing ourselves to risk of margin call. When we close a short there is no such risk. at the very bottom we usually dont have enough evidence to take this kind of risk. there is a very small chance that is not worth taking that we will get margin called straight away in the volatility and lose everything. Best to wait for hard evidence of the bottom before opening a margin position. Note that I very rarely try to pick bottoms to open margin long unless I have a strong count and a strong bigger picture. Closing margin positions however.... its worth picking the tops and bottoms for those because we can take the small risk of missing out on a few dollars of profit, take the quick, easy money, and save ourselves the time and stress of chasing corrections. It has also got to do with your mentality. when you are in profit, you are calm and will make good decisions. Picking the bottom to open margin long is VERY BALLSY and requires more practise.

Thanks a lot, it is really clear for me now.
So, i placed an order for buying at 250€ (318$), to have an opportunity to buy at a very low price it it happens, and otherwise I will wait for a strong buying signal.
Keep updating this thread. I am listening.

Well, if you are waiting for strong buying signal than forget about that very low at 318 unless it is very strong signal there.

I fucking hate this market condition, no fucking chance to chart or anything this. They do whatever they want and we just participate like sheep.

What do you expect in a thin market with die-hard hoarders, panic buyers and sellers, and the vast majority of bitcoin wealth in the hands of a relative few?

Some action  Grin

WHales are playing games with us at their will. Hobo whale adding and removing 10k wall, pushing price up and down whenever he feels like it. Absolutely perfect market to lose money in it if trading.

The beauty of EW - you have to be right once, just keep tryin'  Grin
EW kinda sucks.
If his prediction is wrong it's another wave.
Rinse and repeat until you're right.

Yep. It's good in long term prediction when charter knows what he is doing but even best of them suck big time in short term prediction.

Hopefully people don't trade on advices from threads like this or they'll get burned short term 8 of 10 times.

This particular period is not great for predictions in any strategy though but EW is same in any market conditions.

And lot of buying energy was spent others recently too with many buyers getting burnt in the process.

In bear market like this, and in trading instrument like this, there's way more energy to sell than to buy unfortunately.
