Croatia was very close in the final of the 2018 World Cup to become the world champion in the match against France, but we did not have enough luck and concentration.

Maybe it would be different if FIFA assigned a well-known and respectable referee for the final, and not some anonymous character who doesn't know the rules of the game. Besides, how can one and the same referee man have the honor of refereeing the first and last match of the world championship, without anyone having heard of him before that?

Maybe one day the truth will be known, but it is rumored that FIFA was extremely interested in ensuring that nothing went wrong in the first game (the home team had to win at all costs), and that there were no surprises in the final. In addition, coach Dalic, when asked what he would change in that match, answered without any thought that he would change the referee.

How about learning to use a search engine and find what interests you? The matter is very simple and consists in typing the keywords into the search engine and then pressing enter on the keyboard and you get the search results.

However, I must warn you that you will not become any smarter from reading all those articles written by various "experts" who do not know the difference between Bitcoin and blockchain or between POW and POS. But I guess everyone has to go through various stages of searching for information in order to understand how information is manipulated.
2343  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 08, 2023, 02:09:59 PM
If the casino's Terms of Service mentioned that they might ask for KYC any moment, then it's not a scam, it's just a standard security measure they are taking, and always expect to pass a KYC check before making huge withdrawals.
~snip~

There are few people who read TOS, because it is a lot of text mostly written in small letters and probably mostly incomprehensible to most. Of course, online casinos protect themselves by asking for the user's information in case they withdraw funds from the account, but I think they would do themselves a great favor if they asked for it before depositing or even during registration.

Of course, no one wants to start such a practice, because KYC would probably reject most potential players at the beginning, but I would personally welcome such a way of doing business. Online casinos would at least protect themselves from being called a scam because they ask for KYC only when withdrawing and not when depositing.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 08, 2023, 10:46:35 AM
When the national team came back to Croatia after finishing third in the World Cup, Modric said that his goal is to bring the gold medal back home. That's why I think that his goal is to win the Nations League, bring the gold to Croatia and say goodbye to the national team. New contract with Real Madrid has nothing to do with him playing for the national team. A lot of players continued to play for their clubs after saying goodbye to the national team.

I wouldn't agree that the new contract has no effect on him, because I think it gives him a new confidence in the sense that he knows he's still good at what he does. Also, he is not one of those who play football only for money, but sincerely enjoys every minute on the field, especially when he plays for the national team. Euro 2024 will therefore be something where he will definitely want to be, regardless of the League of Nations result - because even winning first place in such a competition cannot be compared to the European Championship.
2345  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELL] Netflix account for $10 with full 1 month subscription plan HD on: April 08, 2023, 10:36:36 AM
my account is from india, and price is higher then subscription price.

If the information on the link I posted is correct, Premium HD in India costs $6.07 per month, but as @hilariousandco already mentioned, you have at least a dozen members who sell N accounts for a much lower price - although I should be honest and say that most of them are shared accounts, even possibly hacked because you are not allowed to change anything.

However, considering the changes that have already affected some countries, in the future each account will be locked to a specific location and device, so "sharing" of this type will no longer be possible.
2346  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-04-07] Elon Musk And His Company To Fly Bitcoin To The Moon on: April 08, 2023, 10:26:14 AM
The idea is just to literally make BTC go to da mooooon!
~snip~

But this idea is actually not new, because I remembered that a few years ago I had already read something similar and it turned out that someone had already come up with a similar idea to send Bitcoin to the moon, only that then the amount was much smaller and it was about physical coin.

I can't say how that mission ended and whether it came true at all, but as it started, it seems that this is not the last attempt to send BTC to the Moon, although I personally expect that someone will send it a little further, maybe to Mars Roll Eyes
2347  Economy / Economics / Re: Swiss Government-Owned Bank PostFinance to Offer Customers bitcoin and ether on: April 08, 2023, 10:16:58 AM
It may seem positive to some that some banks or other financial institutions make such business decisions, but I wonder how positive it is for a client to buy Bitcoin in a bank, and leave it with the same bank for safekeeping? This type of investment actually cancels one of the fundamental principles when it comes to Bitcoin, which is that everyone should be their own bank.

However, I also see some advantages in this way of investing, which is that the client will not (hopefully) have to do additional KYC because the bank already has it, as well as the possibility that cryptocurrencies may be insured in the same way as is the case with fiat deposits. I admit that banks can make it easier for potential Bitcoin investors, but no matter how you look at it, it's wrong to buy Bitcoin and then use custodial storage.

I really wonder where they got the idea to send 62 BTC to Moon, why not 20 or 50 BTC, for example? Apart from that, I don't really like the idea that the private key will be engraved on the rover, and that it will be documented as they say - I hope that this does not mean that there will be a picture of the private key.

Although the idea is interesting, I think it will be a very long time until someone starts hunting for "treasure" on the Moon, because the price of traveling there and returning to Earth is far greater than the current value of those BTC, although that value will certainly change in the future. An epic fail would be if the rocket explodes and "burns" those 62 BTC, of course, unless the private key is "documented" somewhere safe.
2351  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SELL] Netflix account for $10 with full 1 month subscription plan HD on: April 07, 2023, 03:03:15 PM
No offence but doesn't it only cost $20 a month anyway for the highest plan? People are selling accounts on here for mere dollars do I don't think you'll get much interest here.

The price of course depends from country to country, and in my case the Premium UHD package costs 9.99 EUR per month, while the Basic package costs 4.99 EUR. If you believe the data on this link, in some countries the Premium UHD package costs as much as $27, while there is also a country where it costs less than $4.
2352  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: About Hardware wallet]  I am curious to learn; please help. on: April 07, 2023, 02:49:08 PM
~snip~
The Ledger wallet has a tamper-evident seal that covers the USB port and the edges of the device.
The seal has a unique QR code that can be scanned using the Ledger Live app to verify its authenticity.

I've bought several Ledger HW over the years and I've never seen such protection, so I'm not sure where you got this information from? Even Ledger explains on its official website why it does not use anti-tamper seals and what you should pay attention to in order to protect yourself from fake or modified devices.

Ledger deliberately chooses not to use anti-tamper seals on its packaging. These seals are easy to counterfeit and can, therefore, be misleading. Rather, genuine Ledger devices contain a secure chip that prevents physical tampering: this provides stronger security than any sticker possibly could.

So be careful and it should be on the official site for less worry.

Buying from the manufacturer is something that is recommended, but you still have to keep in mind that the device travels for a while, and that it ends up in the hands of various people, whether it's delivery people, customs or someone else. We know from the experience of some forum members that their packages containing HW were opened, although this does not mean that there were malicious intentions.

If you want to be somewhat safe, when you buy a device and generate a seed, first send a smaller amount that you can afford to lose and leave it like that for a while - and if nothing bad happens, assume that the device is safe.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 07, 2023, 02:16:42 PM
@slackovic, I think that he will still remain in the national team and play in Euro 2024, because that competition would be perfect to say goodbye to the national team, especially if we manage to get a good result. Today the news appeared that Modric signed a new contract with Real Madrid, and he is one of those who publicly said that the club never prevented him from playing for the national team, and I don't think such a request will even happen.

It is true that Modric is the brain of the team, but it is also true that sooner or later someone else will have to take responsibility and become the leader. It will surely be an opportunity for Kovacic to show if he can play the main role in the middle of the field, but also for some other players who compete for those positions (Majer, Pasalic, Vlasic, Ivanusec).

THAT'S WHAT CENTRAL MARGINS ASK ME TO PAY....

Is it about this trading platform by any chance? According to everything that can be read about them, it seems that it is a classic scam in which victims are tried to be induced to invest as much money as possible, and problems arise when the victim wants to make the first withdrawal.

Obviously, one of the methods is the claim that the transaction is stuck and that some kind of "acceleration" should be paid. I hope the OP will tell us something more, but everything points to a scam.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 07, 2023, 10:29:32 AM
I think that Croatia must focus on the qualifications games and forget about the possibility of additional qualifications due to finish up first in the Nations league group phase. Croatia is winning even when most of their players are not at their highest performance. The game against Turkey is an example of this. We have a great goalkeeper and someone from the team always stands out. I'm just worried about games against weaker opponents like Armenia or Latvia. Croatia likes to lose points in those games.

I agree, but our mentality is such that we always complicate things for ourselves, and you only have to remember the qualifications for the 2018 and 2022 world championships, where we had big problems both times, and then won medals twice in a row. However, we rely a lot on individual quality, primarily the ever-present Modric, who is the brain of the whole team, and the great goalkeeper Livakovic, without whom we would not have beaten Turkey.

When Modric retires from the national team, there will be a big void in the middle of the field, and given that he is a bit of a miracle, it is unlikely that anyone from the existing team will be able to replace him. Let's hope that Modric plans to stay for Euro 2024 as well, and somehow it seems to me that he wants that because it will be a special European championship considering that our fans will come to the matches in large numbers.
2356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RATES AT WHICH BITCOIN ATMs MOVES IS MIND BLOWING on: April 07, 2023, 10:04:24 AM
The bitcoin ATMs doubled this year surpassing 30,000 globally in the world today, more than double the estimation at the beginning of 2021.
~snip~

Is it good news for those who live in the US or Canada? I say this considering that there are over 30 000 crypto ATMs in those two countries, while the rest of the world lags far behind. Therefore, from a global point of view, the situation almost does not change, because more than 90% of all crypto ATMs are located on one continent. It sounds fascinating that this is so, but it seems that there is a demand for such a way of crypto trading, although this does not surprise me at all when it comes to the US, where almost all important companies when it comes to the world of cryptocurrencies are actually located.

I believe that Croatia will be the first, and Wales will be second and Turkey will be the third, but we still don't know how it will be for sure. We need at least a few more games to see how the teams will play, before we can judge them about the end result.

Even if Croatia is not first or second in the group, it has a chance for additional qualifications in March 2024, given that it won first place in its League of Nations group. I wrote earlier that there is even a chance that Croatia will go directly to Euro 2024 if it wins the Nations League, but I think that may not be true (I can't find such information).

Teams have been placed into ten groups of five (including those containing the four UEFA Nations League Finals participants) or six. Sides play home and away in a round-robin format, with the group winners and runners-up advancing directly to the final tournament. The remaining three teams will be decided through the play-offs, featuring 12 teams selected based on their performance in the 2022/23 Nations League.

Can you please recommend an Antivirus reputable for this, I am sure there are fake antivirus out there that will worsen this case of malware.

I won't say that good AV is something that won't help, but you should ask yourself how you infected your computer with that malware in the first place? If you use pirated (cracked) software, download torrents or visit websites through which malicious programs are most often distributed, then nothing will help you protect yourself. The best thing you can do is to separate all of the above from everything related to cryptocurrencies.

Anyone who owns cryptocurrencies becomes a target, and if you want to avoid getting hit, you have to stay one step ahead of the bad guys.
2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Elizabeth Warren says she’s building an anti-crypto army in new campaign on: April 06, 2023, 01:57:40 PM
Another reason why the government wants a crackdown on the cryptospace is it might be hard to tax because cryptocoins are easy to move and hide hehe.

The tax is paid on the profit, which means that those who bought Bitcoin and did not sell it have no reason to pay tax, unless there is some country where you have to pay tax just because you own Bitcoin? In addition, everyone who buys Bitcoin through CEX has done KYC and uses their bank accounts for deposits and withdrawals, and then it is up to the state institutions that monitor such things to catch all those who avoid paying taxes.

It is stupid to say that Bitcoin is used by those who want to avoid paying taxes, because in reality nothing can be hidden from the authorities today.

OP, there's also that other thread all about MSTR in the Economics section you know.  I have no doubt this news has or will be posted there, and that's kind of the main thread dealing with Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy, and their bitcoin dealings (even though Economics seems like the wrong section for it to be in).
~snip~

I'm sure he knows, but why not open a new thread every time MicroStrategy buys Bitcoin - when you're the OP, you definitely get more exposure for your sig campaign, and maybe some merits come in too. The main thread in Economics serves its purpose and contains all the important information thanks to @fillippone.
