Obviously self escrow is a bad thing - no doubts. I am not sure however that it is really a scam and deserves negative trust. I would say shady/unethical, but I would also say with almost 100% certainty that he would never have ripped anyone off. I still think we were better off with QS on the DT than not on it though.
One could argue that charging for an escrow service while actually being the counterparty that the purchaser is looking for protection from is scammy in its own right. It could be considered that the purchaser of the escrow has been ripped off for the amount of the escrow fee. I would much rather see escrow providers make a clear statement that they will inform you whenever they are also the person you are trading with, rather than a wishy-washy statement like: "no representations are made as to the identity of the person you are trading with, this includes the possibility of trading with an alt of QS, as well as trading with someone other then you believe them to be". I mean, why not just tell people that you are wearing two hats at the same time, and let them decide whether they want to take the associated risk or not? In fact why even set up 5 or more alts in the first place, if not for trust farming and abuse? FYI: Since I am labeled as one of the "Big 5 Escrows" - I do not have any alt accounts and would never use myself to escrow a deal with myself. |

If you want to continue doing business here, a neutral note should be placed on your Default Trust referencing this situation and stating all agreements must be confirmed by a neutral third party before any work is done or coin exchanged hands.
You can't claim ignorance, screw a person over, then go about your merry way. Do something to make sure this misunderstanding doesn't happen again.
I disagree on him owing the full amount. The way I read it was that he wanted some example work not to commit to that guys design. Either way both parties are sort of at fault here - probably best to split the cost 50/50 and move on. |

How much time is left on this auction? Should be getting close to finished correct? I'm extremely surprised at how low the bids are currently, currently only $11 over original sale value  Based on the times. It should have ended 2hrs and 25 minutes ago, or 1am forum time. He is using Eastern Time so 17 hours left. Not really surprised on the price as I have never seen Kialara command a premium. Pretty much the only high markup stuff is Casascius, but who knows might go a lot higher closer to the end. |

I can say with 100% certainty - these are the highest graded Casascius coins. No one will ever get a MS-71 since 70 is PERFECT!
Not sure if I will actually sell since they are so rare...

I disagree with the feedback you keep leaving. Do you now trust him because someone else does not? Read what the ratings say... Positive - You trust this person or had a successful trade. Neutral - Comments. Your rating will not affect this person's trust score. Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer. Not saying I agree with Wardrick's feedback, but offset or comments are supposed to be neutral. I also do not agree with the Dooglus loan either. I do think Tspacepilot has been targeted a bit, but 2 wrongs do not make a right imo. Offsets are supposed to be neutral? That's not how I understood what Theymos just said in this thread. I haven't had much dealings with tsapcepilot but the quickseller thread made an impression on me and also the main scam that Wardrick mentioned was from a known scammer (TF), so I believed his (tspacepilot) story over TF. If someone leaves an unwarnnted negative, and the other members of DT aren't supposed to override it, that doesn't make much sense. I am not saying that I am right here by any means about this. I was just giving my opinion of how I interpreted the ratings system here to work. In the end each user can leave feedback as they please... |

Haha funny story about this watch. I forgot that I had purchased it and have never worn it! I have since bought a new watch. If anyone wants to buy it let me know - 100% never worn since it arrived to me!
