2363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: July 13, 2016, 01:50:41 PM
If you want to be scammed after a deal then go, use Paypal. But if you want to be safe and have the assurance that the sender won't revert the payment after you received it, then use Bitcoin. I don't understand why some people are still using Paypal. You can transfer both your Paypal and Bitcoin funds to your bank account. Another downside of using Paypal is that Paypal freezes your account for 180 days. You cannot do anything about it but wait.

2365  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening? on: July 13, 2016, 12:30:49 PM
I was expecting a lot from the bitcoin halving. In the last month/s, it was believed that the price would increase in July because of the halving. We're midway through July but the price didn't move that much. It just stayed at 640-660USD. To be honest I'm very disappointed because I get the feel that I have to wait much longer than I expected. Anyway, I'm fully aware that investing in bitcoins doesn't work this way. I should be patiently waiting for the price increase.
2366  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to run a sinature campaign on: July 13, 2016, 12:25:17 PM
Signature campaigns are basically advertisements. Do you see the advertisement-like thing under our posts? That's the signature. Since your forum is still new, then there's not much audience. The signature campaign would have not much effect so I think the payment rate should be very low. You might as well want to do the signature campaign in this forum instead. You would have a larger impact in here than when you do the signature campaign in your forum.

2368  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 13, 2016, 12:06:36 PM
I happen to stumble on this site while reading an article about the idea of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency being integrated to pokemon Go that may make bitcoin earning interesting for kids.  Yes this is kind of faucet but it is embedded  in a game.  The website is https://www.pokebits.com/.  There is referral bonus too.  This game is a text base I think. But some nice 2d graphics of those pokemonster.

I checked the website. It's no different from other pokemon RPG sites, the only twist is the Bitcoin thing which wouldn't even help you earn anything. 250 satoshi for 1 1/2 hours is extremely low. I think they used the "bitcoin" name just to make their website look updated and also to attract other people. If your kid wants to earn money, this Pokebits isn't for him. But if your kid wants to play Pokemon and earn some centavos after days of playing (I doubt someone would like to do this IMHO), then Pokebits is for your kid.
2369  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 13, 2016, 11:55:34 AM
Betcoin.ag has paused with accepting new participants roslinpl is the campaign manager and quoted me saying he'll send me a pm in a few hours about enrolling in to the campaign. I still haven't received anything yet I contacted him via private messages but to no avail. So what happens now?

As lutpin said rosinpl didnt take the pressure and cant handle anymore the allegation throwing with the betcoin.ag so he decide to take off his signature and announcing his retirement today as sig campaign manager of betcoin.ag, And as i see in their thread as many days past the many trollers and people questioning the reputation of betcoin.ag and im wondering for this state if they will continue their campaign while their image in this furom are totally broke many people really got turn off and some other avoid their to play in their site.

TwitchySeal, Lutpin, Glendall, Quickseller and EcuaMobi aren't trolls. All of the stories posted really do exist and they all have their proofs. Actually, TwitchSeal has always been there talking about the scam accusations pointed against Betcoin.ag and Betsoft but Roslin cannot answer those things because he's just the signature manager. Now, Betcoin.ag has become active in the thread so all of the scam accusations against them were asked for explanation.
2370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 12, 2016, 02:16:15 PM
for me, my problem at bitcoin is that there are a lot of scammers in investment . when you buy bitcoin whats next getting scammed? only lending and trade exchange will give you profit in bitcoin nothing else.

Actually there are tons of people waiting for a lender to give them loans. They will ask an amount that might be higher than their account's value so if the DT members tag them, they wouldn't even care. Or they will ask for a loan without any collateral or offer a collateral that is reversible. There are some lenders out there that are regretting the fact that they accepted BCT account for collateral. The user who asked them for collateral didn't actually care about the account and have no intentions of paying the loan.
2371  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 12, 2016, 02:13:26 PM
For me the word "rich" is something that all things you can afford to buy. As a rich man you must spend all your money wisely, you do have plans on long term for ex. You would invest on trading, stocks etc.

Yep, It's not just about getting rich. Once you become rich, you should also know how to stay rich. Rich people usually stays rich by not spending tons of money on things that they don't even need. They spend as if they can't afford anything. They are very wise and very picky on what to buy. Staying rich would be easy, though, if you worked hard to become rich and not just win a lotto or something. You would learn a lot of lessons in your journey to becoming rich.
2372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do u know someone who owns 1000 Bitcoin or more? on: July 12, 2016, 02:05:20 PM
This list http://www.bitcoinrichlist.com/top100 proves that there are less than 500 wallets that contains more than 1000 bitcoins. I bet these people are those who have invested in bitcoins from the start. They believed in bitcoin so now they are millionaires. But personally, I do not know someone or heard of someone who owns 1000 Bitcoins. Maybe there's someone in my area who has that much but don't wanna tell other people about it to prevent someone from hacking his/her account.

2374  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 01:38:05 PM
We all talk about the possibility of earning a living with bitcoins.
But do you actually do that, or know somebody who does it?
Yes, I'm doing it. I'm currently doing a full time job in bitcoin and Im earning atleast 10usd a day. My job includes captcha typing job, signature campaign and a little bit of poker.

That is almost as high as minimum earners here in our country. That is a good income for you because you have no boss, your time is yours and yet you are still earning a decent amount daily. Bitcoin gave us opportunity to make our lives better.

It all sounded so good then poker came up at the end.  Grin Yes that is one hell of a income for a online work. How many captchas does it take? I am guessing 3000 but I know that it can be done in just hours of typing without a problem with the internet. I have done that also through megatypers but I am not that kind of guy that have a lot of time for that work. Congratulations to you.

10 USD per day is already a big money for those people who live in a third-world country. People from first world countries usually get paid 15 USD for an hour of work. That's why earning a living with bitcoin would be much easier to those people from third-world countries because they only have to make a little amount of BTC to fulfill their needs compared to those who are in a first world country.
2375  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 01:32:40 PM
If the income from my bitcoin is much more than my day job and I know that it is a long time job or permanent job, then yes I will leave my day time job and will seek more jobs like that in bitcoin with which I will have increased income.

Even if you don't get more income in bitcoin than your day job, if you see that your bitcoin journey has more potential than your day job then go for it. Ditch your day job and go full time on bitcoin. You might think that it would be better to keep your day job but if you aren't going anywhere in your current day job (e.g. minimum wage, no chance of promotion or a raise) then just focus on bitcoin.

There would be consequences, of course, at first. But after establishing something or after becoming "someone" in the bitcoin world, you'll just look back and realize that sacrificing your day job was a good decision.
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 12, 2016, 01:07:52 PM
If you want to stay away from gambling then try to get involve in some other activities of life, and try to get a good job so that you earn better from there, and for  entertainment try to adopt other sources.

Try to get a good job isn't the answer. I think what you should do is be committed to your current job. If you love what you are doing, you wouldn't be bored doing it even after 8 hours of work. You'll be motivated and inspired. People who love their jobs usually increase performance. Thus, increasing the chance of them of getting promoted. If you're committed to your job, then you'll probably be busy and focused to it. You wouldn't even have time to gamble.
2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you recieved random BTC, would you return it? on: July 11, 2016, 01:02:40 PM
Probably not, knowing that BTC addresses are almost just random characters, no one would accidentally send you BTC. Someone wouldn't accidentally send you BTC because he accidentally changed a letter or two in the address. If I see a random amount going to my account, then I probably did something that made me earn that.

But if someone would contact me right after I received the bitcoins and say that he pasted the wrong address in the "recipient" part, then I might be in a good mood and send it back.
2378  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 11, 2016, 12:51:54 PM
There are 187 pages of answers to this thread.
What would mean for me,i doubt i really have to answer this question,i will do this with extra-ordinary way.
Deposit 10 bitcoin into some gambling, roll it at 2x payout (10btc bet ),you won? you are rich.

are you sure you can win in 2bet Roll Eyes
how if you lose all your money , better you go home and crying son Tongue

gambling is not way to rich

Don't listen to herman. He's just a regular board spammer here. Look at his posts. Smiley He doesn't care if his posts doesn't make much sense, he only wants to earn money in here.

Anyway, 10 BTC is too much to risk especially in gambling. You can either win another 10 BTC or lose all of that 10 BTC. Considering the fact that 10 BTC is equivalent to ~6,439USD, you should be rich already to be able to bet this much. For me, it would be a dumb decision to place a bet this big if you aren't rich yet. Because if you aren't rich, obviously, you can't afford to lose this much money.
2379  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 11, 2016, 12:49:02 PM
Kids can earn bitcoin from many faucets around the internet. You can search this faucets here on bitcointalk or other crypto forums Smiley
yeah I know faucet is the easiest method to get bitcoin. little kids just need to put the words in the box capthca. but I think faucet is not suitable for small children. because I'm sure a small child would easily get bored. moreover faucet does not have any interesting things for small children?

the mainly content can I take from your post. the child is easy getting bored and they need something can mixing learning , educating and playing at the same time can earning too. but for captcha, I think it's too heavy for children. maybe faucets its better than captcha.

I think there are games that  was created for kids. One of those is minecraft.  A multi-player server on the wildly popular video game Minecraft has introduced bitcoin to its world as a way of teaching children about digital currency. While in-game currencies exist in several different minecraft worlds, using bitcoin means that players can take their money out of the game and use it in the real world too.  This will likely make kids interesting to a platform where they can earn bitcoin.

Minecraft might be so simple and playable by anyone but the real question in here is would kids really earn money from Minecraft? Yes, there are people who are making money out of minecraft but those people are really good in that game and have spent a lot of time playing Minecraft. Do you honestly think that your kid is capable of doing the same thing and acquire the same knowledge and skill that a full-grown man has? I think not.

I was about to inquire and buy an account but:

He didn't post anything for the last 2 years. And the password was recently changed so there's a chance that this account was hacked or something. Anyway, I'm no one to conclude that OP is a hacker nor a scammer. I'm just going to wait for other people's feedback before I buy one. Smiley
