This is exactly what's on my mind. The only problem right now is I don't know how to code it. Grin I tried my best but I really can't figure it out. I found the code 'colspan' but it doesn't work. Sad
Well, instead of a singular table, try working around it. For instance, end the current table when you need a centralized text (e.g. 'Closed') and then open another table. However, this may complicate the code a bit further.

I tried that. The horizontal length of the tables do not match with each other. Smiley

Edit: I PMed Avirunes asking about how to do the codes. Hope we can get some help for the table.

This looks very good to me. There is no need to keep the status as a separate column for each campaign since they are already sorted based on their existing status. This saves up space that could be used for something else if needed.

Edit: Status column is very helpful.

Look at the quote in my suggestion, the status is still there but do not need to occupy one column. It looks like that but the code is actually messed up.

The manager column was suggested by Lauda.

Edit: I guess let's just wait for other people's suggestions. Figuring out how to code my idea takes so much time.
Edit: I think colspan isn't supported here.
I tried:
Code:
[td="24"][/td]
[td=24][/td]
[td colspan=24][/td]
[td colspan="24"][/td]
[td="colspan: 24"][/td]
and none of them works.

When you put manager name next to campaign name, in most situations it will be two-line text. It will make the table much bigger.
In a situation where the number of the campaigns is constantly increasing, I believe that this is not the best solution.

Yup, vertically though not horizontally. People are only having problems with the horizontal length. I don't know why people suddenly have issues about the size of the table when it has always been like this.

My suggestion: Remove the status column and just dedicate one row to indicate the status of the following campaigns. It would be like this:
Quote
ACTIVE
Campaign
|

Legendary
|
Hero

Senior

Edit: Formatting the whole table to look like the above.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 30, 2016, 08:41:17 AM
If we compared to bank transactions, it is definitely the fastest is bitcoin. and with a very small cost, otherwise it is the sender's security is assured.

If we compare it to placing a letter on a Turtle's Back , then yeah BTC is faster.

If we compare it to almost every other ALT Coin out there, BTC is slow as Shit.

 Cool

Well atleast bitcoin doesn't get raped by pump and dump scam. Wink Most people accepts bitcoin primarily and wouldn't exert effort to create a wallet of an altcoin just to receive your payment. In most altcoins, you might be at 100 satoshis today but you can go 1 satoshi tomorrow. Both have their downside but I would prefer to wait for 10 minutes than to wake up just to find out you're now holding a huge amount of shit coin. But I guess you can always choose strong altcoins like ETH.
1706  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 30, 2016, 08:18:33 AM
Well i do believe the best way to introduce kids into bitcoin is from faucets, where they will be able to see and know how hard is to earn money, they can also play some games to earn bitcoin for they relax a bit, then they can join bitcointalk, and see which thing they can do to earn extra bitcoins, knowing that some of them might join signatures, and others can buy and sell something, or do some tasks for bitcoin.

No need for them to use faucets and face how hard it is to earn bitcoins. It would give them the impression that doing bitcoins is boring and isn't worth doing. There are other things that you can do to earn bitcoins which is far easier and makes you earn more bitcoins at the same time. It would be much better if they start by searching what is mining, gambling, trading, and other things about bitcoin that you can do. By doing that, they're learning something unlike in faucets wherein they're just going to solve captchas.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 30, 2016, 08:00:57 AM
Most of the people around me are not yet aware of bitcoin because all they know is social media like facebook, posting, sharing, liking all day. I told them to just explore because we can really make money online but still they don't care maybe I don't have the power of encouragement. By the way, I'm from Philippines.

I am also from the same country as you, I noticed too that people are busy with social media and sharing hoax news. What I notice is that some of us love those "too good to be true", and MLM's and things like that, but if you told them that they could earn with bitcoin, they are in doubt and if they believe you, it would only take days and leave and back to browsing facebook instead of earning. But anyway, my family already know what is bitcoin since I already told them what it is, they are not asking me anything anymore, so it might mean that they are not interested.

It's because most people want to do little work and earn a lot. Networking AKA MLM is still going on in the Philippines. After being warned so many times, people still believe that they're going to earn from MLM. Well, yes you would earn from that if you're a manipulative person and were able to recruit a lot of people. Otherwise, you just gave them donations.

I have friends that begged their parents for money just to join MLM and earned nothing but never want to take a little amount of money out of their pocket to buy bitcoins even when they see that I'm earning money out of this.
1708  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 30, 2016, 07:52:06 AM
Managing money is really hard especially to people like me that wants to buy anything that I want. When i had my first bitcoin i bought a phone. I changed it first to real money and bought it. And i think why didnt I invested it. Then i had an everyday facepalm everytime I remember that

That is right actually, for people like us it is really hard to manage money if we are willing to buy anything we want, like you i also did that thing, i used my bitcoins to buy a bike for myself but to be honest i really needed that, but still i want to save my bitcoins but every month i cash some of them out and spend on myself.

It is not a hard thing to manage money, because with my situation my budget for weekly expenses is not that even high.

Let's say my budget for 3 days is just $10 so how would you budget that? Since I'm not that very socialite person, I'm having a proper budgeting.

I'm setting aside up those things that I need to allocate my funds like fare and some meal allowances. Just don't get too cocky to buy everything you want.
$10 for 3 days? How did you able to manage it?Are you still eating on that amount? Saving and budgeting really helps so that you could able to manage your money well and could able to survive on daily living but that amount you mentioned seems too unbelievable to consider because its really to low and i cant imagine how you able to manage it. Expenses and bills are considered normal but on buying wants its not really ideal.

Actually yes, I'm still able to eat with that amount. Since I don't need to spend too much because my destinations are just a walk away.

Because I'm not focusing with the things that I want, I'm focusing more with the things that I need to spend to, like paying bills and everything.

I usually spend $3/day and of course with the help of some relatives and friends that surrounds for the food so I don't have to spend too much with it.

In third world countries, you can survive for less than $3 a day. As a college student, I only need no more than $2 to survive. That would cover my transportation, and food. I eat the cheapest food in the cafeteria. I mentioned this before in a chat box in a gambling site and people can't believe that it's the only amount of money I need. If you do live in the province, people usually share their food to their neighbors. It's okay that you eat from your relative's so you don't actually have to spend that much money.

But of course even if I only need $2 a day. I still have to pay for my school fees which is about $180 for a semester.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 30, 2016, 07:43:19 AM
I dont think this is a good question because how do you think bitcoin can help poor countries do you really think that bitcoins can help them grow if they dont have money for food how would they have money for bitcoins lol.

I think the people that have nothing to eat is out of the equation. It's only common sense that they can't afford a computer or a smartphone to do bitcoins.

It's not mandatory that you buy bitcoins at first. You can earn them for free from signature campaigns, and faucets although both would take some time. You can also offer services and sell goods. I came from a poor country and I say that bitcoins have helped me and most of my friends online to buy things that we can't buy before. Some of them have started their own business in real life and some are still saving enough bitcoins.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2016, 05:31:07 AM
Still pokemon go is not available in our country..
don't know when it will come.
but I think if once it is done than it will more popular.
They got the No.1 position when they launched the game
,So there is no need for them to offer us btc for playing.

The Pokemon Go hype is over and it's still not available in your country? I bet the game will never be available in your country. People have expected a lot from Pokemon Go and there aren't even new updates about the game. You still can't fight each other, and there's still no in-game-currency. I guess the project will just die by its own. People have collected as much Pokemons before, traveled different places to get Pokemons. Maybe they realized that all those efforts are just for nothing.
1711  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: November 30, 2016, 04:51:11 AM
I personly can't hold myself back when it comes to spending money . every time I try to save some another new products cines up they I have to buy.but when it comes to Bitcoin I haven't spent any because I can't find that many places to do so and I believed that Bitcoin has a more value than real money so spending is really hard for me

I can totally relate to this. My bitcoins have been just sitting there for months now. I have a plan to buy a gaming PC for so long now. I have the money to buy it but a huge part of me don't want to spend that much bitcoins because I know that it would give me profit if I hold it long enough. Because of this, I don't even spend fiat. It kind of made me disciplined when it comes to money because if I spend all my fiat, I know that there wouldn't be more fiat coming to me because most of my income are in bitcoin form.

Just an advise, those new products that you're buying right now will reduce its price as time pass by. It would be much wiser to buy bitcoins instead but as you said, you can't control yourself. A lot of people have been experiencing the same thing and there's a lot of reddit posts that can help you about that, though.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: An Honest Introduction to Money on: November 30, 2016, 04:37:50 AM
Money is the one that rules the entire human activities. These days people have been giving respect to each other based upon the money they hold or the status they acquire with the money earned.

Even in the past, people who have literally nothing don't matter to the society. It's really unfair that some people were born broke while some were born rich. But that's just how it is. The only difference is that nowadays, even broke people can become successful if they invent something good or if they work really hard. Back then, if you're a slave, then you're going to serve your master your whole lifetime and you can also be sold to other rich people.

I'm aware that respect should be earned and all but money actually indicates how much your family have worked hard. If you have money, then it's most probably one of your family member is already a respected member of the society and it makes you respected as well no matter how bad your attitude or character is or no matter how useless you are. You can be the dumbest person in the world but still get respect from others.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: November 30, 2016, 04:27:09 AM
It is not banned anywhere. They can not ban it it will never be controlled.  How will anyone know who is doing what with their bitcoin and when ? You can't probe someone owns the bitcoins so there is no case to win in court.

Actually, you can. There are also places where bitcoin transactions are going on and the personal information of the user is given (i.e. Facebook or any social media sites). You can easily pretend that you're going to buy something from that person and ask for his wallet address. That can be used as proof that he owns that address but the final decision will always come from the judge. You can also pretend to sell something and the wallet that he used to pay you surely belongs to him.
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: November 30, 2016, 03:45:24 AM
Bitcoin has very strong security the biggest weakness in bitcoin is the user, since you can be deceived and download a wallet infected by malicious code, or a key logger could be used to get your passwords or you could get scammed very easily.

In hacking movies like 'No system is safe' and TV series like 'Mr. Robot', the people have always been the weakness of any secured company. They do social engineering and it's no wonder why even in the bitcoin network, people are still the weak part. I think the reason for this is because humans are the ones controlling the whole thing, they are the one monitoring it. So if you could deceive the user, then you can take over his account.

Anyway, it's kind of easy to avoid this by yourself by having a 2FA on your account. But then again if there's a keylogger or virus on your computer, then you're always doomed to be hacked. I'm using malwarebytes to scan viruses and so far it's all good.
1715  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 30, 2016, 03:03:25 AM
Maybe we can do something like:
CFNP|Bitsler (yahoo62278)|post/weekly|0.0015|0.0014|0.00133|x|x|x|x|1/w|30/w|N|

Just so we wouldn't add another column but still have the name of the manager in the table. I put in the current table, and it looks like this in my browser:

The name of the manager is just below the name of the campaign and it doesn't consume any horizontal space (which fixes the issue about the horizontal length of the table).
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: November 28, 2016, 03:09:35 PM
I think fiat is not affected by the price of bitcoin, this is two different thing because each could complement each other. Let us keep each other so that both of them still remain.

The price of bitcoin, maybe so, maybe not? Bitcoin having this price would mean that a lot of people are already using it. We're starting to grow in numbers. That means mass adoption is starting to happen. It would only be a matter of time once we start to grow. Right now, we're not growing that much just yet. But we'll come to that.

The price of bitcoin is one of the signs of how much people are already using it. Mass adoption would surely increase the price of bitcoin.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 28, 2016, 02:47:38 PM
i think we can not use bitcoin for illegal activity because bitcoin is very modern currency and there is modern people who are using bitcoin just for legal activity and we can use bitcoin for online and no one can selling their illegal product for bitcoin.

Wait what?

The internet is full of illegal things.

People have been using bitcoins for illegal transactions ever since. Actually it must be the most used ones when it comes to online transactions. The anonymity privilege has been abused by criminals in the dark net. You might not see it and you might think that people have been doing only legal transactions here but you don't actually know what's happening on the other side. Even in real life, you might live in a place where people are all looking innocent but behind all those, there are shady things going on.
1718  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 28, 2016, 01:04:51 PM
I wish it could not insert google spreadsheet or so here in post..
most of campaigns have 50post/week limit.  It is not much, it is easy to post about 8 post/day. But that was only my suggestion
and Mitchell you are doing great work and keep working Smiley

Personally, I think you should be grateful that this table exists. You don't have to scrape the whole services board just to find the best rates, minimum post counts, and the maximum earnings that you can get from various campaigns. It'll take up a lot of your time and you'll end up doing your own spreadsheet if you do that. Someone has been doing that for you now. Life's much easier. Only one guy has to scrape the services board for all the users here. So now that you have all the fundamental info about all the campaigns, maybe you should do your part and calculate the maximum earnings yourself.

But that was just my opinion and I'm just a no one here so don't mind it. Tongue
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 27, 2016, 12:02:07 PM
Its kind a funny in here bd..
people around me don't even know about bitcoin.
Forget what they are thinking about btc..
I'm  The One from the thousands who know something about Bitcoin.
Lol I think it's not a funny thing, I think it's reasonable if they do not already know about bitcoin, because bitcoin is not too well known in their area. so I think we should do something like telling them

I tried to share my piece of experience with bitcoin to my neighbor but well it was like they are hearing an alien language lol.  They tend to just nod for listening sake and did not even inquire about it.  I even told them the possible opportunity bitcoin may give but well they have their job and just ignore me lol.  Sad but this is true.

As a non-native English speaker, if someone talked to me using uncommon or deep English words, I would also just nod to let the moment pass. I don't understand you and I think it would be rude to tell you to stop talking so I guess your neighbors were just being polite there. Your neighbors don't know the terminologies of the cryptocurrency, but at least you did introduce them to bitcoins. Maybe at some point they'll look it up online. They're living in comfort right now because they have a stable job but once they face financial crisis, that would increase the chances of them being interested in bitcoins.
1720  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: November 27, 2016, 10:59:39 AM
I think the government will not make crypto to replace fiat, but I am sure the government will develop a system fiat to make it more modern in the future that could be used better in the future. Because fiat been very attached either in a country that will not be replaced and I believe any government would not want to replace it. Because I think fiat determinant of a country's economy.

Actually I think that's already here. The banking system is now modernized because you can connect your card into your Paypal account. It seems a success and there's a discussion in this forum already about Paypal Vs. Bitcoin. Both of them have their downside and advantages but I think Paypal which uses fiat for digital transactions are doing just fine. And since Paypal funds is like fiat's cryptocurrency, it's accepted in most online stores unlike bitcoins.
