1721  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 27, 2016, 10:38:49 AM
First payments for Crypto-News have been made earlier today (reference), as there are still open spots, the campaign can be moved to active.
All spots filled for now, the campaign can be moved to CFNP.

It says OPEN on your title again but I'm putting you on CFNP like you said.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 27, 2016, 10:03:14 AM
We all can agree that if we buy bitcoin now, you will profit no matter what, because it will be more expensive in the future.
So why people are still being fools - and think that useless (faucet) or totally random dependent (gambling) ways of gathering BTC are good?
Just buy it already, use standard Bitcoin exchange, it is the best way!

The problem here is that most people don't have initial money to buy BTCs, they want to earn money because they don't have it, don't have jobs. For who already has a lot of money it's very easy to make profit with BTCs and increase the fortune, the real challenge here is to start from zero and reach to the top of world.  Wink

I agree with you. You have to invest a huge amount of money in order to actually earn by just holding bitcoins. Let's say that you bought 45$ of bitcoins, after a couple of months, you would only earn a little. On the other hand, I also think that we shouldn't just rely on holding our bitcoins to make money. Regardless of how you earn money, you would have to work hard to make profit. I think most people have 10$ and they can start trading using that amount of money. Would be much better if it was higher but it's good amount for starters, just to have some experience.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 27, 2016, 08:42:36 AM
The fact is people around me doesn't know what bitcoin is. Even well experienced and educated teacher also don't know what bitcoin is and when they hear about it they think that is useless and so they don't care about it.

Most teachers aren't techy and it isn't a requirement for them to teach. There are even techy people that don't know bitcoins. It's usually teenagers that know bitcoin because they all want to earn money. I remember when there was a seminar in our school and someone introduced bitcoins to us. People just don't get it. The guy was trying his best to let everyone understand it but I think it would really take some research before you fully understand bitcoins. Even the teachers that were sitting in the front seat are all unaware of what bitcoin is.

1725  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: November 24, 2016, 03:00:29 PM
I buy bitcoin because i see great future for the next coming years for it. The 750$ value of bitcoin now is not the peak price of it, i believe in the near future it will go 1000$ or even more. Once it happened many people will regret for not believing in bitcoin and to others also saying that it is fake or scam.

I do believe that it will happen, history will repeat itself. Bitcoins highest peak is $1,200+ and as I said it will be repeated. That's why buying bitcoin at lower price as today will give us profit when the time comes for its highest peak to come back again to thousand dollar valued crypto. Just forget about those people who are not trusting bitcoin, let them feel regret for their own wrong thought.

It's only a matter of time before we reach that price again. Actually, if history would repeatedly repeat itself, we would be stuck in a loop wherein we're going to reach 1200$ price level and then have a major dump, then be below 1200$ for years again. Not a good thing for me. We don't have to mind those people that do not trust bitcoin and vice versa. If you really lose your money in bitcoins, who cares? Only you. If you did earn money by trusting bitcoin, do those non-believers be proud of you or care about your profits? No.

1727  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 24, 2016, 02:24:41 PM
Looks like OP is trying to make their childrens make money for him by playing Tongue

Don't know the age of your kids however I don't think it's an good thing to make this.

Game is something to play for fun, money is something more serious.

Whenever I think of a parent like this, I can only think of him as someone that created kids to make money. His kids are just like dwarfs that were made to play games, earn money, and then repeat for the next day.

I don't think so, when i was a kid i used to play flash games for money on "http://Prizee.com" , and i did earn some ( cent by cents ).
I guess there are people like you that have been controlled by the invisible hand AKA money at an early age. You have the rights to do whatever you want but did you play those flash games because it was fun or because you know that at the end of the day, you'll be having some centavos?

Thing is micropayments werent a big thing back in 2001 so i never reached the minimum ammount of money necessary to Cash-Out  ( although i think that was part of their business strategy lol )
So basically you wasted your time, you wasted your childhood even. Smiley All those days spent playing flash games went to nothing because you didn't reach the minimum cash out amount or maybe the website was designed to be like that? Have a minimum cash that is hard to reach so people cannot cash out at all.

My point being, even has for a kid, money adds flavour and excitement to any kind of game, Bitcoin is money and today's kids would be able do understand that better than anyone.
Not sure, kids nowadays are too lazy to study in school. That's a good sign that they wouldn't do any effort to read articles about bitcoin.
1728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: November 24, 2016, 01:53:27 PM
The bigger amount is better and good for trading, but I've only with a capital of 0.01 btc can already altcoin trading, and could benefit 3 times only in 2 days, but I can not repeat again.

This is not always the rule of thumb. Suppose that the altcoin that you invested into has been pumped up, then the bigger investments would surely be better because you would have greater profit. But on the negative side, if that altcoin decreased, then you would tell yourself that you should've not invested that big amount in altcoin tradings. Basically just the same thing as when you're gambling. Even if you do small chunks of a big amount, when the price decreased, you'd still regret it. Start using big amounts when you're experienced enough not when you're just starting in trading.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 24, 2016, 01:44:57 PM
You can give Bitcoin to homeless people now.
It looks like even they started using it.:-)
Look at below
https://imgur.com/gallery/Y2eRs
I wouldn't use "they" as that is just one guy and he's not a representative of all the homeless people in the world. Look at the sign, it's not the original sign that he's using. Someone must've put it there to put the photo on the internet and get some attention. Probably put it there just for the sake of fun. Personally, I haven't seen a homeless person have a phone, let alone a smartphone. They don't have the money to buy one and even if someone gives them a phone, they don't know how to use it and they don't have a place to charge it. It would just be a waste.
1730  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 24, 2016, 01:37:24 PM
The dream is what make some of us invest into personal projects, like exchanges, casinos, dice, and some try at faucets, the thing is for me those time has gone already, now we can make and get some income from those, besides that became rich with bitcoin its something i doubt can happen. Bitcoin is getting bigger but for how long will people choose bitcoin as their main currency, why not to make with other crypto that has potencial, and handle fast transactions and has less problems then bitcoin, to get pumped and replace bitcoin. Altcoins will reach bitcoin as people forget bitcoin or do see their problems, even knowing bitcoin is upgrading to follow others coins and avoid any future issue.

So what you're saying is to become rich with bitcoins, we have to switch to using altcoins? Cheesy Kind of ironic, don't you think? You're talking about altcoins that have the potential should get pumped and then replace bitcoin but you didn't mention any name. Which altcoin exactly are you talking about? ETH? Dash? Doge? LTC? Last time I checked, most altcoins are getting dumped so hard after the early investors made a profit together with the devs of the altcoin. They just exit the scene.

I think we're going to choose bitcoin for a really long time. We're so far from preferring altcoins over bitcoins.
1731  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: November 24, 2016, 01:30:21 PM
on the Internet there is the possibility of offering services for Bitcoins, this will depend on the investor's ability to provide such services.

But we have no info about the topic starter position and skills.

Probably he has no skills and want to earn some easy big money. That is impossible. Anywhere you go without skills it's possible to earn low bunchs of money, doesn't matter if you are talking about real life or internet money.
Considering it's impossible to earn such amount of money in a month or two, what I can suggest to OP is to try mini jobs on different sites. We have options like captcha typers, faucets, ptc sites and the best one: signature campaign.

without skills, we can not earn money, even if we only has a little skills, i am sure that we can make a few bucks in daily. but it will be better if we have skills, any skill, because it can help us to make more money than we can think. the list of option you mention is a good start but it needs to stay focus and continue for a middle time before you can get much of money.

That's why it would be much better if you spend a lot of time sharpening your saw than to use your dull saw right away and spend all your time sawing a tree. One thing that I've noticed in the world, you get paid depending on your skill. If you have no skill or knowledge, then you don't have the rights to rant about not getting the amount of salary that you want. If everyone can do what you're doing, you can easily be replaced. The type of person that you are isn't scarce.

Skillful people, on the other hand, gets paid a lot, like.. a lot. They spent their time enhancing their skills, beating the person they were yesterday, and that's how they got into where they are right now.
1732  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: November 24, 2016, 01:09:42 PM
bitcoin's fast transaction is still beaten by paypal because they doesn't need any confirmation to send the money while bitcoin does and it take about 15 minutes average. and it's indeed that paypal's verification sometimes making their users confused their asses and really complicated

I think 10 minutes max of waiting is worth choosing over having a feature that allows the people you transacted with to get their money back. There's also the mysterious feature of Paypal that freezes your account for 180 days. Let's see how convenient is waiting for 180 days. Combined all the waiting that you had in your bitcoin transactions, it wouldn't even sum up to 180 days even if we assume that you experienced the days that you had to wait before the transaction gets confirmed.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 23, 2016, 03:34:35 PM

Everyone BoyCott BTC for 24 hours because of the Ignored Transaction Problems
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1690300.0

 Cool

I can't do that brother, I have transactions daily with bitcoin and it's business for me. If I do that I will not earn for one day, so sorry not to participate. Anyway, what happen to the link, seems not working anymore.

Censored because they were afraid of it.
If it was your business, I understand it did not have to be everyone , but a good # would have sent a message
Boycott of BTC is still on for 24 hours for all that can.

 Cool
Or maybe they just don't want to see a spammy thread? There has been some times when the bitcoin transaction is slow, and you're going to sell all of your coins just because of that? Please upload some pictures proving that you're actually boycotting bitcoins. I bet you can't. It's so immature to think that you should leave the bitcoin community just because it took you longer than expected to send or receive your coins.

For what it's worth, no one would support that idea. At least not for now.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: November 23, 2016, 03:19:50 PM
A lot of people might have heard of bitcoin but they don't use it. They don't research any further. Bitcoin is something that people are aware of it's existence but don't put an effort to learn it. Bitcoin is also just a currency like fiat currencies. We've heard of Euros, but not everyone's using it. The majority knows it's a currency, but don't use it at all. My point is that just because they might somehow heard about bitcoin from someone, it doesn't force them to learn things about it.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 23, 2016, 03:05:11 PM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

I heard or read somewhere that bitcoin were really used before illegally by those rich people to hired killers not knowing each others identity. I dont know if its real but we all know that bitcoin being an online money there is really possibilty that it really happens. Just give account wallet send pictures of your work then thats it.

That really is happening. My friend told me that you have to give all the details to the hitman before they agree to do the job. You will have to give them the escape plan and all. Otherwise, they wouldn't do it. Even in fiat, that is happening. There's no difference in bitcoin, just different form of money and just more anonymity since if the government conduct an investigation, they will just end up being on a dead end investigation since your whereabouts are hidden.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 23, 2016, 02:51:03 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I did earn a small amount of bitcoin this past week coming from my signature campaign.. but that btc only sleep on wallet for one day and  lose them all because of those hyip and doublers. I  promise not to join on them.
You did join those type of investment sites because you wanted to get rich with bitcoins, right? Smiley Now, your dream is just a dream. People wants to live in fantasy that's why HYIP sites and doublers don't run out of investors. It's time for you to wake up and never try anything like that again. Save your signature campaign earnings and once you're a full member, you can finally join a signature campaign that pays well.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 23, 2016, 02:37:17 PM
Bitcoin need fiat and fiat need bitcoin this is just a cycle this both need everyone it's like in relationship you need a boyfriend and you need a girlfriend you can live without girlfriend but in the end you will find one and it will leave you again but there are going to change and it still you have boyfriend and for this bitcoin can't replace fiat how ever fiat has already a big contribute in bitcoin economi
Fiat doesn't need bitcoin. Fiat has been there even without bitcoins. It was the most used form of money even when bitcoin wasn't there. It's more like a one-sided love, bitcoin needs fiat. Without fiat, we can't measure the value of bitcoin. It would just be 1BTC=1BTC. The pricing would all be in BTC and never in USD or any other fiat currency. However, I don't know how come fiat has a big contribution in the bitcoin economy. Can you please elaborate that part?
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 23, 2016, 02:30:31 PM
bitcoin use for illegal activities certainly is not allowed. bitcoin was created with the purpose to be used as a medium for the delivery of easy money and fast. people using bitcoin to illegal acts should be punished in accordance with applicable regulations.
Not allowed according to what? Your beliefs? The government? The government cannot do anything about you using bitcoin for illegal activities. Suppose that you used it for illegal activity (e.g. hiring a hitman), they can't trace it back to you. They might be able to find your bitcoin wallet address but they don't know your personal details just by having that. I also think that people that use bitcoin or any form of money for illegal things should be punished but it's really hard to get proofs that the bitcoin wallet address belongs to that particular person.
1739  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 23, 2016, 02:20:26 PM
I believe that kida of coding generation and current generation are much more smarter then us. They could easily master internet before they celebrate their 10 birthday. Do they could definitely make huge money from 5 years to 15 years within this 10 years interval they could make 1btc easily.

I know it's kind of impressive whenever you see a kid that can do all the computer stuffs that you have had problems doing when you were just starting using the computer. But when you look at it, it's actually pretty basic. It's pretty easy to learn. Even older people can use the computer.

"Master the internet"? Are you sure? Can they create their own webpage? Can they create security stuffs? No. I think "master the internet" is an overstatement. Kids only know how to Google, play games, and some other basic stuffs on the Internet. Even Satoshi (founder of bitcoin) haven't mastered the internet and I think no one can. I think kids nowadays are simply computer literate.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 23, 2016, 02:04:16 PM
I like to be rich with Bitcoins. When the rate increases and increased my wealth, I feel the joy
You can't get rich by simply waiting for the price increase. You feel the joy everytime there's a price increase? You must be extremely happy last last week when the price of bitcoins increased a lot. Simply holding your coins wouldn't take you somewhere unless you hold thousands of bitcoin which I assume you're not since you're enrolled in a signature campaign. You have to work hard to become rich with bitcoins but I guess you'll get some shares from Darcus coin (based on your signature at the moment) and that's a good start.
