I'm enjoying staking it, just have to market and have bounties for marketing, translations and so on. That draws more buyers and less likely to stay down because more want to profit from it by buying it.

There is no minimum of 808 coins you have to have to stake. You need to wait at least 8.08 days before you're coins are mature for staking but with that low amount of 38k it might take weeks before you stake you're coins. That is why its best to stake at least 500k to 1 million coins which yirld the best results in a shorter amount of time.
Thanks for the reply. As soon as a movement upwards is coming I will consider buying more coins. But on a long perspective I see several issues: 1) This coin currently does not have any vision. It's just about staking without any additional benefits. To be successful on a medium time scale there has to be just more input. Otherwise it's just a tool for some folks to gather money in a period of a couple of months after the market caps drops to zero. 2) There must be much more marketing, especially a better website. 3) An indicator for the time till the next staking would be extremely useful. Totally agree. There are a lot of coins out there. Without marketing this coin will sadly implode because some people have brought the value down from 20 sat to 5 sat in a week. I believe that more people will learn about staking and start to buy in greater numbers. Hopefully, those with deeper pockets can hire some people, buy some banner ads, to repay for what they've received. |

After all the coin supply goes up by more than 60% a month. Maybe its time for lowering the overall supply by a swap or something. Right now there are so much sell orders for this coin selling the stakes is impossible for reasonable prices.
I think the way to do it is to teach more people about staking wallets, how easy they are to backup, and which 5-10 coins have low entry to receive stakes and how to tell them from the bad ones (which seem to tank now to 1 sat within a few weeks). It would be nice if you could expect everyone to be a gentlemen and keep the price high but some people are impatient about getting BTC rewards from their coins. |

Chesscoin is a great coin and has a little bit of a community that want to see it succeed. It has one of the most beautiful (visually) wallets around. The staking rate is just high enough, not too much for hyperinflation. |

I am not sure there are enough "gentlemen" to not have such high POS interest coins from crashing at 1 Sat. 1 Sat coins are ok if you use the staking profits to make DOGE or LTC. If you want some higher POS coins that won't get to 1 Sat try Truckcoin, Bottlecaps, RAIN, Boat, PiggyCoin, Version, 808, Growthcoin, HealthyWorm and Kangeroobits2.

The signs are there. Winter is coming for all exchanges. The government is taking over and setting a new rules. I will not deposit my bitcoin on any centralized exchange. We need more of dex. And in particular, we need dex for bitcoin trading.
I also believe that the future is behind decentralized exchanges. I do not consider them uncomfortable or ugly. To understand the principle of their work is not difficult. I like their idea. Are decentralized exchanges not vulnerable to the whims of the development team? If it's all on a blockchain, it's not. If they tamper with it or the interface to it, it shows their not a good team. |

I invested in this and a couple more ICO's but what percentage of ICO's have not tanked so far? Hoping for the best. Maybe in two years or so it will be an established currency with an infrastructure of use. I wouldn't sell this until you at least can double your investment.

I contacted them too. There really aren't a lot of POS coins that stake well. It's almost like the ICO thing. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but both the bad POS coins and the ICO's have done more damage to Crypto than anything other than the scammers, maybe they are connected, or the criminals that have used it. There have been a big batch of failed POS coins that have probably dissuaded a lot of people from staking. It lost their money, for sure. The good staking coins right now are Growthcoin, Truck, Version, Rain, 808, Piggy, Bottlecaps, Worm, and Boat. I think KGB2 can be a winner, too. The rest are too expensive for most to stake or are going towards 1 to 2 sat. |

ran daemon to download the blockchain
imported address/private spend/ private view with CLI flags
close and reopen cli and still 0 balance
tried this from scratch 3 times
double checked each character of each key (excruciating)

seems so  maybe its better  It's a shame to see them locking people out of accounts based on setting up many levels of "security codes" and then delaying sending the pin they require for you to set it. I guess that keeps people away from trading the coin for as long as possible. Companies that think about doing this need to stop thinking about it. It's such a violation of trust that their customers set up for them. Maybe it's just some glitch but it should be obvious it looks bad, so they should prioritize that these things are working. |

if dev is serious about this project,he now have a chance to get boat coin listed on cryptopia because they offer half price listing fee for any coin that is listed on nova exchange. dev should take up this offer now because boat need other exchange and cryptopia is good exchange for boat coin.
Cryptopia are in NZ and New Zealand just came down on Crypto today saying they are securities... so I doubt Cryptopia will be firing on all cylinders now. I'm on the bid at TradeSatoshi if anyone has some boat they want to float my way. In addition if anyone has a big lump I'm interested at 10sats. We can cross them on TradeSatoshi. We need to concentrate liquidity there. Stocks only trade significantly on one exchange... why need it be any different for crypto?!? You have to understand most of us have bought it at over 30 Sats and this has a low staking rate compared to the hyperinflated coins that are tanking. |

The price is going down not because someone is crashing the price by putting big sell orders on. The price is low because people don't realize that staking creates BTC. Many, if not most, are paranoid about having wallets on their harddrives because they don't know how easy it is to back them up and probably think they'll be hacked. I always thought people who understood crypto needed to do a better job in educating others about it.
