When pool mining, how to back in solo mining?

Answered on the new forum

What do you mean 'rename your passphrases.txt back to what it was'?

If you just keep copies of your solo and pool miner folders, you can just cut and paste your plots folder, and you're good to go, once you set your reward assignment of course.

If we can get BURST on Bittrex as it heads toward the end of the wedge, we could see a really nice breakout.

Or it could go into an unrestrained lumpkin dive......

Tim, do you need a cookie so you'll be in a better mood, higher blood sugar levels? I have a cookie for you.

Did someone get a payout from burstmultipool.com?  I have been mining for one day now and no payout.

STILL NO PAYOUT HERE, AND MY BALANCE IS RAPIDLY APPROACHING 5500 BURST...

Any word from paradigm about this?

I want to keep my 900GH SHA there, but I can't if I am not getting paid.

Thanks!

Guys, someone made a forum just for us. Why don't we start moving discussions there where they can be split by categories.
http://burstforum.com
Instead of just flooding one single thread, we can flood an entire forum Smiley
Just kidding.
The idea is that it will be easier to follow since all the problems will be in the support area, announcements in announcements and so on. People would find things a lot easier.

I joined the forum, I like it, well done mod!

With all these pool/wallet issues, I guess it's time to go back to solo mining.

Anyone receive payouts from burstmultipool.com? 24+hrs and nada.

no, no payment.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | New multipools on: September 08, 2014, 09:20:08 PM
Looking for miners (ASIC ones especially!)
http://burstmultipool.com!
scrypt: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:3333
sha: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:5555
x11: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:4444
Keccak: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:6666
scrypt-n: stratum+tcp://pool.burstmultipool.com:2222

Choosing a coin is kinda tough if you don't already know what algo it uses.
It would be nice to have the site updated to list the algo next to the names of the coins.

Also, when clicking on a coin (myriadcoin), it states:
Username: your myriadcoin wallet address

...I assume this means your BurstCoin wallet address and not a wallet for that specific coin, right? (might want to update that as well)
or are those for direct mining those coins?
I'm pretty sure that the front end is a copy/paste of another pool, which is why parts of it really don't make sense. Hopefully he'll get it cleaned up and customized for BURST, but in the mean time, don't try to pick a coin, just pick one of the algos he lists, the pool will automatically mine the best coin for that algo.
ty, fixed the issue where it was saying to use the specific coin wallets as worker names
Awesome! Just threw another 600GH @ SHA your SHA pool. The "Pools" page reflects the new hashing power I added, but my individual address is only showing ~400GH... It's been 10+min since I added them, but I'll wait a little longer to see if it reflects properly.

Edit: Hashing power is now reporting properly Smiley

Yea, and if the profitability it reports is correct, then it's better than what I was getting on nicehash, very nice.

Definitely needs a little bit of tweaking with stats, and the few broken links, but overall very nice, and I'm happy with it. Can't wait to see my first payout! Thanks!

I have some equipment to throw at this as well, particularly the SHA, so I'm also interested in getting this working .

Well done! Everyone hop on the multi pool!!!

I hopped on, but for some reason my Antminers can't connect. I must be doing something wrong, but after reading the instructions a bunch of times, I'm certain i'm correct. I am reading back through to see if my question was already answered, thanks.

I am up and running, have almost a terahash there of SHA.

However, the stats page doesn't seem to work, and I have no way of telling if I am actually gaining anything or not. All I know is that I am connected, and sending 900 mh or so of SHA, which will soon increase.

I just checked, and my ant that I pointed is mining away! Awesome, time to throw the other one there now! Then maybe some x gpus as well.

Use your BURST wallet as your username and any password! Complete stats and profitability as well as visibility.  You might recognize the site design. Smiley

Check the 'MY MINER' page to see how many BURST you have earned so far the current shift as well as any outstanding balances! And also see exactly how many coins, of what type, your miner has earned so far!!

still not able to connect SHA with my antminer s3's Sad

mining with CPU... mining with cards... mining with harddrives and utilizing my ram generating plots on 3 other computers networked to this one Smiley oh and dont forget the asics out in the freezer box .

hell yea, burst power!

BTW, burstmultipool.com will run the same way the old Cinnipool did - shifts will end automatically every 6 hours. Smiley

okay, tried to connect, but I'm getting a 'dead' message on the status, do I have to use my burst alphanumeric or just the numeric account number?

anything else I need to know?
Its working for me on X11. I used the regular burst wallet address, the BURST-XXXX address.

alright, I will go back to having it setup that way and check again. Thanks.

I think there is something wrong with the coin switcher, I started getting errors, closed the miner and restarted and now its working again.

I can't even get my s3's to connect to the pool at all. they are saying the pool is dead.

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS...

Here are some screenshots of the new UI that's in development, sorry it took a little longer than expected. But this will at least let you know it's in the works!!

http://burst.today/?page_id=2

Will the plotter in it be optimized?

I think we are going to use the new plot.exe ported over from dcct's plotter. So, yes, it will be the most optimized plotter.
