There is an extremely simple solution to quit gambling with bitcoin. just throw all of your btc in a paper wallet and store it or give it to someone you trust to hold onto it. If you do not have access to the money, then you can possible lose it. right? For me it is not the best way as the person will remain with nothing and he will not be able to spend his life better and he will not be able to start any other activity like any other business as without money it is totally impossible so the better way is to start a business from beginning and give time to family for fun. But there are a lot of people who like the same way I mean there are a lot of gamblers who do not leave gambling and continue to gamble until they lose all of their money so it is better that they keep their money in some other place with some one and when they forget gambling then they have to ask for their money. There are actually a lot of people who does not stop gambling until they lose their money and you called them gambling addicts and most if not all of them suffer consequences of being irresponsible in gambling. They should quit but they do not have the guts to do it unless there are people that's close to them like their family who will influence them on a more productive activities. That is so true! I don't think that it will disappear banks as banks are already have much works to do and their work is not only to store money for people but they are also maintaining the financial affairs for governments and for different organizations.

Same as other members here i would not put up all my money into bitcoin because we all know that the price is unstable and anytime it would drop its price that would result to a huge loss for sure but im putting up only a small amount on all of my assets because i do have high hopes for bitcoin for the longer runs.

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.
The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
I liked your answer. I also do the same Wow if i woke up with 50M dollars.. I would not gamble it. I would just simply go on a long vacation and educate myself how to grow it and multiply it. Maybe work on your physical health. Start exercising/working out with some goal to reach like losing xx amount of weight. Or maybe walking/running/biking/swimming with a goal to be able to reach XX mi/km or whatever. Or train to be able to compete in some amateur walking/running/biking/swimming event. Or take up an organized team sport to help give you more structure to help keep you at it.

If you are just going to gamble your 1 btc you will just lose all of it without knowing how you losed. Investment programs are mostly scam so i don't prefer you to invest your 1 btc in that. I prefer trading because you have many choices where coin to invest or not. You must have patience in trading in order to gain profit. Same here, I would advice to just do trading than gambling. However, there is a catch of my recommendation - you must invest some time to learn how to effectively trade altcoins and know the pump and dump concepts in the market and other stuffs need to be learned. Therefore, you should not go ahead and start trading right away, better to start learning first. |
