Does nicehash plan to add stratum support for hashimoto?
Yes, sure, it is already added. Best regards, NiceHash team. Oh very cool.

Hello, BUYERS of hashing power: If you would like to buy hashing power for Ethereum you can now already use Hitchpool as target pool on the order: Stratum hostname: eu1.hitchpool.org:3334 Stratum port: 3334 Username: ETHEREUM-ADDRESS.WORKER-NAME (.WORKER-NAME is optional) Password: x Stratum hostname: us1.hitchpool.org:3334 Stratum port: 3334 Username: ETHEREUM-ADDRESS.WORKER-NAME (.WORKER-NAME is optional) Password: x SELLERS/PROVIDERS of hashing power: Please keep in mind that you still have to use our special fork of Genoil's ethminer, however Genoil as well as Claymoure will soon be releasing support for NiceHash in their official miners. Best regards, NiceHash team. Does nicehash plan to add stratum support for hashimoto?

You are confused. I built a Litecoin rig few years ago. I've since reworked it to mine Ethereum.

Lol that was massive I just hope the buy orders will follow the big leap Looks like we are holding above .10 cents. That might be the new resistance test. Well I'm pretty sure that there will be some greedy ppl who will do the best they can to crash the price (they already started doing it), but sooner or later the true value/price of Solarcoin will become a fact. We are getting more people involved with the concept of the coin - the team behind it is great so far. Once the big players get involved and invest some big money everything will come in place - there wont be any cheap Solarcoins for sure. We are slowly getting there I hope Poloniex and other big exchanges add us soon. Btw ~30 BTC injection atm and we will be trading at ~0.50 USD. So little BTC for such a big leap Anyway we will see what tomorrow will bring - anything can happen, but so far so good Really really exciting year not only for Solarcoin, but for Bitcoin too - I can't wait for the halving next month SLR could easily be $1-5 per coin, considering it's incentivizing $150 worth of power (1 MWh @ $0.15 per kWh). It does put a lot of trust into the reserve though, which even at $1 has a valuation of $97.5B. So SLR upside resistance on price, IMHO, has a lot to do with the transparency of the Foundation and the massive trust one must place in an organization not to misappropriate coins, need to secure the private keys from theft, etc. Even at $0.10, you're looking at 97.5 * $0.1 = $10B in reserve coin value, which is a lot of responsibility. There's work being done to secure the pool with an algo or some other technology. I don't have a timeline, but it's one of the projects getting some serious attention.

Hi all fellow miners! https://etherite.com has been operating for nearly 2 weeks now and is slowly building up a miner base and we have found 12 Blocks so far and have a transaction record of all payments made! We are currently offering all miners that mine with us (based on address) 0% fees for life if you mine with us in the next 48 hours. A record of all miner address's will be made and those address's will never incur a pool fee forever! We also pay all transaction fees applicable for payments. So come along try us out, give any feedback or suggestions you have and last of all mine some ETH! Thanks Etherite Twitteradmin@etherite.comI tossed my tiny rig on your pool. Welcome aboard if you have any issues or suggestions please let me know. The pool looks great and operates well. it's one of the few my setup doesn't have problems with.

Sometimes if it winds up on an exchange, they can help.

I just picked up a tiny bit of this intriguing idea. May it flourish.

When Solarcoin is being traded, it acts like a wave. When Solarcoin is being spent, it acts like a particle.

If SLR get added to poloniex, fasten your seatbelt!!!!!
I don't think the word is totally out yet. Once smart whales get wind they will buy SLR on Bittrex to sell on Poloniex. I don't think it's going to affect the price as much as people would like it to. What it will do is add liquidity and that's always nice.

Hi all, I need to put a request out to the community. We are running an ARM wallet on a BitSeed Node and it will be used for a presentation next week at the Chain-of-things(CoT) event. Here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/chain-of-things-blockchain-iot-case-study-and-conference-tickets-24424181384We have a problem that we are stuck at block #1177294 and we have only found 2 blocks in 12 hours. The current blockchain is up to #1194909. Here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/slr/I talked to the people that compiled the ARM wallet for the Bitseed node and they said one reason for the slow block update might be due to the fact that we have sometimes less than 36 nodes on the network. So to cover that possibility, we are asking anyone who has the ability to turn on more nodes, please turn on what you can? At least for the next 5 days. The presentation is on June 1st. Have you tried restarting the wallet? Occasionally it'll get stuck while updating, but it's never been a serious problem. Tried to restart the wallet about 5 times. We are always stuck. We are still stuck today and haven't discovered any blocks. So I am going to leave it on another 24 hours and then power down cause I must travel (with the node). -lfloorwalker Is it possible you can bootstrap the chain on the linux software?

If I know more about the attack vectors maybe I can help more or maybe if there is a list of attack vectors for the community to research that would work. But my guess is the concerns are hardware and software vulnerabilities. Software you can solve by formal verification and correct by construction to make it bug free. Hardware it really depends on what you can afford and how determined the adversary is. Economic incentives can also be put into play to improve security. Incentive centered design can take care of that part using smart contracts: https://www.usenix.org/legacy/event/hotsec06/tech/full_papers/wash/wash.pdfAren't we also talking about emulation of the actual device too? Plug in an emulator pass through behind your TV or Computer or every outlet in your house. Claim to have solar panels and then gain reward of the $20 per SLR price levels that everyone will be buying and vying for pushing the price to $40 then $60 upwards to $400 a coin to compete with BitCoin even though it has to sell to Bitcoin, the selling could actually hurt Bitcoin markets so SLR will have an edge there. Seeing that there will be Billions of dollars of SLR dumping on Bitcoin and lowering the price it gives SLR an opportunity to catch up That is to say that people will be buying Bitcoin at that point when they could just have an epiphany and use their money to buy Solar and then Claim and then Sell SLR for Bitcoin. At that point we have another problem no one will be buying Bitcoin to sustain the sale of SolarCoin Or perhaps they don't have to buy Solar and just buy the emulator to plug into every outlet in their house in order to gain the $400 SLR Coins. They still get to use the power they emulate too as a pass through since it only monitors. So SLR price should sky rocket and Bitcoin price will dive since it has to provide the capitol for the exodus of Bitcoin from the sale of the expensive SLR. Make it happen! Each device would have to have a cryptographic identifier and you can secure these devices from emulation to a certain extent but the question is at what cost? Even now people can find ways to leech free electricity if they are willing to go through extraordinary effort. What matters is how much fraud is there and is it beyond acceptable levels? At what point is it worth the cost to do something about it? This is a bit like the botnet problem in Proof of Work mining. It has to be worth it. At a certain point in scale, you have to provide name plate identification. Would it be economical to simulate a few watts of electricity generation below the threshold? Probably not because the cost of doing something like that will outweigh any potential ill gotten gains.

Not the answer I was looking for however my i7 laptop can disperse the heat very well. One known disadvantage it takes awhile to mine 1 eth coin plus my company forgot a dedicated card for Acad (to be added later). Currently Intel 4600 does okay.
I do take the laptop home everyday so at work or home if I can just mine for an hour with the sdcard holding all the programs except the dag then that would be great. I know with an altcoin I would just need to add a different -datadir statement. Would Ethminer be similar and how?
Install linux on a stick and run the miner 100% from the USB drive. Solves all those pesky issues.

Forget poloniex. Lets get SLR on gdax! That will be great. But seriously I can't understand why are we only on Bittrex and Bleutrade? Someone said that we wont get to poloniex because of the "pre mine". So what is the real problem and why other exchanges don't add us? It's not an issue. Ethereum has a substantial premine and it never affected getting on an exchange. There is simply not enough trade volume at the moment. The solarcoin foundation is legally bound by US law to keep the premine in check.

SolarCoin and Affiliates on track for commercial grade technology and partnerships. As many of you know our reward program has been in operation for 2 years. It is primarily a batch process which is quite cumbersome for solar energy generators. The average homeowner is quite over whelmed by downloading a "wallet" putting in an address etc. all for a few dollars worth over solarcoin. http://solarcoin.org/en/form-test/ This should change soon. ... The claimers can always wait until it is worth the time to claim. Don't mean to rain on your parade but this will bring the leaky ceiling into play. Who will buy at that price to make it worth while to claim? I know it can pump to that price but how will it sustain? There's no guarantees. There's only a theoretical approximation of value derived by the value of the technology and the size of the user base.

Trading volume really picked up this week. Nice, this coin deserves more attention. Still can't get staking to work though. Is your balance showing up properly? Is the wallet in synch? And also, what version of the wallet are you running? It is. Wallet is synced. Running version 2.1.1. There's a 'Staking' notice at the bottom of the wallet window...when my cursor is overhead, a prompting text tells me that the 'Expected time to earn interest' is 3 hours..but I've been having the wallet open and in sync for days. I've got 33 active connections as well. I think I'll try to reinstall the wallet...perhaps resyncing the blockchain is a good diea. You may have to delete the peers file. If you had the older software in there before it may have picked up some old peers that weren't working properly while the software engineers were working out those early bugs. It may fix the problem.
