It would be nice to be able to socialize with people and let go without alcohol.  People tend to do and say dumb things when they get to drunk.  I tend to notice I socialize more when alcohol is on the menu which is a good and bad thing.
That's why many people drink. Not everyone wants to get drunk, they just want to become more social, let go of themselves, and enjoy the situation better.
The hard part is often to stop drinking when you've reached that state…

Soon no - to establish a breeding population on another planet  would require genetic engineering as a full re-write and technology way beyond our current capacity.
Possible in theory yes - but I would not expect it to happen until the Sun becomes threatening
At that time we'll be long gone. It's still a few billion years left. Homo sapiens has only existed about 100000-200000 years. Seems unlikely that there still is a "Homo x" specie still here. Maybe another intelligent life form will do it?

haha are you calling religion people stupid..? :p choose your words wisely or someone might get offended..! :p I'm not one of those though.!

I wouldn't call them stupid - but they are ignorant.  To be religious you have to ignore everything you see around you.
Depends on what religion you follow. Not all religions are sects. Actually, to be religious you just have to see things in a different view.
Atheist.

Not a fan of Islam.
All Abrahamic religions as well I assume? Would be quite islamophobic otherwise.

I'm buddhist about a year back. To be honest, it actually made a big difference in my life. I like it much better now.
My view on humanity is not as dark as before, and I can find peace with most things, situations and scenarios.

So, I recently heard about the town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, and because of its name it would be interesting to visit it on a trip to UK which I'm thinking of doing.
Have anyone of you visited it and is it worth visiting at all (except getting to say I've been to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch)? Cheesy

Terraforming Mars doesn't require Nuclear fusion per say, just energy, in fact using your average coal or oil energy station would much much more effective (as it produce, greenhouse gas) than nuclear fusion which basically a clean energy. The thing about terraforming is that it takes times, and resources, I believe that before thinking about terraforming it's more important to start by getting there and turning Mars into a permanent habitat for a group of humans to justify going trough a terra forming process

Btw in around a billion years the sun will be hot enough that Mars will be hot as hot if not hotter than our current earth, and with the CO2 and water melting in caps it might terraform the planet (atmospheric pressure will increase dramatical and liquid water will form) and and life on earth will not be possible anymore, heck even Jupiter moons will start to become more earth like (the ones with atmosphere like titan).
How well does coal burn on mars then? It's no/very little oxygen there, and oxygen is one important factor to CO2.

Also, I hardly doubt that humanity is still around in a billion years. I see no reason to wait that long anyway.

There are 400 or more types of plants, fruits and vegetables that can be grown in a high quality aquaponics system. A large number of them are highly nutrious such as tomatoes, lettuce, bananas, etc
We can also nurture a variety of fish that we can eat from although we can simply fish our own fish from the ocean
In terms of meat, we can use plants grown on aquaponics to feed animals or we can import our meat to start with.
In terms of cereals yes it's limited we can always import those or find other solutions or adjust our diet accordingly.
What's more important is we can sustain ourselves 100% with just aquaponics, fish (farmed or wild) and limited animals. The rest can be imported, There is so much potential in this field for Bitcoin island sustainability.
Aquaponics can also be used to create our own biofuels, just see where this can go.
As for drinking water, we can use desalination powered by solar energy, that solves part of the problem but the cost of desal is still high.

Hmmm.. so I think that we can be self-sufficient on almost all food materials, with the exception of cereals. And regarding the drinking water, we will either decide to go for salt-water desalination or rain water harvesting.
Why not both? It's good to have multiple options.

254  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of a role does alcohol play in your lives? on: April 24, 2014, 03:18:34 PM
There is a difference between getting high, which is cool and getting completely drunk where u behave like an animal that needs to be put down.

Anyone who drinks to that level is low life scum

I'd rather smash a drunk scum face on the wall than have him kill someone while driving.
So wait, you mean that when you're drunk you're not "high"? And also that everyone that gets drunk, also drives drunk? You don't make any sense.
I like to drink a beer  or two from time to time. But I don't like strong alcohols at all. Several times a year I like to get wasted by heavy overdose of beers... also I like drink 10-20 beers per day when I am on holiday. Not much really.

me also i like beer than those hard drink like vodka i drink beer like 3 to 4 bottles a week but i only drink vodka occasionally wine is ok if there is a a steak at the table or when im depressed
IMO, wine tastes better than beer. Beer is not as strong though. Vodka is horrible when it's unflavoured.
I cannot say I enjoy the taste of alcohol that much anyway.

We could also have a few growing house(s), a few high-rises of glass in which we have strong lights, soil and water. With enough light we could grow staple food in there. As long as we produce our own energy on the island, the electricity needed would not cost us anything. The top floors could be a green house, and would not need any artificial lights either. That could be an option to grow some stuff on the island anyway.

Guys (and gals), if you read on his/her(?) website it says he is an avid bitcoin user. There's no reason to welcome him to the (bitcoin) community and warn him against scams. Just cause he's a newbie, it doesn't mean he's a newbie.
258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cell Family plans on: April 24, 2014, 11:55:35 AM
Does anyone here use family plans or on regular full price?

Family plans for what ?
It says "cell" in the title, so probably cellphones/mobile phones.
I have a regular price contract. But that's cause I don't live with my family, so that would just be weird! Cheesy

Should I create a new coin and invest in it? Can I get some profit from this?
You could very well profit from it, just pump 'n' dump it.
But please don't create another alt-coin. There are to many already, and there's a big risk it will never take off.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offline wallet generation ? on: April 24, 2014, 09:45:28 AM
you need internet to generate bitcoins.
Yes, you need internet to mine bitcoins, but you don't need internet to generate a wallet.
